Riddick is a typical Yahtja, in that he has a strong sense of personal honour and a tremendous respect for the hunt. Yet he possesses a horrifically violent and pyschotic streak that dominates his personality. Thus he is a natural lone wolf and prefers to hunt on his own. He remains unblooded due to the nature that more experienced warriors will not take him out to prove his worth for fear of incurring his wrath, which he executes without any moral concious.
