So Starting tomorrow I won't be online for the whole week end. thats at least 3 days I'll be gone.

I'll be spending my weekend at silverwood ( a theme park) camping out. since it will be for 3 days there is also a big possibility I'll want to rest on monday as well. so a possible 4 days.

just thought some of you might liek to know

so I went to Silverwood (a theme park) for the weekend

I spent the Friday just doing what ever.
Saturday at their water park
Sunday on rides. (rollercoasters,water rides, etc.

I have gone several times before during this season as well.

and each time I watch the magic show.
In fact I have seen it often enough that the magician recognizes me.
And he has this one card trick calle the 3 card monte. and you need to keep your eye on the red card. (the ace of hearts) the other two are the 2 of clubs and the 3 of clubs. (black cards

it looks extremely obvious that he places the red card face down on the left. and then the other to in a row next to it. then he moves the two cards on the RIGHT. (while YOU think that they are the two black cards)
these two cards he just swtiches places. (really slowly...as part of the joke). and it is obvious that the "red card" doesn't move.

he says to point to the red card.

so you point to the card on the left. but its not the ace. it was in the middle.


so then he does it again but this time he says that since it ended up in the middle he'll place the acein the middle and the two black cards on either side. then the move (just him sliding the cards with his fingers over and under the middle card but never crossing) and the cards don't switch places.

he asks again for you to point to the red card. and it is "obvious" that it is in the middle. so you point to the middle card.

BUT ITS RIGHT THERE ON THE LEFT.

so he gives you one more chance.

he takes the "3 of clubs" and places it on the top and the "ace" on the left and the "2" on the right. so you have a card at the top and two cards on the bottom side by side horizontally.

then the move. (he shakes the cards.) they never cross.

then he points to the top card and tells you to point to where you think the red card is.

but you think its on the bottom left so you want to point there but he insists you point at the top card. THE ACE


now heres the thing. I had seen the trick like 5 times

so I know where the cards are. and..

Well, I was in an aisle seat so I could se well and the magician picked the person across from me for the trick.

heres the mistake though.

when the time came his assistant came and got ME instead.

I decided though not to totally screw up his trick and played stupid and picked the wrong cards

Awesome. Shou;d have taught that magician a thing or two though...

well it was his assistants fault. not his.

Fired the assistant on stage. THAT would be awesome.

Gil... what can i say, you're a better man than me.... i'm not sure if i could resist exposing the trick. But i'm also a magic/illusion fan so i completly understand what you did was for the good of the show kudos to you sir.

yeah I am also a performer and I respected him as one as well.

also another funny story while I was there.

they have a water park and after eing in water for some time I got bored.

so I decided to tan. I applied sunblock to my exposed areas. and of course my back

BUT, I forgot to have someone help me.

so I have all these splotches where my back is sunburnt but there are pasty white spots every other place. it looks so weird
people said "how did you do that"

also ther are spots where my fingers reached with the sunblock so I have a sunburn line that goes around fingertips.
