North Corel

Originally a shanty town that was built by the survivors of the original Corel. The town has prospered since the fall of Midgar and the abandonment of Mako as an energy source. Since the town sits almost directly above a giant reserve of coal it has become important and rich from mining this resource for energy production. The mayor of Corel is former AVALANCHE member/leader Barret Wallace.
