what kind of games, shows, movies do you think would be good crossovers gor the guyver and why?

To be honest.. I'm not really a fan of cross overs. Sometimes they're ok. But quite oftain they SUCK bigones.. (The horrable Transformers vs G.I.Joe graphic novel comes to mind.. I'm STILL mourning over that one)

Personally, I think the guyver works best in it's own world, untouched by other universes (This comes from an avid Guyver RPG'er, mind you, so take it with a grain of salt)

I have read a few good guyver crossovers, though. The Guyver/BGC crossover "Heart of the Beast" was excelently done...

Cross overs are rarely well done simply because people are fan of one simple genre and don't know the other one they're mixing and often make it incompatible, like a Buffy Guyver Cross over I read way back, now that kinda stuff should never mix just out of principle...

So unless things are VERY similar and workable, it should never be attempted unless there's creative leeway for both sides.

I have to agree with Bloodstorm, I'm not a fan of crossovers either, but that Guyver/BGC one was quiet good.

However when I see crossover stories such as, Dragonball Z/Sailor Moon/Pokemon/Digimon, I just want to take the author who wrote it and introduce them to my woodchipper!!

Some things are not meant to be made into crossovers.

Speaking of REALLY bad crossovers.. I read one that was a Guyver/Gargoyles/TMNT/BGC (And I think there was one other person) crossover.. not only was the entire concept horrable, but the writing was sad at best, and the authoer pulled a cop-out ending by shorting out all the cyborg-zoanoids when a pipe burst and water flodded the room.

Truely a sad thing...

Another sad crossover.... My Little Ponie/ Guyver.. I read one of those once.. Thankfully I was able to beat the stupid out of the author before he was able to upload it to the internet..

My Little Pony/Guyver?! You have got to be kidding me!!

I kid you not.. he wrote up a story where a my little pony got a gyver unit and used it to kill off all the evil in her world... Then it quicky degenerated into smut.. which is typical for this author's writing, as he oftain writes such things.. but this instance was truely a horror upon horrors..

Rest assured though.. the existance of this fanfic is no more.. I burned the only copy, then I beat the guy with a metal chair... repeatedly..

true there are some things that should never be done just on principle say like a DBZ/ guyver crossover. the powers levels are just way to far apart.

anyway back to the topic on hand i belive a guyver/x-men crossover could work. just take the guyver out and use the advents and zoanoids to explain the mutent gene. if you think about it that way it does kind of fit hand in hand. or the crossover where i got my name, a teknoman/guyver crossover.

when doing a crossover you don't always have to use the main hero or bad guy. sometimes you can just use one or two concepts from the other show.

As I mentioned to Warrior Zoalord earlier, I've been tempted to do a Guyver/Alien/Predator story or a Guyver/Bubblegum Crisis story, but I'm edging more towards the earlier as I can do so much more with it.

We once made a dbz/guyver cross over in high school, but we used our own storyline. All the original characters never existed only the concepts and backgroud story. I wanna try and make a marvel/guyver crossover since this includes 2 of my favorites.
