Library The library is the place where the FFVII fan-work is kept. The Mod's are picky though so only good stuff is allowed here. If you want to recommend something be added, whether the work is your own or somebody else's, just PM Miashin.

Midgar Midgar sits in the middle of a large plain on the eastern continent. The area around the city has become distorted and polluted as a result of the use of mako reactors. After the destruction of Meteor, the survivors of Midgar used debris from the city to build a new town called "Edge" on the outskirts of Midgar. Midgar itself now only serves as a home to monsters, outlaws, and the scattered remains of Deepground.

Edge Edge is a city built north of the remains of Midgar and is where most of the refugees from Midgar now live, including Cloud Strife and Tifa Lockheart, former members of AVALANCHE. Notably Tifa Lockheart is the proprietor of one of Edge's most popular bars as well as the manager of the "Strife Deliver Service," in partnership with Cloud Strife.

Kalm A germanic-style town northeast of Midgar, outside the wasteland surrounding it. It is primarily populated by current and former workers of the nearby Mythril Mine. Which has only recently returned to service after the town recovered from Deep Ground's attack and the great loss of life that it had suffered.

Mythril Mine A mine to the south of Kalm. It was once, and is slowly becoming again, the location of Kalm's main industry. It was abandoned due to the appearance of monsters within and around the mine, which were created from the mako pollution being produced by Midgard. The Midgar Zoloms in the swamp outside the mines were an example of the creatures that had taken up residence, though almost all the monsters appear to be extinct now.

Fort Condor A mountain-based fortress belonging to the WRO (World Regenesis Organization) located on the lower east side of the eastern continent. The fort is named for the massive breed of condor that resides there. The most identifying feature of the fort's construction is how its built incorporates the old mako reactor atop the mountain as well as the fact that most of the forts insides are dug right out of, and into, the mountain stone. There are currently two Condor eggs under the close guard of both their parents and the WRO.

Junon Junon sits along the west coast of the eastern continent. The surrounding terrain and ocean are still recovering from the pollution caused by the operations of the city's undersea mako reactor, now inactive and closed to all public access. The original village of Junon (located under the upper city's airport) is inhabited mostly by impoverished citizens, a style of development eerily reminescant of old Midgar and its upper plate-lower slums construction. The upper city was formerly the location of Shinra's military headquarters, featuring an airport, and submarine docks.

Healin Lodge The Healin Lodge is a secret, now not so secret, high class get away location. Tucked away within the mountain range that cuts the eastern continent in thirds, it is located in the same 'third' as Junon and Fort Condor. Directly south of Kalm and north from Fort Condor.

Chocobo Farm The Chocobo Farm was the first of its kind, specializing in the capturing, taming, raising, and breeding of chocobo's beyond the common practices of simply keeping the chocobo and letting it loose into the wilds once its use had run out like most ranches did. Although time has passed and the Farm's practices have been adopted by nearly all ranches, there is still no higher class chocobo then a Farm bred chocobo. The Chocobo Farm is located in the eastern plains area of the Eastern Continent.

Gold Saucer The only way to reach Gold Saucer is by Gondola Ride known as the Ropeway. The Gold Saucer is an odd mix between amusement park, casino, and show theater. This park has rides, gambling dense, and one of the most high tech stages in the world, suited for anything from theatrical production to full orchestra performances. The Gold Saucer also has Gaia's most advanced chocobo race tracks, and only the best birds of the best are allowed to race in its arena. And for anybody wishing to spend the night at the Gold Saucer, even their accommodations are given a taste of the exotic, albeit of the spooky horror movie sort. The desert prison at the base of Gold Saucer is currently 'out of operation'.

Cosmo Canyon Cosmo Canyon is a pilgrimage site for those who wish to pursue the study of Planet life. The terrorist group "AVALANCHE" was founded in Cosmo Canyon, and Barret, the leader, promised his companions that when Shin-Ra was destroyed he would take them there. For years, Cosmo Canyon was protected by the a tribe of warriors. Nanaki (Red XIII) is the current guardian. Cosmo Canyon was once at war with the Gi Tribe but they were defeated by Nanaki's father Seto. Seto fought against the Gi Tribe, and sacrificed himself, and was turned to stone. Seto continues to watch over Cosmo Canyon as a stone statue. Notable features in Cosmo Canyon include an observatory created by Bugenhagen, the Cosmo Candle, the guardian fire which always burns, and the Shildra Inn, where they serve a popular drink named after the Cosmo Candle.

