Title: Transformers:Gladius Project
Description: Act 1: In which things happen

BloodStorm - February 8, 2008 03:31 AM (GMT)
With the All Spark gone, we cannot return life to our planet. And fate has yielded its reward: a new world to call home. We live among its people now, hiding in plain sight, but watching over them in secret, waiting, protecting. I have witnessed their capacity for courage, and though we are worlds apart, like us, there's more to them than meets the eye. I am Optimus Prime, and I send this message to any surviving Autobots taking refuge among the stars: we are here, we are waiting.

Transform, and rollout

These were the last words heard by the hero, Optimus Prime. Weeks later, the autobots began to grow distant from their allies on earrh.. and soon began dissapeering without a trace. No footprints.. tire tracks.. they just.. vanished.. Search parties were launched by those who knew what to look for.. but they were never found.. Eventually they were given up as lost.. and then forgotten by all but a dedicated few..

Years passed.. and earth's technology progressed slowly, but surely.. certain breakthroughs were 'gifts' left behind by the robotic warriors.. cleaner, more plentifull fuel sources.. medical advances decades ahead of what humanity could have have reached itself.. several small things that added up to make life betteer for all the people of earth.. But how long would it last?

25 years after the movie:

Starscream's form rocketed down to cybertron.. bigger and meaner than he was when he left, Scream had upgraded himself with raw material and sheer will to leader status during his long trip home without access to an ARC ship with wormhole technology. Immediately he sent out a wide frequancy call to the entire planet of cybertron once he landed on the surface.

"Megatron is dead! I am your new leader!"

Am imposing decepticon with a single glowing eye in the center of it's face stepped up out of the crowd, speaking in a charismic voice "By who's authority, Starscream? Megatron left me in charge of cybertron in his absence.. Loggically, leadership is mine untill Megatron returns.. since your claims of his death are Dubious at best"

"Shockwave.. you overtransforming bore.." Starscream countered and displayed a holographic image of Sam Witwicki ramming the allsparc into Megatron's chest. "There if your prooof! "

Cheers range out for starscream.

"If megatron IS dead, then I am still in command since he didn't trust you to polish his rear gaurd amor, not to mention lead his glorious army. It will be I who leads.. and I will lead the decepticons to a glorious new future!"

Cheers range out for Shockwave.

The two exchanged more and more heated arguements untill finally a brawl broke out amoung the followers of each decepticon leader... soon the entire courtyard was in chaos as two sides fought each other over who the new leader should be. A relitively small handfull of decepticons held back in the shadows.. distancing themselves from the others. One of them spoke to the largest one present.. one of Megatron's most trusted advisors, Soundwave, spoke to another.
"Starscream Inferior.. Shockwave Intellect Superior.. Estimation, War will destroy decepticons.. War Must Be Stopped"

"I agree.. but what now?" His enigmati partner replied.

Soundwave turned and looked at a ship that was currently under cunstruction.. an interstellar warship.. nearing completion. "Soon, Ship Finished.. You, Take Allies To Find Megatron.. Soundwave will stay here to monitor these fights."

The second decepticon, known only as Mobius at this point.. nodded, and the two conspirators began to make plans.

5 years later...

Several celestial bodies emerged from a ship hidden behind jupiter and assumed thier comitory protoforms before flying through space towards the planet called earth.. the ship was a small ARC vessel.. only able to support 20 autobots, if that.. an it was damaged, it's wormhole gate was beyond repair.. if they didn't find what they were looking for here.. it would be a long time before they would be able to repair it.

Soon, the handfull of comets began to approach the planet, the timing was perfect.. earth was passing through the tail end of a comet's tail.. resulting in a metoer shower that would last for days... it would be easy to sneak into the plantet's atmosphere and assume forms to blend in, as most people wouldn't suspect a few extra bodies falling from space during a meteor shower, now would they? The autobots approached carefully, spreading out thier descent into the planet so they landed in hours apart from each other... most of them quickly scanning the nearest vehical within specs, and then transforming and moving out for reconnisance.

The last meteor, the largest from the ship, was about to make it's way down to the planet.. to the area humans know as Texas... when it got a message from the ship that had brought it here. the ship's long-range sencors picked up an opening wormhole portal in this sector of space.. decepticon in origin.. but the hole was much larger than any ever produced before.. and out of the wormhole emerged a giant black starship jutting ominiously with more killing instriments than was really nessisary.. the ship also picked up several deceptions leaving the ship and making thier way towards earth.. before one of the weapon pods on the ship hummed and fired at the tiny autobot ARC ship.. obliterating it in one blast.

"Autobots" The last meteor to enter the planet said over a private frequancy to his allies.. "The decepticons have found us, and cut off our only way out of this sector.. Learn what you can, and above all else, stay hidden unless 100% nessisary..I will contact you all as soon as I can.. Titanus out" and with that.. he altered his coarse to drop out of orbit and begin falling towards earth.

And so.. it begins.

OOC: Yay. my intro is short but hey at least it's here. and im second to post

IC:

Somewhere in the arctic northern seas
The thunder rolled and the waves crashed but a lone figure stood on the water unfazed, literally stood. The massive giant stood there it’s strange metal body standing out against the sea highlighted by each flash of lightning. Not that there was anyone near by to see, at least not any humans. The sea creatures waited safely below the waters, he could tell that. His only companion above the waves was a black dragon sitting on his shoulder, a dragon like the giant made of metal. Both were looking toward the sky. “They come again.”

He turned his head to the sea and his body started to shift. A few hours latter a barge was floating along seemingly self propelled though the water “For now if they leave my seas alone I shall do the saim for them and leave them alone.”

OOC: haven't seen me in a while have you? heh, here's Typhoon's intro:

IC:

Typhoon had deserted Shockwave's cadre over five years ago now, and stowed away on Mobius' warship.
he wanted out of the damn war, he was tired of working for the Decepticon "cause".

as the Monstrously powerful vessel exited the wormhole near the outer planets of a nondescript yellow dwarf system Typhoon came back online from his self induced shutdown, he had told his internals to "wake me when we've gotten somewhere" and they dutifully complied

Typhoon skulked through the cargo bay to the nearest exit port, and after scamming the door interface into opening without alerting the bridge, transformed and jumped ship.

