The sewer stunk to say the least. The 17th unit, reconstructed by Zero himself, trudged through the sludge and filth, making their way to the water treatment plant. It had been a hastily prepared operation, what with Neo Arcadias sudden pollution of the water. Several humans and Reploids had been harmed by the poisonous water and Ciel didnt want to dig into the rations to deep, so they were dispatched only two days after the first incidents of sickness occured. Belgore had been appointed leader of the task as he seemed to have an intimate knowledge of the Arcadian plants architecture. In fact, Belgore seemed to know alot about Neo Arcadia. But still, so did alot of other Reploid refugeees. Still, Zero was a bit suspicious. Wrapping his tattered brown cloak tighter about his body, he pulled out the Z-Saber, it was a relic to say the least, constructed back in the 20th century. Still, its potential had never been fully realized due to his black box systems and Zero honestly hoped one day he would see the perfect form of this once formidable weapon. Stopping in front of a blast door, Zero's ancient energy saber flared to life, casting an emerald glow about the group. His dark eyes moved over each of them. Though hastily assembled they were the best for this job. It kinda reminded him of the original Irregular Hunters he and X created to fight the Mavericks, back when they really were Mavericks. Looking to Belgore he recieved a nod and then cut the doors hinges off with the Z Saber. Pulling it open the groups stepped inside. "Everyone ready?" Zero questioned as he pulled the cowl like wrapping of his cloak down now that they were out of the sewer.


OOC: This is where you all start. Happy hunting and good luck with this new stat systems.

Belgore took a step forward into the underground chamber the group had found themselves in and did a quick look back and forth across the small room they were in, and nodded to himself, finding lacking obvious defences "Allright, So we're in.. This will be our fall back point if things get too rough.. which might very well happen.. Remember what we're here for" He said to the collected bunch and he turned to face them. "Expect low powered oppisition, but higher numbers... While this is an important facility, it's not one that would warrent maximum possable defences.. Non the less, keep your optics peels in case of danger."

The boxy reploid looked over the collected troops again, personally hating the fact that he found himself responcible for these people, but he couldn't fault Zero's choice in his own knowlage of such places. "We'll cover more ground if we split up.. and since I'm not in the mood to take turns with Zero here choosing who I'll take to die, then we can skip the gradeschool level of team assignment. Those of you to the left of that guy" He said, pointing at some reploid or another he never bothered learnng the name of "Come with me, Everyone else is on Zero's detail.. Zero's squad will concentrate of clearing base defences while My group will focus on the primary objective.. Any questions?"

"...Any questions?" Belgore asked in a serious manner.

Blaze, who had been standing off to the side smirked slightly to himself as he stood there. His appearance wasnt all that different from Zero's, though of course they didnt look exactly the same, Blaze only looked like the legendary hero at first glance, his design however was different enough to set him apart from Zero and other reploids. When taken a closer look out, it was clear that Blaze was more streamlike then most reploids, designed for speed.

"Yeah I got a question" he said, causing Belgore to turn to him. "Do we get hazard pay out of this?"

That got a small chuckle out of everyone, but if Belgore found it funny, he sure did a good job of hiding it.

"If you think this is a joking matter, then you can turn around and head straight back" Belgore told him.

Blaze suddenly had more serious look as he looked at Belgore, and smiled a little darkly.

"Don't very big guy, I take this serious enough" he told him. "Shall we get this party movin then?"

The reploid form of Venom came into view as the shadows amongst the sewer manholes above them. Yet his face was still concealed within the darkness. His sharp features became more pronounced by the edges of the shifting points of light.

His eyes illuminated the shadows as he raised his head and took note to what Zero had said, completely ignoring the others comments entirely. He have the slightest bow of readiness and his fingers gripped firmly around his Triple Rod.

The crimson red energy of the weapon began to shimmer to life to expose the face of Venom. "Well then," his words were callous, cold, and firm. "Ladies first." His eyes had a dark twinkle as he looked at the other team with a smirk forming at the corner of his mouth.

As Zero and Venom the other two members of his team sat waiting a third reploid sat in rigid patience as if honed by absolutely discipline, although if it were it was as unknown to him as it was to anybody else.

After fighting with some of Neo Arcadias lackeys after bounding onto a low roof of an abandoned building the reploid had wondered round for a while until he stumpled into a fight with the resistance and Neo Arcadia, when they fired at him there was no reason not to retaliate and from there after being severely checked out by the resistance he just kind of bleed into there ranks. He thought about how they picked him up after the fight was done, after cutting through the sorte of troops he could have easily left but with no idea of what to do or where to go staying was the only conclusion he had.

The resistance still probaly didn't put a lot of faith in him in terms of trust, perhaps the only reason he was here was because he followed orders without complaint and knew how to get through a fight while making sure the enemy had the highest fatality count, apart from that there wasn't much else he knew about anyway.

As allies shifted round him he knew it was getting closer to the point when they made they're move. He stood up in preparation, his built a solid well rounded frame but clearly meant for mobility and flight of foot while not dropping too low on other aspects. He was plated by a basic sturdy armour mostly grey/light blue, while a dark blue almost black colouration ran down his spine. His calculating optics turned looking round and then sharply two faceplates slid down from each side of his built on helmot sealing for what passed as a battle mask. Plain with nothing but a visor like peice running straight along where the optics would be behind it and from the midle of that an identical peice coming straight down.

Nodding to the others, Zero waved his team forward, it was time to get this mission underway. The hallways seemed mostly empty, save for a few cameras which were swiftly dispatched. The facility itself seemed completely unmanned. The only sound in the dimly lit hallways was the dull thumping of their boots on the marble floor. "This seems to easy..." Zero muttered to himself, adjusting his cowl like cloak fixture again to cover most of his face. Opening a door out into the main Courtyard of the facility they were greeted by a battalion of Partheons, most equipped with the close range stun blades on their right arms. A few Buster Gun equipped onces were lining the walls of the courtyard readying a sniper assault. " You were saying?" Muttered Incognito.

"BREAK!" Yelled Zero as he dashed off to the side, mini thrusters on his boots kicking in for a split second to launch him forward. Burying his Z-Saber in the chest of a Partheon he roughly brought it up, ripping the Partheons head off its shoulders.(10EXP) Spinning around he shoved his boot onto anothers head threw it back into its brethren. Gripping his Z-Saber Zero charged it up and hurled it into the crowd of Partheons near a wall. The saber hummed and grew, violent flames of emerald power rushing out of it as it impaled a Partheon to a red barrel which promptly exploded, taking out three others with it.(10*2=20*3=60 EXP for Overkill.) (1SP+3*2=7SP).

"Someone get onto the wall and grab that Plasma Turret, Aim for the explosive barrels in the corners!!" Yelled Zero as he leapt into the air and caught his Saber which had bee thrown into the air during the blast.

Belgore's team had left Zero's and went down the oppisate side of the hallway as thier allies. Belgore's keen optics kept alert for any sign of trouble. "It's quiet.. too quiet" He muttered to himself, as the only sounds they heard were the heavy thuds of his massive armored feet and the softer steps of the others..

