It's been one year since Neo Arcadia, the magnificent city built by the first sentient mecha X felt the wrath of the Reploids it had deemed expendable and inferior. One year since X's partner and best friend had been awakened to find that X's name had been tarnished by some pirate copy bent on taking the title of 'Hero' by exterminating nonexistant Mavericks. Zero, the legendary crimson hunter still fights against Arcadia to free all Reploids from its deadly grasp but these battles have lost meaning for him. The destruction lacks purpose beyond Zero defending himself against the army of mindless X lookalike infantry drones. To bring purpose back to his life and his battles Zero knows he must find the one who awakened him from his hibernation. Ciel the woman responsible for the creation of the X copy named Omega. The woman also responsible for the creation of the Reploid resistance.

Harsh wind blew across the battered land that had once been a sprawling metropolis but was reduced to rubble that had decayed over the past century thanks to the Sigma Virus. Humanit hadnt even tried to rebuild itself after the Maverick wars. They left all of that to X. walking through the center of the city was a soliatary figure with a battered tan rag wrapped about its form. This figure was the legendary warrior Zero who had killed Omega and delivered a devastating blow to Neo Arcadia. But now he was a mere shadow of his former self. The once gleaming crimson armor was battered and cracked. His helmet and its shimmering blue crystal centerpiece was charred beyond recognition and his golden blond hair was ragged and stained with the fluids of dead X drones. His pace was slow and a bit off balance as he used the triple rod staff as a walking stick. However his pace wasnt meant to be slow. Nor was his life. Sphere of plasma whizzed by him slamming into rusted vehicle remains and blasting them apart in a brilliant display of light. Zero turned to face his assailants and tore off his ragged excuse for a cloak. The sun glinted in his eyes as he pulled a small white swordless hilt from his left legs sheath. "This isnt fun anymore......." He sighed as jade green power sparked from the hilt forming a sword of plasma energy.

With that the fight began as Zero in his damaged state rushed the drones cleaving them to pieces and spattering mechanical fluids across the decaying cities remains. Above the chaos though stood Harpuia. The Jade green General of Neo Arcadia and Omegas replacement. Harpuias purple eyes narrowed as he looked down at the damaged Zero fighting for his life against the hordes of mindless Drones. Zero looked half dead, nothing compared to gleaming blood red armored warrior who had killed Omega one year ago to date. Now was the obvious chance to strike and obliterate the Reploids last hope. Harpuia raised his Buster rifle and took aim at the Maverick Hunters head. "To live or die Zero........"

OOC: Okies kids this is where it all begins. Big fight scene to introduce with a big baddie looking on. One rule though. Zero CANNOT be killed as he is important to the Story so dont worry about Harpuia. Choose your sides carefully. Arcadia has the firepower but the resistance so far is the only group that can access Cyber elves to upgrade themselves on the spot.

OOC: Allright, time to see if this one can do better than your others, Xenon.. like they say, third time's a charm, right?

A moderate distance away from the battlefeild, stood a tal, boxy looking repliod with overlarge cannon barrels resting on his shoulders. This repliod, known as Belgore, was an enigma among the resistance. No one knows whay he joined, but he's one of the best soliders they've got.

Belgore watched the battle from his perch atop a craggy hill through some sighting Binoculars he oftian carried. Zero was having his hands full with all the X drones. A smile crossed Belgore's lips and he fired off several shots from his cannons, advanced gyro's compensating for the heavy kick from recoil.

Suddenly the battle feild all around Zero exploded as several heavy shells rained down upon the drones. Carefully calculated so Zero would suffer no more damage than from a few chips of pavement fragmenting from the blasts. Zero wordlessly thanked the assisst, then ducked under some cover as one of Harpuia's shots narrowly missed.

Belgore narrowed his eyes and tooks another look through the targiting scope. Sighting Harpuia, he cursed under his breath and fired off a quicky volley of blasts at his cannon at the General.

Harpuia frowned and seemingly disappeared with his griffon. Belgore soon found himself on the recieving end of one of the griffons steel talons which slammed into him mere seconds after harpuia disappeared. Though the attack was fast it wasnt nearly enough to crack Belgores armor. With a grin Belgore gave the griffon back what it gave with change. The mechanical monstrosity fell back but wasnt down for long. however further combat was cut short as a blast of plasma whizzed by Belgore and struck an unsuspecting Harpuia dead in the chest knocking his buster rifle out of his hand and ruining the careful aim Harpuia had taken to belgores head. Belgore nodded to Zero acknowledging the eye for an eye save there. The griffon collected its damaged master and fled the scene. Zero was beginning to slow down. Several drones with power arms were beginning to throw Zero around like a rag doll cracking his damaged armor even further. One of them picked Zero up by his head and began to squeeze. The battered Hunter used his last bit of strength to fire a charged buster shot into the Drones face exploding its head. With that he fell to his knees the glow leaving the cracked crystal in his helm.

From the shadows a solitary figure looked on shaking its head as Zero fell and the Droned advanced. Several drones heads exploded as they advanced on Zero none of them making it within five feet of the wounded hunters body. It was obvious they wanted to collect it and with him defenseless the only thing stopping them was the shadowy figure whch nobody could see.

Ace grinned as all the reloids fell to the ground from his blasts. he walked out of the shadows and pulled his hood down and starred at zero who was on the ground with a cracked helm. He pulled zero to his feet and put one of zero's arms around his shoulder. Holding him up as he starred at Belgore. Ace walked up and greeted him. " where is the nearest resistance? base zero needs to be repaired,"

soon after

Ace laid zero's chared body on a table where he was already being attended to. Ace began walking toward the door as he put his hood back over his head. "how will we find you again?" Belgore starred. "Trust me when i say i won't be far away..." Ace disappeared almost before he got out of the base.

He hid in the shadows as he sat high above on a bulding waiting for zero to recover. "That was the man i was created to replace..." Ace looked down with no emotion on his face. Waiting with every sense at its max for zero to appear out of the base.

While Zero, Belgore and Ace had left there where still several drones left wandering free looking for trouble. They where prepared to destroy some building housing innocent live when suddenly from nowhere a plamsa boomerang came and bisected the first one in half. The other drones turned to look at the direction the attack came from when suddenly a chain rod struck one around the throat and yanked him high in the air before his head was shattered. A dark form detached itself from the shadows as it streak high in the air in a twisting flip. The drones raised their arms to shoot this stranger from the sky when suddenly an insane amount of ammunition was fired at them, the are thy stood and near it was destroyed. The shadowy form landed on cat like paws. This new creature turned and it was revealed to be a were-cat reploid of some type. Its right arm was clawed while its left was a mini gun of some sort. A flexing of the arm forced the mini gun to pop open and rest in sections against the creature's arm. His name was Leo and he was searching for answers.

Cerveau, a reploid and a reploid scientist sat at a monitor in the maintenance room scanning through Zeros body and fixing what he could. Even though an entire year had passed Zeros body was still a mystery even to the most renowned Reploid scientist Ciel. Even though he was in horrible shape having not been to a maintenance station in over a year Zero seemed to have gotten stronger. Any other reploid would of ceased functioning with that kind of damage and yet Zero wasnt just any Reploid. He was a relic from an extinct Era where Humans created Reploids for the sole purpose of destruction and hard labor. With a sigh Cerveau stood from his seat and looked at the body of Zero. By now the armor and body structure as well as the internal injuries were repaired. His weaponry had also been repaired. Every weapon was in horrible disrepair including his trademark Z-Saber. The odd thing about that saber was that it couldnt be duplicated for some reason. The ability of that Saber in Zeros hands was nearly infinite. Shaking his mind free of his musings Cerveau exited the maintenance room shutting off the lights. Zero would need rest if he was to recover.

Meanwhile in Neo Arcadia.
Blinding white lights filled an ofice room where a man in a black suit was looking over some holographic data files. His face gave away the fact that the data files were very much to his liking.His bone face was curved into a grin and his sunken eyes were alight like twin suns. "Harpuia you have yet to disappoint me. One assault on that relic and you put it under." He said in throaty tone that didnt seem to match his form. Harpuia stood near the rooms entrance, his lifeless black eyes just staring at the man. "Thank you sir. Now what are we to do about the Resistance? Ciel, has been replaced by another Reploid as their commander. We have no real information on this Reploid replacement and our spy was killed when he tried to reeenter the base after getting this information to me." The mans grin faded and he scowled looking at Harpuia. "You know what to do Harpuia. Omega programmed it into you himself. ALL reploids are to be killed along with Ciel!" Growled the man. Harpuia was taken aback. His eyes widened and his jaw nearly fell open. This was insane. He was to kill a human?! That went against all the rules. Only Mavericks hurt humans. Even the criminal ones. The mans eyes narrowed even more into an all out glare. "Is there a problem Harpuia?" The Jade Green general shook his head. "N, no sir."

