Kaiserin - Holding Team
Kaiserin stood lazily while waiting for her last member to show up. He was slow, but eventually he made it and introduced himself to the group with a smile and a salute.
"He used his second name...? Perhaps he has trouble letting go of his past." Kaiserin said softly to Kaiserin, unaware if anyone had heard her. Most people did not introduce themselves with a second name, the Organisation liked it's soldiers disconnected from their past. Kaiserin thought for a second what her second name used to be. "Celest...?"
With everyone in her team present she walked forward ahead of them, turning back with a gesture that said 'follow me'. Not waiting or looking back to see if they actually understood the signal. Kaiserin walked towards the town, heading east. A few paces later she remembered something crucial.
“Holding Team; you are to patrol the western perimeter of the town"
"Crap, which way am I going...? I was going east...? Or was it west, no. I should be going west... Uh oh..." Kaiserin stopped suddenly and staggered. She looked up, then to the left and then to the right. Eventually she looked at the towns south gate.
"If that's the south gate then," she pointed north-west "this must be west!"
Kaiserin walked quickly, generally going west. The usually comforting sound of her metal sabatons clanking on the ground were drowned out by the rain and muddy floor. Eventually her team reached the western perimeter. Her heart rate slowed as she calmed down. The worry of getting lost was gone so she finally relaxed.
Kaiserin looked towards her harem and grinned roguishly at them before telling them the plan.
"Well, we're here at the western gate. Our mission is to secure the area, but since the Decoy Team hasn't begun it's mission we can't actually secure the western perimeter of the town. So for now we'll make sure the outer perimeter is secure, though I don't expect to meet any Yoma you should never let your guard down." Kaiserin said confidently, like a small child who was trying to feel important in front of the grown-ups. She continued.
"I want you all to patrol the area around here for a little, Ludwig and Siegfried will go check out the north western area while Walter and I will search the south-west. Umm..." She tried to think of something else to say, "oh, don't release any Yoki. We will need it as a way to signal each other if there's a situation that cannot be handled safely alone, and later on we might need to use Yoki to signal each other should any of us find the targets."
There was still something else she was forgetting. Her face went completely blank while she thought hard on what else needed to be said. After a few seconds of silence, Kaiserin started to scratch her head before opening her mouth.
"Ahh, right. When you hear that the Decoy Team has started their mission, finish up any business you have, if any and make your way to the western gate as soon as possible."
Kaiserin nodded to herself, agreeing that she had said everything that was important to them, so far. "That's all there is for now, I suppose," now looking towards where HQ should have been, Kaiserin wondered how the other teams were doing...
Ludwig
Shortly after the last member of the squad arrived kaiserin made the gesture that they were moving out. Though she was moving in the wrong direction for a short period of time and seemed to be talking quietly to herself, ludwig couldn't hear what she was saying but she quickly gathered her senses and headed in the right direction before he had to say anything "does she know what shes doing? this is a little worrying."
They stoped at the west gate, the captain grinned at them before laying out the detailes of their mission more precisely with a childish confidence. she continued, "I want you all to patrol the area around here for a little, Ludwig and Siegfried will go check out the north western area while Walter and I will search the south-west. Umm..." Ludwig looked at his partner, "seems compitent enough, hes numbered so thats good. im with him then" he thought "oh, don't release any Yoki. We will need it as a way to signal each other if there's a situation that cannot be handled safely alone, and later on we might need to use Yoki to signal each other should any of us find the targets." It sounded simple enough. "We're basically just walking around and trying not to be spotted then. It would be unlikely for any yoma to gather around here since there are so many warriors, Though stranger things may have happened"
"Ahh, right. When you hear that the Decoy Team has started their mission, finish up any business you have, if any and make your way to the western gate as soon as possible. That's all there is for now, I suppose."
Ludwig determined that she was done speaking though she had given him that impression a few times before; he looked at his partner again. "Alright Sieg' Lets go then." he said as he motioned at sieg for him to lead the way.

.:Siegfried:.
Siegfried walked in silence following his team members and captain to the designated area. 'I think we are going east...weren't we suppose to go west?' Siegfried was thinking as they were moving towards their destination. Kaiserin stopped and corrected herself and they began to move west.
'Should I be worried? Probably just an honest mistake.' Siegfried watched the back of Kaiserin's head wondering if she was acting like that on purpose. He couldn't believe the higher ranking warriors were this...relaxed? Siegfried couldn't think of the right word for this situation. In fact it didn't seem like Kaiserin is worried at all. Maybe he shouldn't either. He was getting a little nervous of the mission.
Kaiserin gave out her instructions "I want you all to patrol the area around here for a little, Ludwig and Siegfried will go check out the north western area while Walter and I will search the south-west. Umm...oh, don't release any Yoki. We will need it as a way to signal each other if there's a situation that cannot be handled safely alone, and later on we might need to use Yoki to signal each other should any of us find the targets." Siegfried nodded in understanding and lowered his yoki as far down as he could get it. Than turned to look at Ludwig, which proved to be a little difficult as he had missed thier introductions and didn't know who Ludwig was.
"Ahh, right. When you hear that the Decoy Team has started their mission, finish up any business you have, if any and make your way to the western gate as soon as possible." Siegfried caught this last bit from Kaiserin as he was looking for Ludwig. So keeping that in mind he began to mentally decide which of the two warriors before him was Ludwig.
"Alright Sieg' Lets go then." came the replay from one of the warriors. 'That must be Ludwig than.' thought Siegfried as he nodded in confirmation to Ludwig and his own mental comment. Seeing Ludwig motion for him to lead the way, Siegfried bowed a little at Ludwig and began to move in the direction of north-west.
"So sir Ludwig. Have you ever been on a mission like this before?" Siegfried asked after two seconds of silence. Siegfried turned to look at Ludwig.