He pulled his chainrod out of the pack he carried it in. It was a weapon he picked up off the corpse of some solider months back, he felt he needed a close ranged weapon, and the original owner didn't have need of it anymore.. He happed he didn't need the weapon, but realised it would be much better suited to indoor combat than his cannons.

He shrugged off the growing feeling of encroaching doom he oftian felt in a Neo-arcadian facility and stepped up to a door on the side, motioning for everyone else to stop. He put his ear to the door to listen inside, and heard the telltail signs of weapons being redied.. evidently the Partheons in the room had heard his heavy footfalls and were likely preparing for an attack.. He looked to the rag tag group he was leading, then nodded slowly.

He closes his eyes and activated the IceChip he carried, and felt the surge of power as his IceWave came online. He never realled liked ice, he had always preffered the raw power of a lighning discharge to ice.. but the icewave had it's uses. A pale icy sheen grew over his eyes, and the barrels of his cannons began to chill the air around them, forming an icy mist. He kicked down the door infront of him, Mechanical mind quickly acessing the situation even as the first shots rang out against him, but the feeble blasts didn't even scratch his thick armor.

Directly inside the room was a small flight of stairs, and all the Parthenon was on the floor below. With a grunt, one of his cannons fired a shot upwards, rupturing a waterpipe so that it began to flood the room with water, and he began to charge his cannons for a second as the parthenons were momentarily distracted by the falling water that had allready pooled up to thier knees. He let the charge go, and a massive shockwave erupted from both barrels. The blast was enough to shove Belgore back a couple inches dispite the gyros flaring to life to counteract the recoil.. but it did it's job. The massive icy shockwave had frozen all the water in the room, even the the water that had just been falling from the pipe, leaving a huge pillar of ice reaching up to the ceiling. But all five Parthenon in the room were totalled, they had been caught directly in the blast. Those that weren't instantly torn apart from the concussive shockwave of the blast now stood as statues, weapons raised in preperation for another shot that would never come. He deactivated his chip and icewave, then descended the stairs, his team following behind him in hushed awe at what he had accomplished in less time than it had taken them to prepare to rush in.

"If you guys aren't carefull, the enamy could do even worse to you what I just did here" he said to them, then he kicked one of the frozen statues with his foot and it shattered to peices. "Say frosty"

OOC: EXP time.
Belgore's charged shot did Blast damagex2, peircing damage, and ice damage. It was a deffinant overkill on all five parthenon.. so here's how we go
#1. 10xp (base) x3(overkill) x3(three types of damage) =90. Current exp total=100. (LevelUp)
#2. 8xp (exp is lower becuase of higher level) x3x3 =72. Current exp 172.
#3. 8xp x3x3 =72, Current Exp 244. (LevelUp)
#4. 5xp (exp is lower due to levelup) x3x3 =45 Current exp 289
#5. 5xp x3x3 = 45. Current exp 344.

I'm still not sure about the stylepoints, or if this would warrent them.. so i'll leave that blank.

Remember kiddoes.. when you levelup, ALL your gauges double, includng the exp needed to reach the next level.
You also get one * at every levelup. Since Belgore is now level3, he gets 2*, his gauges are all increased, and his next level will come when he reaches 400xp.

Hopefully this post will help out some of you who're still a little fuzzy on the exp thing.. I know it helped me.

While Belgore enters the room and slaughters a squad of Parthenons, the Hau Water Dragon Shi Tau enters through the same exit that Belgore entered forth. Her light blue cape drapes down from her heavy shoulder guards and down to her ankles of her boots. To ensure her face isn't reckonized at first, she wears a helmet that goes all over her face aswell. A yellow ball glows on the mask as it acts as her 'eye'. She surveys the damage that Belgore has brought upon, looking up to see the pillar of ice that he has made for the team to climb up.

She smiles under her helmet as she quietly says, "How convinient.... Great work Belgore, this will make things a little easier." She then starts jumping up the ice pillar, her heavy boots having good grip on the ice as she moves quickly up, knowing time is short for everyone. She moves up to the third deck when she sees a pair of parthenons trying to overwhelm her, only to find themselves slice in two as she immediatedly blows a heavy blow with her Heavy Beam Saber. (10 XP x 2 Kills= 20 XP)

She looks forth, ensuring no more direct threat are within the vicinity before she sheathes her beam saber and waits for Belgore to arrive. Once Belgore arrives within her vision, she turns around, smalling her hand to her chest as she speaks in a deep voice, "Shi Tau, Galloard of Water and the Hau Water General at your service!"

OOC: I feel like a complete idiot now, but I finally figured out the system, I'm sorry for causing any problems Chris, really I am, and I do feel like a moron, especially since even a five year old shouldnt have made the mistake I did :$

"......Hau Water General at your service!"

Blaze looked at Beloge. "She wants you Belgore" he said with a small smile of amusement.

At that moment though a door on the far side of the room burst open and three Parthenons piled in.

Blaze smiled viciously as he looked at them, then back at Belgore. "Talk with the lady big boy. I'll take care of these ones."

The speed reploid shot forward, rushing between Belgore and the Water General, unsheathing his chain rods as he did and activating them at the same time. He dodged to the side as one of the Parthenon managed to get off a shot and with the flick of the wrist he sent the tip of one chain rod flying forward. The energy whip smashed its way through the robots head, causing it to go limp almost instantly, at which point Blaze flung the reploids body around in a complete circle and smashed it into a second Parthenon which smashed to pieces, along with the first one.

Blaze pulled the first whip back and with a devilish grin he locked his gaze on the last Parthenon and with a loud battle cry he sent both whips racing through the air, crossing over one another in mid air and forming an "X" before they hit the Parthenon, and slice it apart, falling apart in more then a couple of pieces.

Blaze deactivated the chain rods and looked over his shoulder at Belgore, his look suddenly somber. "If you two can talk and walk at the same time it would be appreciated, not all of us want to be here all day."

OOC: I'd love to say Riven but I'm pretty fucked up when it comes to caluclating myself so I'm kinda hoping soemone will check mines aswell. Ps I just remembered something, how does our Weapon Gauges get refilled?

IC:
Incognito took a sprint for the Plasma Turret blasting away with the Buster Gun built into his left arm to provide himself covering fire but the partheons knew he was going for it and were laying down a hail storm of projectiles at him forcing him to get cover.

He didn't want this fight to drag on, they had a purpose here and this was only helping to slow them down. He took his motions to heading back along is path fireng off two shots that caught a partheon blowing it ground putting it out of the fight and fired two more accurately aimed shots that both impacted one in the head blewing it to peices.

With a final dive he landed beside Venom, "Stay rigid". The more powerful framed reploid didn't catch what he meant till Incognito took a few paces back and ran kick launching himself off Venoms head. His fast built frame carried him quickly ahead from his launch off and in the air he started laying ramdom shots from his Buster Gun to try give himself more room while he came down while in his right hand appeared his triple rod. As he finished the small salvo like burst the triple rod extended and he polevaulted the extra distance coming clean to the ground eliminating one with a quick cross slash from both ends of the weapon as it shortened to a similiar height as Incognito. The reploid turned delivering a sideways kick to give himself more room and looked towards two that were coming towards him from the explosive barrels that Zero called to be hit earliar with hte plasma turret. He may not have been able to do it thn bt he could fix that now.