He was running. Thats what he was doing right now, running. After getting round a corner he stopped to think. Where is this place. He saw flashes in his head, some of being in some sort of work shop the others of escaping. His was brought out of his thought by the sound of footsteps, no not foot steps theses people were running too, they were after him!

He took off again going fast, his speed was impresive. It must have been why he had time to stop and think, they had just caught up to him. He was carrying something, a pole of some kind. He got it out, it was a triple rod. With one swift motion it extended with him doing a pole vault up to a building and then retracted once he had landed on his feet. He looked down close to the edge to see the people who were after him stop underneath where he had left the ground and they looked up and spotted him. He stepped back and the next moment they were up and walking towards him.

He didn't like this and he felt a surge of anger, "I don't like being pursued like an ANIMAL!". He didn't he could do it but he raised his left arm which looked a little more cylindricle in shape to the right, on his pam was a hole. It fired, a sonic ball that took the first one off the roof and he fell to the ground. It hadn't killed him but the impact on him was massive, he felt like a ton of bricks fell on him. He struggled to get himself off the ground and eventually got himself back up on the roof with a chain rod to see the other three soldiers where in peices and the subject was standing over they're parts with an extended triple rod.

The reploid launched his chain rod at him only for the subject to drop the the triple rod and jump sideways throwing a shield that took his head off.

When it was over he picked up his rod and shield and just sat down contemplating who he was.

Belgore stood on the parimiter of the resistance base camp, sighting scope in hands as he scanned the horizon. After sighting Zero earlier in the day, the area had been strangly quiet, exept for a couple small scuffles between two unknown repliods and a few groups of drones. So far, the two of them had yet to meet up, but both of them looked to be able to take care of themselves. So far, anyway.

Belgore turned to look at the camp, then back out to the surrounding area, these two probobly weren't worth leaving his post again, and he was allready chewed out once for doing so with Zero, allthough that one was overshadowed by the praise he recieved for assisting in the rescue. Shrugging, he'ld wait till his next report to do anything about these two.

Ace saw many reploids suddenly appear out of the shadows the reploids were a normal class and were no problem to take out. From beneath his shroud Ace raised his Buster cannon and fired several shots taking off most of the reploids heads off. Ace threw his shroud to the side and leaped into the air with a flip he came down with two slashes taking out the remaining reploids. Ace walked over slowly and picked up his shroud and pulled it back over his body the only part of him left opn was his face.

"childs play..." Ace smiled as he pulled the hood over his head and his face disappeared in the shadows. he leaped into the air and got back to his post where he still awaited zero's appearance.

His existence, thats what the nameless fiqure was thinking right about now. He resentfully pulled himself up from the ledge that he had gotten comfortable on and jumped up throwing his chain out catching onto one of the taller buildings and swung almost a block in distance before landing and turning to see more soldier drones.

Closer inspection showed they weren't after him however. He took a few steps back and then a running leap landing on the next building and looked down to see another reploid. This one seemed to have claws or paws of some kind and gun parts on one arm, it was then his curiosity was stopped as the drones came round the corner.

The other reploid saw them but He was still considering weather to help or not, was it really worth his existence or was his existence worth nothing, so helping would be a way of justifying it. He finally came to the conclusion that the other reploid could have answers that he didn't.

He took out his chain and with a few swings round built up momentum and let it go, the end of it catching round one of the drones head.

The whir of high speed gears and the groan of heavy machinery echoed through the maintenance room as the crimson hunter sat up placing his black gloved hand to his head trying to steady himself and shake off the disorientation. Where was he? The last thing he remembered was those drones chasing him and then his energy supply running out. With a frown he slid off the maintenance bed and looked around the dark room for a moment before walking out. Zero didnt get a foot out of the room before a smaller figure collided into him wrapping its arms around him.

"Zero! Your ok!" yelled the figure as it hugged him tighter. It was then that Zeros mind came fully online and he realized where he was and who was hugging him. The pink outfit and the white analyzing visor with the golden blonde hair. It was Ciel. And she seemed to be crying as she babbled on about how glad she was he was safe and was asking why they couldnt find him after the Omega disaster. Zero was about to answer when an alarm went off and several monitors which lined the hall he and Ciel were in flickered on. Harpuia was back and the other two generals were with him. Zeros eyes narrowed and he gently pulled Ciel away from himself. It was payback time.

Belgore was laying out cover fire as several of the other soliders got into position. Three of the generals were coming in fast, and bringing in a mess of X drones, more than Belgore has ever seen in one place. His shoulder cannons fired shot after shot into the masses, blowing several drones apart, but still they advanced.

A couple other relpoids ran past behind him, watching as he fired around after round. One of them looked to it's partner "Man, he's pissing steel up there"

All too soon the Advancing army got within melee range, and Belgore drew his chain rod, cracking it as a whip, bracing himself for the oncomming tide.

Zero ripped passed Belgore his Z-Saber fully repaired and flaring like an emerald green wave of death as he sliced and diced groups of X-Drones. Belgore continued to lay waste to the drones as well as provide cover fire for Zero and the resistance troops.

From high above the battle the three generals looked down upon Zero each one wearing a grin of anticipation. Zero was the only being EVER to defeat them on their turf and on their terms. To be honest it excited the Generals. All except Phantom who disappeared soon after his defeat by the ancient Maverick Hunter. "Levaeitan, you go first. Fefnir and I will cover you during the fight if the resistance trys to pull anything." Said Harpuia motioning to Zero who was now just a red blur tearing through X drones. The azure general smiled her eyes lightning up at the chance to take on Zero. She fell towards the earth pulling out her laser spear. She landed by grabbing onto Zero and knocking him on his back straddling him and raising her spear. "Hello lover." She said bringing the spear down only to have it met by the gleaming shield boomerang Zero had attached to his right arm. She growled and hopped off of him doing a quick flip to avoid a deadly slash by his saber. Zero deactivated his shield and pulled out his buster quickly pumping three plasma rounds into Levaeitan as she flipped through the air. The damage was minimal but it did knock her primary spear weapon out of her hands and into an X-Drone disabling it. Fefnir and Harpuia landed on the ground behind Levaeitan drawing their respective weapons. Zero now faced the three Arcadian generals at their best where as he was still recovering. Now the fight was really on.

Ace didn't find these tactics of fighting the generals were using. throwing his shroud donw on the ground in front of zero and leaping off the building next to him. "hey, i can't let them take you out already," Ace raised his buster cannon directing it at Harpuia. "You are the same general from last time, I thought you were a honorable fighter!" Ace smiled as the X-drones pushed on and were 100 feet away. "inee....meanee...minee.....AND MOE" he opened fire on the x-drones behind them and managed to take out a chunck of them. steam coming from his barrol as the generals looked at him funny as he looked like zero but was nothing like him. Not to mention his accuarcy was incredible as he shot every drone from between their heads.

Zero looked over at Ace as he knew his actions were not the best when it came to the generals.

Belgore looked back to see the base rallied and ready, all combat ready inhabitants were prepared to defend themselves, and several reploids and humans were allready manning the sentry guns. Those Drones that got into the base perameter were in for a rought time.

Belgore took another look through his scope, then smirked. He turned to the reploid beside him "Things look under control here, I'm going to assist Zero"

The other reploid responded "Your going to get chewed out again!"

Belgore smirked "Ask me if I care right now" Belgore took aim, then ran forward, fists pounding on any Drone foolish enough to get in his way. He swung his chain rod in an arc and let loose.

The chain wrapped around some wrackage above one of Fefnir. The general looked up startled, then he heard someone cry out "Incoming!" He looking forward just in time to See Belgore's feet crash into his Chest, knocking him onto his ass. Belgore jerked the rod free and smirked to Zero. "You look like you could use some help, Zero.. and even if you don't, I'm going to make sure you don't have all the fun"

Belgore didnt have time to act haughty over his suprise attack on Fefnir as Fefnir blasted him a good thirty feet back into some drones using his Buster cannons charge ability. The white and crimson general stood up and growled charging at Belgore with a murderous glint in his eyes. Levaeitan looked to Ace and tilted her head. "Theres two of him?" She said in a rather unenthusiastic tone.

"Regardless. we arent here for him." Said Harpuia as he summoned two Guardians. A burst of light shot up from the ground in front of Ace and Zero and two large Minotaur reploids appeared. from the steam rolling off their bodies and the fact they had horns made of the stuff Zero deduced they were ice chip carrying Guardian and so he whipped out his buster gun charging it in hopes of blasting one of their horns to unbalance them. Ace on the other hand decided to look for the Generals who had seemingly disappeared during the blinding light show.

OOC: Not one to miss out on an important fight.