.:Walter:.
There was still someone else he and his teammates had to wait for--Siegfried. Walter crossed his arms and waited patiently for the last of their Team members to appear, staying close to Ludwig and Kaiserin. Soon enough Walter felt a presence behind him, and turned around to face a large man that apologized for being late, and introduced himself as Siegfried. It gave Walter a good startle, and he almost couldn’t stop himself from jumping away in surprise, preventing himself from being rude. He’s…tall!
Walter quickly calmed down though, and took note of how Siegfried even said his second name. That too was odd to him. Still, he didn’t think too deeply about it. Perhaps some things were better left unasked. But that wasn’t the important thing right now to begin with. Well, now that we have everyone…he turned to Kaiserin, who began walking westward, and followed without a word. When they reached the western perimeter, Kaiserin gave a briefing of their duties.
Hmm, sounds easy enough, don’t release any yoki, keep the western perimeter secure when the Decoy Team begins their mission, and until then keep the outer perimeter secure. Not letting our guard down won’t be too hard either. Not that I expect yoma to appear here either, with so many of us they know it’d be a death wish. Ah well…better safe than sorry I guess. He looked at Kaiserin. She may be high-ranked, but…is it normal to be so easygoing about this mission? Perhaps it’s just to keep herself from being crushed by the stress, so maybe I should try to relax before this “storm” comes in too, but still…
He shook his head, for lately he’s made a bad habit of thinking too hard, and just left it at him over-thinking things as usual. Hearing Ludwig call Siegfried over, and seeing Siegfried walk over to Ludwig and leading the way, Walter figured it was time for him and Kaiserin to make their way over to the area to patrol also. He looked over to Kaiserin and called over to her after taking a few steps towards the southwest. “Well, let’s be on our way too.” He quickly recalled how she nearly lost direction, and then added, “I can lead the way if you want.”

Kaiserin
Kaiserin was content with the orders she had given. She replayed the words in her head a couple of times quickly trying to make sure she didn't forget anything important. Ludwig and Siegfried were ready to move north-west, while Walter offered to lead the patrol in the south-west.
Her harem was down from three to one, but this didn't matter much, as one pretty boy was better than none. She placed her hands on her hips and leaned her body slightly to the left, with a smile on her face she spoke.
"By all means, lead on. I guess it would be smart considering I nearly got lost--err, never mind." Kaiserin said with a gleeful and slightly embarrassed tone, not wanting to give away what everyone already knew. Directions were hard, she often wondered how people were able to tell what direction they were going in so easily. She held back and let Walter walk on in front.
OOC: I'll wait for Nope to post before moving on with Siegfried and Lugwig's part. Another GM will set the next part for Kaiserin and Walter.

.:Ludwig:.
Ludwig Saw that siegfried nodded, then took the lead like he suggested. They started walking but after only a few moments of silence sieg looked at him and asked wether he had been on a mission like this before. Ludwig wondered if he meant a large scale mission or any mission in general, it didn't really matter though "I cant say i have" he replied looking back at him.
They continued walking northwest, Ludwig scanned the landscape. He didn't think he would see anything special but just in case.
OOC: Sorry for shortness -_-

[Ludwig and Siegfried - Encounter: Guards]
As Ludwig and Siegfried walked towards a dark and ominous forest area, leaves danced as the wind carried the voices of two people in the distance.
"This detail sucks. Who the hell are we looking for?" The first distinct voice said, it was deep and quite raspy.
"Someone reported a body around here. So they pulled straws for who gets to take the hit." The second distinct voice said, light but quite monotone.
"So, do we have a suspect?" The first asked.
"Nope." The second replied.
"Did someone SEE the act?"
"Yep."
"Well? What did they say the killer looked like?"
"A man."
"Fantastic... With all these pilgrims around it's no wonder crime is so rampant." The first said with a heavy sigh.
The two guards started to emerge from the depths of the dark forest, but before they were in the clearing on the straight to Igros, the first saw a couple of strange figures.
"Hey, Prez? You see that?" The first questioned.
"Looks like...two men, Rondo." Prez stated.
"Suspicious men, no doubt."
"No doubt."
Rondo and Prez stalked closer to the two men strolling along, after getting within shouting distance Rondo shouted "Hey, you there! Halt!"

[Kaiserin and Walter - Encounter: Watch Tower]
In the distance as Kaiserin and Walter walked on, there stood an enormous, erect figure. Protruding out of the forest. 4 Guards, armed with bows and steel-tipped arrows, were messing around at the top, not keeping a good look out at all.
"Hey Joshua, what time do we get off?" One of the tower watchmen asked.
"Not sure Max, I think day break?" Joshua replied.
"Hey maaaan, pass us that flask would'cha?" A drunken watchman asked.
"I ain't finished wit' it yet..." The other drunken watchman spat back.
A little later merry, drunken laughter could be heard coming from the tower. Some of it loud enough to startle sleeping birds into flight. Kaiserin and Walter stopped their patrol as soon as they heard the laughter and looked towards the giant erect structure. A few words ran through Kaiserin's mind, but she couldn't pick a good one to describe what she saw.
Tower would have sufficed.
OOC: SB, your post (pertinent or not) will move our section along.

:.Ludwig.:
Ludwig saw to men appear from the woods who then shouted at them "Hey, you there! Halt!"
"patrols, makes sense i guess..." He said turning to siegfried. "They've already spotted us so watever we do will end up being suspicious. Lets just meet them, maybe we can trick them or something." not much of a threat, if it gets out of hand we can just run. he stopped
"do you agree or.. what do you think we should do?" he questioned looking back at the two men. He waved slightly to appear friendly.
SilentBuddhist - March 5, 2008 01:40 AM (GMT)
.:Walter:.
Walter and Kaiserin walked over to the area, where a tower stood tall and erect, standing out amongst the trees in the forest. When the two got there, it didn’t take too long for some noise to break the silence in the forest, sometimes it got loud enough to scare the animals away. Walter and Kaiserin looked up in the direction the noise had come from, the tower. The laughter garbled up any speech the voices made, making it impossible to interpret what they were saying, but from Walter could make out, they probably weren’t the voices of a demon or some other creature, much less the two renegades he and everyone else were sent to kill.
Walter looked up at the sky, and noted how the clouds kept darkening along with the sky. I wonder if it’s gonna rain more heavily tonight. The thought was cut short by yet another burst of laughter from the people above the tower, and Walter noted how they were probably drinking or were drunk. “Well they seem to be enjoying themselves.” he sighed, slightly annoyed by their noise. He looked up again at the darkening sky. “Ah well...if it rains harder tonight maybe they’ll quiet down.”
Bluedragon77 - March 5, 2008 03:51 AM (GMT)
.:Siegfried:.
Siegfried spotted two men come out of the woods as they yelled out their greeting "Hey, you there! Halt!" At their greeting both Ludwig and Siegfried halted.
"They've already spotted us so watever we do will end up being suspicious. Lets just meet them, maybe we can trick them or something." Ludwig suggested to Siegfried who was thinking about the situation. "do you agree or.. what do you think we should do?" was the question presented to Siegfried.
"I don't see the harm in meeting them. I guess we should go with your plan than. If it gets out of hand we just knock them out. It might be a problem if they report us. Let's try to lead them away from this area. It would be best they don't get in the way when we engage the 'targets'. Sound good to you?" Siegfried spoke low enough for Ludwig to hear. Turning to the men Siegfried smiled and waved at the men letting them now they heard them.

