Ok, this is the first official discussion topic for this section of the forum.

Some months ago I raised the what if question if I could write a Guyver novel, and this is something I still intend on doing, I just need get a little more experience before I attempt that.

Now I ask, in what form of media, do you think the Guyver should come back in, and I don't mean Mutronics or Dark Hero, I mean a fresh new story, but one thats true to the original Guyver story/manga created by Takaya. And I know he wrote a Guyver novel, but lets face it, its never going to get translated into English because its rare even in Japan as it is. But still, we as fans need to do ensure its survival.

So, post your ideas for a plausible story in this topic that does not involve high powered Guyvers, inlcuding but not limited to Guyver Zoalords. Remember if these stories were to ever be published, the permission to publish them would have to be granted by Takaya himself.

Please stick to the topic as well.

Well if you want to keep it true to the original Guyver and make a new original idea, that can seem like an oxymoron, because if you want to keep it true, then you wouldn't really be able to give it an overhaul :blink:

But I don't know how to word it any other way.

All I know is that it has to be true to the Guyver story established by Takaya, but just because its true to the original Takaya created, doesn't mean it can't be given a fresh new overhual. It just takes a lot more careful thinking, thats all....

You mean like the two differnt BubbleGum Crisis?

Well I got some ideas story wise. But mainly Guyver 2 shouldn't be killed. Maybe the cm survied but since it was damage dosen't regrow Lsker but forms an undamage G unit.

No Tyde, I don't mean how there's two different Bubblegum Crisis, and there's actually three BGC's by the way, however that falls unthe catagory of a retelling.

If you want an example here it is

There's the Guyver story that features Sho, Agito, Mizuki, Tetsuro and Chronos

and then

There's the Guyver story that featurs Sean and Kronos

Well we can have a story with a new character and base it in like New York or Toronto, or some other major city in teh world.

I's like to see a russian guyver for some odd reason..... I guess I just like the accent, or i just watch too much robotech and have captain glovals voice stuck in my head....

Mexican guyver that would be cool.

it should be more like the Rp some kid finds an alian ship and gets a guyver, along with a few other guys in varius parts of the world. kronos is trying to collect them or people who have them. varius trials of the main char and a big war at the end after a betrail. cool stuffs like that.
