Recently I have been playin an old game of mine called Legend of Dragoon. Now to those of you who don't know or remember this game I shall tell you about it now. Legend of Dragoon is an old PSone game from 1998 for it's time its graphics were great and stunning. The sound and Music were well done, and the story was wonderful dare I say better than some of the RPG's being pushed on us now. The combat system was very original and required you to pay attention and memorize teqniques. Now I know what you are thinking this sounds like Xenogear, but your wrong it is different in it execution of the attacks. I won't spoil it for you, but I will say this athough the graphics by todays standards are a bit dated it is a superb game and any fan of RPG's would enjoy this game.

I had a friend who played LoD, it's a cool game, i havent been able to find it anywhere so i cant play it myself.

I own this game and it is by far one of the best and original RPG games ever played to date in my opinion. B) :beers:

A also have a copy ^^ In fact, this was either the first, or second game I ever got...

Anyways, if you can find a copy, get it. I highly suggest it. It has alot of great features I've not seen in an rpg before, and It's lots of fun to play too :beers:

Well Right now I am at the Phantom ship, so I have a ways to go. Oh and by the way there are some cinimatics in the game that in my opinion is on par with a lot of rpgs on the market right now. Not better mind you but they can still compete.

Aye that Dragoon vs Wingly bit with those creatures the Winglies use, someone remind me what they're called, and the Dragons was amazing, pity you can't watch it over and over again unless you'ved saved just before it :(

The creatures the winglies use are called Virage Kaiser. Another Mr. Know it all moment for the intrepid Weltall2.

I have LoD and I beat the game too :P I still thing the Divine Dragoon should not have been so bulky. I loved the story also. Im not going to gt in to detail so if anyone wants to paly it and does not want the story ruined. They are making a part two right now. Its in the production stages and has lots of potential.

Nice to hear about a sequal though, but I heard rumors that it was going to be more of a prequel hint hint can you say Dragon campaign.

That would be good and all, but they already told the outcome of the dragon campain. It would be pointless to play it. I want to see the winglies try and start another war!

It could be the prequel to the actual Dragon campaign but I'd like to see a fresh sequel with new characters commanding the Dragoon spirits :beers:

True Astro but we do not know much about the backround of the original Dragoon's. And I for one would like to see more of that.

A movie would be better, But playing throught the dragon campian would not be as fun since rose tells the story to you and darts father is one of the original dragoons. I can see yah's going "No, dont trust him. He's evil" throught the game.

Okay still reading good. During the last battle of the dragon campaign Zeig was imprisoned in a spell of stone by Melbu Frahma, 11,000 years later Zeig married Clair had a son named Dart at some point during this period Neet was attacked and Zeig and Clair went down to fight the Black Monster. Now what Zeig did not realize was that Melbu cast another spell on his Dragoon Spirit. The spell sealed in Melbu's soul until someone activated the DS. Zeig not knowing this activated the DS and Melbu possesed Zeig's body.

Just got this game the other day, unfortunately my PS2's still out for repairs, But i'll beable to pick it up tommorow so i can play it.... finally.

Good for you WZ You will enjoy it I can almost gaurentee it ! Now I have to warn you the game play visuals may seem a bit dated compared to some stuff but as I said before the story and character development are top notch.

the nice thing is, the game is guaranteed to work because I bought it new, fresh out of the packaging, all original seals intact. I know this game place that tries to get in older games in new condition and they happened to have two copies of it.

I got one question, I was reading through the manual and it mentioned StarDust............... what's it for?

If you collect enough of it throughout the game you can get unique items I believe, so always search around for it B)

WHOO just got My PS2 back.... time to kick some dragon ass <.<



EDIT: It took me four hours to finally get the ability to transform into a Dragoon... gotta admit, interesting thing.