One end of the triple rod charged up as Incognito made a lancing type move but kept grip, the triple rod extended it's maximum reach and speared clear through one partheon with ripping force before hitting the other behind it and striking the barrels causing an explosion. The blast caught three partheons too close for there own comfort aswell as clearly dispersing the peices of the two already impaled as the triple rod shortened back and in good timing. As it came back to a more managable length the Partheon that was kicked back was on Incoqnito as it took a swing with it's stun blade but he brought arms back holding the triple rod with both hands blocking it before turning it's torso round in the leaned back position alowing him to slice at the inner elbow area of the arm holding the stun blade. As he came back to a standing position he launched out with a revolving kick vollying the limp arm into the Partheons face.

As it dropped from it's own weapons effect Incognito put his foot on it's chest and brought his left hand round to fire his buster gun at it's head finishing it before moving off to try get the Partheons on on the courtyard walls making two quick hits on a Partheon as he passed it dropping it in a cleanly sliced heap.

A horrific look of deepseated rage quickly vanished from Venom's face as his grip upon his Triple Rod tightened to the point where it would have crush any normal human's neck. His eyes quickly focused on the nearest Partheon, then shifted quickly to the railing which would take him through the heart of more Partheon pawns.

With a smirk he sprinted forward, the first Partheon turned to attack only to receive his Triple Rod lance through it's chest and topple over with the large Rod sticking out of it's twitching torso like a twisted grave like totem. It's body twitching in death as the silent Venom streak by and removed the Triple Rod as though the Partheon had never been a concern to him.

As Venom began to calculate the velocity and timing for the rail slide three Partheons jumped in front of him to block his path. The reploid did not faulter in his continuing sprint as he brought the Triple Rod back and energized it for a powerful Charged Arc that vaporize their pathetic forms as he swung it across their bodies. At the eve of their frail bodies exploding from the force of the impact Venom leapt into the air, he piggybacked the sudden concussive force from the explosion to land perfectly upon one of the railings.

His forward momentum provided ample force to allow Venom to slide down it, impaling four Partheons on his Triple Rod while he beheaded three more with his Sabre Claws extended from his other hand and laughed coldly as their bodies twitched and spasmed without a head before finally exploding. He turned back to see the railing come to an end, but also noted one of the exposed circuit breaker and with a tremendous show of force, flung the Triple Rod, which automatically shut down it's own power supply as to not overload it and turned the Triple Rod itself into a rather long conductor rod.

The Partheons screamed as the rod impaled itself into the breaker and began to electrify the four of them. Their bodies thrashed around as tremendous amounts of electrical energy rushed through their systsems, overloading all safe-guards and backup systems. The fantastic lightshow was over within a few seconds, as their bodies, like ashen corpses, flaked off the Triple Rod. Venom approached his weapon and with a bit of smirk suddenly spun to impale his claws upon another sneaky Partheon. "Just what I needed." He hissed and the Partheon trembled in pain and horror as Venom slammed the Partheon sideways into the circut breaker with a terrific throw, dislodging the Triple Rod but once more electrocuting the cannon fodder. "Smells like chicken." He smirked as he breathed in and turned to take on even more Partheons with unholy zeal.

IC:
Incognito moved closer to the courtyard wall cutting through the last couple that were close to him. He crossed one cutting it down the torso and leapt in a front flip going over it and finished off with a swinging cut as he landed and kept running. The Triple rod closed in at one end so only side was extended coming from the front of his hand. it was like he was holding a stick with a blade attached at the end, with precision cuts, he reached out swinging giving one cut and flipped round in a turn giving another chop. The Triple Rod returned to normal used length as the Reploid started moving again and from the buster gun he fired a shot at the Partheon in front of him which caught it dead on and was finished off as he leapt forward in a jump and the triple Rod extended stabbing the Partheon as it reached the ground and he polevaulted up as it reached maximum length, his speed was such that to the three Partheons it had only been a mere moment and none had the chance to comprehend what hit them.

The Polevault went as far as it could go upwards and Incognito leaned forward for the wall as the triple Rod quickly shortened and he stabbed one end of it into the wall so it looked as if he was hanging from a bar pocking out from the courtyard wall. The reploid put his movmenet to quick and sharp use and he flipped up but kept grip of the Rod pulling out of the wall before stabbing it again as he gained height from the flip. In no time at all from a series of fast paced consecutive flips he had completed a full scaling of the wall.

IC:
Incognito pushed forward as a drove of them came at him and he did a cross slash, moving left and then right cutting at one dropping it before moving ahead fast to a group of three all fireing Buster guns at him, with his speed though he was able to dodge it all as he approached, three simply not enough to land a hit on him. As he got within distance he made his move and dashed to the center of them flipping forward and rotating sideways simutaniously bringing his triple rod round in rotational attcks before returning to his feet. The three Partheons dropping.

As the other three dropped another Partheon came forwards and took a swing with a stun blade it had but it was no match for Incognitos speed as he easily stepped to the side and with two quick strokes sent it down. The reploid took sprint now as he covered the wall walkway from clearing it of any Partheons fireing down at the others in the courtyard. Incognito spotted the Plasma Turret close to him and he took speed for it when three Partheons got in his way, as he attacked he noticed a circuit breaker behind them and charged his Triple Rod up stabbing at the one in front before wrenching the weapon back and going with the momentum into a rovelving side kick that smashed the one he stabbed back colliding with his two allies before they all hit the circuit breaker and it blew taking the three with it.

With no more distractions Incognito made way for the Plasma turret and brought his buster gun to bare fireing two shots and blowing the Partheon that was mounting it's controls to smitherins. As he pushed the refuse out of the seat he made himself comfortable and grabbed the controls.

In the Courtyard two doors just on the other side away burst open and a horde of Partheons came rampaging in, obviously the backup but the plasma turret swiveled and aimed for them before letting loose with it's salvo of death and started cutting them down to peices, immediately two were ripped to shreds as they didn't know what happened and the others dived for cover but instantly a small trio behind some loose protection got it aswell, it may have stood up against another weaker firearm but the plasma turret tore through it and them aswell as all equal to it's ferocity. The Turret started to turn picking off two that ran for cover as one had it's limbs blew off while the other just exploded as a shot hit him.

The Turret passed onto a larger stronger pile of cover as a group of four hide behind it but as the heavy mount cut into it began to topple down on them eliminating them all. As Incognito passed his sideways scan of the whole courtyard he got to a large remiander of the barrels and a clattering of Partheons numbered five scattared from it as it blew takin them all to hell in a fiery furnace. As the barrels exploded Incognito swung the turret back up to his own level as three partheons emerged and started fireing at him only to be blown to peices by the terminal firepower of the plasma Turret. Incognito brought teh colossial weapon to a pause as he loked round for moreopen partheons, he didn't want to hit any that were close to Zero or Venom incase a stray shot came at hthem, the turret was powerful and heavy and precise aiming wasn't it's forte.