Sailing serenely through the local Asteroid belt he saw the Hulk of Mobius' vessel open fire on a small Autobot scout ship that he hadn't picked up in his hurried departure.
the Autobot ship crumpled and vaporized under the assault, but he hadn't detected any Cybertronian IFF signatures onboard...

using a low powered burn of his propulsion systems he put himself on a nonpowered descent toward a promising looking world with large oceans and massive amounts of EM band radiation coming from it's landmasses

finding a small stretch of clear land in an otherwise snow covered and forested region he touched down on the World he would come to know as Earth.
Typhoon had been intercepting the EM band signals for the last several days... he knew enough about the planet to safely assume there would be Constructs suitable for him to use as a disguise
he also knew he didn't want to alert the indigenous life to his presence, they seemed standoffish with their own kind, Allspark help him if they found out there was a metal monstrosity tromping around in their backyard.
Typhoon quickly set about scanning for a Construct of suitable mass and functionality to take as an alternate form. he found a hollowed out space with an entrance to a complex of artificial caverns filled with what looked to be Aircraft made by the natives of this world... they would do nicely. Scanning the sleekest and most heavily armed aircraft present in the hangar, he transformed into his new body with a smooth shifting of his body's internal adaptive armature. Typhoon got the feeling he'd like this little rock, as long as he didn't run afoul of the natives or alert the Mobius faction to his presence. he set out across the ocean to the landmass west of where he'd made planetfall, he had an idea, it was foolhardy, but he didn't have many options: he was going to defect to the Autobots

WarriorZoalord - February 8, 2008 11:35 PM (GMT)
Thor sat a little uncomfortablly in the ARC ship, he didnt like being around others that much, he was more of a loner, but knew when teamwork was needed. He looked at the others and grumbles a little. Soon the ship stopped and it was time to leave. "I always hate this part..." He muttered to himself as they all launched into the meteor shower to disguise their entry to the planet below, a planet called Earth.

As they descended into earths atmosphere he got bumped by one of the real meteors a nd grumbles as he gets sent off course. "This sucks..." When he hit the ground it was somewhere in the united states, near a military base apparently. He left a long trail of torn up earth and trees where he landed but luckily no one was hurt. He climbs out of the ditch he made and looks around. "Oh shit!" He activates his cloaking device so he turns invisible, thus unlikely to be spotted by the humans in the base.

It was lucky that he did that, since in under a minute there were a bunch of humans swarming the area, which he had already snuck away from, but they were obviously making sure whatever landed wasn't a hazard to the base. He on the other hand was creeping through the base, examining different vehicles to see what he oculd use when he spotted this black colored aircraft and smirks. "there we go." says quietly and scans the plane before slinking away from the base again.

When he was far enough away he cuts his cloaking field and transforms into his alt mode and takes off into the sky. When he was sure he wouldn't be spotted by humans he opens up a comm channel. "Thor to Titanius... I got knocked off course during re-entry but I have arrived safely."

So this was earth, interesting. The protoform picked it's self up out of the smoking and sizzling crater walking up to the edge of the pit and scanned the surroundings. Somewhere remote, but not completely so, there was some buildings close by but mostly everywhere was just this planets natural vegetative growth as far as Switch could tell.

The bipedal figure moved smoothly towards the buildings avoiding the humans with an ease of grace and silentness that belied such a large frame and looked in a window. Optical receptors twinkled as it spotted something nice. The protoform figure scaled the wall to the roof as more humans moved around and two approached, what strange creatures they were, perhaps he'd study them later when he had time, but for now he was to be moving. When they moved away he slipped back down and deftly opened the door and slid in on his side.

Switch approached the half covered vehicle and pulled the rest of the cover off displaying the smaller stout craft, very nice indeed. Taking a scan he left as quietly as he came.

A gaurd came round the building to see the Aerospace product dissappear in the distance already in flight and ran to raise the alert "Hey someones just stole that plane thingie for the presentation, better call somebody"

"What do you mean" The other gaurd leaned forward in his chair and turned the security screen "It's right there"

The man moved from the security doorway and looked "but I saw it, it was...."

The gaurd chuckled "whatever you saw, you imagined it Tom, now go back to your rounds"

On a dark night near a power plant in the suburbs of Iowa

Cliff Yablonski was an overweight middle aged guard working the graveyard shift at the plant. Nothing much ever happened here except every now and then some of the local kids tried to sneak intot he plant or an animal got in. He took a swig froma bottle of whisky. He really shouldn't be drinking on the job, but who was going to know?

It was then he heard a loud thud and then another and another. It was almost as if something really big was walking around the plant outside. He got up pulling out his gun and a flashlight as he went to investigate. As he went to the door he heard a strange electronic sounding noise (that funky sound transformer make when they change). Slowly he pulled the door open and pointed his gun out into the night. Nothing was out there, but wait something wasn't right here. A large power transformer was sitting in the middle of the walkway. That wasn't supposed to be there! He glanced over to where it should be only to see that it was still there. There was two of them ane one was in the wrong place!

"What the fuck?" he walked towards it and gave it a kick, when he did that it made an electric crackling noise and slowly floated intot he air. He felt all his hair standing on end from all the static in the air. "WAAUUGHH!!" he fired a couple rounds at it before it flew foreward running straight into the man knocking him over. With that the floating power transformer turned and flew off intot he night.

Dual sighed as he received the message, he had only arrived and already things were going wrong. He had landed in some empty farm land uncertain where any viable machinery might be, so had no choice but to walk aimlessly and now he had to worry about Decipticons. Though in all honesty things weren’t completely hopeless, it was night so getting around without being seen shouldn’t be too hard though dawn was approaching, he needed to act fast.

After walking for a further ten minutes Dual was relieved when he finally reached the something, it was a lone air port littered with air crafts of varying design, it seemed fairly inactive most likely due to the hours. However he soon noticed a problem, all the vehicles were far too big. Dual was about to walk off when he noticed a lone warehouse connected to the runway, thinking it might make a good place to hide during the day, he approached it, carefully circling the runway so not to gather any un-necessary attention.

Entering the warehouse Dual was relived to find it held a number of planes, many of strange though interesting design, It was proubly Dual scanned a plane and left the air port.

The autobot took a moment to rub the back of his head. The landing had been anything from smooth. He looked over his shoulder and cringed at the accidently carnage in the wake of his arrival. A Starbucks, thankfully closed due to the late hour was utterly demolished. His scanners already began to register human radio chatter involving his less then subtle entrance and quickly got to his legs and vaulted over a tall brick wall and took off towards what he'd taken note of upon arrival, a car dealership.

Moments later Sidewinder came to a halt as he began to scan for a suitable form and within a few moments had the vehicle he had in mind and quickly transformed and deftly revved his engine and sped onto the streets and vanished into the night life traffic.

"Sidewinder reporting in."

Titanus kept track of all his autobots as the descened.. then began his own descent through the heavens. His comet like protoform lit up from the air friction and he automaticaly adjusted his angle to comenstate.. His thermal sheilded core would probobly allow him to survive even at a bad angle, but didn't really feel the need to risk such a gamble.

Advanced censory array zoomed in on his landing area.. an empty parking lot on a large facility that converted the back end of a hauling vehical into another differant back end. The logic of such confused him.. why not just build the hauling vehicals with the better hauling end in the first place?

Perhaps, like his own recent refits.. it was easy and more efficiant to take from the current crop and improve an older design.. than to make a new fleet entirely from scratch?

