Avatar: Search for a hero

Water... Earth... Fire... Air. Long ago, the 4 nations lived together in harmony. The harmony of the world was kept in balance by the Avatar, master of all 4 elements. Each generation the Avatar is reborn into a new body and keeps the peace between the nations. However 100 years ago after the Avatar passed away his reincarnation never arose. The Fire Nation immediately took advantage of this and declared war against the other nations. Now almost a century later the Avatar as still not arose and war and violence have gripped the land. If the Avatar is not found the world will surely be consumed in violence and hate forever. Now warriors from the Air, Water and Earth Nations have set out in order to find the Avatar for he shall bring peace. However the Fire Nation has also sent out its own warriors, if the Avatar joins them then victory shall be assured. Now time is short and the final pieces shall come into play. Will the Avatar be found and if so, by who?

Characters:

Each nation is represented by warriors of incredible power by using a mixture of martial arts and mystical strength. These warriors are known as benders. Benders are warriors born with innate power to shape and wield their element in a display of great power that comes with years of practice and rigorous training. Bending is a style of combat that blends martial arts and elemental manipulation. The types of different benders are listed below.

Fire bending:
Fire benders are more capable in short range attacking. Fierce and ruthless. Lacking defense they have big variety of fire abilities. A kick can result to generating a burst of flames to the opponent. A firebender can punch a compressed fire punch outward to the opponent. If they fall the can produce a blazing fire spin to get back on their feet. The Firebenders are the only ones with engine running ships since ships run on coal and they need to burn that coal with firebending. Combining many firebenders together can result to a long range attack. They can shoot missels or fireballs at an opponent. Blasting and creating fire rings at the same time at the same target can take down the opponent fast. Firebenders are organized in their strategies. They will annihilate any nation that is in the way.

Earth bending
Earth benders levitates massive amounts of earth to hurl to it's opponent. Mighty and proud they are the second strongest nation. Muscular Earthbenders use the ground as their weapon to defend or attack an opponent. Earthbenders can hit the ground with their feet or hands to cause a chain reaction of earthquakes. Earthbenders can push up big slabs of rock to flatten an opponent. They can also create pitfalls for approaching enemies. Earthbenders can't bend man made material that has been smelted away it's natural properties
Water Bending:

Water benders can control water in it's three states, liquid, solid, and gas. Water bending techniques is to control the opponent but not to harm them. As like the element air, water is a defensive element. Waterbenders can suspend water from a water source and slash it at an opponent. They can also create powerful waves and engulf the opponent by dropping the wave upon them. Likely if a Waterbender is traveling on land there is no water source to help them defend themselves. As a result waterbenders carry a bottle or skin to contain the water in it. Waterbenders can also collect water from the air and ground. Waterbenders are very noble people just like the Airbenders. They would rather heal then harm

Air Bending:

Air bending is a defensive element. Air bending can defend against many blows from many directions. Airbenders are faster then any other bender. Airbenders enhance the air around them so they can control it. With this ability they can run faster by decreasing the air resistance in the area. Airbenders can fly by controlling the air and it's current. They can also jump to higher places by thrusting a gust of air upward jetting them up and then hovering for a moment to land. Creating an air resistant force to slow them down on their fall. Airbenders use a strong force of wind to defeat their opponent. They use a variety of Airbending attacks, counterattacks, and abilities. A basic strategy is to knock the opponent by his feet so he will fall. To confuse the opponent an Airbender will most likely circle many laps around the enemy in incredible speed to cunfused the opponent on where to attack. Changing directions is very good for evading. An Airbender can also create a massive Air like vortex to suck the opponent spinning him around and throwing him out to the ground most likely to be hurt. Common weapons used by the Airbenders are their staffs. A normal wooden staff that a glider can pop out. An Airbender can then use the staff as a physical weapon and a quick way for an escape. To control the glider an Airbender should generate an air current. They lack strong finishing blows. As they were taught conflict shall be avoided most as possible.

Characters should be one type. Let me know what ya’ll think.