IC: The reploid heaved the chain rod and tok off the drones head the next momet he had his hand up and aimed with a charged shot. The blast that came forth was a beam of concussive sonic energy. The tore through two of the drones and left a cleaving couge in the abandoned street.

By the time it was over other reploid looked round the see his mysteries assister was gone.

He bounded away on a few roof and stopped to notice the change. Just after fireing two halfs of a face plate slide out from the side of his helm covering his face, he quickly noted there was a zoom equipped in the helmet and looked round testing it out.

It was then in the distance he saw a fight taking place. The fight was grand, with powerful and experienced combatants. Deciding this was probaly worth a closer look he started heading in that direction deciding that he would take outt he drones s they were the same ones that came after him.

Few moments later.......

He jumped and came down with his triple rod impaling an X drone and then landing on it. It wasn't long before everyone took notice.

Belgore growled at his oversight. Of course they weren't after Zero, they were after Ciel! He eyed the current sutuation carefully, then turned to Zero "Zero, These minitaur are a distraction, I fear the Generals are after Ciel Your alot faster than me, I'ld never be able to keep up with those guys, so you'll need to go after them. I'll take my chances with these hornhead's here. Perhaps I can buy you a little time!"

Belgore turned his head as the minitaur began to Advance, Belgore jumped Back and Grabbed his cannon barrels to stabalise himself. He fired off several rounds, lettig the kickback send him flying backwards several feet. Enraged, the minitaur turn and started to chase him.

He had been cleaving through the ranks as if they were nothing, the more he fought the more he picked up on his subconciouse skill.

He swung his spear again with one hand taking the arms of an X drone, catching it he battered it across the head. He jumped up and noticed the charging minotaur. While still to reach the peak of height from his jump he took out his chain rod and clamped it round the drone and swung it into the minotaur where it wrapped round it's legs and caused it to trip and fall to the ground just short of reaching Belgore. Coming down and landing he took aim with a charged shot and fired. The shot caught the minotaur reploid and carried it along until it crashed into some hard concrete rubble.

When the dust cleared the minotaur reploid was still running but it's armour was badly cracked and it seemed unbalanced when it got to it's feet.

Zero nodded to Belgore and whipped around using a special upgrade that all reploids of his time were given. The dash function. This ability gave a reploid a momentary increase in speed that few if any could track or aim for. When the boosters in his legs kicked in all that was left of him was a trio of crimson shadows that faded away in seconds. While useful the dash function was only temporary and Zero couldnt even make it to the base before the function stopped and he was forced to run the rest of the way.

Ciel lay unconcious in the arms of Harpuia his normally lifeless gaze seeming a bit sad. He had harmed a human life. she wasnt dead but he had hit her. A reploid had caused a human pain. Wasnt he created to stop such acts? True Ciel was a criminal but she was human! He was a new age Maverick Hunter. His sworn mission was to save humans. WHY!? Why was he ordered to do this? Harpuias thoughts were cut short as his helmet radio crackled to life. "Bzzzzt..... Harpuia....Bzzzt. Abort mission and bring Ciel back alive.......Bzzt." Hearing that caused a sigh of relief to pass by Harpuias artifical lips. With that he stepped onto a Trans-Server activating it and entering a secure code for Neo-Arcadias core building. No sooner did it activate than did Zero rush into the room.

"She is ours now Zero. Come find her if you can." said Harpuia in his deadly serious tone a bit of confidence back in his body. Ciel wouldnt be killed by him or his generals. That brought some peace to his troubled mind. It was then that if Harpuia had a human heart it would of frozen over in fear. Zero didnt try to save her or even move. He just stood there and gave Harpuia a glare that he had never seen before. Zeros eyes gave off a look of caring for nothing.

"If she is harmed Harpuia. I'll kill you and every single human in Neo Arcadia." Said Zero in a tone so icy that harpuia could do no more than freeze in place as the Trans-Server teleported him and Ciel to the core building.

"Shot at the next one" just then the other minotaur came charging out. The reploid turned and shot the ground, the resulting effect being a small dip in the ground and a cloud of dust as cover.

The minotaur fell into the dip and lost balance due to the cloud over, the reploid was pounced with his spear and came down but the minotuar began swating andomly trying to get it's self out of the hole, in it's confusion it smacked an X drone that strayed too close. Be brought out his shield and activated it and put it underneath him as if standing on it. He impacted the minotaurs back and swung his spear connecting with the horn seperating it. He jumped up and away as Leo opened fire riddling it with holes and then Belgore let go of the ammunition he was holding, the minotaur was blown away it's peices scattering the ground.

Then everyone turned they'e attention back to the first.

Belgore saw the minitaur advance, so he kept backpedaling to avoid it's attack, this one seemed to be focusing on him, ignoreing the other two fighters. A smile crossed Belgore's lips "Leave this one to me!" He called "You two, the base is that way, go see if you can offer any assistance!"

Belgore turned and ran off, the Minitaur hot on his heels. He had the perfect area to deal with this creation. There was a small chasm near-by, and it would offer several conventiate ways to finish off his opponent. Jumping down the small ridge, the perfect idea snapped to mind.

When he reached the location he was planning on, he turned and fired a seemingly haphazard shot that flew several inches above the minitaur's head. The bestial repliod ducked needlessly, then growled and got up to renew it's advance. Belgore took another step back as some rumbling grabbed the minitaur's attention. It looked up and exerianced fear for the first time in it's life as a massive boulder loosened by Belgore's cannons can hurtling down at it. The guardian tried to jump forward, but it was still crushed beneath the boulder, the massive rock easily crushing 70% of the minitaur's body. The light faded from it's eyes after a few seconds, and the chilling aura around it's horns faded.

"Hmmm.. Those things carried ice chips. If I'm lucky, I'll be able to salvage them" Belgore walked over to the head and seperated it from the body with a well placed shot to the neck from a cannon "I'll just take this back to the camp. They'll have better tools to deal with it there"

Zero walked over to the Trans-Server and tapped a few buttons. The small screen hooked to it flickered on and a list of areas that were accessible appeared. four of them were Neo Arcadian concentration camps. These were the camps that Reploids were taken to to be retired. It was in those very camps that Zero first fought Omega. And if Zeros guess was right these camps were near Neo Arcadia itself. He silently thanked Cerveau for not deleting the cracked Trans Server codes Ciel had hacked over a year ago. "I'm gonna need back-up." Zero said with a frown as he stepped off the TransServer. He was indeed strong but the Generals as well as Neo Arcadia itself had gotten stronger. Much Stronger. Time against him and Ciel Zero rushed out to the battle field to gather what forces he could without leaving the resistance base defenseless.

Zero got outside only to step back again as a shattered X drone landed where he once stood. When he looked up from the drone he saw Leo and the unknown reploid approach.

Weather they would help him was unknown but they definitely weren't with Neo Arcadia as they ploughed through any X look a like that got in front of them. One unlucky X drone had tried to sneak up on the nameless reploid but it turned round and tossed the spear going straight through it and impaling the X drone to the wall faster than it could relise, with a launching of a chain rod that clamped on the X drone and a quick jerk it brought the drone back where the Reploid pulled it's spear from the shattered combatant and tossed it to the side.

It appeared as if Zeros assistance had arrived, being skilled, certainly not doing Neo Arcadias bidding and certainly not placed at this base. They seemed ideal.

Leo whipped around and turned his back on Zero as half a dozen more X's attackked. He launched another barrage of ammo from his min-gun and tore them to pieces. Another X leapt fropm the air and Leo wasted no time as he slashed through its face with his clawed hand and tore its face apart. He leapt away again and held his chain rod at the ready. He turned and looked over at Zero, while Leo might trust the other reploid he had no idea who this one was and therefore did not trust Zero at all, no matter who he was

The reploid spoke for the second time, his tone more sturdy and alert than when he was back on the roof screaming at the X drones out of clear anger. The voice was also different behind the face plate giving it a muffled sharp electric qaulity, "Zero, primary threat towards Neo Arcadia. Allied with the resistance". How he knew that was unknown but over the past few mintes of his life he had accepted that he could know a great deal of things and not be aware of it.

He turned round to Leo, "I will trust him" and then took a few steps toward Zero, "Will assist anyway possible".

The reploid seemed to have made up his mind, it was obvious Neo Arcadia was his enemy as they were to the Resistance, so to him it made sense to help the Resistance and anyone with them.

Belgore entered the room, dropping the Minitaur's head onto the floor, an icy gleem coming from his eyes. "I'm in too.. I have a feeling I'm come in handy. Lets just say I've learned a new trick I'm itching to try out." He closed his eyes, then when he re-opened them, they were back to thier normal appearance.

Zero nodded to Belgore, realising that the repliod had aqquired the ice chip from the fallen minataur. That would deffinatly be helpfull to have along.

