I am going to attempt to, design and build my own 2d rpg using rpg maker 2000. Not sure what the story line will be but, it may incorporate a certain green, sword swinging, ass kicking hero.
Does anyone have any tips on how to make this idea an reality.

Rpgmaker 2000 is pretty easy to work with from my experiance.. Wish I knew where to get a new copy, since the computer I was using it on died like, four years ago.

yeah. blood's was a great game. mine..... probably would have been good if I could have stuck to the main story instead of makeing it so the main story was only like 1/10 of what I'd put in the game by that time and wasnt even half way though it.....

I just finished the first map last night(no thanks to the help file). Took me two hours just to figure out how to get started.

Sorry about this.

Hit a snag on my game. When a encounter happens, and an enemy is defeated a box pops up saying "Cannot open file etc".
Anyone know what the hell the deal is?