What was left of the Partheons in the courtyard faded away into hiding or cover. It seemed like they had secured the courtyard for the most part. All the trio need do is keep the enemy forces pinned long enough for Belgores team to purify the water and get it flowing to the resistance base again. Zero beheaded two Partheons still on the wall and kicked them over the edge.(2wp, 20 EXP)

"Things look.." Zeros words were cut short by a shudder from the earth. Taking a step close to the walls edge he looked over the blackened ground and crumbling walls. Placing two fingers to the side of his helm, Zero commed Belgore. "Status, now! What was that quake about?" Static...nothing but static in his headset. With a frown growing on his features Zero motioned for Venom to cover the other side of walls while Incognito remains with the turret. "Dont overdo it! Those turret barrels overheat easy!" Zero yelled to Incognito.


Meanwhile

"You're positive that toy can handle them?" Queried Commander X from within the darkness of his personal chambers.

"Hee hee hee, My pet can handle those children, but Zero and the traitor may be a problem" Giggled the Water Adept general, Leviatan.

"You test my patience, not a wise deicion little girl. General or not you have proven to be no match for Zero in the past." Hissed Commander X, his eyes shimmering a dangerous red.

Incognito nodded in response hearing the advice from Zero, but before he stopped fireing entirely he swiveled the gun round again to blast at a group of six about to come through a passage round the walk way from him, being fired more controlled now it's short burst gunned down and scattered the peices of four who just weren't quick enough to get cover but two darted avoiding the shots. Incognito winced in annoyance, he didn't want to fire the turret anymore than he had to especially with something coming and he knew it.

Quickly he jumped from the controls and ran to the walk ways turn before fireing off a cluster of shots from his Buster Gun. Turning round fast he made his way back to the Turret but a group of 4 had apparantly been waiting for that and planned the distraction. As he ran forward he picked one off with the Buster Gun and extended his Triple Rod doing a series of two stroke crosses eliminating two more. When it was just the one left Incognito turned to his side and lashed out with a focused kick that volleyed the partheon onto the blown circuit breaker electrocuting him before he dropped well crisped.

The reploid got back to the Plasma Turret and started to quikly check it over, if he could find a small catch for the primary casing he could take that off for a minute to help with cooling it down and snap it back on fast when that thing got here........

Venom did as he was instructed and made his way to the far wall, as he did so he slashed apart another six Partheons with his Triple Rod. Each collapsed, decapitated in various places, mostly vertically from head downward, the occasional horizontal slash and one or two diagonal sweeps.

He quickly braced himself against the wall, Triple Rod energized and ready to dismantle more Partheons if they should come his way. He tapped the side of his spiked helmet while peering around the corner in order to time his next move. "Hey Zero, what the hell was that all about? Haven't eaten in a while or something?"

He smirked before Zero could snap back a reply as he dropped to his knees and as the first Partheon ran past he drove his Sabre Claws into it's foot then launched it skyward with a thunderous uppercut that caused it's head to explode in the process.

As another rounded on him he kicked it hard in the chest before smashing his Triple Rod through it's chest and flinging it into another uncoming squadron, knocking them all aloof. As they reorganized themselves they all let out a shriek of terror as the less then friendly looking form of Venom descended upon the group of five and tore them all apart with minimal difficulty. He turned and vaulted the distance back to the wall with the aid of his Triple Rod to return to his assigned wall, smirking with satisfaction that even more Partheons would eventually be caught in his trap.

Venus let out sigh disappointed she didn't get at any of the enemys yet.

"If you two can talk and walk at the same time it would be appreciated, not all of us want to be here all day."

"Thats right, don't mentions me, I'm just a reject." Venus said in a mock sad voice bumping shoulders with Blaze as she passed.

In the corrodor where the last three partheons came out Venus saw a few more coming out of a door. Venus activated her Triple rod and rushed down the hallway. She rolled under the incoming shots, and jumped to the wall hopping off it it right at them. She raised her an arm sheilding her from a few shots and made a Charged Arc slicing threw four Partheons in one swipe. Then she hopped to the side avoiding another shot and split a Partheon in half while the Arc was still going. She kicked another one and it was shot in the back by its own ally as Venus cut threw him.

Ducking under another shot Venus sweep a Partheon off its feet and kicked it into the last three. The groped landed near a thick power cord and Venus dashed foreward and plunged her rod threw the head of one partheon and the leg of another into the cord. Venus jumped back as the last two partheons got up and there buddys were electrictrified. A shot from Belgore destroied one of them and Blaze caught up and cut down the last quickly.

"And your name is?" asked Shi Tau

"Huh? Umm... it may be Venus" Venus said looking at her rod queerly as it was in the power cord. Then the ground shook and the lights went out for a momment, but Venus did grab her rod then.

"Huh? What was that Zero?" Belgore asked over the comm. "...Lets hurry this up."

Impaling two more Partheons Zero flung them into the courtyard before rounhouse kicking another over the railing of the wall, catching its head between the railing and his boot, he ripped it off using the Partheons own weight. Whipping around, Zero was startled by a shock rod armed Partheon who prompty took an upward stab at the crimson hunter, burning into his abdomen before Zero crushed its head in his bare hands. "Not a word.." Zero hissed at his companions.Looking at the remains of the Partheon he pried loose a small glowing red sphere. Smirking, Zero cracked it open and released the Cyber elf inside. The little red combat type backflipped and landed on Zero's shoulder, spinning a pair of twin handguns.

"Names Dante, thanks for freeing me old man. Heres a bonus for you and your crew" That said the little Cyber elf vanished, a red glow encompassing the weaponry of Zero, Venom, and Incognito.

[Weaponry Evolution] The Cyber Elf Dante, a combat model Cyber Elf gives you one of three permanent options.
Option1: Close combat weapons such as swords, rods, and chains can emit small projectile blasts when the user it at full health.
Option2: Automatic weapon level up.

Still clutching his wounded abdomen, Zero kicked the Partheons body into the air and then diced it in half, dropping his Z-Saber and palm striking the two halves into a small group of Partheons advancing on him. Grabbing his saber as the tip burnt into the concrete walkway, the crimson hunter lunged forward, tearing his saber through the ground and eventually in a wide arc outward, severing three partheons into bits an pieces as the blade flared wildly as before, blasting the bits of the Partheons into scrap.

It was then that a gentle laughter filled the air, a young woman in blue armor and carrying an oversized and rather large lance walked into the courtyard. She had what looked like fins on either side of her helmet. Obviously extra armor. Planting the lance on the ground she blew Zero a kiss and then pulled out her buster gun, blasting the Plasma turret so it couldnt be used against her.

"Everyone fall back!" Yelled Zero into the headset. That girl was Leviatan, one of Commander X's generals.

Blaze ran down a corridor, a head of the others, his chain rods in hand ready to be activated at moments notice. A Parthenon burst through one of the many doors that lined the corridor and attacked him, but he activated a whip and flung it around, removing the reploids torso from the rest of his body, before deactivating his whip and continuing onward without stopping once.

As he continued on he saw six Parthenon's charging down from the other end firing blast after blast at him. Blaze skillfully avoided the shots, ducking and rolling and rebounding off walls before dlunching at the group, swinging his chain rods around before sending the bladed tip rushing at them. Both tips rushed past the lead Parthenon and bit into the heads of the two on either side of the first one. Blaze manipulated the chain rods, causing each length to "swap" sides on either side of the first Parthenon's neck, and before it had the chance to comphrend what was happening, Blaze had pulled the the lengs taut and removed its head.