Fileing away that question in his mind to dwell on later, he fired retrorockets to slow his approach as he came within laning distance. It wouldn't stop him.. but would limit the damage done to the surrounding lot. mentally bracing himself to impact.. he fired his retrorockets again.. then smashed into the concreat on oneside of the lot.. his momentum carrying him halfway across the facility.

His protoform cometmode began to shift and reaarange as he stood up, then looked around for a suitable vehical.. many units in this facility where of proper side and weight levels for his frame.. and any looked as good as the others... so he zero'd in on one model and walked over.. scanning it and quickly transforming into a replica of the vehical before driving out of the parkinglot and onto the nearby highway before contacting his allies.

"Titanus landed.. blend in and sneak around for now.. see if you can find anything on the human's internet about prime and the others.. We'll meet up if anyone finds anything significant."

Like a rain of hellfire they descended upon the Blue orb known as Earth. The fires of entry glistening off their metal proto-forms, foreshadowing what these Decepticons would sweep across this world.

The streaks of flame split up in the night, streaking to points all over. The largest mass careened at momentous speed toward the barren wastes of the northern continent.

The descent was fast and wild. Redline’s protoforms split the clouds massed across the city, leaving a fiery tail trailing behind him. People screamed at the site of the – what they thought was a – meteorite blazing across the sky. Redline skimmed the top of buildings, sending rubble crashing to the ground below, crushing people beneath the rubble. Redline crashed through the upper most section of a high rise building and his approached was suddenly altered. He angled down sharply and suddenly the ground was rushing up to meet him.

He hit the ground with a thunderous boom, and bounced across the ground, smashing into buildings on either side of him before crashing through the front of another and finally came to a stop. Sirens blazed around him as his protoforms unpacked itself and he scanned the area around him, listening to the screams of people running around outside.

He turned as his sensors detected a suitable form. He looked over at the machine appreciatively, liking what he saw.

A bunch of humans screamed and hit the ground as Redline blasted out of the car show building at top speed, flames shooting from his exhaust as he soared through the air before slamming back to the road again. Redline chuckled, pleased with himself.

Then Mobius' message came through and he listened intently like loyal soldier he was.

“This is Redline, copy that Mobius. I’ve acquired an alternative form and preparing to follow mission objectives. Hail Megatron!”

Sidewinder took a moment on a sidestreet to observe the rules in which these humans generally followed while they drove in public. He took note of the police cars in particular as they appeared to be the enforcerers of these apparent laws. The last thing he needed was to be pulled over and the human realize the car was driving itself.

He generated a hologram of a human in his driver's seat and pulled onto the road and began to cruise the street, taking in everything he could to familiarize himself with his new environment. He pulled into an internet cafe and connected himself to their internet and began to assimilate their language, customs, and culture until his new orders were issued.

Typhoon landed in the middle of the northern landmass where he had noticed most of the Autobots were going to make planetfall.

his onboard ECM had assured his anonymity from the natives, they were technologically adept, but not so much that they could track him on their sensor gear.

he was dropping small beacons weighing only a few ounces each that would send out comm signals on a number of frequencies used by the Autobots. they carried an encrypted message that would only decode itself when it detected an Autobot's attempt to access it, he wasn't keen on the Mobius faction knowing that a former subordinate of Shockwave's was currently running around under their nose

having peppered most of the eastern seaboard's suitable landing points with his beacons he set out for the western end of things.

after he was sure that at least one of the beacons would be found and accessed by the Autobots he went and laid low in the large desert south of a massive population center on the western edge of the landmass.

Typhoon then sent the activation signal to his beacons and parked himself in the California desert.

he figured he wouldn't have to wait too long.

OOC: whoever finds the beacon and accesses it will be asked to relay the message contained in it to Titanius. afterwards it will shut down all other beacons and stop transmitting it's hails. when Blood asks me what the message contains i'll post it up asap

Since arriving on earth so far things had been pretty quiet with Lightning Rod. He wasn't affiliated with either the decpticons or the autobots. He had heard rumors of this primitive planet though. Other transformers had come here in search of the allspark in the past. He had no idea if they were succesful or not but it was worth looking into. But how would he go about finding information about it? The fastest way to do that would be to find another transformer. and the fastest way to find another transformer would be to ask one of the locals.

As he emerged from the woods he spotted a quiet looking bar on the countryside where alot of big rig trucks were parked. It was kind of similar in appearance to the bar at the beginning of Terminator 2.

In the parking lot Jed who had a little too much to drink was begining to make his way over to his big rig truck. So what if he had twelve beers? He could drive! It was then he made out something odd in his blurry vision. Standing in front of him was a huge metal robot with four arms and glowing red eyes.

"Whoah....maybe I did drink too much!"

"You there little man! I got questions and maybe you got some answers! Have you seen any giant robots around here?" he asked as he stooped down to look the fat truck driver in the face.

"WAAAUGHHH!!" Jed began running away as fast as a drunk truck driver could.

"Trying to run away without answering huh? Who the hell do you think I am?" Lightning Rod said before he ran after him leaping intot he air and landing in front of him with enough force to shatter the concrete. Jed fell backwards scrambling away even as he peed his pants.

"Lubricating your pants won't be enough to escape me!" Lightning Rod shouted after him as he ran into the bar.

"Help! Robot! I'm not drunk! Only had twelve beers! ROBOT!" he shouted in terror pointing at the doors.

"Jed I think you've had enough man..." one of the other men began to say when suddenly the wall exploded showering the area with bricks. Crawling on his hands and knees Lightning Rod made his way inside.

"Now....what do you guys say you answer my question! Have any of you seen any giant robots?"

After a moment of silence one of the men screamed and ran at him with a pool stick smashing it on his arm. Lightning Rod glanced at him a moment before flicking him with his finger knocking him over.

"Uhhh...I know a guy who said he saw one in New York." the Bartender blurted out.

"Alright! That sounds like a plan!" Lightning rod said as he grabbed the terrified bartender. "You and me pal! Were going to this New York place that you speak of!"

"H-Hey wait a minute!"

Lightning Rod stood up smashing through the ceiling so that half the bar caved in before walking away with the terified bartender into the woods.

Titanus was cruising the highway, hologram in the driver's seat, using a wireless connection to absorb bits and peices of human culture and such things when he passed by areas with wifi. He was looking for evidence on the internet of Optimus and the others who had been here on the planet three decades ago.

There was something there.. or rather.. something had been there.. but all links with any real evidence lead to dead pages.. pictures were removed.. He scanned forums and found few people even realised such things had happened.

A massive cover-up? Possable.. there were crazy amounts of conspiracy theories on the internet.. either the people were under some sort of mass delusion, or there was some grain of truth to atleast some of the conspiracies.. but that wasn't what Titanus was sorting through the data for, his posatronic brain handleing more data in seconds than a human mind could in a lifetime...