',;Ludwig;,'
"Alright, so were both agreed then." Ludwig said "lets just walk up and try to seem non-threatening" He took a quick glance at siegfrieds stature "will this work.."
Ludwig observed the guards through the storm and then started walking up to them trying to look friendly. He didn't look to see wether siegfried was behind him, instead he just looked casually forward eyeing the patrolmen up and down. "this isn't so tough, but i guess the hard parts coming up."
Elcura - March 5, 2008 02:18 PM (GMT)
[Ludwig, Siegfried, Rondo and Prez]
Siegfried and Ludwig in an attempt to meet the patrolmen up front walked slowly towards them. Rondo and Prez couldn't see the strong outline of the pauldrons they wore so the men stood on guard until they could confirm their targets.
"Oh hell! Prez, they're Claymores." Rondo shouted, as if Prez couldn't already see that.
"Let's go, we have to report this." Prez stated, not showing the alarm in his voice.
"Go in, south!"
"Roger." And with that exchange, the two guards retreated into the forest, heading due south.
Ludwig and Siegfried were caught off guard, as they watched for a couple of second the figures of the two guards running into the distance.

Kaiserin
Kaiserin stood with her arms crossed and head tilted while examining the strange structure. Something so simple and obviously not a big deal gave her endless enjoyment, like a kid playing with a stick. Eventually Walter snapped her out of her stupor and reminded her they were there to work. He observed them and noted, “Ah well...if it rains harder tonight maybe they’ll quiet down.”
"Hmm, remember it's our job to secure the western perimeter Walter. If we leave those drunken guards in that thing who knows what will happen to them later on. What if they get in the way while we're engaged with the target? If we have to worry about them as well as ourselves we'll be in trouble." Kaiserin said, serious as can be. She walked ahead of Walter, turning her body slightly towards him with her head pivoting rightly so looking back at him.
"Let's go there and really secure the area, we leave nothing to chance. We should knock them out and cover their bodies with smelly things to hide their scent." Kaiserin said. She knew a few things about how Yoma tracked their prey (remembering vaguely her past). She had learned from Arngrim the few times they had the pleasure of meeting the ways of a hunter. Just the basics so far, but the most basic of things to learn was how to cover your tracks and presence. "They won't be much of a hassle to knock out, when we get there I want you to go up there and do it. I'll head into the forest and find something to cover up their smell." Kaiserin concluded.
"Come on Walter, let's go," Kaiserin said, beckoning Walter to follow "you never know, maybe they'll have something nice up there to drink."
Kaiserin's seriousness had faded away and she returned to her usual self. She wondered what kind of smelly plant she could find. Arngrim had told her that the fastest way to effectively cover your scent was to find a Carrion Plant. He said it smelt like dead animal flesh, a smell which Kaiserin loved (and made her hungry). Yoma often looked for live humans, not favouring ones that had been dead for a while already. They also didn't eat animals; so the smell of a dead one would be the last thing on their minds. She looked forward to it, for her nose was more attuned to finding the scent of dead flesh (animal or not) than her more human counterpart.
"Rafflesia... I should pick up extra."
OOC: Kai and Walter's part moves on when SB posts, Ludwig and Seigfried's part is ready to move on.

.:Walter:.
"They won't be much of a hassle to knock out, when we get there I want you to go up there and do it. I'll head into the forest and find something to cover up their smell. Come on Walter, let's go," Kaiserin called over to Walter, "you never know, maybe they'll have something nice up there to drink."
Walter scratched his head, nearly raising an eyebrow after giving the speech she did. But, she did have a point. The rule to never kill humans was enforced with an iron fist, and if violated was punishable by death. If they got in the way and were accidentally killed by him and anyone else, that would be major trouble. But still, she seemed to have a cheery way of explaining how to deal with them, so he simply did what he could to try and go with the flow. “Well I’ll be making my way over then.” Walter replied positively. “By the time you get what you need, they’ll all be out cold.” he said.
As Kaiserin walked into the forest to find something to cover up their scent, Walter searched the tower to find an entrance of any sort, and when he found it he walked inside, walking his way up the stairs within to reach the top. By the time he got to the top, he stopped short, messing with his hair so that it covered his eyes partially, and even went to the extent of squinting a little, so his eyelids covered his irises as well. Anything to keep his silver eyes from giving himself away. I’ll just trick them into thinking I’m some guy who wants to drink with them. If they comply then while one gives me the bottle, I’ll knock him out while pretending to take the flask, and knock the rest out. Even if they don’t comply, I’ll still knock ‘em out. They’re drunk, so it won’t be too hard, and with my eyes covered they won’t know what I am. Walter thought.
After he was satisfied with how his eyes were covered, he made his way to the top, seeing the four guards still drunk and merry, and when they noticed Walter walk up calmly, he imitated their merry mood as best he could. “Heeeeeeyyyy guys,” Walter said, making his tone casual, “they didn’t have anythin’ interesting at the bar. So I’m bored, with nothin’ to drink’r amuse myself wit. Y’all don’t mind sharin’ a flask or two, do ya?” Hope I’m not sounding too casual, if I have to knock them out the other way, it could cause a ruckus…we don’t need that.

[Walter and the guards]
Walter climbed up carefully and silently, stopping mid-way to adjust his appearance. When he reached the top he put on his casual drunk man act and asked for a drink.
"Oh-- Shit!" One of the sober guards replied.
"What's a Claymore doing here (and drunk, no less)?" The other sober guard replied.
The two guards looked at each other simultaneously and scrambled to pick up their bows, kicking around the quiver of arrows that had been placed carelessly on the floor. While this was going on, the more incapable guard actually handed Walter a flask of alcohol. Which Walter thanked him by punching him in the face, knocking him out cold. The second drunk was busy leaning over the edge of the tower, throwing up violently.
Joshua and Max managed to arm themselves while Walter punched out the first drunk, they took aim and prepared to fire...