Blaze deactivated his chain rods for a second before reactivating them and attacking the three remaining Parthenons. He suddenly charged one of the chain rods, the blades glowing furiously, before he performed a spinning attack, sending the length of the chain rod slamming into the sides of the three remaining Parthenons and slammed into the wall all at the same time, the charged attack causing a small explosion of light as they were blasted into itty bitty little pieces.

A few seconds later Blaze was running down the corridor again, finally coming to the end of it, where a closed door awaited him. He didnt stop though, he waited until the right time and jumped at it, planting a powerful kick at its center that sent the door flying inward. He hit the ground and rolled across it before coming up in a crouch and found plenty of Parthenon's waiting for him.

"I hope you werent waiting for me" Blaze said with sadistic glee before rushing the small battleforce of Parthenon.

Belgore frowned at the thought of the group he was leading, then fired off a volley of shots, taking down the last group of Parthenon in the area, four shots fired, 4 dead parthenon. (20xp). He tried once more to get ahold of Zero, but something seemed to be blocking the internal comunicators. He grunted and gave a signal for his team to group up and continue on.

Belgore narrowed his eyes as he gathered his troops with him. He eyed each one in turn, judgeing thier relitive strengths and weaknesses with a cold glare. Odds are that they probobly wouldn't survive untill the end of the war.. With a mental shrug, he turned his attention to the walls, gazing at the walls, looking for a sign.. then several minutes later. as they turned a corner, they encountered a large set of doors with the words "Purification Center" written on the doors.

"Looks like this is is... I havn't gotten any news from Zero since that huge tremor several minutes back.. So there's a chance that we're on our own now.. So with that in mind, I want each of you to give this your all.. as this might be your last combat"

"That's comforting to know" Blaze muttered.

Belgore turned and glared at Blaze for a moment as if trying to decide weather to say something or not.. when he heard the humm of machinery intencify in the next room. "Sounds like something's running in there.. so sounds like the machinery isn't too damaged.. That's almost reassuring.." He turned and kicked in the doors and was greeted with a vast expance of open pools with churning machinery inside, presumably there to clean away impurities.. but currently the machines were doing little more than mixing a thick murky poisonous looking substance into the water.. Belgore's gaze followed the substance to it's source, which was a massive machine sitting in the middle of the area, appearnatly hooked up each of the main pumps in the room.

"You and you" He said, pointing to Venus and Shi Tau. "I want you to go check that thing out, see what the hell it is, and if it's possable to turn it off. " He then turned to Blaze "You, I want you to circle around the edge of the room, there's probobly a maintinance room back there somewhere.. Check to see if the computers in there have any information on what the hell this thing is.. maybe find a circutbreaker to turn it off..."

They all nodded and went off to follow Belgore's commands, and it was then when Belgrore noticed the compleat lack of gaurds. "Keep on your toes, Something like this should be gaurded alot heavier than the rest of the facility.. yet there seems to be no hostiles present. I don't like it.."

OOC: There's something important in this room, but I'm too tired to write up a fight scene tonight, so I'll start it up in my next post.. No more Parthenons for Belgore's team untill then, as those things have been ordered to keep out of this area.

Blaze walked into the computer room casualy, holding a chain rod at the ready to dispatch any reploid that dared to take him on. Fortunately the room was empty and he went about his business, going quickly to a computer and accessing it.

His fingers were a blur as they danced across the key board, looking for the data they needed, scanning the information as it scolled down the screen. Then he stopped as he suddenly came over something interesting, something he recognised a few seconds later.

"Hey, a Passy Cyberelf, that will come in handy" he said as he took the cyberelf and went back to looking for the information. It didnt take long before he found it either, and with that he quickly committed the information to memory and left to catch up with Belgore.

Shi Tau nods at Belgore's command, looking at Venus as she turns around and says, "Lets go." With that, Shi Tau moves towards the large thing connected to the cables that might be the cause of all the poison. Venus keeps behind Shi Tau as she has a bad feeling too about this. Why no Parthenons? Could that strange thing be the 'guard'? It seems unlogical, but something is definitively strange about it.

The yellow eye glows some as she starts to conduct a scan of the thing, saying to Venus without turning her head. "Venus, be on your guard. You never know if this thing can be the guard..." Shi Tau's scanning goes up and down the thing, trying to find any evidence of it being the source of the poison and hopefully scan what kind of poison it is hauling out. But the most important part she wants to know, its if this thing is alive?

"Venus, be on your guard. You never know if this thing can be the guard..." Shi Tau said scanning the mechain.

Venus was getting bored fast. Venus looked at the poisonous subtances being mixed in the water. She tried to scan it but after a few seconds it came up unkown without further testing. She could try a sample but assumed it would have the same results. Her yellow eyes roamed the room for... anything.

"Bored..." Venus proclaimed raising her arms and looking at the floor.

She stared a momment at the many cords attached to the mechaine Shi Tau was scanning and grinned. She acted like she was strechting (very suspeciously but no one watching anyway.) and put her foot under it, then kicked it at Shi Tau. It clung to Shi Tau shoulder as she let out a startled shout and cut the cord swiftly. Blaze arrived on the sceen in a second and grinned at what he saw. Shi Tau stared at Venus fustratedly who was looking at the celling whistling with her hands behind her head as if she was oblivious at what happend.

"Very funny." Shi Tau muttered

"I thought it was." Blaze said putting his Chain rods away again.

"Venus." Belgore with the slightist hint of agatation

"You remember my name." Venus said whipping her eyes as if she was crying.

"Come here." Belgore motioned her to come to him

" Look man, this no doubt the source of the poison." Venus said pointing at the served cord that had that substance spilled from it. (It must of stop pumping senseing it was severed cause no more came out.) "So lets just bust this thing up and go see if Zero and his team are still alive." Venus said kicking the base of the mechain one good time.

This time the machine kicked back. Before Venus could react properly a shock rod was protruding from her chest, frying her from the inside out before a massive mechanical head slammed into her and threw her off the rod.(Venus is dealt 3 damage) The mechanical head reared back and was joined by two more, each one looking like a robotic dragon. Its sightless black eyes seemed to track the group of reploids in the room, robotic arms tipped with claws rising from the murky pools of polluted water in the room.


Above them in the courtyard.

Leviatan smiled and opened her mouth, an eerie, child like voice echoing outward in a deranged lullaby.(((OOC: For Xenosaga fans, this is exactly like the Song of Nephilim))) Almost immedeatly the ground shook again, the hydra looking beast crashing through the ground forming a large crater so the courtyard and basement were the same room. Sitting atop its mechanical head was Leviatan, smiling the entire time. "This is my new pet Zero, he's a bit tougher than the last one you destroyed." Giggled the female General as she hopped onto wall walkway, right in front of Zero. Comming his helm Zero started barking orders. "Belgore, have your team find that things power source and cut it! Venom, Incognito, try to repair the plasma turret and take out its heads!"

