ok, i just got done watching godzilla(usa) and i was wondering if anyone was interested in doing a gaint monster rpg. more later when i have the whole thing hammered out.

Yeah thatd be cool, are we making our own original giant monsters or going with monsters who have already appeared in movies?

In other news anyone else notice how everyones coming up with alot of WAAAAAY Out RPG ideas lately?I mean we got muppets, pokemon and now giant monsters. Well I won't be outdone that easily! I have a secret plan for something that'll be even more way out then all of those stuck together MUhahahaha! But that'll have to wait until a bit later I guess.

This reminds me of that one episode of Dexter's Lab called "Monstory" where Deedee tryes to tell Dexter a knock-knock joke disguised as a story, and he gives her a monsterizing potion, thinking it was a silence potion.. so she turns into a giant monster ballarina with 8 legs by the time she finishes mutating... so he takes one of the potions, turns into a worm, mutates into a lizard, then drinks some toxic sludge to turn into a nasty godzilla thing..

That's my favorite episode of Dexter's lab..

nah, the monster in the time traveling deedee episode was better, you know the one were he sends her back to stop him from opening his stargate type dimensional doorway thing...... that was soo funny.

now thats a giant monster i'd like.

As for a Robotech RPG, I'm still thinking about that, but I would really rather wait until I can get my hands on the boxsets because I really can't remember enough about it. But I'm not sure I'll do an RPG based on an Anime, Manga or Game, or Movie.

best bet would be the anime, as the books and anime go hand in hand, and is the more well known ones, since the movies were more of an ova than anything else, of course, you can always tie the games into anime since its just someone elses point of view of the anime saga, well, mostly anyway.

What I mean, is RPG's in general WZ, not just this one

which means if I do any more of my own RPG's, they'll be original rpgs

well if anyone had looked they'd find i was the last one to post in that rpg. also i've been told to kill that rpg mostly due to all the stop and goes that have stalled it.

as for the gaint monster rpg i was think of doing it g-man vs mecha g-man style.

Gah Riv and WZ you two should just get married, ye fight like a flippin' married couple and abuse each other as much as one. That being said it's legal in Canada so I wouldn't be half surprised if I saw either of ye in my backyard :P

getting back on topic, heres what i got for the rpg.

an aptom style monster or godzilla 2000 type(witch ever you prefer) has come to earth. years later the few remain humans have created zoid like mechs to help fight off the the best.

qustion that will be answered through out the RPG.
who sent the monster and why.
with the milltary all but destoryed who will pilot the the mechs.
how the hell do you kill a monster that aboarbs both organtic and inorgantic matter.
and is the remains of the human race even worth saving?