Then Ace stepped into the room, covered once more in his cloak. He stared at Zero, and Zero stared back, then they both nodded silently to each other.

Belgore rubbed his hands togeather with a grin "So.. when do we do this?"

Ace uncovered his head with no expression on his face "soon....very soon" Zero was ready for the fight ahead. Ace smiled at the rest of the team but knew inside everybody was slightly scared to go up against the generals.
Ace cracked his neck as he walked over to the transporter. He eyed the locations they could go to. "zero you decide where we go first" Zero walked over to the control pannel and eyed it carefully....

Zero tapped a few keys and the group was transported away in a flash of light. When the light faded they were in a dilapidated facility with sparking lights only half attached to cielings and long dead X Drones rusting on the floor. Belgore looked around being the first to speak as he came upon a large mecha that was torn to pieces and seemed to resemble a gignatic angel. "What in the world is that thing? And where are we?"

Zero walked past Belgore with an emotionless look on his face. "That was Omega, the pirate copy of X. And this is the reploid concentration camp. Or whats left of it after I got done here." The others followed Zero doing their best to wade through the debris and broken drones. It seemed as if Zero knew where he was going. Then again he already had been here once and he was a legendary Maverick hunter. Things like this just seemed to come natural to him.

Ace followed behind everybody keeping to himself. The place was empty and seemed to have a dark feel to it. Ace didn't bother to do anything other then walk and listen as the others talked between the two. He was ready to take out the generals at all costs. He really was waiting for the chance to take each one out.

The reploid walked along with everyone else but stopped to pick up the head of the X clone Omega. He stared at it and then once again he got a flash of information and knew who it was. This constant feeling of hidden knowledge from him was beginning to infuriate him but after all it was one of the other reasons he came, his first memory of escaping from Neo Arcadia. What better place to find answers? he calmed down with this line of thought and dropped the head.

Belgore scanned the skys, checking for anything that could spot them from the air. He pulled out his sighting binoculars and climbed up onto some rubble for a better look around, scanning the surroundings for any sign off life for a few moments.

Satisfied, he put the binoc's away and slipped back down to his place beside Zero "You've been here before. Tell us what he should expect. Going in blind is going to make things difficult. " Belgore watched Zero cuatiously as they walked, waiting for an answer.

"To be honest I don't know. Neo Arcadia seems to have abandoned this facility. It used to be their core of operations. Now it looks like a junk heap. In my opinion one of two reasons may be the cause of this. They either have a bigger facility built now or they left this place derelict cause they were hiding something. Either one seems like a bad scenario to me." Said Zero as he continued to move through the debris. "Harpuia also seems different. When he tried to taunt me I could see in his eyes that kidnapping Ciel was something he didnt want to do. The fire he had when we last fought was gone from his eyes. He looked more like a slave than the replacement of Omega. Plus..."Zero didnt get to finish his last thought as the floor cracks and gave way plummeting him down a good fifty feet into a dark sterile room. Here none of the destruction or debris had reached. It seemed to be in perfect working order. With a loud crash Belgore landed beside Zero who was staggering to his feet a little off balance due to the fall.

"You alright there old man? Looks like your body cant handle these falls." Said Belgore in a semi taunting manner.

Zero just glared at him. "With age comes wisdom. And if you had that wisdom you would know that this floor is magnetized when the power is turned on. This is a human lab and Reploids arent allowed. We also need to restore power to get our barings and when we do so we will be bogged down by the magnetism and you will be paralyzed because of your heavy armor."

Belgore just blinked and looked at the floor. Granted it looked cleaner and different from the rest of the facility but how could Zero know if it were magnetized? Belgore shrugged and turned around only to be startled as Ace dropped down in front of him in the darkness. Jumping back Belgore slammed into a console and trashed it. That was a really big mistake. Tubes that lined the room lit up and expelled a glowing blue gas as they opened. One released a human his body sticking to the inside of the tube as wiring and certain cable were wrapped around him. Zero raised an eyebrow. Why would a human be here in stasis? He didnt have much more time to contemplate as more tubes released something a bit more harmful than the human. What came out of the tubes was a mockery of nature and an insult to all reploids. Humans grafted with reploid technology. They stumbled out of their prisons like zombies but some were becoming more aware of their sorrounding and raising some rather nastly looking Buster arm cannons at them with a full charge ready to release. "Time to see if you guys can hold your own against real Neo Arcadian scum." Said Zero as he dashed past Belgore and impaled one of the monstrosities on his Z-Saber. Unfortunately that didnt seem to do any good. The creature punched Zero and flung him across the room as the wound it recieved healed almost instantly. It was horribly obvious that these things werent going to be a push over. And why had only one of them seemed to be completely human still and unconcious at that?

OOC: By any chance would these things be called cyploids?

IC: He jumped down with a swift move stabbing one with his spear, starting from the top of the back of the kneck all the way down out of it's groin area. The reploid pulled his spear out and activated his shield using it as a barbaric type of club to bash the head in but it still moved. He stepepd back and fired repeatedly the sonic balls colliding into it and smahing it's reploid parts to peices while the less durable organic components splattered all over the pace from the force.

Noticing he had weapon that had some effect he began to open fire at will clubing the monstrosity;s into the wall with fluid of a bodily nature spraying everywhere.

Ace grinned as the human type reploids seemed to die but as the reploid who kept killing them (which Ace was unsure of what his name was) turned his back the reploids began to reform. Ace charged his electron cannon under his cloak and awaited it to charge completely. A reploid who was down leaped into the air and began to come down to attack them, before he came close to them Ace tossed his cloak to the side and opened fire on all the human type reploids. Every shot hit and each human type reploid began to have spasms and become aflame, just before they exploded Ace yelled "hit the deck!"

The group looked up in the smoke as depris began to rain down on them. The cannon i have has messed with their armor and caused it to overload. "Zero, shall we continue?".....

OCC:i knew that weapon would come in handy

ACE is the of this rpg

edit:sorry xenon the weapon can only be used once then its basicly use less for a couple hours and it can shot numerous times in one charge but i can tone it down if you want ...sorry again

OOC: Guyver 6, not yellin at ya but it looks like you took them all out using multiple shots which needed to be charged. I only counted one charged shot which could only have taken out a couple if they were close together. I'll let it go for now but just remember that next time. Plus since your using an EMP type weapon which is basically deadly to any and all machine I'd appreciated it if you gave it a cool down time to you cant use it repeatedly. That or I'm gonna give some of my nastier creations EMP proof armor.

IC: "After we check this one that wasnt mutated. Something is strange about him." Said Zero walking over to retrieve his saber before grabbing the human by his arm and lifting him up. It was a young man appearing no older than 17 with black hair. He had a rather sickly build being thin and with basically no muscular structure beyond what his body needed to function properly. With a thoughtful frown Zero slached away at the boys binding and dropped him. "He's alive. Well wait here until he regains conciousness and then we will question him on whats going on down here. Until then I want Ace and Belgore to go out an patrol the area for any spare energy sources. I'll go hunting for a proper exit." Zero looked to the unnamed reploid. "You stay here and guard the boy. With out luck more of those creatures are skulking around here." With that Zero leapt onto the wall and kicked off it using his dash ability to grab onto some steel grating which he pulled himself up into a maintenance shaft with. "We all meet back here in six hours. If your not here we leave without you." That said Zero ran off down the maintenance shaft to try and restore some power as well as find an exit from this garbage dump of a facility.

sho slowly began to become aware of his surroundings. when he was awake enough he tryed to open his eyes and immeditly regretted that idea as he wenced from the flood of bright light.

witha groan hesat up. "w-where am I" he asked with a confused look on his face. then looking down he add "and where are my cloths?"

it wa then that detacted movement and turned to see where it was coming form. he was shocked to see a human in some kind of stranage armor. the sock gave way to embassesment when he remembered he didn't have any clothes on and quickly move to cove himself.

" who are you, where am i, and where the heck ARE MY CLOTHES!"

Belgore nodded, then turned and walked off down a corrador. It's been a while since he was last in Neo-Arcadia, and the place didn't have many pleasent memories for him. Still, he had a job to do. He was sure ace was behind him, even though the other reploid didn't make so much as a sound.
"I know your back there, don't try and hide yourself.." He said without stopping.

Ace was a little confused by this, but nodded "Your better than your letting on.."

"Not good enough, I'm afriad" Belgore stopped for a moment and closed his eyes. "I don't think we're alone.. " His eyes opened and his body suddenly took on an icy sheen, and an visable auro of cold began to arround his cannon barrels as he activated his ICE WAVE form. He fired off a couple quick shots into the distance, hearing them thud into flesh and bone, and then there was a sickening crack as the material froze violently.

Several eyes began to light up in the corrador in front of them, revealing the presance of several more of those creatures. "Wonderfull. Don't think you could use that trick of yours again, do you?"