Belgore quickly threw himself into motion, cannons humming for a moment as he fired off a massive charged shot at the monstrocitie's torso, the blasts hit dead on and blew a significant chunk out of it's amor, and all three heads turned to face him. "That could have gone better" He growled to himself. The thing thrashed, hurling Venus and Shi Tau to oppisite sides of the pool, both of them impacting the walls (and taking one hitpoints worth of damage each from the impact). They landed on the walkways surrounding the pools and began to ready themselves for a counter attack.

Belgore's mind raced for a moment, then he rememberd the computer in the next room, ducking under a bite from one of the thing's extended heads, he pulled out his chainrod and used it like a grapple, swinging it so the end wrapped around the head as it lifted itself back up, using the extra heigth and momentum to swing himself across the room. He grabbed a stray cable, tearing it open to expose the wires inside, and he tossed it into the pool. "Storm coming, everyone out of the pool!" He called out, then took the other end of the cable and smashed his huge armored fist into the side of the computer in the adjacent room, gritting his teeth as huge volts of electricity jumped through his body, then to the wire, and from the wire into the pool. The Mechanical monstrocity screached in an unholy trio of painfilled voiced as the electrical energys erupting through the pool wrecked havok on it's interals, and with one last grunt, it's three heads fell down on, slumping lifelessly.

Not to sound stupid, but is SP = Style Points? Mostly wondering since it's been a while since action was going on here. :P

Utilizing a nearby Trans Server, Zero and the group headed home, Belgores body in tow. The heavyset mech style Reploid was laid out in Ciels lab for examination and Zero quickly took his leave of the group of elite fighting Reploids. His crimson form wandered the hallways for a while, golden blonde ponytail swaying to and fro at knee length behind him. A victory was a victory, but they had become hollow for him over the last few years. The generals kept coming, and each time, Zero could never bring himself to silence them forever. Every battle just wore his dated systems out more and more. While he was definitly still a top combat type reploid, he was old. Very minor alterations were made to his body and systems after he awoke, enough to sustain him, but he could never be as powerful as he was when he and X fought side by side against Sigma. Stepping onto the lift platform Zero ascended to the living quarters level of the facility. His room wasn't like the others, it was more of a storage room, all that decorated it was a bare bones maintenance bed. A few pictures were plastered to the wall, mostly those of himself, drawin my children and younger reploids who wished to emulate his heroics. Slipping onto the bed Zero laid his head back and twisted the white sideguards of his helm. Steam hissed from the pressure plates inside that hooked the helmet to his sytems and the device lifted away allowing hair to flop down over his emerald eyes.

"Where are you X.......?" Zero sighed aloud, the answer was plain and simple. X was dead, he saw it happen. And all so that foolish reploid could merge with the dark elf, a failed merger that left the reploid and X in pieces. Though Zero recovered the remains of X, he could never be rebuilt. This left X's soul, if you could call a Cyber Elf a soul, floating aimlessly through space and time. It was partially Zero's fault. He never bothered telling Alia, Signas, or X that he was going to seal himself away to remove the Maverick Virus from his systems. Closing his eyes Zero let out a sigh and put his hands up behind his head.

He sat motionless in the darkness of his room. Not unlike the dreamless comatose state he'd been in for so many years. The decompression hiss of his helmet filled the black void as Venom gently removed his helmet, his eyes the only thing that stood out against the darkness. He flexed his arm, it sparked painfully, like the day he'd fought for his life and was put into a near death coma.

He sneered at his own weakness. He was unable to defeat the ones that had tried to end his life, he had to be rescued, nearly going offline and remaining in a coma that felt like a bleak oblivion. He wasn't even sure Venom was his real codename, being a prototype he may have had a different one and Venom could've merely been his pet name by his creators. Either way he still felt as out of place as he did when he was first reactivated. The disorientation of being brought out of the void still left some deep emotional scars buried beyond his circuits.

He got up slowly, the recollection of his time in his coma made him dizzy. "I need to get some air." He staggered forward and hit the keypad which opened his quarters. He began to explore the facility and stop by the Infirmary to have it repaired and get a check up on all his systems.

"Let's hope the Doc's still up this late." He looked down at his arm once more and grimaced painfully. He wasn't sure what Partheon managed to get him in that spot but it was certainly something he should've taken care of right away. He cursed inwardly at his loner attitude, if he had gone to the infirmary with everyone to be repaired it probably wouldn't have aggrivated to this point. He punched a nearby wall with his free hand and smarted in pain as he realized these walls were rather durable.

Minutes later Venom, helmetless, strode into the Infirmary. "Hey Doc, you got a minute to patch up an old prototype?"

OOC: Killing the boss awared Belgore 10 additional SP.. not that he can use it since he's dead.. oh wait.. look at this! He's not dead afterall!

Since we gain a level AND a stat advancement.. does that mean we get the ussual stat advancement from levelup AND the bonus one?

Belgore groaned and opened his eyes as he heard one of the reploids that went on the mission with him come in and ask if Ceil had time to work on him.
"Venom, is it? I would.. but Belgore here looks pretty fried up.. whatever happened looks pretty bad" Ceil responded to Venom.

"Thats what happens when you channel a generator into a pool using your body as a conduit" Venom replied a little coldly.

Belgore almost managed a smirk, then grunted to himself and leaned up. "Thanks for the concern, doc.. but it's really not as severe as it looks.. I've had much worse in my time and lived to tell about it." He swung his feet off the bed and onto the floor, landing with an audible thud. "Go ahead and patch up Venom here"

Belgore closed the section of armor that Ceil was working on and left the room, each heavy footfall leaving a muffled thump on the floor as he walked off. He began to think to himself, wondering if his ploy worked. Leviatin knows he sealed his power away, but he didn't know if she knew he still had considerable resistance to electric energy. Sure the generator had fry'ed a few things.. nothing important enough to impare combat effectiveness.. and he had looked fried.. that was the important part.. hopefully Leviatin suspected that he had died in the event.. it would buy him a little more time to build up his abilities once more.

He snaped out of his musings and entered his room, having found that his immence frame made beds uncomfortable, especially with his non-removeable weapons, he had adapted to resting in a sort of recliner proped in a corner.. so he sat down and leaned back, closing his eyes to reflect on the day's activities in more detail.

Shi Tau in the meanwhile sat on the floor in her quarters and meditated, her single yellow glowing eye glowed more dull right now instead of the powerful glow one when she is active. Meditation for reploids is diffrent, she is merely half-awake, half-asleep. But she do think back to the day when the hau dragons got the full retreat order, which left Shi Tau behind to cover the others. She remembers how Shi Auin promised to look for her once they can step out into the lands again, along with the others.

She had little kills the last mission, due to the others had a better initiative than her. She is rather impressed by Zero, who seems to know when to exactly slash that blade to split atleast five parthenons in twain or two. For a moment, she thinks she sees an enemy in the corner of her eyes, slapping her awake as she snaps up into a standing position, her beam saber activated. She sighs as she notices a cloth flutter in the wind, retracting the beam saber into her hand. She is tense somehow, perhaps its an omen? She shrugs and heads out of her quarters, deciding to have a look around in the HeadQuarters.

