Title: Xenosaga II
Description: Love it or hate it

Okay in about Three weeks Xenosaga ep.2 is coming out and I am eagerly anticipating it's release. I admit though to my chigrin that there are people who do not like it so in the spirit of debate I would like to know who likes it, and who hates it, and I want details as to why you like it or not.

Okay I want the Xeno fans to start posting. I really want other peoples feedback on the game.

I LOVE the Xeno series, all the way back to Gears. The story is compelling and twisting, just to make sure you cant even come close to guessing what happens next. The cinemas are beautiful(Albeit a bit drawn out) and serve only to further the deep story.

The gameplay is also pretty unique compared to current final fantasies and the like which are just a combination of button mashing X to attack and using the D-Pad to select the magic. Saga gives every button a use and different technique, as well as serve to combine to execute tech attacks, which when chosen can decide a boss battle for better or worse. the characters are beautifully crafted and the voice acting is top notch.

To be honest the only flaw I see is the cinematic length, there isnt enough gameplay. LUCKILY, Saga 2 : Beyond Good and Evil has cut down significantly on the cutscene length, but has placed more in the game at different intervals so we dont lose any storyline. The combat system has been fine tuned and the characters have been given a HUGE facelift. Gone are the cutesy anime esque characters, replaced by more adult looking versions of themselves and with god cause. The violence in this game is also expected to be more adult. Jin Vs Margulis just for starters. More playable characters will be available ANd you can carry over stats and such from the previous game. Can you say F-Scythe ultimate weapon from start of Episode 2?

This allows for elder players such as myself to carry over hard earned data from the previous game and possibly unlock further secrets in Ep. 2. Overall I am REALLY looking forward to the release of this game and have been playing through Gears again just for kicks.

This gets the XENON STAMP OF APROVAL. X

Yeah, Xenon just covered all the reasons + some as to why it's so good. Also, I like the semi-free roam capability in it. So, yeah. Me likey! :beers:

I am so glad that there are still fans of Xenogears out there. What a terrific game so rich in story and detailed characters. I love it! :D

Well kids, tommorow is the big day. Release day for one of my most highly anticipated games. Barely under a month afterwards, Devil may Cry 3 comes out too. YAY!!

There is 1 thing that sort of vexes me. You can not carry over your experience from the previous game. Which I think is bogus. Other than that great game well worth the price. Oh and one thing that they improved that I find very satisfying is they made leveling up much easier to do.

Well, I've started to play through. It really annoys me that they changed the voice actors for the majority of the characters, and that some of the characters *SHION* don't look anything like the characters we knew and loved from the first episode.