He stopped at a redlight and pondered for a moment.. then there was a ping across autobot frequancies. He scanned through all his channels and it was there on nearly all the autobot frequancies.

"Autobots.. Did you get that?" He asked on one of the few frequancies the beacons didn't penitrate incase someone was listening in. "Be carefull and spread out, someone might have penitrated our secrecy.. see if anyone can locate the source of that signal."

Elsewhere...Secret underground bunker.. somewhere secret.
An advanced computer was monitoring a long range of frequancies. A single red light began to glow for the first time in years as it picked up chatter on some of the signals. The computer had never come close to translating things.. but it wasn't designed to.. it just had to wait and listen untill the signals were used.. That one ping acros the signals might have been an anomaly.. so it waited for more..

((OOC: Also.. All autobots are assumed to have made it onto the planet by this point.. so if you are an autobot and havn't made landfall, pretend you have and go with that. ))

Sidewinder was so immersed in the interesting culture of the human race that he was momentarily startled by Titanus' voice come across one of the autobot frequencies. He quickly preformed a routine low level scan of his immediate vicinity and discovered one of the beacons was nearby. His engine revved as he pulled out of the parking lot and merged into traffic as he began to home in on the beacon.

"I've got a beacon about two hours from me boss, I'll see what's up, Sidewinder out."

He transmitted his coordinates to his superior as he merged onto the freeway and began to speed toward whatever it was that was using autobot frequencies. He did his best not to get ahead of himself, perhaps it was one of their long lost comrades. However the anticipation of being reunited with his allies continued to grow in his mind, for it had felt like an eternity since he had been amongst friends, especially Bumblebee, whom he thought of as a brother.

Riven - February 23, 2008 11:12 AM (GMT)
Sentry duty was boring but everyone was forced to take one shift at least twice a week and this time Roy pulled the short straw. The low ranking soldier sat back in his chair in the high tower, staring in boredom at the little piece of crap tv they allowed the guards to keep in the tower. It looked as if it could shit itself at any time moment. There was a pool going on how much longer it would last. Roy personally though, hated technology……….

He looked away from the tv, - ready to tear his eyes out from watching Big Brother Season 58 – and looked out at the deserted road leading away from the base. He continued to stared for a couple of seconds, squinting then frowning as he noticed several white lights rapidly approaching the base.

“What the hell is this shit?” he mumbled as stood up, hefting his sniper rifle into position. He pulled a radio to his mouth. “Attention, unknown bogies approaching the base. I repeat, we have unknown bogeys approaching the base.”

The objects continued to approach without changing speed and with in a couple of minutes, Roy saw eight identical cars come screeching to a halt a few dozen metre from the main entrance of the base. The roar of multiple fine tuned engines filled the night as soldiers lined the walls and snipers got into position from their towers. It was too dark to see the occupants of the cars, but Roy shuddered uneasily. Something was wrong, he could feel it.

“You are on restricted property, turn around and leave peacefully” a commanding officer announced over a megaphone. “I repeat, you are not authorized to be here, leave or we’ll open fire.”

Without warning the cars disappeared into thin air. Just vanished like they were never there. No tire marks, no nothing. The soldiers all murmured anxiously amongst themselves, whisperings of urban legends passed down through the ranks from over thirty years ago. A small burst of fiery light came to life in the distance, getting larger and larger, until suddenly the object slammed into the front with amazing force and exploded, buckling the gate and blasting it inward. Several soldiers were caught by the flying chunk of metal and others were knocked to their feet.

Out of the darkness a hulking giant of metal came charging towards to the base full force. Soldiers still standing opened fire with little affect as the giant robot jumped over the base walls and landed inside the training grounds. Its hands looked like rotating cannons, glowing white hot as it fired blast after blast of concentrated plasma into buildings and vehicles. A tank came rolling out of a warehouse, aiming its cannon and opening fire. The robot saw it a second before it fired and turned just as the shell rocketed past and struck one of the sentry towers. The robot turned its attention on the armoured vehicle and changed towards it.

As it ran it dodged several more blasts, while transforming its right cannon into a different weapon with a slightly longer barrel. It jumped over one more blast and landed in front of the tank and then jammed its weapon down the barrel of the tank and let loose a jet of flames that blasted its way inside the tank and cooked the soldiers inside it. The screams were terrific but lasted only for a couple of seconds before the tank itself started to glow white hot, shells inside exploding out in random directions.

Machine gun fire bounced harmlessly off its metal body and it turned to see the soldier bravely facing it. Without a moments hesitation it brought its foot crashing down on the human.

Roy watched in horror as the machine wrecked havoc upon the base. It grabbed a jeep and as if the vehicle was a toy, it sent it flying. Roy had only a second to scream before the jeep smashed into his tower and exploded.

Redline laughed sadistically as his plasma cannons transformed back into hands and a pair of scimitar like swords slid out from his wrists. They glowed with heat and as he swept the blades in front of him they melted straight through anything they came into contact with. Soldiers screamed as the swords cut through them like they were made of paper and sent limbs flying in every direction.

He had to give the humans credit for continuing to fight him. Despite the obviously difference in power they still fought him with everything they had. It would do them very little however.

His right hand transformed again into a cannon and he fired grenade like projectiles into a mass of soldiers coming at him from one direction. NOS canisters exploded on impact, leaving nothing but charred bodies flying every where. He fired again into one of the two remaining sentry towers and watched the explosion of concrete and glass. He kicked away a jeep screaming towards him and turned his attention on the main complex, his true goal.

Using his left blade he slashed down through the building and kicked the wall in, making an opening large enough for himself. A grenade suddenly exploded off his shoulder and force shook him about a little bit. He growled a second later once he stabilized himself and turned to find the soldier that had fired on him, his optics glowing bright red. The soldier holding the grenade launched dropped the weapon and started running in the opposite direction. Redline picked up a broken flag pole and threw it like a spear, picking the man off the ground and impaling him into a wall.

His thirst for retribution sated, Redline ripped his way into the complex, tearing open several floors until he reached the very bottom and found what he was looking for. The warhead wasn’t that big, to him at least. He picked it up and hefted it on to his shoulder. He emerged back on the surface seconds later, casually blasting a group of injured soldiers with his flame thrower. He placed the nuclear war head on the ground and wires extended out from his hand and connected to the bomb’s computer, hacking its programming and arming it.

He set the timer and transformed. He raced through the broken entrance and into the night, hitting his Turbo charger and blasting off like a rocket. Within minutes he was well outside of the blast radius, but he kept going, already having picked his front row seats to the fire works display that was about to erupt outside of LA.

Finally he stopped and turned. Inwardly he counted down, chuckling at how stupid humans were when it came to storing their weapons of mass destruction. Finally he reached 0 and like a clockwork, in the distance a massive mushroom cloud reached into the sky, its radiation already affecting communication as far reaching as LA itself, bringing down phones, computers and the power grid in general for the city.

