Emma acts rude to the organizations non-claymore members as well as humans. Emma is loud when with her friends and silent when with complete strangers. Emma has a short temper due to her hatred for humans and monsters. Other then being hateful, Emma doesn’t like to talk down to other people, but to them as equals. She concludes that doing that lessens the chance of fighting with other people. Emma likes to have freedom, something that is reduced in the organizatiion, she also likes to question orders. Which gets her in trouble.

General skill:
Characterized by her swift and agile non-linear movement, she is so flexible and unpredictable in fights that she is teased by others as being like a monkey.

Special skill: Emma will stretch her body in awkward positions in order to dodge hits made upon them. Like if a sword was swiped horizontially towards her neck then emma could stretch her neck and make her neck stretch enough to bend her head and neck back aways to avoid the swipe. Or another example is if Emma is in a hallway and a fast approaching iron bolt is going for her left kidney. She can stretch her stomach and chest to make her torso smaller by extending her body. Emma can also stretch her legs to position herself in between two walls in mid-air.

History:

Emma was born into a family of 8 in a town named Liba. Oddly enough Emma was the only girl, and she was the youngest of the 6 boys. All of the boys were 13-25. Emma’s mom and dad were very wealthy and basically ran the town of 750 people. Emma had a perfect life, she was safe, and always had other girls to play with.

Months later two Yoma attacked two families killing them. The yoma then disappeared, Emma’s family then took it upon themselves to hire the claymores to slay them.

Then one fateful night before the claymore’s came, several gangs of bandits raided the town, luckily only 5 were killed from thier town, When the yoma attacked the raiders they killed about 6 before they retreated, but most of all the money was gone in the town by the time that happened. Then the next day When the claymore finally arrived it slayed the Yoma and then told them about the man dressed in black, he came a few hours later.

When the town broke the news that they had no money, the man in black left instantly as if he was interested anymore, he did mention that he would come back later for something as a payment.Since the town was partly destroyed and no one knew when the claymore would com back ;the town was left is utter confusion on what they would do if more Yoma came…And they did.

About a week later about two dozen yoma attacked the town. The attacked and killed everyone they saw, soon more yoma joined in. Emma’s family was attacked by more then a few Yoma, since there house was the biggest and nicest in the whole town, It stood as the Center of the town.

Emma’s brothers and father took up arms and tried to keep them from getting side. Emma’s mother and here went through a secret corridor in the bathroom underneath the tub. They fled from the city, running as they heard the screams of their brothers.

Back at the house the yoma overwhelmed the house killing the brothers easily. They then encircled the father and took turns taking blows at him; it didn’t take them long to finish him off. They then swarmed the house looking for the other two, and saw the tub moved and rushed into the hall of earth under ground.

Soon the mother knew what was happening and convinced Emma to keep running while she stayed and gave them a distraction. Emma couldn’t believe what her mother was about to do, but Emma was so scared that she kept running away, until she was safe.

Her mother’s screams then followed after her thoughts of running. Several minutes later she could hear the howls of the yoma coming after her she made it to the light and ran even more, she made her way to a well outside of town. She fell unconscious and fell in the well luckily getting nothing more then a few bruises. Then about a day later when someone from the organization was passing by he decided to get a drink; and that’s when he discovered Emma and brought her to be a claymore after he heard her story. Emma has been a trainee ever since that day.

Personality..

First, Neutral Lawful characters are those who strictly fallow rules, not question them. I got impression your not really Lawful character.

Skill..

You forgot to add attribute, from your 'skill' I would say you should add "Dexternity" (I think we still haven't edited the footnotes about it but just added additional thread).

Your skill somehow feels like just increasing yoki in your leg, but then again timing and perception is fine, so it can be considred as trained skill. In other words, I have nothing against it.

History...

...no offence, your mother character was a freaking rabbit. I don't know what family could comprehend having 22 children nor what kind of body would bear to bore so many of them. Does it really needs to be 22 ?

Yoma, Bandits, Claymores, Yoma again. Tough luck...how the hell the Bandits menaged to steal anything when they got slaughtered ? :D And why would they bother continuing the plunder seeing that the town is infected with yoma.

The whole lack of money part seems unnecesary, they would collect it later or sooner or take something else as a price, for example someone's daughter or son.

..he wanted a drink, lol...

Psh yea I would totally get a drink after all that hard walking too XD :P
Anyways i edited the 22 kids thing, i guess i was too bored haha. I put the attribute thing up and changed the skill, i think its better. Fixed the alignment. I Cleared up some of the town raiding stuff. Also about the money thing, I edited it, but i remember teresa saying towns are destroyed shortly after they dont pay.

Changed my mind, join training mission Stos. You will appear from forest and report to Rabant. No one will be around.

Hi Stop&Stare,

For the History of Emma, I think it's highly unlikely for 2 Yomas to come together to kill 2 families. How would the town know that its 2 Yomas? Why did the 2 Yomas kill 2 families? It gives me the impression that you're trying to make the numbers flow. 2 yomas --> 2 families.

I guess you're very particular about numbers and that's where I spot many mistakes when you place the numbers in. Earlier, there's mention that the town has 750 people. Seems like the 750 people could not put up a good fight with a band of bandits, and though they did, only 5 died. >.> I'm sure 750 people would be able to eliminate a band of bandits somehow. It also seem very coincidental that the Yoma would attack the raiders. I wonder why so? They have a town of 745 people to disguise and feed on, why would they go for a band of bandits?

Maybe you can rewrite the above portion before we continue? :)

Seems Hyn got to it first. Overdrama and alot of exageration. Also I think a small band of raiders wouldnt have been able to steal that much money as to make the town so poor considering Emma's family seemed well off to run the whole town. I'm guessing her father was the town's chief or something of equivalence.

There's also very little logic in them fighting the yoma since her father and brothers aren't capable in combat like claymores. Logically they would have escaped also I think... It's also noted by Clare at some stage that its rare for Yoma to act in groups so a dozen yoma... thats like a small battalion. While its suitable considering theres 700+ ppl remaining alive but 12 yomas agains 700... Surely they must have had some ways of escape instead of being massacred. Alrighty fix what Hyn has requested and we'll see where we go from there.

Is it ok to rewrite the whole thing about the family? I didnt put that much effort so I guess I need to pay attention to stuff like that.

Elcura - June 9, 2008 10:37 PM (GMT)
I never felt the need to comment on the skill since I felt it was fine. Guess in posted this I just did though.

Hynavian - June 24, 2008 03:08 PM (GMT)
Yes, please rewrite if you feel like it and make a post to let us know when you're done. I'll be handling the history a little while Miria is having her vacation.
