Title: takkman/guyver
Teknoguyver - November 11, 2004 06:50 PM (GMT)
i've always wanted to do a crossover between the two. however i can't seem to get the storyline down right. anyone want to help or have any openions on this?
Astroguyver - November 11, 2004 08:11 PM (GMT)
Well you could cross the zoacrystals with the techset crystals? Say the radum took the idea from the creators?
Teknoguyver - November 11, 2004 08:56 PM (GMT)
thats something i've thought of more then once.
Astroguyver - November 11, 2004 09:21 PM (GMT)
Or the radam are the creators first attempt at the ultimate bop-weapon.
Kamui de' Tempest - November 11, 2004 10:05 PM (GMT)
Yeah. And they stole Creator Tech in the revolt thus making the Techsetter Crystals as there own type of Bio Booster armor. The radum have developed highly advanced Tekka technology. They now watnt to steall Creator tech (Namely the Guyver Unit) so they can combine it with there's to make a highly powerful hybrid and over run the Creators. If you need any reference material or help just give me a holler. Tekkaman as one of my favorite tv shows.
Just a winged idea you might be able to use for the RPG.

Kaiser Dragoon - November 11, 2004 10:17 PM (GMT)
Since you've suggested it Tekno this RPG better happen since you always talk about it or suffer the consequences of Kaiser's wrath of not being able to play a Tekkman/Guyver <_<
Teknoguyver - November 11, 2004 10:24 PM (GMT)

Well you've suggested doing this RPG for quite some time now. Besides that wasn't a threat, just a friendly reminder of the consequences of your actions B)
Teknoguyver - November 17, 2004 09:22 PM (GMT)
while it's true i wanted to do a fanfiction crossover of the two this is the frist time i suggested it as an RPG.

I'd say it would be a very cool RPG, so in the spirit of being me, I'd like it to start rather then have ye silence yourself B)
Teknoguyver - November 18, 2004 01:33 AM (GMT)
well then guess i'll start writeing it up.
weltall2 - November 19, 2004 07:08 PM (GMT)
Tekkaman and Guyver me wanty in. I used to love Tekkaman before that bugered network UPN took it off the air. Anyway this sounds like a great Idea.
Teknoguyver - November 19, 2004 07:10 PM (GMT)
well it just so happens that i own the whole series. it's japanese with English subtitles, badly done subtitles but still readable.
oh and there are 49 eps, not 42 as some people seem to think there are.
Sparky - November 23, 2004 11:32 PM (GMT)
Sorry I haven't posted or anything yet but I am interested in this if techno gets it going. However I don't know anything about Tekkaman so someone would need to provide a link to a fairly good site with respectable level of info or spend a good portion of they're life going through it with me

Teknoguyver - November 24, 2004 01:06 AM (GMT)
ok, if no one else in my command fucks up big time then i have a three day weekend coming up. there for i'll have a more detailed story.
right now i have dragoon playing the major bad guy for the rpg.(something i know i'm going to regret later as he's to good at playing one.)
background story is as follows for right now.
the radam were the great big threat that the creator/advents were fighting during the time they were on earth. however, the final battle happened before they were finished.
this battle result in the total destruction of the advents and there home world, yet the radam paid dearly for this victory as their entire tekkaman(teknoman for those that saw it on upn) corps was wiped out.
however, two humans that were being trained to become master zoalords lived(each thining they were the only Survivor), along with two test units the creators were devloping.
these two units were a mix of both guyver and tekkaman tech. the reason for the two was that one is the test type while the other was designed to destroy the other in case it went out of control.
fast foreward to the present
the main charactor of the rpg now fights to protect the worlds agaisnt the newly reborn radam threat not knowing that his "blood brother" and best friend is now the leader of the radam army.
i'm going to let everyone have two charactors. one will be on the "good guys" side and the other will be on the "bad guys" side.
guyver/tekkamn tech will be given out to eveyone else through the RPG.
heres a link for some info on tekkaman blade.
www.tekno-mania.com
also here are some tekkaman models for you to look at.
cdecas.free.fr/robots/tekkaman.php
the one called SOL TEKKAMAN is a just a battle frame. it's not a real tekkaman but it still looks cool.
Astroguyver - November 24, 2004 01:59 AM (GMT)
i have a dumb question, but i have to ask it anyway. Are any of the original characters from tekkaman blade 1 & 2 open for grabs. Tekkaman Dead is my favorite character B)
Teknoguyver - November 24, 2004 02:08 AM (GMT)
ok ok, while his armor is kick ass looking, why on earth would you want to be the female looking guy in the whole tekkaman world?
web.mit.edu/mtyung/www/Tekk/TB2ep5deadend4.JPG
yes people this is really a male charactor.
yet he has some really cool armor.
web.mit.edu/mtyung/www/Tekk/TB2ep5deadend8.JPG
as for leting them in i don't see why not, however they won't be the same people they are in the anime.