The blast wave rocketing across the area and ripping past Redline as he watched the blast, the explosion reflecting eerily of his metal body.

This, is just the beginning humans

in the California Desert Typhoon waited patiently with his IFF signal dampened as low as possible to avoid detection by the Decepticon forces potentially in orbit and dropping in. The Antennae on his insectile cranium idly scanned the EM band transmissions that saturated the skies, puring the culture of this world into him.... he was astounded by the diversity of emotion and viewpoint on this world.... truly beautiful in their adaptability these Humans.
and then the EM band transmisions went dead and he had to reel in his antennae to avoid an onrushing EMP... someone had detonated a Fission-fusion weapon not too far from him.... and he knew that the people in this country weren't in conflict at the moment. apalled he assumed that the Decepticons had arrived and started wreaking havoc. in his waiting and contemplation he had grown to empathize with these Biologicals. they had a tenacity of spirit and an ingenuity of mind that more than offset their physical frailty... and now the decepticons were preparing to obliterate this world like they had done to Cybertron... he wouldn't stand for it... Typhoon would have wept bitter tears if he were capable. Typhoon knew it would be the height of foolishness to engage the Decepticons on this world without the aid of the Autobots... so he simply sat and waited, his resolve that he'd made the right decision strengthened by the unknown decepticon's depraved actions.

OOC: This is my rpg, 30 years in the future.. and I say Ahnuld is the president, damnit. I still think he'ld be good for it.. and in 30 years someone will probobly repeal that silly 'have to be born here to be president' bit. Washington wasn't born here and he was the first one, afterall.

Arnie was elected in 2036 and is the 48th president of the united states. He is two years into his first term and is currently 90 years old. But let's face it, He's ARHNULD.. so he's still in amazing physical condition. He's also probobly got some sort of cybernetics installed to keep him going too. Becuase those are awesome.

Secret location...

The computer was still waiting for more chatter on it's frequancies when other subsystems began to run, it began to pick up newsfeed about an accidental nukelear detonation in california. Running through it's protocalls, it activated a spy sattilite hidden in orbit using cybertronian style stealth systems.

The sattilite zoomed it's veiwer down, specialised sensors scanning around the detonation zone, looking for residual traces. If the system hadn't picked up chatter earlier this spy satilite would have never seen use.. but now it scoured a fifty mile radias beyond the blast zone.

Minutes later.. paydirt. It found what it was looking for. It couldn't find any NBE's.. but there evidence of lingering energon emmisions in the air. The system went into level2 security and began to send out emails to the nessisarry people.

TV all over the world.
The president of the united states, Arnold Schwarzenegger appeared on live tellivision to express his regret for the accidental detonation of old nuclear weaponry that hadn't been dismantled yet.. and he was not aware of that bunker's existance as it was established during a previous president's term during a world wide nuclear scare 14 years ago. Thankfully it was a small yeald weapon and the cassualties were limited to those on base at the time. Reports from the area also say that repairs to the powergrid of california will be underway and things are expected to be back up to operation within days. It will be buisness as ussuall for california, becuase the state's so used to rolling blackouts by now no one batted much of an eye about things.

Then he appologised for making that little joke about the state he had governed for so long, but it was ment in good fun, and left the press conferance before the reporters started with questioning.

OOC: I was planning on not getting Aegir involved in the fights yet but Riv moved up my time table.
__________________________________________________________________

Aegir was pissed. For 30 years he had lived on this world unnoticed. And in one day these newcomers set off a nuke. He would Find out which one did this, and they would pay. He knew a sighting of a giant robot or two could go unnoticed but THIS action would make it hard for him to remain unseen by the humans. And the blast was so close to his waters. He was willing to leave them in piece as long as they didn’t mess with what he claimed to threatened him. Setting off a nuke shook the world’s attention and mad all the humans more alert and edgy, and a possible nuclear war would threaten even him and his.
Floating in the water out of sight of any coast a shape unfurled from his alternate form. Within seconds a mechanical dragon larger than a car stood on him. “Slátrvængr Go and seek the one who did this. Hide from sight and strike only when I give the command.” the dragon flapped it’s wings then rocketed into the sky where it started to shimmer and disappear from sight “Go my Blaka.” the unseen dragon streaked off at max speed towards California.
Aegir then turned his attention to the conversation he interrupted. On a screen miles away on a private island the image of a man roughly 50 years old blinked its eyes on the computer screen and sighed. “It is as you guessed Franklin. My kind is back”

Thor was cruising at mid-level altitudes, not wanting to go too high in case he drew suspicion to himself, when he detected the odd noise on all autobot frequencies. He activated his comm to all autobots, but mainly he replied to Titanus. "Yeah, Thor here, I got it too. Only two possiblities exist in my mind. Either the decepties are onto us, or this might be some kind of clue as to what happened to the others. Perhaps we should try to locate the source if it happens again?"

A short time later he was actively monitoring all communications coming from the humans when he came across some interesting information. Once the information was fully sorted he once again opened his comm to Titanus. "Sir, I don't know if you caught it on the humans communication net yet, but there was some kind of nuclear Detonation in what the humans refer to as California... unknown cause, Mind if I go check it out boss?"

A few seconds later the com would crackle and Titanius would answer with "Be quick.. and be quiet. If it's a decepticon, do not engage unless you can make the first shot count. The humans probably have vehicles in the area as well, Do not engage these if you can avoid it."

"Roger that Titanus, Thor out." With that he would kick on the speed and head towards LA from the air. When the blast area was within view at the horizon he would kick on his cloaking Device so that he wouldn't be spotted as he got lower and lower. he would also slow down and kick in his fanjet engine and moved rather slowly, but nearly undetectable to humans. He would check the area throughly, getting as much info as he could. His sensors blared a little at him as he picked up emissions that nothing on this planet could Produce. The only problem was, he couldn't tell if it was good, or bad.

He would fly over the area still cloaked several times, then take off away from the area, When he was far enough away to make sure his comm signal wouldnt be detected easily. When he was safely land out in the desert, as he didn't want to be distracted why making this report "sir, I checked out the area, Found energon Emissions but couldn't really pinpoint the source with the heavy radiation from the blast still in the area. Unable to verify if whoever was there was the source of the blast, at least not without examining satellite feeds that might have been taken at the moment of detonation. though If I had my bet, I would say it was decepticon related, but i can't be sure without verifying who the source of those emissions was." He scanned the area visually, making sure there wasnt any humans nearby before he decloaked and stayed there waiting for titanus's reply to his report.

Bardiel - February 24, 2008 12:17 PM (GMT)
Typhoon could feel the trail of the trail of the Autobot Thor in the sky... he couldn't see him, but he could track him long enough for him to decloak. he made the decision that the Decepticons were moving too fast for him to simply bide his time and wait for a hail from Titanius. flying near the blast site where Thor stood surveying the damage he pinged his former enemy's comm system with "for the love of the Allspark don't shoot, i am here to defect." then landed as he transformed and held his hands up to show that he didn't plan to pull a weapon on Thor.

