Ok, for lack of a better tream my laptop has died on me. From what i can put together a power surge at the hotel fryed it. :weep: On the brighter side i can now justify spending $2300 on the new laptop i ordered not to long ago.

So until that one comes in i'll only be able to use the work computers. hopefully the new one will be here sometime this week.

on another note. is there anyway to save whats on my old computers hard drive.

As far as saving whats on the harddrive... o.o... I don't know. If it wasn't dead, then yes, there are lots of ways. XP... dead... I dunno.

yes, if you can take it to a comp repair shop and have them test it to see that the hd hasen't been fried as well you should beable to save any info on it.
