Height: 186 cm

Weight: 63 kg

Dominant arm: Right

Attribute: Dexterity

Appearance: Demian looks neither brawny nor too thin – he is like a cat, ready to jump, hunting his prey. He has tattoo all over his body, there are two snakes winding around his hands and one around his neck. Among the other characters and scenes, drawn on his body (like various predators or even insects and plants), there is also a picture, representing the “forest god” yoma – a gift from the priests.

He wears his hair long, and yoma picture, which is on his back, is usually hidden by it. Sometimes he gathers his hair into long tress – there is no fun to be blind in the middle of a stir or when looking for trouble on the horizon.
He wears only trousers, because thinks, that any other clothes constrain his movement. He doesn’t like much clothes in general.

Special Skill:
Yoki using skill: puts yoki into his legs, allowing himself to perform a rapid dash. This skill is originally used for attacking from ambush and running away from enraged enemy. Usually used to commit series of quick short or long jumps in order to confuse the enemy and then to attack suddenly. Legs are especially forced in this conditions.

History: Demian grew up in a very special environment. He was brought up in a very special society, living as a part of religious sect and he had never heard from his own family. That society existed as an isolated and independent community in a deep thick forest, that survived only by the gifts forest blessed them with. The sect consisted of hunters (mostly), gatherers and priests. Their religion worshiped the forest and any living being hiding under the shadows of the great ancient trees.

Demian was also trained as a hunter, but he always felt himself an alien, who didn’t belong to that community, so he hadn’t ever care about the rules. He grew as a devil-may-care, running free as much as the sect would let him. Without any care about religion, he spent much time in the forest, concentrating on his education in this way (which got him in trouble with most of the priests, except one, who was quite young and liberal). And he really loved it – freedom, deep and dark forests. Spending his time there made him a specialist in the science of hunting (as much as 10 year child could be).

Then that day came… A yoma appeared in their forest. The first to become it’s victim was a member of a hunting group. The others from that group were able to return and tell the whole sect this incredible news. This was a sacred sign for all priests – a new incarnation of the forest god, came upon them. They haven’t ever seen such creature before, so there was no doubt about it’s divine origin. And it was hungry. Really hungry (maybe because of waiting a 1000 years).

So, the unbelievers were the ones chosen for sacrifices. Fortunately, an important road was placed about 20 kilometers from their village with caravans passing through it every day. Thus, it became the source for fresh meat. And this was when hunters abilities came into use. For about a month were caravans being attacked from ambush, many merchants became food for the insatiable yoma. And he understood that it was very stable source of food, letting him disappear within the people of the village.

But it didn’t last long – one day the soldiers were sent along with the caravan, and this was the moment when hunters realized the difference between hunting animals and professional warriors. The whole party was slain, no one returned home. So, the people of village were to become food for their god themselves. The great decline came to the village.

A very few men survived, they couldn’t provide the sect with food. Again and again they were prowling along the road, looking for some stragglers, and all that they got was immediately eaten by the Yoma. People starved and died one by one, one day the remaining men of the village managed to make a great ceremony for their god to bring peace back to their forest. They were totally despaired, they’ve lost all their hope in this month of madness.

And Demian saw them dying one by one and the beast laughing and dancing by their lifeless bodies. He had never believed in all those tales, just as he begun to think about it, his beliefs totally crashed into pieces. And he saw the creature satisfying it’s hunger, and he hated it by his whole heart.

It wasn’t a god, that brought balance to the world, it was a living nightmare which had crawled from the deepest corner of the darkest soul, bringing only death and pain.

Demian managed to get out from the village. He had no debts with those people, they were nobody for him. He had learned all he needed. Stupid religion, stupid cowards...And he roamed along the road for a week, trying hard to find some food and water.

Finally he was caught by another group of soldiers, which recognized him as one of forest bandits so he was enslaved and brought to the nearest city. He spent there some time, using any moment for slipping away, and one day he was bought as a slave by a strange person in black…
