i saw this toon on mtv2 and was wondering if u guys thought it would make a good rpg.....cause guyver could fit in easily i think but i wanna know what u all think of the idea



Galerians: Ash
The year was 2522. Michelangelo City was being operated and managed by Dorothy - a mother computer with revolutionary capabilities for self-judgment and self-replication. From high atop Mushroom Tower Dorothy overlooked the city, serving its citizens and ensuring that they could live their lives in peace and harmony. However, a fundamental doubt crept into Dorothy's mind.

"Why is it wrong to destroy humans and other inferior systems? Why, if humans kill each other, is it wrong for me to kill them?"

As these questions lead Dorothy's thinking into a downward spiral, she was taught of the existence of God by her creator, Dr. Steiner. He told her of how people's lives have a fate and destiny which are decided by the God which created mankind. He told Dorothy that her creators were humans, and that she must live as they have decided.

THE FAMILY PROGRAM
On the surface, it seemed like Dorothy had accepted this explanation, and once again she began to serve mankind. But unaware to anyone else, she carried out repeated simulations of the existence of a God, and she arrived at a terrible conclusion. The conclusion was known as the Family Program.

Dorothy began to experiment on the control of human genes to create the Galerians - a breed of humans with psychic powers, and a race for which she would be the sole creator and God.

Dr. Steiner became aware of Dorothy's behavior, and he developed both a virus program capable of destroying her and a program for launching the virus into her mainframe. Knowing her power and so fearing his own fate, he downloaded the virus program into the mind of Lilia, the daughter a co-researcher, and the launch program into the mind of his own son, Rion.

Dorothy discovered the existence of the programs, and dispatched her experimental humanoid Rabbits and the Galerian Rainheart to kill Dr. Reiner and his wife and kidnap Rion. Having him brought to Michelangelo Memorial Hospital, she attempted to eliminate the launch program from within Rions' head, but because of an abnormality programmed in her by Dr. Steiner she could not succeed. Dorothy decided not to kill Rion, but to use him to hunt down Lilia. Under Dorothy's command, a team of doctors at the hospital performed experiments on Rion, giving him psychic powers like the Galerians. They grossly underestimated the effect of the experiments.

"BE CAREFUL... OF YOURSELF..."
Rion awoke in the hospital without recollection of who or where he was, and soon realized he had psychokinetic abilities much like those of the Galerians. Escaping from the hospital, he was confronted by each of Dorothy's powerful Galerians as she struggled to bring him back under her control. He overcame them one by one: Rainheart, Birdman, Rita. As he struck them down, and discovered the truth about his parents in the process, the meaning of the words uttered by Birdman as he died - "Be careful…of yourself…" - slowly surfaced. His worst fear was realized in his battle with Cain, a powerful Galerian with Rion's physical likeness. As they dueled in Dorothy's Family Program Room, Cain revealed that Rion himself was a Galerian. That he was rendered by Dorothy after the real Rion had died. That his quest had been a struggle to destroy his own kind…and ultimately to destroy his own creator.

"I NEED TO SEE MOTHER..."
Reunited and armed with the full program, Rion and Lilia went back to Mushroom Tower to face Dorothy. At first she greeted them, praising Rion on his return for bringing back Lilia as she had commanded. Soon however it became apparent that, despite Rion's realization of the truth, he had decided that his fate was that of destroying Dorothy to protect Lilia and the humans.

Fighting against Dorothy's desperate last attempts to survive, Rion received the virus program from Lilia and executed the launch program, transferring it into Dorothy. Writhing in agony, Dorothy collapsed into pieces...

...and having executed the virus program, Rion's neural system shorted, crashing his brain and killing him.

Six years passed.

Rion awakens in the Family Program Room. There at his feet is Cain's corpse, preserved as if they had just finished battling. A voice calls to him. He turns to find Lilia.

"Did you just call me?"

"No," Lilia answers.

Something is terribly wrong. He senses Dorothy is alive.

"Let's go see Dorothy. I need to see mother..."

i am thinking i should talk to xenon about taking this idea and making it real

Hrmmm.. I dunno... with the move so recent, and all our current rpgs are still kinda slow from summoning sickness, or whatever.. Methinks that we should wait a while to make new rpgs, lest we risk taking even more attention from the current ones.

But hell, what do I know?