Nibelheim Nibelheim is a small mountain village close to Cosmo Canyon. It is the hometown of both Cloud Strife and Tifa Lockhart. The village was burnt to the ground by Sephiroth, killing most of its inhabitants. Later however, the Shin-Ra corporation rebuilt the town and populated it with its own employees - covering up the incident. Most of the Shin-Ra's Sephiroth clones, waiting for the Reunion, can be found all around the town. There is an inactive Mako Reactor located on nearby Mt. Nibel.

Rocket Town Rocket Town was once bustling with scientists, because the first rocket launch to outer space was to take place here, on the rocket Shin-Ra No. 26. However, the program was canceled and the remains of the project, including the rocket, left to rot in the town. The rocket was destroyed during the Sephiroth War. Currently the town serves as a headquarters for the WRO's airship fleet as well as the hub and center of a new space program.

Wutai Wutai is a country occupying a large island off the western-most continent, although the name is primarily used to refer to the only known settlement on the island. Yuffie Kisaragi is the princess of Wutai. Yuffie's father, Godo, led the city in a struggle for dominance against Shin-Ra but lost, and materia was banned in Wutai as a result. Wutai, like Junon, has prospered under the absence of Shinra and the destruction of Midgar and has become a major tourist site as well as economic center in recent times.

North Corel Originally a shanty town that was built by the survivors of the original Corel. The town has prospered since the fall of Midgar and the abandonment of Mako as an energy source. Since the town sits almost directly above a giant reserve of coal it has become important and rich from mining this resource for energy production.

Gongaga
Gongaga Village is a town on the Western Continent. Shin-Ra built a Mako Reactor near the town, which exploded and killed most of the townsfolk after an attack by the original AVALANCHE. After this tragedy Gongaga was left relatively alone and undisturbed, even by the events of the Sephiroth war, thus walking into the the town is like walking into a time capsule as things have changed little in the town since that time.

Forgotten City The Forgotten City was the primary city/community of the ancient Cetra civilization. It is located on the arctic Northern Continent, not far from the Icicle Inn and the Northern Cave. The city itself has now been abandoned for about two millennia. After Jenova nearly wiped out the Cetra, the few survivors left and gradually became assimilated into human culture.

Northern Crater The Great Crater is the original impact site of Jenova and can be reached through the Northern Cave, and sometimes the two are combined into the term Northern Crater. The WEAPONs slept under the ice here for thousands of years following their creation. The remaining portion of Sephiroth's body emerged here after traveling through the Lifestream and became encased in a mako cocoon. The crater is also the site of the Jenova Reunion and, later, the final three battles. It was also where the Turks found Jenova's head and first encountered the Remnants of Sephiroth.

Icicle Inn The name is somewhat misleading as this is an entire town, not just an Inn. This town is a very popular tourist attraction during the ski and snowboarding seasons. Beyond that its a small well to do town that prefers to take care of itself rather then mess with big world affairs.

Ancients Island The Island of the Ancients, or Ancient's Island, is a large island just south of the Eastern Continent's west most edge. It was on this island that the Ancients had built a great temple, which was later transformed into the black materia by the hero's of Gaia. The island is thickly forested and unpopulated. Where the temple once stood there is now nothing more then a large crater within the earth. Finding the crater can be dangerous as it has been overgrown by fast growth vines, grasses, and because the tree line reaches right up to the edge. It is very easy to not see the crater until one has fallen straight out of the forest into it.

Materia Caves These caves are very special. In these locations the life stream pushes up out of the earth as a liquid which eventually crystallizes into natural materia. Outside of the black markets, these caves are the only places a person can get materia from today. These are also places of pilgrimage for people with Geostigma as bathing in the liquid life stream can cure the disease, under risk of mako poisoning of course.