Without warning the signal that Sidewinder was quickly approaching suddenly ceased transmitting. He swerved in a slight display of shock along the freeway which earned him a few unhappy honks of other horns and few choice fingers being raised in the air as they sped by.

"Hey what's going on? The signal just cut out..." He broadcast across the autobot frequencies and hoped that somebody would be able to clue him into these latest developments.

While he awaited a response from his comrades he quickly merged into the off ramp and began to head back to the city. He had been intrigued in this concept of street racing that he'd come across while scanning through their Internet and the concept greatly appealed to him.

Turns to face the one who talked, confused for a few seconds, then spots the decepticon logo and draws his gattling laser, but doesnt point it at him, as a sign he at least was willing to listen. "Defect huh? not many want to do that...." He watched typhoon for a few seconds before he switched hsi comm system over to a Private link with Titanus only, and makes sure its as encrypted as possible. he also cuts his external voice so typhoon couldnt hear the conversation, after all, he wanted to make sure it wasnt some kind of trap.

"Uh Boss, we may have a situation here. I've run into a Decepticon here, but thats not the odd thing. He says he wants to defect to the autobot side.... If you wish to meet us here the coordinates are." would rattle them off to him, then speaks again. "Of course, if you'd rather me take him to you sir, Just give me a meeting point and I'll bring him."

Vengeance - March 2, 2008 03:15 AM (GMT)
Deep in the nevada desert life was usually silent and easy. However such was not the case this night as a metallic form had rocketed from the sky. It had carrened into several rock walls at high speed before finally settling after leaving a massive trail behind it. Slowly but surely the Autobot Zoom had finally managed to repair enough of his internal subroutines to activate his primary motor function and bring himself to life.

Slowly the protoform rose up and shook free the dirt and debris that had collected within his metallic form during his horrific landing. As he glanced down he saw that his body had been damaged in the landing, although he would have rather referred to it as a crash. With a thought he retrieved a series of tools from his rear compartment and began making the neccessary adjustments. Luckily nothing had been seriously damaged and he didn't require additional materials to finish his repairs. It took some time but finally he was functional.

With a mechanical precision the robotic form rose up and began scanning for any sign of activity. His optic sensors turned slowly until it came across a small strech of synthetic compounds that covered up the natural terrain. Moving along this terrain was a small human vehicle moving at an impressive rate of speed.

"Now that," he said to no one in specific, "is more my style." That and the fact that its size was something he could successfully scan and utilize for his alternate mode of camoflauge. Luckily it was just within in range and so he managed to scan it before the small vehicle sped away.

Once his new form was adapted to his body Zoom transformed into a street bike. A shower of dirt sprayed out from behind the back tire as he approached the road at considerable speed. As soon as his tires reached the surface he calculated that his speed could be greatly increased. Taking a slight moment to generate a holographic rider matching the one he had scanned moments ago. Leaning slightly as his internal gyros maintained his balance Zoom made a slight curve and took off in the opposite direction of the vehicle he scanned.

Unfortunately the Autobot's communications array had been offline during repairs and he had unfortunately missed the previous transmissions from his leader. Not wanting to alert any Decepticons to his location Zoom sped off at high speed down the lonely road as he waited for contact or something to possibly lead to the whereabouts of his missing comrades.

Titanius would send a reply back over private frequancies. "Roger that.. my Alternate is a slower groundbased model than I'm used to, so it will take several hours for me to reach you. I can meet you halfway there in much less time than that.. Ask him to meet me there in three hours. Titanius out" Titantius closed the channel and adjusted his course, turning off onto another road and pushing his speed.

"Well" he thought to himself "This could be important.. hope it all goes well."

CYBERTRON, Shockwave's Sanctum.

Shockwave was monitoring progress on some projects he was working on when his computer consol blipped quietly.

"Excellent... " He mused to himself and hit a button with the hand not ending in a laser cannon, causing the giant sized doors to swing open and two transformers walked in, including a vary rare female chasis. Shockwave still wasn't sure why some cybertronians were created as female, gender was something that mattered for organically reproductive species, for a race of robotic lifeforms, they just didn't make sence.. but they were so rare it was impossable to get a large enough group to study them in any real detail.. and this one was a valueable member of his forces.. He would hold off on dismantleing her as a test subject.. atleast as long as she continued to serve loyally and efficiantly.

"Reporting as ordered, Shockwave" The female's voice filled the chamber.

"Horizon, Avian Rex.. I'll make this brief.. For the past several years, I have been constructing a vast warship to help our race return to it's rightfull place as a dominant species among the universe, it's fire power alone would be more than some cities here in cybertron.. It was constructed in secret so the Starscream faction would not learn of it's location and atempt to destroy or capture it... However.. on the eve of it's complettion it was stolen by one of my trusted advisors. However, I have it's coordinants and know where it is currently located."

"You want us to retreive it then?"

"It's not that simple.. the ship will automatically target it's weapons on anyone who gets too close if they are not in it's database of approved passengers.. And it's weapon range well exceeds your own by a factor of five atleast. And I cannot simply open a wormgate inside it, as it is sheilded against such intrustion.. The two of you will be sent to Earth, the nearest inhabited planet to the ship's current location, and the most likely place that my traitorious leutenant, Mobius, is currently residing. Our gates can only send the two of you, and any drone units you might require.. we are readieing a larger gate to send a proper war party, but untill then the two of you are to serve as scouts. Both of you are fast Arial units, you will be able to avoid most confrentations that would be able to cause significant harm, yet strong enough to make crippleing strikes from ambush if you get the chance. However, Mobius and his forces are not going to be your only foes.. the native's technological level is inferior to our own, but they are ingenious enough to have created devices that can damage us in sufficiant numbers, and I have reason to suspect autobot forces are on the planet as well."

The two decepticons looked at thier leader with sceptiscism apperant on in thier expressions, but shockwave continued. "I'm not suggesting the two of you run off and take on all the trouble you can find.. Infact, I would rather Mobius's forces didn't even know you were there untill the larger gate is finished and I can station a proper warforce on the planet. The gate sending the two of you will be fully charged within the hour, so make any final preperations you need in that time, then meet in teleportbay 7-12A. You are dissmissed"

Shockwave turned back to his computer consoles and resumed his work, leaving the two of them to thier own devices.

Tydorei Belouve - March 12, 2008 07:04 PM (GMT)
At Shockwaves dismissal Horizon and Avian Rex walked back out the grand doors from which they came. They closed as the exited and Rex continued to the teleportbay 7-12A but Horizon however stopped outside the Shockwaves chamber.

