I dont think its worth my money, not yet since theres like 0 good games for it and its STILL so expensive. Maybe when prices go down a bit..like say 5 years.XD

Actually, sales for the PS3 have started rising, predicted to soon surpass the 360 is sales continue at this rate.

Because new games are coming out relatively soon. It was a very stupid idea to release so early just to be around the time of the wii, even though they had such little games...

IMO= In my opinion. DC3 looks to be promising, but so did Sonic the Hedgehog for 360, which was a brutal fail to the series.

Besides, PS3 doesn't have Banjo Three OR gears of War.

Well, I've never played any of those series....and most likely the new tekken+ the new kh will be ps3 exclusive.

There's actually talk of the next console version of Kingdom hearts to be on Wii.

The Playstation 3 just needs more game releases like MGS4 and FFXII to come out. You'll see sudden changes on sales if I predict correctly.

Overall, the PS3 is not worth anyone's money or work. Why may you ask?


Because although it boasts swell graphics, there's zilch games to play on it. Sure,you might have Devil May Cry 4, Fall of Man 1 (or 2), and perhaps you're thinking of getting Soul Caliber III and GTA IV for it, but what about the online playing?

Everyone else is off playing Halo 3 or CoD 4 on Xbox Live, because it works, and has been around, a dead run longer than anything Sony could come up with.

And AWESOME! A freaking 80GB hard drive! BUT GUESS WHAT? Sony goes ahead and installs some garbage nto it in order for games to load up "faster." Then you sit for about 15 minutes installing Devil May Cry 4 onto your PS3, which comes to being 4.7GB in size, and then you can finally sit down and play.

AND the games Sony uses as cash cows are all moving to PORTABLE SYSTEMS, which means you just bought that PS3 for NOTHING! (kudos to the guy who sold his PS3 on Ebay the first day they came out for around $9,500 though. And to everyone on ATTACK OF THE SHOW! for finding that out.) Sony losses in sales for the PS3 were that drastic, they just had to switch to portable. You poor, poor soul.

So you just bought that PS3 for totally nothing more than a few play-by-yourself-or-with-a-friend-at-home games, while everyone else is off having the time of their life either playing online on the Wii (insert any Mario game or Zelda here) , or playing Halo 3 or CoD 4 for the 360 on Xbox Live.

You better hope to God (Or any other supernatural higher being) you didn't sell your Xbox 360 or Wii, 'cause you're gonna want it.

Hey, I love my PS3. :cunning: ...Although the constant glitches on Assassin's Creed was a total pain and the connection on CoD4 isn't worth applauding either. -_-

However, PS3 has Final Fantasy Versus XIII :D

I shall be gettin a ps3 for God of War 3.

The reason i have a ps3 and not a 360 is because the 360 is mainly for online play any way, not every body playes online and most of the people dont like to play as much, as me so in the end im used to play on my own any way.

To me halo 3 sucks loads and gears of war is way to short on single campaign, so i traded in for the ps3.

I am thinking of getting one, since Nintendo is making me cry and get away from half of the games they have. Should I start saving up?

Meh... I wouldn't, but thats me. I'd rather have a cheaper 360, cause I find it just as good, plus 360 has the better exclusives (Assassin creed, and the such)

Some ACTUAL 360 exclusives are the Ninja Gaiden 2, Fable 2, Gears of War 2, and Halos. xD Thats just a few popular ones. Some popular ps3 exclusives are Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, SOCOM: Confrontation, God of War III, Final Fantasy XIII - Final Fantasy Versus XIII, and Tekken 6.

It all depends on your taste in gaming. Looking at the list I might need to save up for a ps3, some of those games look really good. >_>

Aha! See, each 3rd generation console has its pros and cons. ^^ The 360 is made for online gameplay because it's from Microsoft.

Its not made specifically FOR online play, per say. It may be a big part of the games, but every game I've ever played on my 360 has been fine single player.