Venus watched silently as Belgore rose like zombie and stauntered off. She shook her head at this due to his condition. He still was in pretty bad shape and should of stayied. Venus would of said somthing if she wasn't in such a foul mood herself. She has never ever came from a mission this badly damage that she had to hang out in the infrimary. She sat and watched Ciel diagnose Venoms arm as another nurse made a finale scan of her just repaired chest.

"You'll be good as new" the nurse said

"Good as new huh?" Venus said skepticlly. She didn't remember when she was made, never less new what new felt like. But she new she felt like she was getting old now. This was her first time getting somthing replaced. "Thanks." she said giving two thumbs up and a big smile as she got up to leave. She stuck her tongue out at Venom as she passed him and Ciel.

She wondered around the based until she came upon her room and opened the door. Venus made a bee line to the bed and crashed onto it. Not because she was tired but she couldn't think of anything better to do.

Zero had found his way out of bed and down to Cervau, the technicians, lab. As amazing at it was, data tracks from the 2100's still existed. By this time Zero had removed his trademark crimson bodyarmor and was now in just a pair of black jeans and his black skintight oversuit that allowed the armor to integrate through his artificial skin to the circuits beneath. Emerald tinted eyes just stared at the screen in awe of how many Mavericks X managed to kill alone. All the while, wielding the Z-Saber as if it were designed for him. A sigh passed the aritifical lips of Zero as data scrolled over the screen. X fought his hardest near the end, always hoping the next Maverick led him to Zero, his partner and the one person that kept X sane in this endless fight. The end itself was as Dr. Wily would have loved. X, bitter, and emotionally broken from the endless fighting alone, secluded himself and wasn't seen since. Only recently had it come to light that X sealed his body to contain the Dark Elf, thus seperating himself into the warrior, his shell, and his soul, the Cyber Elf. The tracks left him rather unsettled though. It seemed as if the Maverick virus had been eliminated, but Sigma was never terminated permanently. Tapping a finger on the panel Zero turned slightly to view the eccentric reploid technician, Cervau. Once again he was concocting a veritable deluge of new weapons and armors for the Irregular Hunter unit. "Just what are you slapping together now Cervau?" Zero asked, placing a finger along his own cheek in thought. At this rate Cervau would need to create a backpack for Zero to carry.

"I'm working on new weapons for your Hunter Unit. The basics you carry are formidable but Commander X has been studying us and our combat techniques. It's time for some new toys." Waving an arm the green robe clad scientist presented the new 'toys' to Zero.

"Blast Kunai, small energy knifes that stick to foes and explode with tremendous force." He flipped a few of them around, juggling them as if he really knew what he was doing, that changed when one of the inactive knives thwacked him in the forehead.

"Errr, onto the next batch." Cervau muttered as he stepped to the right. "These are Energy Busters designed to fit onto your Buster Guns. They emit a pulse of five charged up buster shots. They run on a seperate battery system than yourselves so your energy Guages won't drain from using them. Unfortunately the ammunition is limited to 5 shots a catridge and we have a limited supply of two cartridges an addon." Cervau seemed particularly proud of the shotgun style upgrades for the buster guns.

"This last one is the Missle Buster, an addon for the buster guns that channel the same properties of the blast kunai and the Energy Buster. We only have one of these weapons sadly and only three missles for it. Each missle laces Buster energy with explosive piercing rounds. When fired each missle breaks off into three smaller ones. Firing all three will result in nine single blasts of pircing buster energy." Another cheesy grin plastered across Cervaus face as he presented the final weapon. "There should be enough of these weapons to distribute to your group Zero, why not call them in and see who gets what?"

Putting down a tool and closing the armour plate over Incoqnito got up. He wasn't really damaged but was just checking things over, besides if the damage was mild enough he prefered to fix it himself, he detested anyone looking at his systems if he could help it. Incoqnito didn't know where this came from or why but it just came to him as a bad idea for letting people try to do a run-down of his systems.

He got up from the heavily equipped work bench and mantianence area and walked round his quarters, the walls were plastered with all kinds of things, mostly different reploid design schematics, or even some reploid parts themselves that he had, some he scrounged from around the place that no-one needed others were bits of Partheons or other kind of reploids he had beaten in combat. Somewhere in his mind he knew the reason for this was that if he found something familiar he thought he could track where he was made but so far he couldn't find anything in similiarity anywhere, he appeared entirely custom or some new design but right now he was only half interested in that and left his room heading for Cervau.

The inventor alwas made some interesting things, he liked to see what kind of technology he came up with partially in related to his search but also because he liked weapons, a lot. He figured it was from being singlely built for fighitng. He was a combat reploid through and through, his armour was permanently attached with no pretense at being at a human type reploid and the buster gun in his left fore-arm was seemlessly built in, the only thing that changed was his helmet retracted back forming a kind of colar round the back of his kneck revealing a hairless head

Incoqnito walked into the lab to see Zero talking with Cervau who wore a wide grin and waved him in, "Come in, come in" and walked him round the weapons and an extra big cheesey grin appeared on his face as Incoqnito took an interest in the Buster missile, "Mind if I take this?"

Zero smirked and shook his head. Cervau and Inconito got along well for people who had only met recently. Seeing the two grinning, if even over weaponry, did Zeros heart good. Smiles were rare for him, in fact, Zero never smiled, never sincerely at least. Taking his leave of the weapons experts Zero started back down towards the lift to take him up past the dormatory level. Thoughts of Sigma and X continued to plague him through the long, slow trip upward. At the Maintenance level the lift hissed to a stop and the doors opened to reveal Ciel, still dressed in her pink civilian clothes and covered in various dirts and oils from her lab and repairing the other Reploids. Her face brightened immedeatly when she saw Zero, rushing over and throwing her arms around his torso.

"Zero! Why didn't you come to the maintenance bay to get checked out like the rest?" Ciels big blue eyes just stared up at him. She knew the answer, but she still wanted to check him over to make sure he was ok. An ancient model, Zero was equipped with a basic repair function, with time he healed just like a human would. Regardless, she was happy to see the hunter again. Without him none of the current advancements could have been possible. And she would have most likely lost her life years ago.

"Sorry Ciel, I've just been thinking again.." Zeros gaze seemed unfocused.

"Is it about X?" Ciels brow furrowed slightly. "You know he's still out there, we will find a way to restore his body Zero." Ciel took a step back and clapsed her hands in front of her. Zero had become more and more detached lately. Seeing his best friend destroyed like that would probably do that to anyone. Leaning against Zero, Ciel closed her eyes and wished she could help him.

Blaze walked calmly into the training room, any damage he may have sustained had been repaired when he had gone in for his check up when they had gotten back from the mission, more or less just a few dents and scrapes here and there, nothing overly seriously.

He unhooked one of his chain rods and started to go through his kata pattern, the weapon twirling gracefully through the air as it lashed out at invisible enemes. He unhooked the second one without warning and started executing attacks with it as well, before performing double attacks with both of them. He's cartwheel through the air as he ran forward and flipped off the ground, his chain rods flying out in deliberate attack patterns.