Ace shook his head "Needs to cool down a bit longer"

Belgore's fast twisted to a grin as his barrels began to hum with power "Good, that lets me try out something" Just when the first of the creatures lumbered into veiw, He fired. There was a loud BOOM as the shots went off in the enclosed space, and twin shockwaves erupted from his cannons. The shockwaves rocked through the hallway, freezeing the walls with a thick coat of ice. Whats more, all the monstrocaties of reploid parts grafted into human flesh were frozen solid. Unfortunatly, Belgore's cannons were full of ice, and would be unable to fire untill thawed. "Now THAT's a cool toy"

Ace rolled his eyes, then he and Belgore Continued one. Belgore deactivated his form and returned to his normal apprearance. As Belgore passed one of the weird beings, he kicked it in the leg. The cold made it super brittle and it snapped off. Now unbalaced, the thing fell to the floor and shattered. "Stay frosty, Ugly..."

Zero bounced off the walls of the maintenance shaft using his dash ability and the special gripped boots he was designed with. Combining these two things allowed older reploids like himself to actually climb up walls with enough momentum or just bounce off them at a high speed. That was until he landed on a shaky section of the shaft and it tumbled inward crashing into yet another dim laboratory. Zero stood scanning the room for a control panel. And just to the opposite of his current luck there was one sitting against a wall and this one appeared to be the generator control panel. wasting no time the ancient hunter ran to the panel flicking switches and pressing combination keys to restore power. His efforts were rewarded by two things. The first was the whirring of generators and the restoration of lights. The second was when the lights came on Zero saw he was sorrounded by those weird human reploid hybrids. One of them raised its buster cannon to fire at Zero but he quickly jumped over it and spun around dicing its head off. Two more came from the sides so Zero took out his chain rod and swung it in a wide arc cleaving the beasts apart. Now with a bit of room to work with Zero pulled out his Z-Buster gun and charged it releasing a few shots here and there to keep his attackers at bay. But it seemed that for every one that went down two took its place. And the remaining ones seemed to be eating their fallen brethren and growing. Things were looking horribly grim for the Crimson Hunter. That was until a familiar glowing sphere with crossing lines of energy appeared before him releasing a wave of energy that knocked his foes away. The sphere soon spoke in X's voice.

"Zero, your current Z-Buster isnt properly equipped to handle these creatures. But I can help you." With that the sphere shot a blast of azure energy into Zeros helmet crystal. "This is all I can do for you now Zero. Please use this wisely." With that the sphere disappeared. Soon after a lights sorrounded Zero and warped around his form as his armor changed and his Z-Buster dismantled itself in mid-air then reattached to his arm looking uncannily similar to X's powerful X-Buster cannon. When the light faded Zero was now wearing deep blue armor and his eyes were shimmering green much like X's used to.

"I understand now X." said Zero as he raised the arm cannon issuing a high pitched powered turbine like squeel from it as it fired a gigantic white and crimson wave of plasma energy that completely vaporised several foes. Zero pointed the gun at another group and then aimed behind them firing at a tank of volatile chemicals. Time seemed to slow as when he fired he dashed passed them actually matching speed with his attack. However, the awe he felt at this new form was short lived as the resulting explosion knocked him out of the room and into the maintenance shaft once more. Staggering to his feet Zero felt the energy surge leave him and his Z-buster returned to its normal hand held state. Power was restored, more of those things were dead, and he had a new form. All in all the wounded hunter thought things had gone rather well. Save for the fact his armor was pretty scorched when it returned to its normal crimson color. With a sigh Zero headed back to the first lab.

OOC: Guyver 6 My character didn't take them out with his gun, he only gave them quick shots to damage and hold them at bay. The only one he actually killed was the one where he busted it's head in.

IC:When the human on the floor woke up the reploid was using the time to think of a name for himself but that wuld have to wait. He looked at the distraught human, "Calm down, I'll see if I can get you something to wear". He walked around the lab and tore the doors of some cabinets and lockers open to find a lab uniform, grabbed them and walked over giving them to the teenager on the floor.

"Here, these should do until something more adeqaute is found"

Sho looked around on the alert and put the cloth's on while the reploid turned round, "Thanks, but now who are you, and where am I. Tell me"

"All I know is your a human who we found in this lab, the lab being in an old Neo Arcadia peice of area. Your lucky in my opion, there was other people here but they had been grafted with reploid parts, used in some experiments I think"

"Who are you and what the hell is a reploid" said sho who looked himself over incase anything had been done to him.

"I'am a reploid, an artifial intelligence driod. And nothing has happened to you, if it was, it would be apparant right away" He pointed to the other things in the lab and Sho got the point.

"Well what do you want me with me and yoyu said we earliar, who's we"

"We are the others that are here, they'll be back soon enough and as for you, just information if you have any about why your here and what happened. Anything else"

Mod Edit: Astro, the unnamed Reploid was sparky's character. He kept his character nameless for a reason that is of yet known only to him. You need to pay more attention to these things. Since this is my first day as a mod, I'm only giving you a warning, I won't be so leniant from now on though. Sorry, but you'll have to think of a differant way to get into the story, feel free to pm myself or Xenon if you need help.

Suddenly the lights came on in the corridor, and a low humming noise immediatly captured Belgore's attention as he was frozen in mid stride. The magnetic floors activateing all over the complex. Belgore's heavy frame made it near immpossable for the cannon bearing reploid to move.
"Zero's gotten the power back on" He muttered through clenched teeth.

With great effort, Belgore managed to step forward, but only far enough to put the foot that was in the air down. Once that was done, he was effectivly frozen in place. "Stronger.. than.. I .. thought.. I don't.. suppose.. you have.. a flamethrower" He grumbled, each word a strain due to the magnetic feilds.

Ace laughed at this sight his strength made it easy for him to move yet he was still slower. "no but i can gimmie rig one." Belgore didn't find this funny "yeah that would be great!" Ace ripped a huge gas pipe off the wall and twisted the end to close it so no gas leaked out. "hold on i wanna make you suffer for a second....." Ace pushed Belgore to the side and he fell to the ground with a thud. HAHAHA Ace began to cry by his laughter. "well ok here you go" ace opened the pipe and used his buster cannon to start it.

The buster ignited the gas, cuasing the ice frozen along the floors and walls to melt. There was a crakle, and hiss, then the magnitic plates down this hallway shorted out. Unfortunatly, even with the heat, Belgore's cannons were still half frozen.

Shaking himself off, he got up and glared at ace for a moment. Then he continued on. Ace looked at him curiously. "How did you know the water would short out the magnetics"

Belgore shrugged. His previous involvements with Neo-arcadia were nothing he was proud of. He had heard only hushed rumors of this facility before, but still had a decent idea where he was going "Call it a lucky quess, comon, time's wasting.."

IC: Asgaurd walked throug the Lab, He was sent to help them out and it was his first mission for the resistance. He waked slowly through a lab but was suddenly magnitised to the floor, but before he could react it was gone again. "Oh well" Asgaurd said as he moved in to a room. Unknowing to him there were several things coming twords him.

Belgore looked down the next corrdador, finding it clear of the strange half reploids. However, the magnet floors down that hallway were still functional, and his guns were still frozen and unnusable "Remind me to carry around a hair dryer from now on.. It'll make that new form so much more effective"

Ace raised a brow, then looked back the way they had come. "And all the water back there's been used up. We'll have to wait untill you can do that trick again"

Belgore shrugged. "Hopefully next time I'll be used to the blast, so it won't freeze me over compleatly.. I'm nearly defencless like this.." He hissed out. For a moment, it seemed he was lost in thought, then shook his head "Doesn't matter.. how long had it been"

Ace shrugged "hour or two tops, we've got time.."

Belgore nodded "Good, I have a feeling we'll find what we're looking for down this hall.."

sho gave the clothes he was wearing a look of disgust, but he was thankfull for them none the less. however he never did like waering chronos issue suits. they made him feel dirty....morally unclean.

slowly but surely his memory was coming back. after the fall of chronos many of it's followers had gone into hiding and formed small resistance cells. sho for his part had joined the UN hunter teams assined to hunt down and destroy them. one of these cells had been learned how to make cyber enhanced zoanoids and it was in one of these base that he'd been assined to investagate(sp).

"so what went wrong? how had he ended up in the bio-tank? and who were these people that had weapons that shouldn't exsit yet."

it was in the middle if these thaoughts that the floor became magnitised and seeing the man in battle armor drop to the floor sho ran over to help.

"the floors become magnitised. it's one of the defenes of the lab, if we can get you out of this armor you should be fine until we find a way to turn it off. "

sho searched for a switch or any way to get the armor off the helpless man, but for some reason couldn't. it was then that he noticed something odd. when ever he felt the mans skin it was cool and metalic feeling.

sho stoped looking for the release lever and looked the man in his eyes. there sho found all the proof he needed to the questions forming in his head.

this was no human in battle armor but an extrmely advanced cyber warrior.

