I've seen plenty of sites like this one, I want to take a blunt butchers knife to each and everyone of them.

Same goes for those idiots that waste webspace by putting up Anti websites, its all pointless!!!

I will admit I don't enjoy the new trilogy as much as the old one because I can find a lot of flaws in them, for example.

C3PO, he should have remembered the name, Skywalker, unless of course he a memory wipe, in which case it is understandable, HOWEVER!! Uncle Owens should have remembered the name C3PO because C3PO lived with him and his father when Shimi married Owens father and stayed there for a could ten years. Owens doesn't strike me as the kind of man who would forget something as a name so easily, even a droids name.

then we come to other thing.

In the original trilogy, Obiwan states to Luke, that Yoda was his master, so where the hell did Qui Gon Jinn come into the picture? And another thing about Obiwan, you would think he would remember the name of the droid that basically saved his life when they were rescuing the Queen. R2D2 remembered him, so Obiwan should have been able to remember him.

George Lucas really didn't sit down and take all of this into account when he thought up the prequel trilogy, so I'm very disappointed in him. I just hope that if these recent rumors going around that he is seriously thinking about doing Star Wars 7,8 and 9 are true that he actually sits down and thinks about it before he does it.

well 7, 8, and 9 happen after the original trilogy, so by the time they all happen, so the last 3 movies would have all the loose ends tied up beforehand..

Astroguyver - September 20, 2004 05:56 PM (GMT)
Anyone that does that belongs on the show "Clerks."

First off,Lucas has denied that he's even seriously considered doing 7,8 & 9. Secondly Obi Wan says that he doesn't recall owning any droid, not that he doesn't remember R2(this has a lot to do with his whole "certain point of view" attitude) And the Lars household went through a lot of different droids, surely they can't be really expected to remember every single one of them.

Sorry about that

*Chibi Riven Pops up on Screen and says in cute voice*

Yes, Obiwan's is awhole point of veiw thing, granted.

And yes, the Lars would have went through ALOT of droids, however C3PO was special in two facts, 1 being that Anakin built him from scrap and 2 being that techinically Owen didn't own him, so that name should have stuck in his mind. Everyone always remembers what they can't or won't ever own.

And George Lucas said in a recent report that it was a possibility that 7,8, and 9 would be made :beers:

I really should give you some shit for the rp'ing outside the proper sections but it's 8AM here and I can't be assed. And Obi Wan never stated when Yoda taught him, especially now we know that Yoda trained the ickle Jedi.

As for a recent article saying there would be more movies, this was the only one I could find http://www.theforce.net/episode3/ under "Tue, Sep 14, 04 03:02:57 AM EDT"

Astroguyver - September 22, 2004 02:00 PM (GMT)
