I'm currently making a movie with a combination of 3d animation and flash. Here's two pics of the two 3d characters..

Here's the deal with the movie, I got a freind named mike, and I thought I would make a movie about his afro. It starts out when his afro wakes up and sees a mysterious cat thing with eyebrows and decides to follow it. On its journey it encounters things that force it to evolve to a new plane of existence. Most of it will be done in flash, the end sequence where the afro evolves into a neo afro will be in 3d, it'll be neato torpedo, I'll put some pics of the flash parts up later too. When its done I'll have to figure out a good place to host the movie to show you guys.

Anyway, yeah this is going to have alot of cool stuff in it, there will even be squirrel that shoots out and stabs things with a blade.

Maybe after this movie you should make one about us B)

Actually what would be kind of a cool movie would be Jehuty fighting the zombie school girls that got brought up in that other topic. And they can eat armageddon since thats his new phobia :lol: . The afro movie is for a school project, my first priority for my free time projects though will still be the 3d manga I'm working on, but maybe I'll do the jehuty vs the school girls movie idea for another school project sometime. I also need to make labig the movie some time as well since my freinds keep saying it'll never get made I need to prove them wrong. Now I know how Quenten Tarantino feels, I just got too many good ideas for me to get done with :w00t:

Get your school stuff done, then work on one that has us each embody our own signature character and go on some crazed Mr. Z quest :lol: :D

So that would sort of be like a battle cube movie hmmm...but it should still have the zombie schoool girls who eat armageddon in it :w00t:

To save time I actually made this in 3d and converted the image to a vector file, that way I can take multiple different shots of the room from different angles without having to redraw it. For some reason theres a snowman, a giant mushroom and two hamburgers lying around in it. The real mikes room is much messier then this though, his room is among one of the few rooms that can make mine look clean. I guess the giant mushroom must have eaten all the junk in this version of mikes room or something...

I'm probably going to be changing some of the lighting in this to give it more of a red hue, sort of like how everything was shot in mamoru ohiis movie talking head, i always liked the directing style in that movie.

What program are you using to make images? Are you going to school to make vidoe games Z? Do you talk in real life the same way you talk on the boards?

You know Mr Z if you ever make a flash movie about us you gotta have me as a drunken hobo in the street who starts the fight the zombies with his broken beer bottle :beers: :)

My major is graphic design, but my real goal would be to make animation and special effects in movies, making video games wouldn't be bad either.

As for the programs I'm using on this I'm using flash, maya and 3d max, and anything else that I find to be convenient, but right now its just those three. When I get paid I got to upgrade to max 7 because there some cool new features in that.

And yes I talk in real life the same way I do on the boards. Some times I talk to inanimate objects too but I tend to be more insulting towards inanimate objects because they often don't do what I want so I start ranting at them like Jinnai from El Hazard telling them that they are bugs under my feet and they had better start doing what I'm saying or else heads will role. More often then not that object would be my computer so I can't actually make its head role because then I would have to buy a new one and that would be bad, but don't tell my computer, it thinks I'm actually going to chop its head off if it doesnt do what I say.

As for the hobo I might just have a cameo for you in this. You can be someone whose listening to the crazy things on the soap baxes that are ranting about stuff in some incomprehensible language.

Tonight I'm going to be working one some of the opening animation.

Mr Z I got a question. Do you remember when you mentioned the demented cartoon movie and said it was made by some people you knew. Well in it was a thing called spamtaro and I saw this other fash movie, a parody of Van Helsing. "Van Helthing" and I was wondering if your friends made that aswell as the Spamtaro character makes an appearance...................

If brian made that I havent heard anything of it, his most recent movie I saw was something that had 3d tupperware ninjas in it, although I dont know if he ever put that on the internet.

it also had a rubber ninja in it. I was just incase your friends charactor something was ripped off.

But in other news I'm about 80 percent done with the movie now. All thats left for me to do is the really hard part, I also need to add some sound in. unfortunatly I forgot to add in sparkys cameo and only noticed just now , so he wont be in this movie. Anyway I think this could be pretty good, hopefully it'll become as notorious as brians movie. It's due next thursday so hopefully ill have it finished by then.

Only have 3.5 scenes left to do, I just need to finish tweaking some of the models.