Kaiserin
"He's confident at least"
He would have to be, as anyone else would be when it comes to dealing with Humans. Kaiserin and Walter had split up at the base of the tower, the wind picked up in speed but the rain had all but stopped. Walter climbed up the tower and Kaiserin went ahead deeper into the forest. She turned back to look at Walter, noticing he had stopped half way and was messing with his hair.
"Awww, he's adorable. He still has his armour on..." Kaiserin giggled and walked on. The trees in this forest were not clustered together, in fact the gathering of trees much reminded her of how warriors act when they gather together. Each with it's own space and nothing close enough to get in. There were wooden logs on the floor, a few rocks scattered around by many shrubs and bushes. Kaiserin got on her knees and crawled around the floor with her nose leading, sniffing in deeply to catch the scent of death.
Her nose twitched as she picked up a scent so sweet yet so foul and she raced over to the source. Hoping to find flower or better - a dead body (human or animal).

.:Siegfried:.
"Oh hell! Prez, they're Claymores."
"Let's go, we have to report this."
"Go in, south!"
"Roger."
Siegfried took a moment to look at Ludwig, than he turned back to the retreating men running away. "That went well. Come on it seems we have no other alternatives than to knock those two out before they warn others. Well Sir Ludwig, shall we?" Siegfried gave a small smile at Ludwig.
Siegfried turned around to face the men again and in an instant dashed off after the two. Siegfried noted the poor visibility due to the storm, so more than likely they won't be able to move as fast as they have to navigate through the forest with poor visibility. This also meant that it is not very likely anyone will be able to see him knock them out and cart them off to somewhere else. With that plan in mind Siegfried ran a little bit faster.
Nope - March 6, 2008 08:39 PM (GMT)
ludwig nodded at siegfried and ran to catch up and knock out one of the men, sieg seemed to be doing the same. It was no trouble to catch up with the men for him despite the low visibility from the storm, he figured that might even work to his advantage.
As soon as one of the men was in range, with his left hand he attempted to hit the man on the lower back part of his head to knock him out and trying hard not to use as much that would kill him.
SilentBuddhist - March 6, 2008 10:49 PM (GMT)
.:Walter:.
Damn, I thought they’d all be drunk…boy was I wrong…
Walter beat the living daylights out of the first drunk with a single punch, and hardly put all his strength into it. But now, there were two guards that were fully aware of his presence and saw Walter as a threat. They readied their bows and prepared to fire their arrows at Walter as soon as he acknowledged that the first drunk was down for the count.
Walter quickly saw this, and noted the second drunk that was now vomiting at the edge of the tower, leaning down and his face away from view. That man was no threat to Walter, and decided to leave him alone for now. Just gotta deal with you guys then…Walter thought, his attention directed at the two armed guards.
With his back towards the guards, Walter thrust his feet against the ground, ultimately running backwards towards the men, and fast. Walter quickly got behind the men, and immediately grabbed both their heads on their sides, and exerting a little bit of strength from his arms, no yoki being released, he began to try and force the heads of the two guards to collide with one another in an attempt to knock them both out from minor head trauma…

[Rondo and Prez]
Rondo and Prez dashed through the forest with great skill and grace, it was like they knew where every leaf was, every stick and every stone. Weaving in and out of the trees as they ran south.
"Now Prez!" Rondo shouted.
And as soon as Rondo did, Prez spun around and lifted 3 needles from a pouch on the small of his back and threw his arm up vertically, releasing each needle at exactly the right time. The first headed towards Ludwig's lower leg, the second aimed for his abdomen and the third aimed for his neck. The needles slide from Prez's hand and cut through the air on the way to their targets.
"Complete." Prez said
And as he did, Rondo ripped the pouch from the small of his back and threw it on the ground ahead of him, jumping over the bag as a whole bunch of crude yet smooth pebbles flew from the bag. It was obvious they were experienced escapists.
OOC: Lud and Sieg, the post quality of your reactions will determine the result (the more detail the better).
-----
[Max and Joshua] - OOC: careful, you're getting close to the god modding region with the 'grabbing their head' bit. Remember nothing is definite when it doesn't involve your character's action. You kinda redeemed yourself with the end part, so I won't say nothing more on it.
After Walter knocked out the first guard he went after Max and Joshua. Max was an experienced marksman, and quickly armed himself and managed to fire a shot off, but at this range and considering the circumstances he didn't have enough time to aim, so he released the arrow from it's cage as soon as he got Walter in sight. The arrow flew towards Walter, stabbing him in the thigh. This did little to stop Walter's advance as he dashed behind them and grabbed their heads attempting to smash them together.
"Shi--!" Joshua cried as Max and his own head were being guided to each other. Joshua had good defensive reactions and since he was trying to aim his bow at Walter, already had his arm parallel to his body. As their heads bore closer to each other Joshua instinctively raised his hand to Max's face and parried his head away from Walter's body while the force of the parry sent him barging into to Walter.
Walter lost his grip on Joshua and Max. Each guard (including the drunk, who was still vomiting unaware of the situation) was now in a different corner. Max and Joshua with their eyes on Walter.
"FUCK ME! That was close..." Joshua exclaimed vibrantly. Both of the guards had dropped their weapon in the scuffle, but during the exchange Joshua somehow ripped the softwood part of the shaft on the arrow off. Leaving the head and spine embedded in Walter's leg, which was bleeding pretty profusely.
-----
Kaiserin
Rafflesia, plenty of them in a small circle in the forest which could almost be likened to a small field. Trees all around this field of foul smelling flower, there was a large gap between the nearest tree to the rafflesia, almost like the trees themselves were avoiding them.
Kaiserin walked towards the circle of flowers and bent over to pick the closest one. Bringing it to her nose she sniffed in deeply, the spores of the flower getting sucked in like a blackhole.
"Wonderful."
Kaiserin continued to pick flowers, gently at first but finding her hand slid up the shaft only to rip the petals off she decided to be more forceful, lifting them up from the root (managing to keep some fully intact). She stuffed the roots all around her corslet, creating a ring of rafflesia. The smell was overwhelming, but like a kid sniffing paint thinner, she couldn't get enough of it.
Walking leisurely back towards the tower Walter was in, a weird sensation hit her. From the tips of her toes right to the top of her head there was a feeling of urgency. Something like this she was all to familiar with. It was like that time, only less dreadful. It was like that person. But it wasn't her, it was someone else.
"Hmph. Things are going to get hectic soon. Better hurry back."
SilentBuddhist - March 8, 2008 06:19 AM (GMT)
Hmm, they’re more troublesome than I thought…
Walter stood before the two guards, his thigh bleeding rather badly after being shot by an arrow from Max. Both of the guards stood on different corners now, as they had managed to avoid having their heads collide. Chances were now the same trick wouldn’t work twice, so Walter needed a new plan. But at least now both men were disarmed after the scuffle, dropping their weapons after Walter had made an unsuccessful attempt to knock them both out. But at least for now, no new arrows would burrow into his thighs.
That one is the noisier of the two…Walter thought, referring to Joshua but looking at no one in particular. With all his yelling it could attract others over here…maybe. I don’t want to take any chances though. Ignoring the pain in his thigh Walter dashed immediately at Joshua, keeping himself low to the ground. Walter swiftly put his left arm in front of his face to block whatever attack Joshua would have, probably a kick to the face or something else, and would be ready to push away whatever came at him. At the same time he pivoted his right arm back, his elbow bent and ready to send a punch to Joshua’s abdomen, when he managed to get close enough. When Walter did feel close enough, perhaps having a 4 and a half feet gap between himself and Joshua, Walter prepared to jab straight into Joshua’s stomach, his arm starting to unbend and his fist ready to dart to where he aimed…
If my punch lands, I’ll use my left hand to throw this guy back to the center of the area. That way I don’t risk him falling to his death…
Elcura - March 8, 2008 02:46 PM (GMT)
[1 down, 3 to go] - OOC: I forgot to mention which leg was injured, it was the left.
Pain shot up Walter's leg as he ran towards Joshua, his steps were heavy as each time he lifted his injured leg it felt like a dead weight. Covering his face and preparing a punch to Joshua's stomach Walter advanced liked a juggernaut. Joshua panicked and threw the flask of alcohol at Walter's face which hit his arm but popped off the cap on the flask, spilling a strange smelling liquid all over Walter.
"Josh--!" Max yelled as Joshua took a great blow to the stomach, forcing spit to spray involuntarily from his mouth as he bent over with the force of the punch. Eyes wide and falling to his knees, everything went black for Joshua as he collapsed on the ground. Before he could reach it though, Walter grabbed him and threw him towards the middle of the tower, making his body roll weirdly with his arms flailing about.
"Wait, wait!" Max shouted, "Why are you doing this?! Isn't there some kind of law preventing you guys from hurting us!?"
Beads of sweat dripped from Max's forehead, rolling along his check and dripping off his chin.
"Listen, I have money, I have uhh-- alcohol, hell I can even get you women. Or, if you prefer; men...?" Max said, laughing nervously. During his negotiation, the drunk who was vomiting out the side of the tower fell flat on his back and started snoring heavily, traces of vomit hung from his chin and a few blobs were dripping down his front.
"Oh, Goddesses of Igros - damn it!" Max cried, the only guard in the tower still left conscious.

