Yeah, I know I got the idea for the Megaman X RPG, but it dosen't seem like a lot of people are going for it, but I was looking through the sheeps Pen and noticed the .hack// RPG, now I was getting to thinking that if there was a good storyline behind such an RPG it could do better then the one now in the pen...... It would consist of both game and anime things, not sure on a plot yet, but if enough people say they wanna do it, I'll work on a plot and get back to yah. sooo, any takers?

none here i think the seris is a bucnh of crap and the person to create the idea for the .hack// anime should be flogged with lead ninetalls then drug through town by the still hangin on skin.

Since you lack vision Astro, and a keen eye for detail *COUGH COUGH* I'd expect such an answer from you. But yeah, alot of people are fans of the game series and anime incarnations.

WarriorZoalord, I made the the first .Hack RPG, but it was way to open ended back then for many of us to comprehend how to continue it. That, and I had some personal issues that kept me off the board for a while so it couldnt really continue. So, if you wanna pull out an RPG feel free.

A .hack rpg would be cool I guess. I mean last weekend my bro came from Germany and brought a hdd with mad anime on it. I don't know how he got it. I have both hack seris on my comp tho so I am all for this. I also have the 1st and 2nd game, didn't beat the second tho.

And for the RPG, how's it gonna work? .Hack was cool and all (Very Talkative anime) but which elemants are you gonna use?

Sith Has a point .hack//sign isn't really a qoute unquote action title. I mean it has action in it but action isn't what it is about. So the question is how do you make it interesting for the characters on this board myself included. Though if done right this might make a good fan-fic idea

Well I wacthed a couple of epsiodes. What will the time be, as in will the guy who can't log out be in it. And is everyone looking for the twilight key? Or in other words will the show and game timeline events be the same with us added in.

Also the person controling our charecter from their comp do we have to kinda RPG them. Or do we just concentrate on the charecter in The World. It would interesting controlling a charecter from our pc who is controlling their chacreter from their pc when we are really controlling them both from our pc. :blink: Sounds cool. Can't wait. :P

I understand nothing about the show or game by the way but still like it alot. Yeah wathced alot of it and didn't do my Homework. Damnit damnit. Good thing alabamma has D's. :lol:

The RPG will incorperate a mixature of Drama, Action, Mystery and of course it wouldn't be an RPG without some Comdey on this board.

BUT, there will be no strange looking Player Character avatars.

By the way, I'm also helping WZ with this....

Most of the time, it will take place within 'The World' but a couple of times, you might have to do some "investigation" work in the real world which could lead to some even more dangerous times. And I will state now, that doing the "investigative work in the real world will most of the time be necessary, depending on various things that we will go into later.

As for plot..... Well, me and WZ will work that out when he's played a bit more of the game and I've watched a bit more of the .hack//SIGN serise. I do have something in mind, but I want to discuss it with Warrior Z first as he's the guy who is actually running it, I'm just helping out ^_^

P.S. Warrior, get your ass over to the Zelda RPG and POST ALREADY!!

I was just saying that This is the rpg discussion section, discussing a possable rpg.. and as such, the suggestion to turn it into a fanfic instead of an rpg isn't what we're looking for.

I'm not saying a .hack fanfic would be a bad idea.. I'm just saying the suggestion for one was a smidgen out of place in the rpg discussion area.
Both rpgs and fan-fics are similer in that they're written about oftain wonderfull things.. but rpg's are a group effort, and fanfics are (ussually) the work of a single person.
