In this RPG/survival game you are put against the fury of mother nature as she tears the city apart with merciless rains and floods.

Players must think on their feet and utilize creative survival skills to have any hope of seeing their family again. Body temperature and health decrease when players are wet or in cold weather too long - they must find places to warm themselves and scrap together meals from whatever they can find. In the end, players must run, climb, jump, and crawl their way out of this devastated city, while constantly trying to piece together information from emergency broadcasts and other victims of the disaster.

There are six playable characters in this game each with it's own story, each one crosses with the other's at some point and past decisions will weight on the future of the other characters.

Before starting the game you are offered a tuturial. I find this part rather funny and ironic since it places your first character in a survival course on a simulation center, where he attempts to get some kind of mark. It's as if they already knew that disaster was going to strike!

The year is 2010...

The underground city, Geo City, is a project put together to design the safest and most advanced city ever built in the world. The newly-opened city is working great and the Mayor's Conference to commemorate the opening is going well, aside from a bit of rain outside. Joshua and Stephanie are just two of the waiters helping make the conference go as smoothly as possible. But, when the nearby Levee breaks and the Hudson River begins to flood the city from above and the building the conference is being held in begins to be pummeled and destroyed by the raging rapids. The city and everyone in it are in total panic and turmoil. Can anyone escape the city alive? Will Geo City and all its citizens be put into an eternal watery grave?...

Now for gameplay.

One of the many rest points.

Has it was said before, the key to stay alive in this, is to keep yourself warm and dry, to do so you have sort of checkpoints scattered all over town were you can automaticly dry off your character and cook food that you gather from the ruins of the city, mostly can be found on abandoned super markets and restaurants.
That's not all if you find yourself far away from your last rest point and you're not sure where the next one is going to be, you can also change clothes, which can be pratical and pretty fashionable or just silly.
Many items you'll need to get through the city wont be available to you just like that so the game introduces you the ability to put together your own items, crafty huh?
You'll need to carry lots of items in your trip but to do so you need a way to carry them, that's right no magic pockets here. You have collect backpaks and other stuff to store your heat pads, food, clothes and other survival junk.

All these adventures place you with a friend so expect lots of team co-op, meaning you'll have to do twice the work while they simply cheer you on and most of the time it will be you saving their butts than they helping out in any way.

Some of the hazards in the game are pretty obvious others will take you by surprise, it wil get your heart racing at some point.

I give this game an 8/10.