[Danger]
It was approaching, swiftly and surely closer. Kaiserin looked back, as if she would see anything. Her sight might have failed her, for in this forest - no matter how good your eyes were it was useless if you couldn't see through trees. Wanting to regroup with her harem and prepare, Kaiserin went from a leisurely walk to a full blown sprint.
OOC: Ludwig and Sieg, you guys need to post to move the general flow along, SB you need to post and finish up the encounter.
Nyskrte - March 8, 2008 04:16 PM (GMT)
The danger Kaiserin could only sense all around her came from above, to be more precise, it was bounding from tree branch to tree branch behind her with great enthusiasm and gradually catching up. The darkness and foliage brought back memories to when this threat participated in the mass trainee culling, although admittedly it had been forced upon it as a message that they would find it wherever it tried to make any kind of permanent residence.
'What a strange one this is.'
It was Nyskrte, by sheer fluke she'd happened across this one after taking her fill from a neighboring village. A chance had now arisen to perhaps have some real fun, it had been almost a year since she'd last come across a Claymore separated from a pack and even then there were interruptions before anything came of it. The sprinting woman below was perfumed so heavily with the bittersweet smell of death, even if she'd attempted to allude the awakened one with a swift change in direction it could simply follow its nose.
'Now!
Pushing off against one last tree branch, she threw herself silently in a flying tackle aimed ahead of Kaiserin, roughly estimating the amount of time it would take for her to travel from her lofty heights down to the victim below.
Elcura - March 8, 2008 04:50 PM (GMT)
Kaiserin
There was a feeling of excitement, a feeling Kaiserin could not explain.
“Yoki…from behind me…? No…above? Damn, where is it exactly?”
Kaiserin was not the most adept at sensing Yoki, her mind tended to wonder and with her lively metabolism she often found it hard to concentrate. Yet, this only served to excite her, her body trembled with anticipation much like the first few true missions she went on.
Something this intense must be met with caution; Kaiserin raised her right hand to the handle of her claymore and lifted it from its sheath. After that she lowered her sword so it ran close to the ground, scraping some of the rocks and small bushes that protruded from the floor.
“It’s definitely above me now”
Kaiserin looked up, yet her eyes still failed her when out of the blue a flash of black ran across her eyes. At this moment her right foot was leading, she took another step and when her left foot touched the ground she dug her heel into the floor and forcing all her weight (which wasn’t a lot) into it, pushed backwards leaping through the air.
Her body arched over and her hands landed on the ground first, using them to support her body she managed to follow through until her legs reached the floor where somehow, despite an impressive start and follow-through – she managed to mess up her footing and slid across the floor landing on her ass. Not such an impressive end.
Unlike other times in her life, she managed to keep a grip on her claymore the entire time (usually it would slip out of her hands) and she scrambled up entering a basic fighting stance, with her claymore out in front of her with both hands gripping the handle firmly. She surveyed the creature that was in front of her.
“Hey, some warning would have been nice.” Kaiserin pouted, wiping the dirt of her ass before re-placing her hand.
Nyskrte - March 8, 2008 05:25 PM (GMT)
With Kaiserin no longer within reach to cushion her fall, the ambusher face planted with a metallic clunk into the grass. Looking across to where her target had ended up whilst rearranging her half-helmet that was loosened by the impact, it seemed they'd both come out with equally embarrassing results. Chuckling at their misfortunes as she lackadaisically lifted herself off the floor, she responded to the woman who was already prepared for combat by raising both her hands in a shrug.
"If you'd stopped, you wouldn't be a Claymore."
Holstered on Nyskrte's back was a blade with a hilt as equally as black as her attire lying against a large shield which peeked out behind either side of her chest, the tall burgundy-haired woman held her hands raised calmly in place, strategically giving her time enough to arm herself if it became necessary.
"I should know better than any, that you are trained to ignore my words."
Her pale cheeks glistened in what little light reached under the canopy of the forest, on account of trapped droplets of water that had brushed against them when she collided with the earth moments ago. A minute smile had formed after witnessing Kaiserin's pout.
Elcura - March 8, 2008 05:58 PM (GMT)
Kaiserin
The creature in front of her appeared to be a woman. A tall woman no less. It seemed everyone else was taller than she was; a growth spurt wasn’t a lot to ask for was it? Kaiserin shook her head at that though, sighing deeply then breathing in the smell of the rafflesia. As the light pierced the canopy of leaves a strange pattern was projected onto the floor, swaying softly with the breeze and reflecting off the shiny surfaces of her armour, making them glow a little.
“Ahh, yeah I think they said something about that. I don’t remember exactly…what was it again?” Kaiserin responded, genuinely unsure of what the Organisation had said about Awakened Beings. The only thing she knew is that she generally had to kill them. But who said they couldn’t have tea first?
Probably a lot of people.
But here they were, Kaiserin took comfort in the fact that if this being was here then she wasn’t anywhere else. The woman was readying herself for an attack, Kaiserin was as well, but wanting to test the waters a little she wondered she could get a name.
“So, here we are,” Kaiserin said pacing backwards slowly, “do you have a name by any chance, or a rank? Err, pre-rank. Or ex-rank? Something like that. Be a shame for either one of us to die to the other without knowing at least that.”
If she could get a rank, she could get an estimation of strength. Not an accurate one by any means for an Awakened Being was stronger than a warrior of the same rank, but they didn’t exactly grow in strength like warriors do. In the first place getting a conversation out of an Awakened Being was hard, but Kaiserin felt that – with what the woman had said earlier that a chance so slow down this encounter was possible. But slow it down for whom to help? She was alone and definitely didn’t want to put her harem in danger.
Kaiserin released the grip on the handle of her weapon with her left hand and turned her body slightly to the left so her sword arm was facing the woman. Ready to parry if need be. All is small controlled motions, nothing sudden.
"Just like all those other times you faced danger like this. But you're a different person now, a stronger person. Survival is possible. Might as well have fun."
Nyskrte - March 8, 2008 06:56 PM (GMT)
"Haaaaaa?!"
Tilting her head to one side, Nyskrte was taken back when the woman didn't springboard towards her like an unopinionated drone and actually responded with a constructed response instead of sword strikes. When Kaiserin took a few steps backwards, the demoness folded her arms in a defensive manner; apprehensive at how differently this one was acting. It was a nice change to the usual chain of events, but she wasn't about to let her guard down just yet.
"Name's Nyskrte, I was the sixteenth... But that was a long, long time ago."
Her words towards the end of the sentence dragged out in meaningfully dull monotone. How long ago that was exactly was Nyskrte's dirty little secret, as a mature woman's age is always a sacred number that they and those select few that they can confide in, know the true value of. She could easily be twice, if not thrice times as old as Kaiserin or even more, but she'd not get it from her no matter how politely she asked.
'Why do I get a feeling of familiarity from this one...'
Moving her head back to its upright position, she reared her head forwards slightly, as if having trouble looking upon Kaiserin clearly through her small openings in her helm.
"And your name is?"
Elcura - March 8, 2008 07:31 PM (GMT)
Kaiserin
"Nass-car-tee? Ness-cur-tea?" Kaiserin struggled to pronounce Nyskrte's name. But ultimately, the woman was engaged - even intrigued. Kaiserin loosened up a little, relaxing her body. If anything this was preparation for quick movements should Nyskrte attack. But it didn't look that way.
"In anycase, former number 16 huh? That's impressive. It's pretty hard to get that high. You must be pretty old." Kaiserin said, almost forgetting to introduce herself.
"Oh right--I'm Kaiserin, rank 21." She said with a smile on her face. "Nice to meet you, I think. Well, it might be nice, depending on how it ends." She continued, laughing at the end still with a bright smile on her face.
Kaiserin noted Nyskrte's strange head movements, it was almost like she was sizing her up. Judging whether Kaiserin was a good enough thing to play with.
"I have to be careful, but I still have a mission to complete. I can't get distracted here..."
Kaiserin looked up, scanning the area around Nyskrte's body. With her free hand she picked a rafflesia from her corslet and brought it to her nose, breathing in deep.
"So umm... What are you doing here?" Kaiserin asked looking for answers, "It would be great if you were just passing by you know? Around the uhh south-- or is it north? No...That Person is north, south perimeter. You could avoid any trouble since it's the last thing I-- err, we need."
With a flick of her hand, Kaiserin threw the rafflesia she had been sniffing and to join that motion, she snapped her head in that direction for added emphasis. This woman could still prove to be troublesome. Kaiserin hated troublesome, but after sampling more of that wonderful scent Kaiserin was totally relaxed. This was evident by the strange look on her face.