The reploid was ground to a halt on the floor, unable to move. Unlike ace who merely had a solid outer armour that was vunerable to magnetics, he had an unknown level of technology which was probaly even more suceptable than Ace. There was something else he remmebered, He should be immune to this. He didn't know why but he knew that this shouldn't effect him in this way. Just something else to add to the list of unknowns.

It was then his atenion was drawn towards Sho who was giving him an intent glare of interest, "Try looking for some type of power cable or something running into the floor. Then I'll be able to move again"

"So your basicly an andriod" said sho who was looking round the room.

"Yes, I suppose thats a correct assumption"

Sho, "So like, how long have you been active"

"A few hours to my knowledge, but I have recellections of being in other places and knowing things that I shouldn't be able to for someone who has only been alive for a few hours"

Sho, "Your alive, sorry to say this but your a machine"

"An extremely advanced machine I might add and yes I consider myself alive. How about you, how do you know your alive"

Sho, "I just am, I'am walknig around speaking aren't I"

"Well so am I"-then he remembered he was stuck to the floor-"In a manner of speaking. Besides what is life, can science or philosiphy clearly define what being alive or what a life form is"

In the middle of that conversation Zero leapt out of the maintenance shaft which was conveniently located by a circuit breaker in the lab. With a solid swing of his Z-Saber the breaker was destroyed and the magnetic floor as well as some of the lighting and door locks were shut off. With a thuf the ancient reploid landed on the ground and stood up eyeing the now concious human. A thoughtful frown crossed his features as he put his Z-Saber away and walked up to the boy. Though he looked at the boy he spoke to the unknown reploid. "He isnt mutated or under any outside influence?" The reploid just nodded as it stood up shaking off the dizzying effects of the Magnetized floors. Zero then spoke to the boy. "So who are you and what are you doing in a Neo Arcadian weapons lab? And what is it about you that makes you immune to this hybrid experiment?"

Belgore suddenly felt the magnitism of the floors die out. "Curious, the powers still on, but the floors don't seem to be charged anymore"

Ace shrugged "Maybe Zero hit a switch or something"

Belgore rolled his eyes. They proceaded down the corrador and to two doors. "I'll take the one on the left, you get the one on the right, agreed?" Ace nodded, then went off into the right door. Belgore opened the left and went inside. The only thing in the room was some elaborite computer equipent with a single terminal. A ew scientists lay about in varios poses, most of them missing large chunks of flesh in most places " Lovely, not only are the abominations armed, they're cannabalistic too.." Belgore shook his head, then went up to the console, tapping a few keys.

At the password promt, he typed in "ARCADIA" and wasn't the least bit surprised when he gained access. "Lets see what this thing has.. might tell us what exactly these things are." Skimming through the files, he ran across one file familiar to him. He mouthed out the name of the file, then pulled it up. The file was heavily incripted, do he downloaded it to a disk for later use, then put the disc in his satchel with his sighting scope.

Then he pressed a few buttons and printed out the files on the experament going on within the lab "Strange they would do these things.. Hopefully this project 7-2-Beta isn't active yet.. " He took the printed files and headed out the door, just in time to see Ace emerge from his own, holding a few packs of energy crystals.

"These were all I could find, they had a few elemental hips inside, but they were all broken, and a few dead humans along the floor, what you get?"

"I found a few interesting files, but no map on how to get out of here.. this should be enough, lets head back" Belgore replied. Ace nodded as the two began to head back.

Several blips appear on Asgaurd's radar. Asgaurd turns around to find several smallones heading in his direction. As for the others that he was sent to be back up he had no clue where they were or what condition they were in. "Great im lost and im in trouble." As for the others it seems that there was a back up security system, and unfortunitly for them it was releasing a large amont of these human/reploid abominations in retaliation.

Belgore was skimming through the files he had printed out involving these stange half human half reploids. "Mmm.. so thats how they do it" He said outloud

"Do what?" Ace asked

Belgore mentally smacked himself for forgetting about Ace behind him "They're so reseiliant due to certain aspects dirrived from their hybrid nature.. not only that, but they absorb their wounded to increase in power.."

Ace raised a brow for a moment, then shrugged "The ones you took care of didn't live long enough to try that, did they?"

"Nope, sure didn't" Suddenly, he heard the sound of weapons fire. "Ace, somethings going on in the next hallway!" Belgore ran ahead and jumped sideways into the hall. Mechanical brain quicky asessing the situation and aiming each cannon right at the head of a couple of the strang zombies assaulting a reploid he's seen once before at the resistance bace. The shells slammed into the heads of the two hybrids and blew thier proccesors out, sending them limp to the floor.

"Aim for the heads, and don't let them crowd around thier wounded!" Belgore cried out to Ace as this other reploid as he fired off several more shells.

OOC: Amen to that BloodStorm, I pm'd him about posting so we could continue the story but he dinged me .

IC: The reploid ran out the lab after hearing the shots leaving Zero and the human to talk.

After running for a bit he skidded down a hall extending his spear and carving it into the ground causing him to turn sharply round a corner still retaining some speed and started runing again all with the skil of a master.

Jumping against the wall and kicking off from that he sent himself round and down the next corner like a missile and swung his spear taking the head of one of the zombies and then thrusting out spearing another straight through the torso, noticing there was one coming up from behind that he pushed forwards simultaniously spearing that one also. With a massive heave the spear came up cuttin through the upper torso's of the hybrids and they fell to the ground.

IC:Zero's green eyes looked on at the retreating forms of his allys as they went to battle more of the reploid/human beasts. Zero then looked back to Sho and decided he had best give the boy the full history lesson. "As to the question of who and what I am, my name is Zero, an advanced cybernetic lifeform called a Reploid. The reason you think I shouldnt exist is because you've been in a stasis tank for a good two centuries. My weaponry while advanced is in this time considered obsolete when compared to that of Neo Arcadia. And Neo Arcadia is one of the last human cities on this planet." Zero put a hand to his chin thinking of a way to explain reploids to Sho in terms he might understand. Then he remembered, Thomas light created Rock the prototype for X in the mid-ninties. Maybe Sho knew of DR. Lights experiments. "Back in your time a cybernetic organism named Rock was created by Dr. Thomas Light. I and the others are more advanced versions of himself. For now that is all you need know. You and the others need to get out of here. I dont wanna know what else is down here." Said Zero scanning the dim room.

Meanwhile.
Several of the hybrid creatures stumbled into a large room covered in debris from the battle between Zero and Omega a year ago. In the center of this Debris was the dead form of Seraphim Omega the second stage in the X copies evolution. The copy had a huge gash in its head, a mark left by Zero's ancient weapon the Z-Saber. Oddly though that gash sealed up as several of the hybrids latched onto Omegas body and began to absorb it as well as Omegas nearly identical design to X giving them the ability to 'evolve'. Thus armed the hybrids could now think like a proper reploid as their brains had assimilated Omegas programming as well as his unbridled hate for Zero and the resistance. In a flash of movement the Omega Hybrids were gone. The hunt was now on.

OOC: and now, to introduce someone that might need an introduction, since no one's seen him in over half a year.. This is a introductionary post for Ghrecki's character.

Somewhere in the deepest parts of the lab, a stasis tube was just now experiancing power for the first time in over a year. Protocols began to run, and pre-arranged programs began to awaken the form inside. Slowly, steam hissed as the door swung open and the figure stepped out. It's form was obscured in smoke, but the shadowy figure's eyes glowed through the steam as it realised why it was awakened. It's form almost quivered for a moment, then he walked out of the room.

Moments later, when the smoke cleared, the discription "7-2-Beta" could be seen on the side of the tank... that is if anyone was around to see it, of course..

The unit 7-2-BETA was exploring his surroundings, dispite the fact that he had a detaled map of the surounding area built in he cheacked any way, looking for something to kill "7-2-BETA is no name for a General" It looked at its arm as blades sproted out of the shifting aromor. "Shyft" he laughed as the blades danced for a bit across his form.Then, as he finally finished acessing himself, decieded to check out the power falure of the magnetic floors."Time to see who I get to thank for waking me up" His armor shifted as he grined, for a second he looked lik a hideous copy of zero then returned to his 'true form'

He was headed for it when he heard gun fire on the floor above "Time for some fun.". He looked up and extended his polyblades. then lept up and slashed a hole though the floor, surprising the reploids there for a second. "You look fun" He grinned, then lashed out at Belgor with his blades.

Belgore cried out as the blades cut gashes into his side armor, then turned and fired directly at this new fighter. However Shyft ducked aside even in the limited distance and the rounds thunked into the wall, blowing out chunks of material. Belgore growed, this guy was as good as a General.. it wouldn't be easy to take him.

