Mideel Island Chain
The Mideel Island Chain is a chain of islands that hug the southern edge of the Eastern Continent. The town of Mideel, after which the entire island chain is named, can be found on the southwest most and largest of the islands. A materia cave exists on the northeast most island of the chain.
The Mideel Island Chain was formed by severe lifestream activity within that area of the ocean, which cause the ground to rise and create the islands. As the plates of Gaia have moved and slid over this area of high activity, the chain lengthened. Right now the most active island is the smallest northwest most of the chain. The life stream activity on this island is so high that it has caused the formation of a materia cave.