.:Walter:.
Walter put his weight to his right leg, after the rush he made to knock out Joshua. Tch, at least he’s out…Walter thought. Now all that was left was a panicking Max, who began to try and negotiate with Walter. During his babbling both Max and Walter saw the second drunk fall to the ground, knocked out from his own alcohol and some vomit on his chin. Three down and one to go. Walter looked again at his left leg which was still bleeding profusely, and looked up at Max. “If I could explain, I would have done it before any of this started, believe me. No hard feelings, but for yours and everyone else’s sake I need you out cold.”
Not waiting to hear an answer from the guard, Walter dove to the ground and toward Max, rolling towards him as a way to keep from using his left leg to charge at the man like he did with Joshua. Walter managed to stop when his feet touched the floor again, and he closed the distance gap between himself and Max by 3 feet. Raising his left hand again as a way to be ready to block whatever would come at him again, and bending back his right, ready to jab into the guard’s stomach like last time, Walter was bent down low to the ground, pain shooting up his left leg like before but not as badly, since he hadn’t used his left leg to get closer to the guard. Walter now began to thrust his fist into Max’s stomach, hoping to finally knock out the men and get on with the mission.
Nyskrte - March 8, 2008 08:34 PM (GMT)
Nyskrte
"You must be pretty old."
Her hands balled up ever so slightly, teeth clacking audibly together in a single action.
'What was that? I dare you to say that again. I double fucking dare you.'
"You enjoy the fragrance of the rafflesia flower too, Kaiserin? How strange."
Nyskrte reached around and pulled freed her sword from its restraints, holding it meekly in both hands with its shining tip marking the ground below. She grinned darkly to match the power of the Claymore's smile, it was one of false innocence. In some ways, one reminded her of herself before she broke rank and deserted.
"I just had my fill from a nearby village and was back on my travels, until I caught sight of you. Admittedly it was somewhat impossible for me to pass up on something so youthfully beautiful, if it makes you feel any better..."
Her voice had become husky and predatory, the smell of death was probably having the opposing effect to the demoness. Rather than relaxing her it could have been giving her an aphrodisiacal effect. Lifting her decorative visor with one hand, it became obvious to Kaiserin that she was being felt up and measured with callous, emerald eyes filled with intent.

