Title: Xeno Terra
Description: Just to make it official

Sith Guyver - November 7, 2005 04:10 AM (GMT)
Xeno Terra

This RPG connects three well known alien Franchises: Aliens (Xenomorphs), Predator, and Guyver.

The time frame is in the distant future, one that holds little hope for humanity. Humanity has taken great strides in technological construction and advancement, but, we have still yet to truly explore outside of our little blue orb. The technology is on the level that is found in the movie aliens.

Yautja (aka. Predators) will have all the standard Weaponry and armor found in their possession throughout the movies.

Now

The question your all asking

“how does Guyver fit in?”

^_^ you see that’s the fun part. The Yautja created said bio armor to combat the Xenomorphs. Apparently some time in the distant past the Xeno infestation reached levels above Critical the warrant of use for the Guyver unit.

And what will the danger of this RPG be…………now that would be telling.

Basic strength statistics will be placed in the DF section along with the Basic Guyver data file for humans and Weaponry created for all the races.

I will leave it to Zero to inform you on all the character types available for play. Anyone with any questions may direct them to this thread of find me on msn via other lair members.

As a side note, this is not a new idea Zero and myself have spent the better part of two months creating statistics, weaponry, idea’s , and filling possible plot holes.

Definately looking forward to it. Keep us up to date when you can on it's progress.

Alrighty, thanks to the Kittygirl Riven for informing of this and so forth. Thank ya again amigos!

Now to the nittgritty, ne? The character specifications are rather..abundant, if anything else. But do remember, there are limited or "restricted" characters that need to be Oked for go and or cleared to be used. Below is the character "species" and classifications. The restricted ones will have two lil stars (**) next to them to simply point them out. Limited characters will have a single star next to the classification (*) to point them out. Limited characters are fairly accessable, although to much of a good thing can be a bad thing sometimes. As the RPG progresses, more of the Limited characters will begin popping up as more and more of them are needed.

Yautja Side:

Normal Yautja
-You can start at almost any type of level, ranging from unblooded, to Honored warrior. Elder, Arbitrator and Matriarchs must either be earned through the playing (Every time a Yautja hunts and kills something and takes it's skull, it does gain some amount of Honor..so pretty much Honor points.)

Boosted Yautja
-Boosted Yautja are very well Guyver based Yautja's, with a "diminished" unit and no Control Medallion. The ranking system for them is much different from a standard Yautja due to the increased senses, power and strength, thus making it harder for this Yautja to gain enough honor to progress to a higher level. For this; most Boosted Yautja start off as either Unblooded, YoungBlood or Blooded Warriors. Gaining Honored rank or higher would take much more effort and put the character in more drastic harms way.

*Guyver Yautja
-The Guyver Yautja are as the name states, full fleded Guyvers. They are indeed a limited character, but shall arise more as the RPG progress. Their "Honor" system is a step above the Boosted Yautja. Due to the drasticly increased strength and power, the Units are given to a select few. Whether it be by a Matriarch, Elder or the Arbitrators - this is basicly due to the paranoia of Bad Bloods. To be first acknowledged or put into the running of a Unit, the Yautja must complete three very, very specific tasks to prove that they are worthy of a Unit.

The first - Becoming a Blooded or higher ranked Yautja in the Clan and stay there (By "staying there," it means if challenge, the Yautja must accept any and all challenges and prevail honorably).

Two - Successfully and honorable aquire at least 1 Queen Xenomorphs skull (Normal, not boosted of Unit based. Two Queen Skulls will put that Yautja higher up on the selection list).

Three - The third and final test to be counted for a Unit is very well the highest of difficulties. The Yautja must spend and survive -Two- full days, a solid 48 hours upon Xeno Terra; Alone and Unarmed (Save for the Yautja's Mask, netmeshing to be able to survive the shifting climates and self destruction gauntlet). Once completed and retrieved successfully, the Yautja is given a specific branding to place it within the selection for a Unit. The tests themselfs are not limited to just the Male Yautja, but span to even the Female Yautja's as well.
-------
Xenomorph Side:

Normal Xenomorph
-Produced as you've all very well seen in the movies. Normal Queen or higher (to empress stage). The Xenomorph themselfs are different for each Host, inwhich damn near anything can be used. From Yautja, to Human, to Guyver based being or Boosted being as well as Animal life. However, remember - the Xenomorph takes the characteristics of it's host.

PredXeno
-These are the result of a Yautja being used as a Host, rather then a human or animal. Stronger and faster, more brutal then most other Xenomorphs that can be quite effective against hunting parties. At Base, they are about 2 to 3 times stronger then a normal Xenomorph and their Queen is roughly twice the size of a normal Queen.

Boosted Xenomorph
-Produced much like a Normal Xenomorph, however the Queen is a Guyver Queen (Albiet, she's generally weaker then what we have planned >.>). The Boosted Xenomorph, by all means are faster, stronger and smarter then their normal breathern. However - the draw back of these type of Xenomorph is quite simple. Their Hive Structuring means that the Guyver Queen acts as one massive Control Medal; in turn she is first and foremost, hidden away and surrounded by many royal guards and praetorians. If she dies, then the entire Hive goes rogue and inturn perishes in that very instance.

