Title: Long awaited

Tsiriel - August 23, 2004 06:57 AM (GMT)
Kaiser, a long time ago I told you I'd post some pics of my new car, and by god I've been lazy as hell, but here we go. For your comparrison and contrast - the new, and the old.
Earlier this year, after three years together, my first car - a 1992 Geo Storm GSI - started to show CV failure. Being as cautious as I am, and wanting to upgrade as badly as I have wanted for so long, I did ;). After a few days of searching and many changed decisions I came upon a final decision with my father. I bought a 2002 Ford Escort ZX2 with just over 21,000 miles on it. Sadly it is an auto, but you take what you can get. In case you arent' sure :P The ZX2 is the oxford white car

Sad news occured earlier today. I don't know how many of you guys know this, but I'm a car freak. In fact, thats what my major is in. To me, my car is a part of me, and right now both of us are hurting real bad. Some gal not paying attention failed to yield and drove her company minivan into my passenger side quarter panel. She struck not only the panel directly behind the door, but also the wheel itself. I won't be sure until I have the dealership look it over, but I'm afraid that it might have caused more than just body damage.
This just sucks so much :weep:

Mr Z hates minivans! At least it wasn't an SUV, Mr Z hates those even more! Damn.....talking in third person again, there's another forum somewhere where I always talk in third person for no good reason so its rubbing off here, must stop talking in third person... but in any case that's too bad about your car.

Curse that wentch and her minivan, tho minivans can be fun if you know the right things to do with them :666: but I digress. No worries Celestial, we're all lazy B) nice cars though, I want one, pity you decided to hide your plates from us, like we'd ever go and look you up and stalk you...

(Curse that wentch and her minivan, tho minivans can be fun if you know the right things to do with them )

(No worries Celestial, we're all lazy nice cars though, I want one, pity you decided to hide your plates from us, like we'd ever go and look you up and stalk you... )

if your really that big and bad a demon do you really have to ask such a pointless question?  :beers: <_<

Actually, the green Geo Storm there was a good first car, but It was a heap of crap when those photos where taken earlier this year.

I spent this morning out getting quotes from body shops on the damage. Estimates range from 979 to 1,500. Keep in mind that those are just estimates though. Heres some photos of the damage. They're not the best, and don't show how bad it really is, but they're all I've got for you guys to look at right now.

Oh, and Kaiser...no one was hurt in the accident. Well, I was hurt emotionally - like I said...I REALLY love my car, and this really hurts both the 'Z' and me. She will rise again after some body work to become an even better, stronger car because of this though :bang:

I'm glad that you've already begun the emotional healing process Celestial, I'm confident you and your cars will pull through this B)

As for you Tekno....I'll deal with you when the time comes  <_< :w00t:

I STILL say you should drive a decommisioned tank. If someone plows into you when they're not paying attention, you'll barely even feel it.. Plus tanks are handy during rush hour... Just drive right over the other cars.. I'm sure they'll rush to get away from that.. hehehehe.
