Title: Can animals bear human children?

Back in the past a monkey (or ape or something) was injected with a human woman's eggs (or whatever the theme is). The human baby was being born inside the animal but animal activists attacked the labotory and I assume killed the mother before the baby was born. I wonder what would have happened if the baby had been born.

Would it have been a normal human? Would it have been a mixture? In anycase can animals grow human children? (With a little help from technology).

I for one would like to see a news report of this instance..

However crossbreeds of similer species can and do happen. Horses and Donkeys can crossbreed into Mules. A Horse has given birth to a Zebra Foal.. and Instances of Lions and Tigers mating and producing Ligers are not unheard of..
So similer species can breed togeather... Although the results are almost always sterile...

So theoreticly a man/monkey hybrid COULD work.. maybe..
Humankind is a little further apart from other primates on a genetic level than the examples above.. but I don't think it's impossable.

It was years ago...I think I saw it on the discovery channel, not sure. But before that I also saw a documentary about a unique animal it was much more human looking in appearance than a chimpanzee. It had long legs that could walk upright!!! As well as 4 fingers and I think a thumb. It was proven on a genetic level that it was infact not human. Unfortunate he didn't have a very good life. He disappeared (sort of) and many years later he was found in a laboratory. In the end he was taken and put in a zoo (or animal shelter not sure which) by the person that first found him (actually it might be the old couple that had him as a pet. It's been a long time since I saw it) and is taken care of properly. It's a pity he's probably dead now.

A lot of little details are probably wrong since it’s been so long since I’ve seen it. Good luck trying to find information online.

that other thing you mentioned, there's a novel thats based on fossels found that verified that those ones did exist at some point, but they never found any live ones.

I hate to break it to you, but when they did tests on that chimp, it ws proven that it was just a normal Chimp, sure it looked more human, but the DNA gave proof to the factr that there was nothing special about it, it didnt have any trace of human DNA in it. i remember that because they brought something up abotu it on the animal planet not to long ago.
