Well, its been quiet in these here parts so let's liven things here. So who do you think is the most powerfull or who's the weakest? any GF related topic welcome here too.

well the powerfullest would have to be eden of course, dont know about weakest. they're all good.
my favourite in 8 was probably Odin. that guy, damn he good.
of course gilgamesh was awesome too but he is no Odin.

i have to agree Odin was the best of them all, the weakest was well they are all good it just depends on the person i guess

hmm..maybe ill add a poll to this just to see the favourites.
oh wait...theres like 20 GF's or more in this game. i dont think a poll would fit that much....

holy crap i forgot about Diablos, i loved that guy.
its gotta be him for a priamry one and Odin for the hidden ones.

yea he's definetiny the best for the primary ones. btw, how do you get the phoenix and mini mog one? didnt get that O:

to get phoenix you need to use the phoenix feather item in a battle. then if all your characters die, phoenix will come and revive them all.
depending on your luck, high or low, he will come a lot of times if all of your characters die.

mog is available through another little console called a pocketstation. that you link with your ps. whilst playing ff8 link it and paly a little mission invovling choco and mog. complete it and mog will be unlocked in your ff8 through a mogs amulet which can be taught to a gf. it restores its HP. its very useful.

oh cool O: hmm.. i think i have one phoenix feather...erhh..... maybe not xD;;;; where can you get them? O:

did i say feather? i meant Phoeniox Pinion, im not entirely sure where you find them, one can be obtained in shumi village if you help them make that statue.
i think that is the only one i used and phoenix appeared three times for me in different situations.

oh, wait i think i have that! :'D i think xD;; and cool O: must try that! *waits for friday*

How I get a Moomba? =/

you got one have ya sonja? thats good, just use it in battle and phoenix should appear if all your party dies.

kar if you use a Friendship item during a battle and a Moomba will come to your rescue and attack the enemies.

friendship item? where can that be found?? O:

ooh sory should've said that the Friendship item like the Mog Amulet can only be recieved through the pocketstation. so its not likely you'll summon him. He doesnt do that much damage if i recall anyway, but it does look pretty sweet.

Hey I forgot to say..my favourite gf is...dun dun dun Quetzacoatl I would have said Eden but thing is...when I drew him outta Ultima Weapon it killed me faster..when I managed to kill Ultima Weapon...I forgot to draw Eden ;;>_< and I saved...so yah -___-

you can get eden again by drawing him from Omega Weapon, but thats even harder, Eden is friggin amazing. he is th only GF that does over 9999 damage with an attack.

lol yep, i forget what the attack was called but it looks awesome and its like 210000 dmamge or something. plus he has the devour ability which instantly swallows an enemy killing them. a funny little cut scene comes up saying censored.

I'm gonna have to say Doom Train. He's easily the best when it comes to abilities you get from leveling him up, and he's also VERY helpful against Seifer...

I'm sorry if this turns out as a double post, but I'm going to have to disagree with you about all of those.

1) Edin is hellish hard to get, and most dont get him. When you do, he's good, but the abilities you get from him aren't so great.

2) Odin is randomized, meaning that he only comes out in certain fights, and no boss fights except for against Seifer on the 3rd disk, and then, Seifer stops Zantetsuken and kills Odin with one hit.

3) He's also hard to get, as you MUST have Odin by the time you fight Seifer in the Lunatic Pandora. Plus, hes even more randomized than Odin. He only comes out on certain fights, no boss fights. But he's also limited to his moves. If he gets Zantetsuken, it kills most enemies, but still misses. If he gets Excalipoor, it deals 1 damage to all enemies. Excalibur and he's going good damage to all enemies, and Masamune deals great damage to all enemies.

Thats really random. Yeah, it can get get the job done, but theres still a risk.

u can get Eden even at the fourth disk on one of Ultimecia's monsters.. not sure whom tho O_O;; but he'll be really weak and only have a few abilities (reason why me got shocked eden can do actuall 21000 damage as said by nelo-san :3)

gigalmesh really has great bilities but yeah hes random and when me needs him the most he's not there =.= *pouts* Odin's really better tho :3 he keeps killing monsters at the deep sea facility tho O___O;;;

true he is hard to get, well all you need to do is draw him from Ultima, or Omega if you miss Ultima, but they are indeed difficult t beat. But Eden is powerful.

And about Odin, yes of course he is like that. i dont remeber saying anything different...All i said he was my favourite, how can you disagree with me about that?

And yes again, i know that about Gilgamesh, and i did say he is no Odin, because he so randomised...

I had every single GF in that game including those bonus ones i mentioned.
