The trainees arrived at last to their destination. A great mansion, about 3 km square of ground surrounded by a great wall. Their meeting spot was next to a massive, 6 meter tall iron gate, the only place where one would hope to get to the mansion. The gate had a sinister marks on it and so the walls have scary graffiti and ..blood. One would be terrorized of the sight as it was surrounded by a spooky forrest who had not allowed any light come throught it..and more scary to come as the sun was actually setting and nothing it would be impossible to see anything..
..Well, not scary for the hunter who was first to arrive and greet them here. In rather inconventional suit he was just standing there, looking bored. Upon all trainees assembling, he started his speech.
”
Greetings, I am Number 20 Rabant sent by chief Rimuto on a simple mission for those of you asipiring to be a Claymore soon."
The claymore looked at the assembled huntress and made some undentified sound from his mouth, one would think he was mocking them.
"
You will be assigned to patrol this area and terminate any yoma arriving here and secure any human that would happen to be in this area - yet don't be fooled, as yoma are quite clever beasts. I will be on the other side of this gate, not allowing any yoma to come in and come out of here alive and also will take any human you will find in the forest and take him to safety"Rabant stopped and looked at the sky for a moment - the sun was setting and the sky was cloudy. It would seem it was going to rain soon. Rabant brushed his hair, making it look like the idea of making them wet was something he didn't like a lot.
"
You can any questions now, also each of you will get a torch with self-ignition device, you have not to ask what's inside the mansion and whose mansion it is and also your not allowed to come inside the mansion nor let anyone get there - I think that much you should understand with your basic training"
Something came out from the forest..it was just an owl making it spooky sounds again, Rabant again looke unamused by that fact.
"
Report to me immediately by one"
OCC : Have fun
OCC2 : Song added soon..

-Lina-
The dense forest, the darkness of night, the mysterious mansion, the creepy gates leading inside it, and a warrior standing before them as a brave guardian, who would risk his life in order to protect his master.... If Lina was a romantic kind of person she would probably be excited by all that, but unfortunately it wasn't really her thing. She didn't even know why she was here. This whole event was organized as an exam for trainees, just like one that she took part in not so long ago, as a trainee that time. Now she was a watcher, and the pure fact of her and two others ranked warrior presence here was already suspicious, making one doubt the so-called easiness with is supposed to be present when one is talking about training missions. Obviously, there was more to it then Organization was trying to make her think.
The chilly wind blowed across the small point with no trees where all of them were standing, making this night colder then it could potentially be. It was not a problem for a trained warrior, so the trainees should not feel uncomfortable too. At least not because of this. Lina didn't want to be teamed up with someone who is shaking of excitement, fear, anger or whatever, this was her privilege, her companion was to be calm and ready for everything, in order to guarantee her safety. After all, Lina did not plan to waste her energy here.
The instructor was once again that Rabant guy, the one who lead her team as well. Wondering, if he ever gets to do something more hard then watching after bunch of trainees, Lina approached him.
"Greetings, commander. Am I allowed to carry additional weapons? If yes, I'd like to request 4 daggers." She decided to keep her thoughts about this mission to herself, as always. This is, after all, an opportunity for a trainees to get a rank. The should ask questions. Lina decided to let them obtain all the info they want before asking her own questions, which would be only let outside of her mouth if trainees will not ask them by themselves. This instructions were given her by Handler, and Lina didn't want to get in trouble because of disobeying them.

- Rabant -
A young huntress went to him.. a huntress he knew. It's almost annoying thought that Rabant knew every hunter and huntress in organisation and almost everyone knew him too.
I wonder what Maria do right now...and Agatha, she is quite a bitch but she surely knows her drill. And new appointed rank #1...Rabant always had a lot of respect for him. He knew how to end fights fast.
"We will deliver you the daggers after all trainees will report to me, you can choose a trainee to 'take' care of. Simply don't let him die or screw up. Although remeber - the mission is priority, trainees presence is only handlers way to save time and resources"
One day, there will be less districts.
One day there will be less enemies.
That day no longer will they mix ranked with trainees.
Reinard-fox - March 24, 2008 07:49 PM (GMT)
-Lina-
Clear as steel. Rabant have made his point obvious without and vague allusions, hints or anything that might have confused Lina. Kill the enemy. Safety of comrades is irrelevant. Well, he did say that it would be better to keep the alive, but it was hardly the main goal of mission. Meaning, could be ignored. Lina knew herself well enough to be able to predict her behavior in critical situation, so she couldn't help feeling pity towards a trainee who would be assigned to her. In the end surviving is job that everyone should complete by himself, thats what her experience told her, and thats what she believed in. She has never abandoned this paradigm and has never regretted it. And even if she did, the fact of regret itself would have proved her right - after all only those who are alive are able to fill such emotions.
