Title: looks like i'll be saying goodbye.

Teknoguyver - July 20, 2004 11:37 PM (GMT)
while chating on msn IM it was brought to my attention that the move to this new board was my fault as i was the one that came up with the idea to move to a new site to help sully out with board space sense he was alway crying about it and the rpg section was always at the forefront of said crying. belive me when i say i was as surprised as you were when he took to the idea the way he did.

now i'm one of the oldest rpgers for the guyver rpg's. i've come up with both good and bad ideas. and i mostly did things for the the rpg section from "backstage." heck i can still remember Scythe getting pissed at me for starting the data file thread for that rpg with out asking him first. lol. i can also remember the night i signed in after two month at boot camp to find time guard had gone insane. the first comady(sp) rpg for the board and it was never ment to be one in the first place. and yet it's one of the greatest rpg's the board had ever seen.

do any of you older rpgers remember how slow the board was to get started? man we were lucky to get a new rpg a month. now look at us we out grew our old board and have one of our very own! if anything that should make you old ones proud and you newbies have a chance to make your own history, new great rpgs, and the like.

i'm just sorry that i won't be apart of it any longer. it seems that there are some members of the board that hold resentment toward me for the move, among other things.

signing off for what may be the last time. :(

I don't know who holds it against you for the board moving but its kind of something that had to be done. Anyway if it was me, I wouldn't take that from them because moving the rpg's to another board was a nessecery action given that there was limited space, well either that or we convert them all to html, but that didn't look like it was happening. Although I suppose we'll probably end up needing to do that anyway for other reasons which is something I'll have to bring up later in another topic.

Dude! So a few ppl decided that they're gonna be ignorant. That's no reason to be giving up on this great pass-time! This is something that will be better for the rpg's and I personally COMMEND you for the idea. It is a great one, and I feel it will work out wonderfully. Don't give up on us just because a few had decided that they are too good for this.

BloodStorm - July 21, 2004 12:22 AM (GMT)
Well, If Tekno wants to leave, then it's his choice. It might be a bit immature. but it's his decision.

Besides.. I never said it was entirely you fault.. I just said we wouldn't have had to move so soon had you not presented your ideas to Sully when you did...
You have been pushing the new board to hard though.. simmer down for a couple of days, relax.. do something fun.. Then comeback.

Your still not getting a transformers rpg. ( And before anyone says that's off topic.. it's not. )

guyver 6 - July 21, 2004 12:54 AM (GMT)
dude its no big deal i am glad we got our own board we now have a much better time because it is us who decides everything. teckno i dont hate you at all i think you did us all a favor in your own way. Anyone who says anything against me about this is wrong because, its as simple as this we are now have no mysteries phantom posts, or board problems in general, and better yet we make our own rules that we all agree on as fellow rpg'ers.........

now bloodstorm tell me you dont admit i am atleast half right here......

Riven - July 21, 2004 06:04 AM (GMT)
Don't leave dude, I think its better that we have our own board for RPGing now. I'm personally glad you made the 'suggestion' to Sully because honestly all the problems that the WG board was having was starting to really grind my last nerve, I'm sure everyone else felt the same way.

Point is, you should be congratulated.

Kaiser Dragoon - July 21, 2004 12:02 PM (GMT)
Tekno you've been nearly as long as I have, and if you think that I'm going to let you get off the hook by leaving now....you are sooooooooo toast :bang:

We've been through good times and bad, but its always been fun, I still remember the time in The Gathering when Jehuty caught John running around the Abyss naked and had to knock some sense into him, well seems you could use some of that sloberknocking sense bashing now.

I believe everyone just has to get used to the new surroundings and then everything will be just dandy, yes I said just dandy :P So leaving won't help anyone, everyone enjoys your RPGs...before you drop it start another one

Either way, out of the respect I have for you I'll understand whatever decision you make, cheers :beers:
