Title: Shuyin and Tidus

Ok I'm not sure if this will make any sense at all but, here i go.
I simply have one question and that is: Is Tidus Shuyin?
No i'm not crazy but I was replaying both Final Fantasy X and X-2 the other day and it struck me that they may in fact be the same person.
How? Well remember the fayth do say that Tidus is a dream, not only is he a dream but the whole Zanarkand he was from was a dream, right? They were created from the memories of those that died in the Machina war that Shuyin was of course killed in. So would that mean that they are the same person?
I'm sorry it just really confused me when someone said that to me and when i replayed it i noticed myself, so yeah i'm done now.

i read that he looked like him, but im not sure is it is him. he resembles him a lot. and your theory sounds plausible actually. hmm..i havent played the game yet as you know but..

They do look alike and maybe Shuyin's a blitzball player too? *shrugs* But despite that, I think they have different personalities. :unsure: ....Maybe the fayths combined different people into one? :blink:

tidus is a memoery of shuyin for sure.
but he isnt exact
and i dont think zanarkand had blitzball. i think thats something the fayth put in on there own.
because where the stadium is in the begining uit is a temple in the end

I once read though that Shuyin was infact a Blitzball player too so they must have had Blitzball in Shuyins time...

The whole factor of tidus actually being Shuyins memory. I think Tidus may in fact have just happened to be a random dream that looked like Shuyin, cause other than looks, I see no similarities.

I've recently been realting the stuff talked about him.
Maechen Theorizes that Tidus is created as a dream from the Fayth of Shuyin.
The Fayth just based Tidus off of Shuyin nothing more. If there was they would have explained it. Well, I guess both were in love witha summoner