[Max and Walter]
"No, no wait I--" Max was cut off by Walter's fist. He slumped over Walter's body, struggling to stay conscious.
"In that case..."
Max used all his strength to move his hand, he lifted it up and then with all his energy brought it down onto Walter's shoulder, only a few inches away from his neck. Then everything went black. Blood ran down Walter's chest, he had been pierced next to his right shoulder, close to his neck by an arrow head Max had secretly held in his hand.
Max slumped down on the ground face first. Joshua was on his side (cutting off the blood to his left arm). The first drunk was leaning against the wall of the tower, drool running down his mouth and the second drunk was snoring heavily on his back. Probably about to vomit again.

Kaiserin
Kaiserin noticed how riled up Nyskrte got when she mentioned age. She didn't make a big thing of it though, and let it go easily enough. Kaiserin responded to her query, "Yeah, I like the smell. It's sweet and tasty." Immediately Kaiserin thought to herself "So she knows the Rafflesia...? Even if I run she can track me down like that. It wouldn't be hard...especially if I can do it.
Kaiserin stepped back a few more times, while keeping her eyes fixed on Nyskrte, who was drawing her weapon and grinning darkly.
"Great! She's got her ... thing? Out. I certainly don't want to be on the end of that. All sorts of perverted things could happen." Kaiserin thought and sighed.
Kaiserin tensed up, the usually smooth form of her muscled shaping themselves into something harder. Yet, no matter what her body did, Kaiserin never stopped grinning like an idiot from ear to ear. Nyskrte spoke again, to which Kaiserin responded:
"How sweet of you, I certainly am a charmer. Famous for it actually! The prettiest warrior in all the Organisation. I even have my own harem. You have good taste." She laughed. The look on her face betraying her true feelings.
Nyskrte eyed Kaiserin lustfully, it was in such a weird manner that Kaiserin couldn't keep eye contact with her.
"Well Ness-kurt-ee," Kaiserin said drawing out the last syllable, "It was certainly a heart-warming, or wrenching conversation. But if you don't mind, I have a harem to look after. See-ya!"
Kaiserin then dashed to her left towards a near-by tree, pushing down on her legs she jumped a good distance up towards the closest branch and hooked onto it, swinging her body around so she landed skillfully onto the branch in a crouched position. From that she bolted forward, hopefully passing above Nyskrte's head. Should the woman try to attack from below, Kaiserin was prepared with her sword in hand to parry any strikes or grapples.
"Come on!"

.::..:Ludwig:..::.
Ludwig chased the two through the forrest, they seemed to know the area pretty well. Sudenly he saw 3 knives flying towards various parts of his body, from a quick glimps it appeared to him that the projectiles lined up verticaly as they flew towards him. He threw his weight to his right and stepped forward diagonally so as to avoid the path the needles seemed to be taking and keep up the chase.
The ground seemed like an annoying place to be since he didn't know the area, if his dodge were to be successful he would use the tree branches to close the gap between him and the patrols.
Nyskrte - March 9, 2008 06:33 AM (GMT)
Nyskrte
"It was certainly a heart-warming, or wrenching conversation. But if you don't mind, I-"
Nyskrte broke into a deep, intruding laugh before Kaiserin could finish, all too aware of Kaiserin's intentions while preparing herself physically to intercept. Now obstructing the direction the woman had been travelling in before with her intimidating frame, it was highly unlikely that she'd simply try to run past.
"You'll not escape me."
As she vaulted onto the tree, the Awakened Being made haste on the ground to keep her in view. Unhooking the large shield that had until this time remained a fleeting afterthought in the dark, she put spin into a throw, angling its round blunt form upwards towards the fleeing beauty. The plan being to putting her prey off balance and plummeting to the earth like she'd had earlier when attempting a tackle. Nyskrte had a good idea as to the real reason why the Kaiserin was running, she was probably shaken by the fact that that sinless facade of hers was being broken down with naught but mere words and gestures.
'I wonder how long she will remain that way in my company.'
If the plan succeeded, Nyskrte would be upon her before she even hit the ground, limbs expertly entwining and constricting her movements like a vicious lover. If not, she would keep pursuit for a few seconds before making a leaping grab for one Kaiserin's ankles, with the intent to pull her down with combined body weight and gravity aiding the cause.

[Kaiserin & Nyskrte]
Noting Nyskrte movements while she was running atop on the tree branches, she noticed Nyskrte removing her "weapon" and soon enough a shield spun towards Kaiserin's direction. *A hit* Kaiserin deflected the large shield for it is hard to miss; the shield flew and smashed into a thick trunk. However, Kaiserin's momentum was broken for a moment for she needed a large amount of force to change the direction of the spinning shield. Nyskrte leaped moments after Kaiserin deflected the shield...and Kaiserin was pulled to the ground; Nyskrte got Kaiserin's right ankle.
Nyskrte - March 9, 2008 08:18 PM (GMT)
Nyskrte
Alarmed at her success of cutting the chase so short, she hit the ground rolling with Kaiserin in tow, the impact had once again dislodged her half-helm. But this time around it was sent spiraling into a nearby shrub, exposing those green orbs filled with the basest of desires. In the resulting confusion, she released her hold of the woman's ankle and begun wrestling in the connected tumble for an advantage over the Claymore, it would be much easier for Nyskrte to subdue her prey from behind.
"Are you afraid?"
Immobilization was something that this Awakened Being had shown an instinctive knack for many times before, this situation, despite the abnormal reasons for it, would be no different. If this one was fast enough on ground to guard her back, she would instead attempt to pin the woman's arms and straddle her lower chest with locked thighs to prevent Kaiserin from wriggling free. On the other hand, if she was either slow or addled from the collision, she'd pass a hand under the woman's sword arm and secure it firmly against the back of her head before pushing her down on her knees.
'Mustn't give her space in which to use that sword!'

