Which one was your favourite? did you manage to find 'em all? come here and post anything regarding FF 7 materia yah :cunning:

I love materia o'V'o But since I haven't played the other FFVIIs, in DoC, I say Thunder Materia ish the best :P

hmm..materia, found em all, masterd em all.
favourite was probably Ultima. Flare was pretty powerful too.
I did like the Enemy Skill materia if thats counted, had some amazing abilities to be learned. Pandoras box was great.

And that Shadow Flare was pretty smexy too..ten or so of that and Safer Seph was dead :P

my fav matria r, All and the HP one that increases the player health.

I'm especially found of recuperative materia. You never know when you might need to throw down a band aid in a pinch.

Enemy Skill is amazing materia. I never did get the chance to learn Pandora's Box in my previous game (before I deleted it. XP). Guess I'll have to be sure to get that this time around.

..and I've noticed the wonders of using Odin. He's a great summon.

I've also always had a fancy for the Comet materia you get while in the Ancient City. 'Tis a great spell.

Ultima has always been my favourite.
One of the best combos that everyone uses is the phoenix summon with final attack materia. thats the best.
Of course mime was just brilliant.

These new materia in Crisis Core though, some are really good.
Especially the new Bahamut Fury summon materia.

How exactly do you aquire the Final Attack materia? I've heard two different ways:

1. Chocobo Racing Gift

2. Win Dio's special battle at Battle Square in the Gold Saucer.

Can you shed some light on this for me, big brother? Thanks.

Yep its the second won. You gotta complete the battle arena.

"Go to Gold Saucer. Earn Omnislash (Cloud's level 4 limit break: 32,000 battle points) and W-Summon(65,000 battle points) in the battle arena. Then the lady at the front desk will ask you if you want to do a special battle arena. If you complete this you will get the great materia Final Attack (when a character dies, if they have final attack hooked with the Phoenix summon materia which damages the enemy and casts life 2 on all allies, just before they die, they will cast the Phoenix Summon and not only revive themselves, but anyone else who is dead. Very good agaist Emerald and Ruby weapons)."

What is the special battle, anyway?

Hm i dont remember who you fight but its just the same as the usual battle monsters and the same style but harder.

So 7-8 battles, with tougher enemies?

Ye im guessin thats right, you best remember to be equipped well cuz the slots that appear will piss you off and keep givin you bad status ailments. Ribbon is your friend.

Very n00bish question, but why did Cloud give Sephiroth the black Materia?

He didnt give him it intentionally man. Since Cloud was a failed experiment of a Sephiroth Clone, the real Sephiroth was able to control his willpower thanks to the Jenova cells that were injected into Cloud when he was experimented on. Sephiroth made Cloud give it to him.
Of course later Cloud gets stronger both mentally and physically and repels it and kicks his ass ;-D

Brilliant :D What did you equip final materia with? People usually go for either Phoenix or KoTR.

Phoenix, of course. It comes in handy when in the Crater. I sometimes forget to cast Death Force on all characters when fighting against Tonberry Kings. >,<

I was getting really pissed the other day. I decided to attempt to breed my Gold Chocobo. I have all qualifications to do so, including the Zeio Nut, Black Chocobo and Wonderful Chocobo, and they're both S Class racers. And no matter HOW MANY TIMES I RESET MY GAME, I KEPT GETTING NORMAL CHOCOBOS. I eventually gave up, even though I could really use that KOTR Materia right about now. I need to go beat mah Emerald pal down in teh water. ;D

D: Thats really unlucky. You seem to have all the specs right, not sure why your not getting it. Geuss you gotta keep at it. You'll get lucky.
