To help learn Japanese better I decided to take a crack at manga translations. Recently I came intot he posession of three volumes of the manga version of Melody of oblivion, which was one of my favorite anime. The manga however was never released here, so I decided to take a crack at translating some of it.
here's my translation of the first page.

Panel 2:
Kurofune: That bastard, he escaped the labyrinth.
Panel 3:
Narration: There was a great war in the 20th century. It was an all out war between humans and monsters. In the end the final victory of that war went to the monsters. And so the people forgot about that melody.
