hey, I was wondering, I have this game, but I just can't bring myself to play it. Is it really that amazing?

it is one of the best RPG's out there. it revolutionised RPG gaming. The story, the gameplay is unbelivable, people may say its overated but the fans just want more cuz it is that damn good.

Erich, I am ashamed that you are my cousin and you haven't played FFVII. That game that you hold in your possession is like the godfather of all RPGs. Amazing characters, Amazing storyline, Amazing everything. If you do not play this game i shall destroy you...... :ph43r:

The lack of graphics may take some getting used to if you started from FFX like I did, but other than that, I loved it.

true the graphics are not that good, but at that time it was revolutionary. hehe..
the story and gameplay make up for its awesomness.

Does anyon REALLY care about the graphics? I don't. I think that the PS3 shot itself in the foot when they decided to focus on Graphics

i guess grapihcs arent that important, but people do want a game that loks good. and in this day and age, since we are capable of exquiite graphics, why the hell not. it makes a game look very impressive. of course other factors are just as important but graphics do make it stand out.
ff7 at that time was graphically good for that was what was capable at that time. a remake would be awesome.
and ps3 did not shoot itself man, they got excellent graphical games and the game themselves excell at other points like story, gameplay and replay value and stuff. sony know what they are doing. its not just the graphics they concentrate on. God of War impressed vastly, a sony game that was.

X-Box has a tendency to do that too.
That's why Nintendo rules the gaming world--focuses on gameplay above all else B)

very good dosent even cut it lol. its like the one of the best games of its time and it the best story of all the ff games out there.
