Plus with the 1:1 wii mote modification swordplay will be easier to do.
I am still trying to get my head around it but I do like the concept.

Why do they keep doing this? Why is he using a sword now? Why couldn'the use one on the previous games? Why untill now he couldn't use weapons at all? Sure he looks badass holding a sword but that's not the Sonic we know and love.
The real sonic jumps on his enemies and smashes them to pieces or runs right through them spinning at the "speed of light". This can't be good.

That is true, It probably will fail. I buy all the sonic games anyways though.
Who knows? They maybe will make this awesome. But I think they may need to slow down... They must be working on Unleashed and this at the same time...Plus, it's the same team that made Sonic And The Secret Rings, which in my opinion, failed badly...
