Why does everyone need to replace all words with a negative context in our language with some sort of psycho-technical talk?
http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk_news/story/0,...1532036,00.htmlWhen I read this article I couldn't help but think of Kururu from Seargant Frog who often says "That uncool word failure isn't in my vocabulary"
Yeah I am with ya Mr. Z Political Correctness can blow me for all I care about it, it is just this kind of crap that makes the whining sisies we all hate here. Some examples of this are (hey he can't tease me like that do something, hey, your wrong the whole world can get along, hey, why are you so negative, Oh you got a word wrong at the spelling bee it's okay we will just add it to the dictionary, Oh you speak broken/slang english a.k.a. Ebonics then we will just make it another language so that no one can tease you.) It is just this kind of assault on negativity that create the dreg of society with no education, no prospects, and even no understanding of the world outside their neighborhoods.
Oh and by the way if this proponent of 'defered success' really want's to help students she should, I don't know TEACH instead of creating excusses for failure (her's or her students.) This lady has obviously forgotten the failures she must have went through to become a teacher. Failingis so important to a developing child be it in sports, school, or whatever. We do not realize it when we are children but later on we see how much failure helped us get there.
That is precicely why I am against PC because it allows people to avoid adapting to become better people.
