I'm sure we've had a thread like this up before, but I'm posting one up like this again.

Who would win?

Superman VS The Hulk

and post importantly, why? :D

Well that depends on if their fighting in character. If they aren't an easy way for superman to beat the hulk is just push whatever planet he happens to be on into the sun. In character where superman doesnt want to kill anyone it'll be tougher.

In my opinon it would also depend on what form the hulk is in. if he's in one of the forms where he could think smartly he'd likely be able to obtain kryptonite to weaken supes. But really it depends on wich form hulk's in, what terrain their in, if there are innocents, and a whole other bunck of factors.
now in a totaly barren terrain with just them and hulk not in his most powerful form supes could probaly take him out before hulk got too angry and too strong. but actully on earth there are a ton of factors that could slide it either way. and I said likely. really I can see it going either way.

I don't know what factors you guys are talking about.... if there are innocents nearby supes would just fly away. The Hulk would surely follow... the hulk gets bigger, stronger, faster, and regens more the madder and longer he fights... the downside is he gets bigger.... supes stars off faster, stronger, invulnerable and more range.... (eyes beams freezie breath...)

But yeah, unless they fight for like five hours, the hulk is not going to become strong enough to match supes in any category. Worst case scenario for supes is lures hulk to an island, like austrila, and throw Hulk, austrilla and Riven into space...

supes isnt invulnrable. and if the hulk was in one of his other forms where he was smart (if you dont remember these they're from the old days not the movie.) he might hunt up some kryptonite to even the playing feild... especialy if he was in grey hulk form.... I dont like the grey hulk form.

I'm pretty sure that if you take the version of hulk that ripped Onslaught inhalf.. that one could take out superman by sheer physical power alone even without having extra time to get angrier.

Superman ussually only uses as much force as nessisary (most of the time) So he'll underestimate the Anti-onslaught hulk.. and boom.. Superman's torn in half.

That form of hulk could conceavable even take out doomsday (who himself has beaten the piss out of superman in a physical battle a number of times.. so it CAN be done)

one prob with that form.... it inst hulk that initiated it. someone else forced that on hulk. one of the mutants if i remember correct

someone sealed his mind away and left only pure rage.


Doesn't mean someone else couldn't do it again and leave hulk somewhere for superman to find though..