This warship Shockwave has built sounds like it could have ended the war with the Decepticons and the Autobots... That is if Mobius did not hijack it. How could Mobius decide to betray Shockwave as well. Mobiius was supposed to be reliable and trustworthy, unlike that fool Starscream... Starscream, yet another excelling her race to extinction. Why did he decide to raise up to Shockwave now; Shockwave who ruled the Decpticons for the last couple centuries years and better than Megatron. The lost of Megatron was not a blow to the Decpticons at all. The lost Opitimus Prime to the autobots was something significant however... That was the time to strike and break the Autobots. Now with the decepticons divided... this is the time for the Autobots to attack. But if the AllSpark was truly destroyed...

Horizon began making her way to teleportbay 7-12A and sent a signal to her droid, Garuda, to meet her their. This mission was one Horizon did not like at all. There was a lack of information regarding Mobius and the ones who went with him. The planets natives could prove dangerous if alerted and there was a high chance that an Autobot presence was on the surface as well. But Shockwave was right, she and Avian Rex where more than suited for this type of mission... their was no chance of their failure.

Despite being mid-day, Sidewinder was able to able to locate what appeared to be an illegal drag race after skimming through the local Internet chatter as well as interfacing with the major cell phone networks and quickly scanning through local text messages.

"Suppose I could use my spare time to see test this alternate form, till I get some new orders." He mused to himself as he pulled into the vacant warehouse lot near the edge of the city limits.

His engine revved as he modified his holographic human to better suit the racing subculture. He observed the various people taking bets accompanied by the trash talking and boasting over their cars. Sidewinder took it all in with amazement and as one of the booky's approached him he quickly modified his syntax and grammar to match his holographic appearance.

Inside of a few minutes he was designated a starting position and given decent odds. A few of the females even seemed to be attracted to his hologram and he did his best to stiffle a laugh. Once all the cars had lined up on the makeshift starting line and the circut landmarks had been established Sidewinder buckled down and at the bang from the starting gun he exploded into the lead...

Thor just stood there listening to Titanius's transmission then looked toward the supposed defecting Decepticon. Making sure he got the transmission right before looking at Typhoon.

"Our Leader has agreed to meet you. We have two choices, we can stay here and wait about 6 hours for him to get to us, or meet him at a location thats closer. but it would still be about a three hour wait." would Give him the coordinates for the halfway point and waits for him to make a choice. "I'd suggest the three hour wait if your really in such a hurry.... You know, since the Decepticons really don't like their people going Traitor."

He was ready to transform into his alt mode and follow Typhoon when he decided to leave for the Rendezvous point with Titanius.

Jed was very nervous, he really wasn't sure about this as he drove his truck heading for New York.

"I'm not sure about this lightning rod. I mean if the government finds out I'm hiding an alien robot they'll put me away for life!"

"Don't worry, you can just tell them that if you didn't hide me I would squich you!" Lightning Rod said as they were getting ready to leave, he would be riding in the back of Jeds truck.

"Yeah but..."

"No buts! Even if you don't believe in yourself, belive in the me who believes in you!" the giant robot said giving hima thumbs up sign.

"Uhhh...right..."

"By the way I really will squish you if you tell anyone I'm here." With that Jed closed the back door of his truck and began driving away hjeading for New York. Since giant robots had been seen in that area before Lightning Rod seemed to think a clue to the allspark could possibly be found there. But Jed had the sinking feeling that the robot had a few screws loose.

The feeling of the air whistling across his metallic skin was truly something amazing. He sped along the makeshift race track at such speed that it would have made any human eye water. He made each turn with such inhuman precision that the spectactors could barely keep their mouths from hanging open in awe.

The whole event lasted less then five minutes and Sidewinder finished a full two minutes ahead of second place driver. As people began to crowd around him he realized they would soon discover his secret and with that he tore off down the street and back into mainstream traffic still awaiting his next set of orders.

WarriorZoalord - March 24, 2008 04:02 AM (GMT)
After about 10 minutes of flying, the two Transformers would reach a rocky area that seemed devoid of human life for a couple miles, so their chance of being spotted. when they got close he would transform and go to land. There were a few large rocks big enough to hide the two big machines. he would lean against one of them and look about, obviously worried more about being spotted by decepticons than the humans. "well, now we just have to wait for him to show up and then you can explain yourself."

He looked over at Typhoon, then around once again, his gattling laser ready for anything as he waits quietly, hoping titanius would get here faster.

Landing in the outcropping Typhoon Transformed and heaped himself against one of the boulders. His eyes were scanning the horizons for possible threats and he was sifting through the massive amounts of EM band communications traffic in hopes of garnering further intelligence on Decepticon actions on Earth. Typhoon noted the prevalence of Military Staging grounds and facilities would unfortunately make a target rich environment for any Decepticon wanting to wreak a massive amount of havoc in a short time. filing away locations of major training facilities and weapons depots he prioritized the points which would be most needed to defend this continent from Decepticon incursions in the near future. Typhoon started researching this landmass' current technological capabilities and concluded that he would need to tell Titanius about possible upgrades that could be made to these Humans Electronic warfare techniques to increase their survival rate in combat against Cybertonian foes.

satisfied with his current level of knowledge on the situation he turned to more local concerns.
"I'm Typhoon, formerly Shockwave's chief of Recon"
Turning to face the Autobot he said:
"So do you have a name? or should i simply continue thinking of you as 'the first Autobot i happened to meet on this world'?"

Sith Guyver - April 2, 2008 05:27 PM (GMT)
The impact in Nevada was violent, more so than anyone else. Mobius had purposefully not used his decelerating ailerons, sending a massive cloud of dust into the night sky. The tiny mushroom cloud rose higher and higher; anyone from miles around would be staring at it and not him.

Mobius had always been a good soldier, strong, stern and able to follow orders. His elongated and thin build gave him the appearance of weakness. But you couldn't be a Decepticon and be weak, specially not under the direct tutelage of Lord Megatron. Kicking in his flight systems and hovered low over the desert landscape.

Destination acquired from human Global Positioning System:

United States Department of Defense; Sigma Nevada; Store House

Surveying the base from orbital camera's he plotted his path in. Unconcerned with being spotted due to his therm-optic camouflage. He silently planted himself deep within the storage depot, no humans we're really around here. Merely 30 staffed to maintain the depot during peace time, how great a folly that would soon be for them. He scanned an alternate mode suitable not only for military disguise but one able to move into some civilian settings.

He planted himself amongst many similarly looking vehicles, a grille amoungst grilles.

Mobius spent the next few hours listening to military traffic over his wireless connection, acquiring words, phrases, and codes needed to better interface and hack the human systems. As he noodled about in their systems he came across a highly encrypted download, he tagged it for later acquisition, and proceeded to trace it's location. Finding a satellite high in space above California, not far from the landing site of Redline.

"Attention Decepticons, enter subversive intrusion mode, we we're almost discovered. and Redline" He said with ice in his voice, "don't fail me again."