Immediatly he activated his ice chip and fired off a few shells from his cannon, one of witch thunked into Shyft's side and made a rather nice hole in the armor, which froze over instantainiously. "Gotcha" Belgore smirked, then the smirk turned into a frown as the armor rippled and expelled the chunk of ice from it's form. "Oh crap..."

Shyft was about to move forward and attack again but the nameless reploid calmly walked in front of Belgore and it's spear extended, "Combat the hybrids, your fire power is far more useful in that context"

Shyft, "Well well, what have we got here"

"No-one of consequence and you"

Shyft grinned, "7-2-BETA but you can call me Shyft, and your name would be"

"I'am nameless"

Both fighters took a stance and then charged, the reploid swept his spear low and sweeped Shyft off his feet not quite being fast enough to dodge it but he flipped back up and and some blades appeared along the arms which were swung into the namelsss reploid ready to cleave his head off, he got his spear up though blocking it but Shyft kicked out. The reploid brought his left leg up at an acute angel and caught the kick causing him to be carried into the air, he dropped his spear as he had to use both hands to brace himself on the approaching corner peice of ceiling and then back flipped down the wall. Landing he flung his chain rod out catching his spear and pulling it back to him. He would have to watch, he was that bit faster but this other was stronger.

OOC: Okas people, Ghecki has given me limited controll of his character when he can't post (or is too lazy to get around to doing so) so I can use him to keep the story moving. But don't worry, no more kidnapping people with weird convoluted subplots that only I know about.

Shyft threw his head back and laughed. "Impressive, you think your speed will give you the edge, do you? Well then.." Shyft's body quivered for a moment, then adopted a more streamlined state. He looked up at the un-named Reploid and lept at him in a blur of speed matching the unnamed one's own.

"What the?" He managed to gasp out in surprise, then the silvery metal fist slammed into his stomach. Several tendrils snaked out of Shyft's armor to wrap around the unnamed one's joints to hold him immoble.

"I beleave there was once a song that would reflect your situation.. how did it go? Oh yes.. something along the lines of 'Anything you can do, I can do better" Shyft laughed heartily. Ace jumped in and tried to cut his friend loose, but a quick movement from shyft's free arm pulled a bustergun from his hip, firing a half charged shot into Ace's chest, sending him flying back in several feet.

"Interesting.. three reploids have tried to fight me, and three reploids have failed. Too bad, too bad." Shyft grinned, then activated his dash mode and lept strait up, letting the nameless one go and cutting his way through several layers of floor.

Belgore managed to pull himself to his feet, one hand holding his injured side. "Did he say 7-2-Beta?" The nameless one nodded. "Dammit.. so he's activated.. I have some files Zero needs to see.. NOW" Belgore said, motioning to the folder with the information he had printed out.

OOC: If anyone seen the message that was here before I edited it, that was my brother when I left the room.

IC: The reploid stood up and he went into a self automatic systems check, the results were no damage. Once again this was a little frustrating but it was nice to know he could check himself over.

He grabbed his spear and and with a quick swing took the head off one of the approaching hybrids. He looked up and saw some small peices of wreckage fall down from where Shyft escaped, "He'll be back"

Already planning the strategy to fight that thing he approached Belgore, "You found something, what was it"

Belgore was about to answer when they're attention was drawn to a bright flash and an amazing armoured being jumping up, as soon as the being was out of site though Omega hybrids moved in coming from all sides. The reploid spun round with a kick at one of the O-hybrids but it jumped back and punched out, ducking down fast and positioning his spear right the O-hybrid impaled it's self there and then flipped it over useing the spear as a brace and then pulled it out of the creature on the deck and watched as it got up. These were completely different from what they had just been fighting and were going to take a little ingenuity to beat.

sho ran out of the room to see what all the noise was about. seeing that the hunters had there hands full with the very things he was sent to stop and was all set to help them when he spoted the others getting there butts kicked by a new Reploid.

"if these Reploid are like the rock i heard about then i'll give them my help." sho thought to him self as he ran down the hall. when he was a few feet form the whole that Shyft made he under went a transformation that had not been seen in over 200 years.

"GUY-VER!" immeditly the room was filled with a bright flash of light as a barrier shield engulfed sho. an instanted later an demonic looking armored being appeared behind him and seem to hang in the air before bursting open sending out hundreds of tentacles that warped them selfves around sho before reforming the being around him.

as suddenly as it had appeared the lighted faded reviling the slayer of chronos. with stoping sho jumped up and though the whole. once on the next level it didn't take long to find Shyft.

fireing off to head beams that hit the floor near his feet to get his attention, sho droped into a fighting stance. "how about trying me on for size."

A larger Omega Hybrid which seemed to be the collective brain of them all had slipped away in the battle to find Zero. Omegas conciousness wanted Zero dead for the embarassment that was caused when the ancient Reploid had killed him. A hiss escaped its malformed face as its optical sensors shimmered crimson. "Sssszzero...."

Meanwhile back in the lab Zero's eyes narrowed as he felt he was being watched. That feeling was one he had come to rely on for many years since the Maverick Wars started and he and X were partnered together in the 17th unit and then eventually the Special Class A 0 unit. The crimson hunters senses were right as a deformed version of Seraphim Omega shot out of the darkness its hand disintegrating and leaving a powerful mutated X-Buster in it's place. A beam of powerful blue plasma ripped forth from the arm gun but Zero's speed allowed him to barely dodge it.

"Sssszzzero..." Hissed the monstrosity as it charged its gun again.

"Your still just a pirate copy. You'll never be X." Came Zero's reply as he drew his Z-Saber lining it up on the part of the face he had slashed Omega in originally over a year ago. "Time to retire." With that Zero rushed Omega who met him head on with three Saber blades that extended like claws from its X-Buster. Unprepared for that Zero leapt back doing a flip and pulled out his Z-Buster firing off a few quick shots into Omegas torso. To his suprise the ex Neo Arcadian commander absorbed the destructive plasma energy and his body actually began to heal itself with the energy.

"Ssszero....diiiiie...." A halo of power ripped outward from Omegas chest slamming into Zero and shutting down his dash system as well as his good arm which held his saber in a death grip. The Omega clone stalked forward but was halted as four plasma daggers were embedded in its form and then exploded simultaneously causing it to fall back and retreat into the lab to recuperate. Zero looked up through a hole in the cieling where he fell in and just caught a glimpse of his savior. A figure in a black cloak with a red scarf. Why did he seem familiar? Grunting as he rose Zero activated several system subroutines to restore power to his arm and dash system. Omega was back and more powerful and there was a new player in the game. This could get really ugly thought Zero to himself as he ran off down the hall to help his comrads.

Shyft's eyes narrowed at the guyver's arival, but didn't seem to give it too much concern. "Interesting.. you might be a good fight.." With that, the general pulled out both his buster guns and ducked down the near hallway. Sho of course followed him down, but had to duck quickly as a couple of plasma bolts wizzed by his head.

"That orb on your forhead, that's your weakness, isn't it? You seem rather protective of it don't you? Good to know these things I'll have to remember that." A couple more shots wizzed through the air, keeping Sho off gaurd.

Shyft fired a couple more shots, then took off down another corrador "Catch me if you can, human" He laughed, then lept up into the nearby ventilation shaft, using his tendrils to pull him along like a spider through the narrow compartments.


Elsewhere
Belgore fired off a few more charged shots at the Omega-hybrids, relying on the frozen blasts to catch the hybrids in the splash and slow them down for the others to deal with more effectivly. Within a matter of moments, the hybrids were taken care off, but Belgore's cannons were frozen over once again.

"I really need some better anti-freeze" He said coldly. He got up, then took a couple steps, his left leg responding a little slow "Must have cuaght deeper than I thought.. I should be fine though."

"Maybe you should have that looked at" Ace offered

"I SAID I'll be fine.. lets just get this information to Zero"

Asgaurd turns to the side wall. "It seems i have found them. And there be trouble too!." Asgaurds internal engin kicks in with a soft whir. He raises his arms and slams in to the wall with full force. On the other side debri and metal fly in random directions. Asgaurd stands them with live wires dangling around him. "LUUUUUCY YOU HAVE SOME EXPLAINING TO DO!!!!!"

OOC: Well I'am sick too, I've been coughing my guts up with a throat infection for the past weeek but it hasn't stopped me.

IC: The reploid yanked his spear from an O-hybrid's body on the ground after it got stuck there and caught up to the others, "Fire elemental chip"

"What?" was Belgores response slightly aggresive and annoyed thinking it was about his leg again.

The reploid seemed to be paying more attention to his suroundings looking round but he did hear Belgore, "Find a fire elemental chip, rotating between the two would solve your problem"

Belgore, "Oh yeah, right"

Sometime later.....