As he went through the routines, fragmented memories came to him unbidden. The memories were hazy at best. They were memories of a strange looking reploid, standing on a hill with a chain rod in one hand and its other hand was transformed into a buster gun. Then, as always, the memory disappeared as quickly and quietly as it had arrived.

Blaze frowned and he slashed one of his chain rods across a wall in anger and frustration, slicing a gash in it.

He stood there quietly for a long time, looking at the damage he did to the wall, his face was dark and stormy and he clenched his weapons tightly. Then he deactivated them and left the training room, a casual expressioni having replaced the previous look on his face, as if nothing had happened.

"You're saying there is a chance the Shadow Chip still exists?" Harpuias eyes had widened to saucers at hearing Gryphos report on the factory. "This is an impossibility, my direct commander carried that prototype when he died at the power plant years back!" Hapuia dark eyes narrowed now, thoughts coming to him through the haze of rage. Perhaps Commander X lied....Maybe, just maybe Zero hadn't obliterated Phantom in their final confrontation. Every encounter had been to the contrary. When Zero had the chance he never finished off the other Generals. But why would Commander X seek to demonize Zero when he had never exhibited Maverick tendencies thus far?

"Harpuia my son, you doubt me? We all know Zeros sordid past. He was the progenitor Virus for the Mavericks, the very Genesis of their kind. With him, there will be no end to the menace of Mavericks, not so long as he exists!" Commander X had entered Harpuias personal quarters, obviously reading the mental waves exuding from him, an ability Commander X had with all 2nd generation Reploids since the end of the Sigma Wars. Ciel had built Commander X perfectly, and yet, Zero still managed to annihilate him in their first encounter. A wound on his pride that couldn't heal until Zero lay at his feet, broken, and aware enough to feel the pain of Commander X's final blow against him.

"I have a job for you, Fefnir, and Leviathan." Harpuia snapped to attention.

"But, Commander X, we had planned on going to the Reploid disposal factory to investigate the Shadow Chip waves!" Harpuia didn't get a chance to breathe another word as X's red eyes flashed brightly, an aura of crimson enveloping Harpuia and sending him to the floor in convulsions.

"You were saying?" X smiled cruelly as Harpuias Agonized screams echoed through the Arcadian fortress. Fefnir and Leviathan had covered their ears and shut their eyes tightly trying to cut out the agonized sounds. Though X called them his children, he treated them like slaves, and as such, their Personality Matrixes were warped possibly beyond repair.

"I will send Gryphos to investigate if that makmes you feel better, but you are going with the other two so that an investigation in the Repliforce wastelands can be conducted. We picked up something similar to Zero's energy signature out there. It's weak though, weak enough to kill. I want his head delivered to me, Z-Saber in tow. Am I understood?" X Increased the painful aura over Harpuia until his systems shut down automatically and triggered a reboot.

Meanwhile in the Resistance Base.

"Ciel, you should go clean yourself up. I'm fine, and I'm sure there are other Reploids that need your help." Zero patted the scientists shoulder and she smiled lightly to him, turning to leave.

"Zero, he's awake again..." The familiar gentle blue glow of Cyber Elf X filled Zero's dark room. "The seal broke when the F.W. sattelite crashed back to earth...he's awake again and Arcadia knows. Phantom left you something in his wake. It rests in the Reploid 'Recycling' facility. The blue swirling Cyber Elf zipped around the room and came to a rest right in front of Zero. "Use the gift he left you to infiltrate the remains of the F.W. , you have to shut him down before Arcadia finds him. Hurry Zero. And with that, the Cyber Elf left as quickly as it came.

Minutes later Zero burst into Cervaus lab, startling the scientist and Incognito as he threw on his right gauntlet and slipped his helmet into place, a hiss sounding as it reintegrated with his sytems, turning him from plain old Zero back into the Crimson Hunter that so many Arcadians had come to fear. Keying the comm unit Zero blared a message to his unit. "All members of the 17th division Hunter unit, report to Cervaus lab, I know it's soon for another mission but this is important. Get her ASAP and be ready for a fight." Zero keyed the comm off and raised his right hand to Cervau who tossed him one of the shotgun upgrades for his buster and the two extra clips for it.

Incoqnito's left arm switched into the Buster gun as he picked up the Missile addon and jacked it in then loaded in the three missiles for it. The Buster Gun vanished as his forearm closed over and his hand re-appeared. The reploid's Triple Rod appeared in his right hand and it extended, he checked the spear like points at each end and spiraled it round before it retracted and he put it away satisfied his gear was fine.

"Where we going" asked Incoqnito as he watched some members of the division enter the lab.

"The reploid recycling facility, give you the whole breifing when everyone gets here. Saves me having to say it more than once" Zero responded.

The reploid gave a tiny snort of amusement as his helmet activated and came up from the back of his head and settled, the two face plates snapped shut from either side of the helmet covering the face leaving only the optics exposed as a Visor dropped down and concealed those aswell.

Venus woke up with a start crashed to the floor startled. Zero message inturpted a pleasent daydream... or was she sleep? She couldn't tell. "I didn't have a mission in mind when I said I bored because their was nothing to do. I must be jinxed." she said alittle irrate "But it's better than napping! I must be lucky." she laughed and sprung off the floor.

Venus raced to the lab wanting to be the first to show up but was dissapointed seeing Incoqnito there toying with somthing. What type of name was that? And why Zero name is Zero? It should be Hero. "Reporting for duty Hero!" She said giving a salute and a big cheese-e smile that ethir amused or irrated people, and Zero wasn't amused.

Venus rolled her eyes and spotted Cervaus looking over some gizmos he must of made. She went over to look at them and picked up a set of strange knives? "Whats this?" Venus said, they looked weak compared to the other things on the table.

"Blast Kunia! Take them with" but Cervaus was inturpted tho

"Blast Kunia? Interesting name..." Venus said stroking her chin like she had a fine beard.

"Yes. It works like thi" but yet again he was inturupted

"Thanks Cervi. I use them wisly! Heh heh" Venus laughed as more members came in.

Moments after the announcement from Zero over the comm system Venom strode in, flexing his newly repaired arm and holding his Triple Rod firmly in the other. He'd dashed back to his quarters to retrieve his helmet and now stood fully armoured and ready to commence his next mission. Though he had his own self doubts, the revelation that his name may be nothing more then a petname that he was able to remember.

Either way he crossed his arms, and tapped his foot patiently, waiting for the others to gather and carefully examining all of the weapons, armour, and other toys that were strewn about the place. He'd have to keep his eyes peeled for anything that caught his mind, once he did a quick glance around the room he looked in Zero's general direction.

"All right boss, where we off to next?"

Nearly right after Venom enters, Shi Tau arrives, her systems fully charged as she salutes Zero. She looks at him, hearing Zero's question, but she lets her gaze speak instead of speaking herself. For the moment Shi Tau waits with upgrading her systems. She has barely gotten any damage since the last mission, only dust to clean off her armor. Of course her armor shines anew, mostly due to she did clean it right after they arrived back home.

"Akenushinastori, Shi Tau! Omaitresu!" Shi Tau speaks in a proud voice. Slamming her hand to her chest, right over her yellow glowing chest ball that powers her Mega Smasher Beam.
