Title: Starwars battlefront

Astroguyver - September 29, 2004 03:27 PM (GMT)
I recently rented battlefront and it was awsome :)

I stoll a jedi starfighter as a droid and it rocked. The grapfics are great and i like how you are a normal troop insted of a special character like a jedi and such.

I'd go with getting it for the PS2 as it would probably run better

yeah but if i ever want to play multiplayer I'd have to get PC version, im not spending 100 or so bucks to get my PS2 online compatible... besides I have a version one PS2 and it seems to be on its last leg. then i'd have to spend abouther 50 bucks to fix it.

Your first announccement from the recently turned member to game mod (Although why I was put in this position is strange, perhaps the government is controlling the admin of this board and want to build a file on me by observing my disciplinary skills, I don know but I promise to the best mod I can be!!!!!)

Anyway everything looks ok here however Tyde respectfully the way you talk it sounds like you got it pirate or something and I ask those people here to refrain discussing about illigetimate products. If I'm wrong I apologise sincerely.

Anyway now thats over with, can someone tell me if this is a collective thing where it just brings the biggest star wars battles into one thing and you pick and fight through them or does this play along a script joined into the star wars story.

Oh, does this mean we can give you hard time Sparky now that your a mod??

Anyway, from what I understand, Battle Front when networked is like a giant online community or something, I could be wrong because my friend was telling me about it from one of his PS2 magazines, and my friend is an idiot  (Reece, if you read this, you know I'm right ;) )

Sparky - October 5, 2004 02:37 PM (GMT)
Reece Richardson the super hero comes here?
Anyway I knew it could be networked but I mean do you play through a series of batles that are interconnected into a story that relates to the films or just individual campaigns that are set throughout the star wars universe.

Astroguyver - October 5, 2004 08:15 PM (GMT)
You play through the major battles of the starwars universe as both sides.

Trade Federation vs Everyone Else: Ep 1 & 2

Empire vs' those damn rebel scum: Eps 4,5,6

You can play all the battles: like the battle on endor, or the battle at the end of the clone war movie.

Its all sides so ou can see from both veiw points

WarriorZoalord - October 7, 2004 05:36 AM (GMT)
yup, Astros right, though the units im good with are pilot (love killing stuff with X-wing), the Jet trooper (Can kill most Driod in one shot from EMP launcher), and any of the sharpshooters, the Droideka's are also pretty good if you can move them fast enough to not get killed before you get yoru sheilds up. and In instant action you can do any battle, most you can pick wether you want the Empire v rebels, or the Republic V separatists. while story mode is reather short, the galactic conquest will give you a lot of fun times cause you have to play through it repetedly in order to get every bonus to choose from.