The group walked back into the lab and found Zero with obvious signs of conflict, "What happened"

Zero, "Old acqaintence, where's Sho"

"That thing that went after Shyft, it must have been him. I'll go find him" The reploid left the lab leaving the other three to talk and went back to where Shyft made his escape and the new armoured one, which could only have been Sho went after him.

With some agility he followed path of holes Shyft had made. Getting to the last one though he was right underneath it and looked up watching as some shots careered by. The two armour plates sliding down over his face from his helmet getting him ready for combat again he poked his head up and looked round.

He silently slipped up through the hole and took cover and watched Sho who had alsoo taken cover but was a little closer to Shyft. Sho's sensory orbs picked him up and he looked round ducking down from his cover as more shots fired over head.

Sho recoqnised the reploid as the first one that had watched in the lab but it's face was covered, as if to verify who it was one of the face plates slid back tempoarily and the reploid noded before it sealed shut again and watched as he moved round. Sho got the idea and keept up the pretence that he was the only one there having all Shyfts attention drawn towards him.

The nameless reploid had creeped round some rubble and crates getting close and then with no sound at all got to the cieling holding onto pipes and basic large cracks in the solid roof, once he was in position he dropped down simultaniously extending his spear but Shyft barely with time to spare noticed him at the last second and moved only just missing the impaling weapon but the reploid landed on his feet compared to Shyft who still wasn't ready and gave a swing hitting his torso and knocking him back.

The blow hit Shyft back causing him to fall into a pile of material and other such rubble behind him. Seeing the oppurtunity Sho moved fast and closed the gap coming up close to the hussle.

OOC: I'ld like to know how the unnamed guy can surprise Shyft from above when shift is in the ventilation shafts still.. ah well. I'll let it go. You've been pretty good about keeping track of things for a while sparky, and they might be large enough shafts for that to happen. so eh, It's fine. I'm just rambling Carry on.

Belgore handed Zero the files he had printed out "These files seem to cover in full what ever the hell these hybrids are, but I couldn't find a good reason of WHY they were made.. plus the last Section gives Details on this 'Shyft' Character as he calls himself.. project 7-2-Beta. Guy's an asshole.. plus if he's half as powerfull as the read out say, we're in for a load of trouble."

Zero quickly opened the files and skimmed over the pages "Hhhmmm, not what I sent you after, but important none the less.."

"Oh yes, and Ace found some energy pacs we can use, they seem unharmed, allthough all the elemental chips in the room seemed to be purposely destroyed.."

Shyf's Location
Shyft growled and spun around in a low spin kick, knocking both assailents off thier feet. Moving from that into a hand spring, he sailed over thier heads and ran down another corrador.

"Tricky bastard" The nameless one hissed.

Shyft turned another corner and pulled his busters out, charging them to full power and walking up to a console. He shifted the grip on the busters to a couple tendrils, he started Typing in a few commands. Hearing the sounds of foot steps behind him, he let both busters fire, sending two high powered shots down the narrow hallway that was the only entrance to this room.

A few seconds later, a trans server came online, and he stepped up to it, waiting for his pursuers to clear away the rubble "This was indeed a merry chase, and I'll make sure to personally take care of you both sometime later.. but I have someone I need to talk to, and they don't know it yet." He stepped through the portal right as Sho and the reploid entered the room. Sho ran up after him, but the nameless reploid shouted out a warning that came seconds too late.

The trans gate over loaded and the portal died down. Seconds lated, the entire thing began to spark, and Sho realised what was about to happen. His eyes went wide inside his guyver armor as the gate exploaded, and he puts his arms up in an attempt to sheild himself from the blast as the shockwave blew him across the room.

Back down below
Ace had gone around and introduced everyone to the reploid that came through the wall, the one known as Asgard. Zero was still examining the files when everyone heard the explosion. All at once they looked in it's direction.

"This can't be good" Belgore sighed.

OOC: On the contrary BloodStorm I did keep track but I fiqured that during the time (rpg time) it took for the Ace, Belgore and the nameless one to get back to the lab, have that small conversation with Zero, then travel back again to the location of the escape route and then finally follow that to find the two it would have come out the ventilation by that point.

IC: The repliod picked himself up from the wall he was blown against and looked to the side where a masive peice of metal had gotten stuck mere inches from his head. Once again doing his systems check he was fine but he didn't look it as his armour was toasted, dusting himself off he went to check on Sho who wasn't so lucky being much closer to the blast. He too looked like a toasted peice of chicken but by bringing his arms up he protected his control medal

He reached down and offered a hand to Sho who accepted it and was helped to his feet, "You be alright"

Sho, "Yeah, my control medals undamaged so the unjury's will heal, you"

"No systems damage. Your amour heals?, does it heal you?" asked the reploid, he had never heard of anything like that before. Sure he didn't know things but he knew he had some idea about some stuff but he had never heard of a combat armour that heals the human user.

Sho "Yes, as long as my control medal is intact"

"What types of machines are in the suit"

Sho, "I'am not precisely sure I didn't make it, besides it's not a machine type suit. It's a symbiotic organism"

"Where did the ceature come from and what is it's source of energy"

Sho sighed as the two walked back to the lab, this was going to be a long walk.

Fefnir stood at the edge of a cliff overlooking the ruined complex that was once Master X's home and also a Reploid retirement plant. Now it was just a derelict hollow where nothing lived save for the Resistance soldiers who were now defiling his masters resting place. The white and red general growled as he charged the Buster cannon on his right arm aiming it at the facility. As he did this hundreds of X-Drones equipped with the latest weaponry including laser cannons and strength enhancing exoskeletons swarmed the base from seemingly out of nowhere. Fefnir cackled as he fired a powerful blast into the collapsed entrance of the complex clearing a way for his soldiers to enter. "Find them and 'retire' them !" Howled the general as he leapt from the cliff towards the base and his nemesis Zero.

An explosion rocked the base forcing Zero to regain his balance. "Overkill for an entrance. Must be Fefnir...But does he know whats down here?" Though Zero aloud. "He quickly tapped the side of his helmet to activate his com link to the others reploids. "We all have a problem. Fefnir has opened the base and I'm sure he doesnt know whats down here. We had best evacuate before this becomes a slaughterhouse with us inside. Find Sho and lets move!" With that Zeros com went silent and he rushed out of the lab going over mental maps in his head searching for the best way to escape without being caught in the eventual crossfire between the drones, Fefnir and those things as well as that mutated Omega.

"Interesti...." The reploid had stopped his sentence before it got going as he received a message from Zero.

Sho took notice and asked what was up, "It's a message from Zero, Fefnir a general from Neo Arcadia has opened up this complex and it seems that he doesn't know about the hybrids or any of the other suff down here. If we find the others quickly enough though and get out we may get lucky and they'll kill each other with us watching from the sidelines. Stand Back"

The reploid stretched his arm out and opened his hand charging up his sonic cannon. When powered up to maximum he fired the blast, the almost invisible like shoot travelling forwards and punching through the floor back down to he next level. As the dust settled he and Sho jumped down and continued on until something caught the reploids eye.

The face plates retracted and he looked over a terminal. "Come on, we don't have time for sight seeing" called Sho.

"Hold for just a minute" He began pushing buttons and found the terminal was holding a Cyber elf, what kind though he was unsure but it was a cyber elf none the less and could be nothing but useful. Pushing more buttons he primed the program and hooked up to the terminal. With a final push of the good ol enter key the Cyber Elf was loaded up.

As soon as he finished he dis-connected himself from the terminal and sprinted like hell with Sho accessing it as he ran and then a little close to high pitched femanine voice rang in his head, "Good day my name is Passy, I will be your Cyber elf for the duration of whatever time we have together, plz enjoy it while you got it"

"Whats your function" he said out loud and Sho just looked at him funny like, "Repair of course" responded Passy as if it should be common knowledge, "That is useful" he said outloud in thought.

"Who are you talking too" said Sho looking a little worried inside the guyver armour incase he was with an insane robot.

"Passy, a Cyber elf. Function repair" Sho suddenly stopped but it wasn't because of the news of the Cyber elf, it was ecause his sensory orbs picked something up on the other side of the wall, "I think the others are on the otherside"

"How can you tell"

Sho, "You have your tricks and I have mine". The reploid raised his arm again to blow through the wall with a charged shot but Sho stopped him, "Let me"

Sho held out his hands forming a pressure cannon and let it loose, the intense black swirling gravitional energy speed towards the wall blowing it away leaving nothing but a cloud of dust, "Impressive" said the reploid and the went through to see the others ready to pounce on them with the thought of total destruction if they were enemy's.

"Found Sho" said the reploid as Guyver 1 came behind him, "And a Cyber elf too, but it talks too much"
