Well...one of sith's ladies planted the idea in his head and he mentioned it to me. From there our creative minds came up with a whole idea for the rpg that doesn't involve the boy wonder,or his parents,and barely involves the school either(in the grand scheme of things)

As for more information on the rpg,I can give you two lots of info.
First off the setting. We'll be 7th year pupils at Hogwarts with the rpg starting winter of 1969,placing us right between Voldemort and Harry's tenures at the school since Voldie finished in 1945 and Harry started 1990(Harry parent's started in 1971)This gives us some leway from plot facts and lets us have a dark atmosphere since it's known that Voldemort's rise spanned a decade of mistrust and dark acts
We'll use a fairly simple datafile format with some spells listed as well

Actually,in this rpg we'd be 17/18 year olds and only one wizard class would be a magician in the traditional sense of the word...
as for spell list,you can use most of the oens found here
http://www.mugglenet.com/infosection/spells/index.shtmlwith a few exceptions. A decent repetoire would be 8-12 spells for common use.I'll do some more work on my datafile and get it posted some time next week