Kaiserin
"What's that?!"
Kaiserin noted a large shield like object flying at tremendous speed towards her, with her sword arm she pointed the tip of the sword at the flying projectile and while keeping the tip of the sword roughly in the same place, lifted her hand up so the sword sloped above her head. When it hit she lifted the entire blade upwards, coaxing the shield to move with her sword. The shield flew above Kaiserin's head but the parry itself slowed her down greatly and Nyskrte managed to grab her ankle.
"Damn it!" Kaiserin shouted as she tumbled towards the earth with Nyskrte in tow. Kaiserin tested her strength against Nyskrte. it was obvious that this woman had the advantage in strength, but Kaiserin was small and quite nimble. The only way she was going to escape Nyskrte's clutches was to twist her wrists and body while pulling and pushing her limbs free. All the squirming would make her harder to latch onto, and should she manage to grapple her, it would at least help Kaiserin get free.
Getting hurt was the least of Kaiserin's worries, if there was one thing she was good at it was regeneration. If she pulled hard enough against her arms she might dislocate it or even rip it off completely, loosening whatever grip Nyskrte could get. Kaiserin clenched her fists and opened them up again, trying to see if she could get her palm onto any part of Nyskrte so she could Drain her and get free easier. All the while trying to flip herself around to face Nyskrte
"Are you afraid?" Kaiserin thought she heard Nyskrte say.
"Not even close!" Kaiserin responded anyway.
Her grip tightened even more on her claymore, if she were to let it go (which she was prone to do) then Nyskrte would have her way even easier. Kaiserin couldn't do much with her sword at this range (and with her experience), due to how much she was moving, but at the very least she could keep a grip on it.

.:Siegfried:.
Siegfried watched the men set their little trap up to slow them down. The small pellets shot forth toward both Ludwig and Siegfried. Siegfried guessed the pellets were meant to stun them.
Recalling his earlier orders from Kaiserin to keep their yoki to a low suppressed level, Siegfried used a very miniscule amount to perform 'Steel Body'. The amount used was enough to gaurd against small knifes and needles. As the technique wasn't enough to reduce his speed he steered himself in front of Ludwig to take the hit head on.
"I'll block the pellet like projectiles, take this chance sir Ludwig to get them!" ordered Siegfried.

[Ludwig, Siegfried, Rondo and Prez]
Ludwig saw the oncoming attack and veered right, the needles Prez threw missed his head and scraped along Ludwig's armour. Siegfried in trying to protect Ludwig moved into the path of the needles, hardening his skin with a small amount of Yoki. This amount was enough for the needles bounced of his skin like rubber.
They had both avoided the needles, but the real threat lay underneath them. The marbles that Rondo had thrown were not to cause damage, but rather slow them down by making them slip.
Ludwig stepped on 5 marbles, which made him lose his balance, he wobbled and swerved crazily trying to get his balance back. He was delayed for 10 seconds, Rondo and Prez were still in sight.
Siegfried seemed to misunderstand the intention of the marbles and having paid more attention to the needles he managed to step on 8 marbles, tripping up completely. His foot led his whole body into falling backwards and he landed on his back with a few marbles poking his body. It took Siegfried 16 seconds to recover and start running again. Rondo and Prez were out of sight, but Siegfried could still see Ludwig.

Walter can hear something approaching from the north...
SilentBuddhist - March 10, 2008 12:39 AM (GMT)
.:Walter:.
Pain shot into Walter’s shoulder as he landed a punch to Max’s stomach. When the guard finally fell unconscious, Walter noticed the guard had the last laugh, by stabbing Walter in the right shoulder with an arrowhead that the guard managed to keep hidden until now. Right now Walter bled pretty badly on both his left thigh and his right shoulder, though he doubted he’d be in any life threatening trouble.
Walter took a moment to examine the guards around him. One guard was on his side, which meant once he woke up there wouldn’t be much feeling in his arm for awhile, and the two drunkards were sleeping like babies, or at least the one Walter didn’t need to attack had been. Still, Walter didn’t want to stay there any longer; he spat into his palms and rubbed the wound on his leg with his own saliva; spat again and rubbed the saliva on his shoulder where the second wound had been, and turned around, walking down the stairway and leaving the guards alone.
As he did, he heard something north of there. As he did, Walter drew his sword and progressed more slowly down the staircase, and when he came near the exit, he walked out slowly and had his sword ready, his whole body facing north.

Ludwig regained balance after tripping up momentarily on the trap layed out by the fleeing patrol soldiers. "tch, annoying, i'll have to step up a notch." With the men still in sight he released 10% of his yoki and started the chase again trying his best to watch for any more of their tricks. "just give up already.."

.:Siegfried:.
Siegfried didn't know what had happened but suddenly he was on his back facing the dark grey clouds in the sky. He now realized the marble like projectile wasn't meant to stun them, it was meant to trip them. What little pride he had was injured fairly badly from the fall. Siegfried slowly got up and noticed the men were out of his line of vision and he could just make out Ludwig in the distance.
Siegfried quickly got up and dusted himself off and gave chase in the general direction of Ludwig. Being careful not to trip over anymore marbles, Siegfried began to run after Ludwig and made sure to watch for any more suprises to slow the two down. Siegfried transferred the miniscule amount of yoki in his 'Steel Body' and used it instead to speed himself up.

.:Kaiserin+Nyskrte:.
The pair wrestled for their vain efforts to overpower the other. Nyskrte wanted nothing more to sate her boredom with the new found toy whilst Kaiserin wished nothing more than to get away from Nyskrte for more obvious reasons (as in their 'play' might not end with merely a broken bone or two). Kaiserin struggled with might, as one would expect from a grown Claymore who was on the verge of being killed by well... many different ways. Only the end result wouldn't be a very satisfying one for Kaiserin. She kicked and violently shaked her entire body in a mad fit of rage and desperation making Nyskrte try harder to reel her in. It was out of sheer act of horror, with nothing to lose and almost at the verge of meeting Nyskrte's face close to her's (almost within breath's range) Kaiserin attempted to utilise her Drain skill on a awakened being. It was rather difficult to get a good aim at her assailant and no place she touched seemed to have too big of a effect on her until...
SMACK!
In a total act of panic and chaos, Kaiserin's struggle had managed to lay her palm slapping against Nyskrte's face, covering her eyes, the nose and her mouth and with a rude awakening the Drain had activated over the radius of Nyskrte's near human looking face, sticking like glue and eating away at the awakened being's stamina quite rapidly much to Nyskrte's displeasure and annoyance. With extra wriggle and struggle using the newly gained stamina, Kaiserin broke free from the wrestling hold as easy as pie she thought. Not that pies were easy to bake... for her and Sisteena anyway. B)