WarriorZoalord - April 3, 2008 11:41 AM (GMT)
thor looked over at the soon to be Ex-Decepticon and leans against his rock a little as he looks around, then at Typhoon and chuckles a bit. "my name is Thor, Heavy Scout and Stealth specialist for Titanius."

He looks around once more and stands at the ready for anything, scanning the air for a few minutes, then the ground, unsure of how Titanius was getting here, but judging by the speed at which he said he was going to meet them, it wasnt by air.

Riven - April 9, 2008 07:26 AM (GMT)

Redline chuckled arrogantly to himself as he raced back into the city. The power was out and the humans were rioting. Resorting their basic primitive natures as they always did in the middle of a crisis they knew nothing about. One thing that made Redline wonder was, what did the humans plan to do with all the electronic devices they looted from their stores if there was no power and no certainty that it would come back on again. Humans confused and sickened him. They did not deserve the planet they called home.

Without warning a brick smashed into his driver side door.

Redline screeched to a halt and angrily reversed back to where the brick had come from and swung around to face the culprit. It was a stupid human teenager senselessly hauling bricks around for no damn good reason. Redline turned his high beams on without warning and blinded the kid with light, then powered forward. The teenager didn't know what hit him and Redline smirked inwardly with satisfaction as the meat sack bounced off his hood with a sickening thump.

Soon all humans would meet their ends he decided.

Kaiser Dragoon - April 9, 2008 05:21 PM (GMT)
Despite enjoying the new scenery Sidewinder began to grow restless. He move fluidly through traffic as he desperately desired for some new orders that weren't simply to blend in and remain hidden. He was gravely concerned as were all the other autobots about the apparent disappearance of their leader. He was anxious to find Bumblebee, a long time comrade whom he had shared many a combat missions with over the many years of the great war. He had thought foolishly enough that the humans would welcome their presence but that had been some time ago and from the documents he'd obtained over their Internet, it was nothing but conspiracy theories now.

He drove on, still preoccupied with the fate of his fellow comrades. He needed something to keep him busy other then this aimless driving. He thought about sending another message to Titanius but thought better of it. Sidewinder continued to map out the city and poured over numerous geographical and city maps to familarize himself with the terrain and try to assess where the other Decepticons may have landed. He heard nothing about strange alien sightings in his sector but there were other comments made in areas much further away. He plotted their relative distances between himself and the location of his fellow autobots, everyone was fairly spread out and by in large, on their own.

Sparky - April 15, 2008 06:55 PM (GMT)
A nuclear device. One had detonated, Switch stared out at the view as he pondered it. The scout was on the roof of a building, one these humans called skyscrapers. Far too high for any human to see even with some cheaper binoculars, but no problem for his optics to pick out every detail even from this height and no humans for three floors down from where he was.

They were interesting, he had thought that the first time he saw them when he first landed. The neutrol bot had accessed a wireless connection to the earthlings world wide web when he saw the reports of the detonation appear. Something like a nuclear blast could not be circumvented of coverage in what the inhabitants called the digital age but spin stories were already being woven, accidental triggering, mistaken detonation during dismantling. He was to too far away to be affected by the electrical outage but he could only guess at which way the wind would carry the fallout. Whatever story took root it would do, that was the way it worked, he knew because that was his skill and he had done it all before.

Switch however did not believe it was accidental, nor that it was even the humans, already he had found traces of people leaking strange things to the net. Things many would miss unless they knew just what to look for, things that happened just as he himself had arrived. He would be stupid to think he was the only cybertronian that come to the planet recently, and he doubted any of the autobots who had came here all those years before would begin something like this. That meant new arrivals. That meant new arrivals that triggered nuclear devices. That meant Decepticons.

He would have used a human act and spat to show his displeasure had he had saliva glands but he did not. Decepticons, his optics burned thinking of them, and with Decepticons there would be Autobots. Both ever the same but ever different and where they came, war. War he knew, he knew very well, he knew all too well. This planet would become nothing but a scarred pitted husk as like that of cybertron. It never stopped!

The transformer realised he was standing with a twisted sattellite antenna in one of his hands pulled from it's bolts. Ha, it merely showed as proof of his thoughts, he was a physicly weak demonstration of his kind but here he had tore something they built made from metal from it's groundings and twisted it in a blind action as if it were nothing, how could they, with they're weak flesh body's survive trapped between his kinds civil vendetta.

It was not broken entirely Switch was pleased to see. Catches, metal covers and small plates moved and retracted as tools and equipment extended from the forearms and he re-attached the human device back and straightened it, it was simple to re-connect the wires he had snapped and broken and even more simple to re-calibrate. Now it was time to go, that would have been noticed. Would have caused something that would send someone to investigate.

The large picked the side with the most clearing in regard to the othe rbuildings nearest and leapt off. There was a brief sound of mechanical change and then motors suddenly coming to life and switch was gone. The roof door opened and a tech guy came out having been sent up to check for the problem but his radio crackled telling him whatever the problem was it was gone now and he was to coem back down, so he did.

BloodStorm - April 22, 2008 12:41 AM (GMT)
Sidewinder was rounding another corner when police sirens in the distance caught his attention. Not having anything better to do, he altered his coarse and decided to roll by the area to see if it was anything interesting. However a trio of heavily armored dune buggys roared by the autobot at speeds that he wouldn't expect the vehicals to have managed with earth technologies. The rider in the lead car wore some sort of helmit plugged into a built-up dashboard with plenty of extra equipment sidewinder didn't detect it's partners were equipped with...

The three vehicals pulled up to the site of the wailing police sirens.. an old wearhouse district that local records say hadn't been used in years.. a couple of the warehouses seem to have exploded outwards, and the drivers from the three buggies were talking to the police agents at on the scene. Sidewinder scooted up closer for a beter look at what they were dealing with.. and got a glimpse of what looked like a large footprint crushing some concrete before it was covered up with tarp.

Sidewinder didn't know what was happening here, but he had a hunch it would be important.

It had been an hour since Avian Rex and Horizon had been ordered to gather any needed materials and both of them stood at the bottom of the steps leading up to an enormious machine, several circles of metal whirling in patterns that would be certainly uncomfortable non-cybertonian minds, the mathmatics behind the gate's function would take human scientists the better part of a century to fully understand.. but the cybertronians payed it's wonder little heed. It was nothing new to either of them.

Shockwave emerged from a platform above the room and looked down to his chosen scouts. "Punctial, as I expected. Good.. The gate is ready.. Go through and begin your tasks. Be carefull, the larger gate will not be ready for some time.. so reinforcements will not likely be an option."

The two saluted Shockwave and took the final steps forward into the portal.

Moments later.. back on earth.

A ripple in space began to swell and a swirling mass of energy erupted above an empty expance of desert as the two cybertronians stepped out. They looked to each other, then nodded silently and split up to find acceptable altnerate forms and begin the search.