ok, i found this while surfering the net. i help it helps.
The Teknoman armor in the original TEKKAMAN THE SPACE KNIGHT TV series was mechanical and man-made; Teknoarmor in the truest sense of the word. The "Teknoman Weapon System", created by the Venomoids, is organic in nature; it is basically made of organic crystals. The Venomoids have developed a technology that is organic in nature; even their spaceship is more organic than mechanical. While this means that the Venomoid Teknoman Weapon System is not mechanical, it is still the result of technology - just not technology as we humans have developed to date. The Venomoid Teknoman armor is almost a living thing, existing in symbiosis with its wearers. The armor stores and focuses the bio-energy generated by its wearer.
Further, it is self-repairing: in most cases any damage caused in battle will have been repaired by the next time it is called up. If the wearer is willing to waste the energy, the armor can repair itself even without changing back and forth. The armor will also change with the need and experience of the wearer. For example, as Slade gains more experience with the armor and learns to better utilize it, and is given an outside power source at one point, he discovers the "Teknoman-Plus" version of his armor. (He can't use it very often as it takes much more bioenergy to power this highly evolved transformation; he can't afford to use that much energy unless it is absolutely necessary.) Also, while the Teknoman humans initially lose their clothing during transformation, as they become more used to the process and gain more control of it, they no longer become "starkers" when they send away the armor. In later episodes, the Venomoids use the energy absorbing power of the armor by placing captive humans in huge crystals and encasing their paralyzed bodies in basic Teknoman armor. The armor draws out the human bioenergy so the aliens can feed on it. In these cases, the humans are not strong enough to control the transformation or the armor - instead, the armor controls them, and they will eventually die as all their life force is siphoned off.
The Teknoman Weapon System is called into being and later sent away by using the "teknocrystal" or change crystal - usually a four-pointed crystal that fits the hand. (It is normally absorbed into the body when not in use, so cannot be taken away from the wearer. Unfortunately the animators weren't consistent on this point, as sometimes it appears some of the characters have their teknocrystals hidden somewhere on their person. The wearer can also chose to NOT absorb the teknocrystal immediately after sending away the armor; before Slade's crystal was damaged he allowed Commander Jamison and the Space Knight scientists to examine his teknocrystal. It seems that once the teknocrystal is cracked or broken, the crystal cannot be repaired or reabsorbed into the body. In addition, the damage to Slade's teknocrystal also means he cannot remain armored for as long as a Teknoman whose crystal is whole.) The crystals are all different. Each set of armor is by its very nature "tailored" to the individual warrior.
A warrior can use another's teknocrystal, or even more than one at once, but the effort to use a Teknoman Weapon System not created for that wearer will quickly burn out the nervous system of that person. Each warrior is controlled by a tiny Venomoid parasite that helps insure the human stays loyal to the Venomoids. The parasites are visible as "eyes" in the armor of the wearer; most of the Venomoid-controlled Teknomen have these "eyes" on the back side of their armor near or over the neck - I am assuming that the parasites control their hosts through the nerve clusters at the back of the neck where the spine connects to the brain. While not always visible in the footage in the series itself, the character design sheets for the armor for each Venomoid Teknoman shows the location of each "eye". Both Slade and Shara have managed to escape prior to being infected by parasites; the other Teknoman Weapon Systems remain firmly under the Venomoids' control. The parasites also help their hosts control the Teknoman Weapon Systems and enable them to remain in armor longer than the two who are not hosts. Shara, minus the parasite, cannot control the power flow of the armor and eventually, while being tortured by the Venomoid controlled Teknomen, is killed by her own power overload. Her teknocrystal is also curiously uneven; I suspect she escaped before her armor was complete; this further aggravates her problems of controlling the power flow resulting from the teknocrystal "virus" that infects her body. Even those still under control cannot remain in armor indefinitely (with the possible exception of Kengo/Teknoman Lance, who at the time of the series has a parasite who has almost entirely absorbed his human form); and the more energy used by the warrior the sooner the armor will have to be released. The armor "lives" by using the bioenergy of its wearer.
The crystal in the center of the forehead of the helmet begins to blink when the wearer's energy is nearing its end. However, the wearer does not die immediately if this time limit is passed; instead they are subjected to so much pain that they go temporarily insane. Slade has a green colored teknocrystal while the others have red ones. I don't know if this is related to his not hosting a Venomoid parasite or not. Additionally, those under Venomoid control have red pupils to their eyes while both Slade and Shara have normal eyes. I assume the presence or absence of the Venomoid parasites within them have something to do with this fact.
