i recently bought guyver 1 and guyver 2: dark hero on dvd and i played them back to back today with a friend.

well at the end of dark hero a thought it me as i ran over what could be used to make third movie if the ever wanted to. things like what the advents would do when a lost ship suddenly pops up, the fact that both sean and atkins said "they'd see each other around", and the fact that the government is planing an underground war.

now i don't know about you but this sounds like an rpg to me.(ok ok i admit everything sounds like one to me) we have a set up that everyone knows and if played right we could turn this under ground war into our very own "warriorguyver fanfiction" rpg. (but lets stick with the standard units) we can even throw thing from the manga in like the gigantic unit and the other zoanoids/zoalords.

i'd prefer to keep guyver 1-3 out of this as the rpg would be based off the movies.

so yay or nay?

Holy crap, I was thinking the samething before i read this. I think its time to have an actual gutver rpg since this is a guyver message board. You can count me in. Ive been wanting a low power game for a while now.

Ii have to agree, it would be good to see at least one Guyver RPG on here, and one that doesn't involve super powered Guyver or Guyver like creatures, (i.e. Jehuty, Oni Guyver and other Gathering beasties)

Actually, I have a character I might try out, then again I might use another incarnation of Oni, though, a low powered version of Oni of course....

coolness. ok i would suggest that everyone watch dark hero again just to refresh them selves. i'll post my opening topic in the fan fiction section for review. (note: the two movies are the opening topics. the only thing we need to do is introduce our charactors.)

also please keep in mind during the coruse of the rpg that in the movies a normal "fit" human armed with a big ass hammer and 4800 volts of electricity as well as alot of luck can take down a low level zoaniod. (god you just have to love atkins for that.)

now last night was the first time in many years that i saw the two guyver movies and i have to say that it wasn't the guyver vs. zoanoid fights that i like but the human side of every thing. you had two zoanoids in love for crying out loud ( lisker and that female zoanoid from the frist movie) as for the second movie i thenk sean said it best. it was all about the "need to know." as in needing to know what he had become, what the dreams ment, and what was his purpose in life now that he was bonded to the unit.

i'd also like to refain form everyone playing a guyver. we really don't need 50 guyver running around.

Well, I'm calling dibs on a Guyver enhanced Character right here, right now.......

And yes Atkins rocks for being able to take down that Zoanoid, but about Miski in the first one taking down that Zoanoid with a bop to the head! Now that was good ^_^;

Anyway, I can't wait to play this RPG

I might join this too, I got the two movies last weekend and i always thought they left you hanging at the end of DH, now we can do just about whatever we want for it. I'd want to either be a zoalord, or maybe just a human with a big hammer and a really high voltage tazer gun, hehe. Atkins was pretty cool in that scene.

also i think one of the dead zoanoids from the wharehouse fight came back from the dead at the end of the movie. (remember the black cop, didn't he get a buzz saw to the head and yet he pops back up at the end?)

I have an Idea for a chracter that i want to try out. Nothing powerful mostly a normal human, for now.

here are a couple of ground rules i've been thinking of. please tell me if what you think.

1. the only zoanoids allowed will be the ones form the anime, manga, and movies.
2. there will only be a total of 5 guyver units.
3. if your looking for or planing one big fight after another or non-stop fighting go join another rpg. there will med to long gaps between fights for charactor devolpment(sp) among other things.
4. your eathier a guyver, a zoanoid, or a human. it's that cut and dry.

now i know these won't be easy to live with considering our last few rpg's, but i don't think their unreasonable.

Does this include Sean? or is he not in it?

No Zoalords in this RPG? I think they would make it a bit tougher on the guyvers at least.

I'll vote for BloodStorm to do Striker again. In fact, i had a dream the other night, just after watching Guyver 1, that i DID a rap while trying to kill Striker. I guess he didn't get that Guyvin' Jivin' thing after all. :lol: :666:

Well I got an idea and i got dibs on one of the guyvers. But im not going to use that guyver unit till oh about part 3 or four if we get taht far and if its ok with teckno.

Secret Wars was falling apart since nearly everyone in it was confused about what was happening. The RPG I was referring to was one Astro and I tried to revive but failed :weep:

If Tekno can keep everyone together on this I'm all for it, and as for the fighting to claim the units, I'll be there to fight for it's ownership B)

wait a'moment. who's confused about serect wars???? i can understand if you don't know whats going on due to the "long" gaps between posts, but i didn't think i'd have to spell it out for you.

i'm only leting in five units because their "are" only 5 units. the three we all know and love. sean's unit and cranes unit. (however do to who i'm playing and his lack/need of a body cranes unit is taken. don't worry he'll be the same as everyone else who gets a unit.

Well if we actually have to fight over it im might withdraw. Every time i try to advance a character logically the DF bord goes bananas with upgrades to conter everything everydoes.

THATS why this is a low powered rpg.. no super sized upgrades for no reason.
Besides.. I've yet to find very many of your advancement's "logical" :P

I will join this rpg since everyone is. I will not even try to get a unit seeing the chances of me getting one against you guys are slim to none. Hopefully I will have a partnership with someone who does get one tho.

So when are we going to start this RPG?

I'm the only one with any real excuse as to not posting (king of slackers) but even I feel like getting into a good rumble..

Well, I've had connection problems lately, but I'm trying to get some ideas together for opening post of this Slayers RPG but I'm going to see some friends of mine and see if they can help me. But I'm just not sure.

On a side note, my title could be RPG King of Indiciviness, what do yah think Blood ^_^;