*Guyver Xenomorph
-These Xenomorphs are generally Queens or Praetorians. If a Praetorian obtains a Unit somehow, then usually it will evolve into a Guyver Queen and take over the spot as Hive leader. Which inturn means some Hives upon Xeno Terra will house both Boosted and Normal Xenomorphs. The Unit classification isn't limited to the type of Queen or Praetorian - however if a normal Xenomorph in a low caste (IE: Drone, Warrior..ect ect.) obtains a unit, it will then become Rogue and be swarmed by the Hive. If it survives, then it would have to contend with every Hive in the surrounding area, as well as operate by itself for survival.
--------
Human Side:

Normal Human
-Average. In all sense of the word, they are simply human. They are considered as cattle at the beginning for each character (unless they are an NPC or cleared for usage if Higher ranked). To become what's considered a Young Blood within the Yautja Society and Clans - they must survive a ritual hunting trial. Often being pitted against a single Yautja or several at once - ranging from Male and Female Yautjas. However, the Female Humans undergo different trials to become a member of a clan , if that clan is female mind you. If not and it's the standard Hunter Clan, then no true acceptions. Male and Female both undergo the trial to become a valued member of the Clan and obtain the status of Honored Prey.

Boosted Human
- Very well the same as a Boosted Yautja. A Human born from a Guyver based parent will have a diminished Unit with no control medal. Above Average strength and power, as well as senses. Their trials, unlike normal humans - are just that more difficult. They are not hunted by normal Yautja, but rather Guyver Based Yautja or Boosted - Mainly consisting of Honored Hunters, Elders, Arbitrators and Matriarchs. Again, for the clanship being Female Clan or Male Hunting Clan, the trials range and consist of the same outline of a normal Human.

*Guyver Human
- Classified as a Limited character due to the factoring the Human must prove themselfs twice over a Yautja to be even remotely considered to recieve a unit. If the Human proves to be useful in combat, pilotting, mechanic or scientist wise, the Human will be placed into the classification of obtain a Unit, however must still complete the trials. These trials, unlike a normal or Boosted human are to the maximum difficulty. Generally no less then 6 full Guyver Yautja will partake of such a trial to see if the human is indeed honorable enough and skilled enough to be trusted with a Unit. All aspects of this trial basis is geared towards the Yautja's favor then, from the conditioning, weapons chosen for the human if any and location of such trial. Once successfully completed, the Human will then be branded infront of the entire clan and be considered to the level of a Blooded Hunter.
-----------
Halfbreds Side
(Trials for the Halfbreds range depending on the mixture of species. The stronger and more unique the Halfbred, the more difficult and hazardous the trial and rituals will be. All Halfbreds have the chance to take and undergo the ritual to obtain a full unit, as well as allowed to be born Boosted and the like.)

Human Yautja
-These halfbreeds are generally from a Yautja and Human parentship, generally - more often then naught the offspring will resemble a Human, if not outwardly appear to be a human, but with a mixture of Yautja and Human blood, consisting of the usual neon green blood. However, the offspring must undergo a trastic and often fatal transition. Due to the blood mixture conflicting, the Human Yautja -must- go through a Blood Transfusion of which roughly only 10 percent are fully successful. If not, then the Human Yautja's maximum lifespan is between 17-25 years of age. Past that, the blood will then become highly toxic and outright kill the Human Yautja within a matter days, if not hours.

Yautja Human
- A Yautja Human is what the result of a successful Blood Transfusion brings about. In truth, the Yautja Human is indeed a full fledged Yautja - just with human flesh binding it. Unlike the Human Yautja whom has roughly only half of a normal Yautja's strength, a Yautja human has the full strength of a Yautja. With the blood Transfusion, the Yautja Human's body adjusts. Bones becoming stronger, muscles strengthening, sense of abundant honor coding. As well as following the normal Yautja mating cycles. Males, during of which become extremely competitive, as well as violent. Where as a Female Yautja becomes twice of it's already normal exceeding violent temperment and is prone to vivid, if not quite deadly moodswings (In all truth, just think of a human females PMS, then roughly times it by oh, 25 and give it the size and strength of a full grown Female Yautja..there ya go).

**Hive Child
-Hive Children, if anything else are Half Xenomorph and Half Human. They are indeed Restricted characters and must be cleared to play, as well as finding a plausible way for them to come about into existance. The Hive Child is generally roughly half the strength of a normal Yautja. This of course, does shift if the Hive Child is Boosted or full Guyver. They have acidic blood, and outright an immunity to most Xenomorphic blood. Due to the genetic mixture between Xeno and Human, generally they can sense other Xenos..and vice versa. Because of this - they are mainly used as decoys or recon, allowing a clear area for the Yautja and Human forces to land without much problems.

A Hive Child very well may endure some mutations, from tails, to Xenomorphic hyde forming, to limbs shaped and mimic normal Xenomorph limbs as well as the most common feature in a Xenomorph, their spike like spines. The draw back to playing the HC however is quite simple. They start with little to no status whatsoever - to the point they very well live in the gutters of the Clanships and have to scounge for scraps of food. This is due to the factoring the Yautja see them as abominations, crimes against Paya herself much like how they view a PredAlien. (Note: Think Ripley 8 from Alien Resurrection, but with increased strength, senses and mixture of instincts from both human and xenomorph genetics. Most of which, the Hive Child will or is born/created Rogue).
---
Synthetic Side
-Synthetics, in general are customizable from the Start, they range from Pilots, Mechanics, Medics, Weaponsmiths and so forth. The only Limited style of Synethic is combatic styled due to the factoring they have to be programmed with some extensive sentientism to perserve themselfs. Unlike humans, other Yautja or even the Halfbreds, they do not have to undergo any rituals or trials.
---

And there we go. Currently not exactly sure if that's all the catagories, but i'm sure it is. If not, then Sith can point out the ones I missed, if any. >.>..Enjoy!

Whoops..forgot to also point out, there are subcatagories for each area. If needed be, I will post those later and such.
