Description: the game

Recently brought this game.
I wouldnt class it as one of the best action games in the world, but its still great game in my opinion, especially for those that are looking for a game that doesnt take forever to get use to the controls.
The gameplay is very smooth and loading between parts only takes like three seconds at most. The CGI movie scenes I can honestly say are the best CGI movie scenes I've seen in any game previously.
Plenty of things to unlock as well for the Multiplayer mode, including Motoko and Batou as playable characters, and a Tachikoma (love those things) and new costumes and stuff, and you can also unlock infinite ammo for your weapons.
The hand to hand combat system I think could have had a bit more variety, but other then that its a fun and great game for anyone I think.
Learning curve: Five minutes

ooh, I saw the anime, how would you rate the game staying close to the anime in translation and all that? And I think the Tachikoma are cute for a badass bot <.< they are so funny in the anime.

Well the game is set during the serise, I dont know chronicologically when its set during the serise though.
As for how close they stayed, I'm not entirely sure, I've only seen the movie and the first volume of the serise, but from what I can see they stayed true to Motoko and Batou's personality 100%.
As for the story of the game itself, it is its own story, a case that Motoko and Batou get thrown into. If it was animated and put into the show they'd probably cut it into two or three episodes. Its not significant to the serise really. I dont really know how else to explain it.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to buy a new one out of my next pay too.
The offical PS2 controller I have the shoulder buttons keep jamming up on me, which is bad when the weapon fire button in GitS is L1 ---_---

mine wont stay in analog mode, emaning I can't used the analog sticks for anything, and sometimes the controller dosent respond at all. Le sigh. Oh well, that thing lasted me about 6 years, I had an original system, should have just bought a new controller when I got it fixed last month <.<
Next pay? you mean you actually found a job? Whoo, congrats :P
