Title: Question

Doc ock - April 11, 2005 09:24 PM (GMT)
uh how do you start a rpg here do you just go ahead and post it or do you have to get permission?

BloodStorm - April 11, 2005 09:35 PM (GMT)
Feel Free to go ahead and post it.. although It oftian helps to make an interest thread ahead of times to let people know what the rpg is about in terms of powerlevel, recomended character types, and all that stuff..

But No, you don't need permission to start an rpg.. Most of the time.. there are a couple taboo topics even we have.. but as long as it's not something that most people would find offensive, feel free.

And if you have any questions, the admin are here to help.

As Blood said, usually people put up their ideas here to see if anyone's interested and if their sufficient interest they usually go for it. In that idea thread they usually outline characters that can and can't be used, max power levels and all those other nitty gritty details B)

yup, RPG's here tend to live or die. if there enough interest and the opening is well done then chances are your rpg will live. but to many rpgs are once and you it will most likely die before it starts.

Does anyone else see the irony in Tekno saying this now B)

Actually about 30 % of the rpg's live, and about 20% of the live ones usually are on life support until someone finnally pulls the plug. But who knows you might have a winner so why not give it a shot.

Basically just don't do anything that I wouldn't do and it should be fine. Before you start you might want to make a post in the discussion area that clears up some details about your storyline.
