well i really wanna know how many people have ACTUALLY tried these mysterious stick shaped candies sold at local conveniant stores that i have never seen or heard of lol until now

Yup another japanese treat, i never actually tried this one but the otaku in me begs to swim across the planet to get one.

This drink is a soda pop, very very very sweet, also prominently placed in animes, being it's apearance more noticeable on RahXephon and Lamune in this one the drink is actually linked to some of the story. Although only popular to the western world due to this typpe of media the ramune was already around since the late 80s.
I heard it already reached the U.S and is sold for about $1.50 a pop.

Anyway this fizzy drink is somewhat peculiar as in by opening it you will have to push a marble inside the bottle doing this wil certainly result in you getting your hands wet by the drink. Another trick to this bottle is that you will have to position the bottle in a correct position so that the marble doesn't block the drink. The easiest way to drink itwould be by using a staw but that would be cheating! XD


Aside from being extra sweet and fizzy it's nothing more than carbonated water with perhaps a small hint of lemon or lime. There are several flavours but i heard that it only adds a small fruit hue. The drink has no nutritional value, but who cares?

After drinking the ramune you are left with an empty bottle and sticky hands from the drink, however for $1.50 it kinda feels bad getting rid of the bottle and keep it as a souvenir specialy since it washes easely.
Of course you might also want the marble inside, but to get it you either have to break the bottle or heat the plastic retainer until it is soft enough to cut with a knife.