"I can chose who to go with.... Not that it matters. Whoever it will be their level of strength is probably the same, so it is not likely that a trainee will be much of a help. The plan stays customary regardless of a partner. Just as the goal."
"If it is the case then I'd take whoever arrives here first, if it is OK with you, Rabant. Hopefully, we will both survive." "The less casualties the less problems with Organizations she will have. Unnecessary attention should be avoided, for nothing good comes from that." Lina has made a few steps, positioning herself behind Rabant. While waiting for the first trainee to arrive, she decided to observe the mansion, to maximum possible extent. Not much could be seen because of the darkness brought by the night, so Lina was not able to obtain any useful information. Yet, at least. She focused her attention on forest, which will be the place of upcoming battles.
Kolox - March 24, 2008 08:14 PM (GMT)
- Rabant -
"Hopefully ? If you survive, the mission is accomplished, if you die, there is high risk we will fail. So I hope I won't hear this word again." said Rabant in his own manner of speaking.
Bah, if he could split in 4, even having only 1/4 of his power, he would be enough. But he was assigned to sit inside.
"Take the first to arrive, your taking south-west part of wall. The gate is north, I will give last team that position. The second team will take south-east. After report I will head inside, as I was ordered and you will be given your equipment"
Annoying, he can feel already some presences..far. He scanned the area..no. It's safe for now, they too far. They have enough time.
Nesomachilis - March 24, 2008 08:25 PM (GMT)
- Demian -
“Whoa!” - exclaimed Demian, looking around – a deep dark forest, a place from his dreams. Yes, but something was wrong, something made him anxious, and this anxiety was everywhere – in the air, in the each leave’s whisper even in each his breath. It’s like somebody or something is hunting you – you feel it, coming closer and closer, and then, when you suddenly look behind… nothing happens. Demian had the same felling and it made him so excited, that he couldn’t help being in too high emotional state. Beauty of this place charmed him, throwing his thoughts back to his childhood…
But it was the wrong time to think about this all – the real hunt was coming soon, not a hunt for a deer or even wolves. The thing he was going to face was more terrible, more cunning than any forest predator he ever met. That thing killed father, that thing killed all whom he loved and now he was to look in those eyes again, and to have no fear in his own.
Yo… Yoma, or how do they call it? But Demian didn’t care about their name – there was no crime to call them by any other. He had their flesh inside him, and it gave him some new feelings that he had never had before, it made him stronger, but it was so strange…and so pleasing.
What? Ah, just an owl… He understood that he was looking aside too much and tried to concentrate – no emotional hits, he was on a hunt! Even the main priest had told this long time ago, Demian wished he had listened to him more…
Trying to throw away all these stupid thoughts, he finally reached the gate and before paying any attention on a man, called himself Rabant, he looked around one more time. No doubt that this place was very important for someone – first of the wall that could keep any curious creature away. That signs… What could they mean? And blood… But the answer couldn’t be given neither by this cold night, nor by these whisper of the trees, swinging their crowns somewhere in the darkness. Demian could bet that a “nice warm meeting” was waiting for them beyond that gate.
Then he finally turned his head away from the gate and decided to talk to Rabant in purpose to announce his arrival, but was outstripped by a young woman. He shrugged his shoulders and waited for them to finish their conversation, still looking around and smelling the air.
Kolox - March 24, 2008 08:44 PM (GMT)
- Rabant -
Rabant looked approaching trainee.
"Splendid, you will be assigned to this ranked huntress" shown with his hand Lina "If you have any questions, now would be the right time".
There is no time to play around here.
kenjmg - March 24, 2008 10:11 PM (GMT)
Arc
Arc was quietly concealled in the shadow watching what has transpired. "So this is simple hunt, and help if you find any alive humans take them to safety. Must avoid the mansion and keep people out of the mansion. Must be cause there is something their that we are not supposed to find out about."
"This place is kind of gives the dark feel but, that is nothing new. I guess I just have to wait for whichever comes next trainee and is to be assigned to me. Knowing Rabant he probally knew I was here from the get go but, won't bother with me til it necessary. I guess I will wait." Arc though as he continued to lean into the shadow of the tree just waiting for when his mission starts.
Nesomachilis - March 25, 2008 06:48 AM (GMT)
-Demian-
"Great" - hemmed Demian - "a mother-cat for the lost kitten".
"I've got no questions" - replied Demian when he reached Rabant (the sect had taught him to act but not to ask) - "Exept one: shall the bow be useful against those... Yoma?". Then he glanced on a huntress, and waited for the answer from Rabant.
Kolox - March 25, 2008 07:21 AM (GMT)
- Rabant -
He looked at the trainee...this question again.
"It's completely useless, unless you will hit him through his nostrils to his brain, but by all means, you can request one and get yourself killed. Hopefully your second will manage the mission by herself"
..same answer like always.
Kaiserkreuz - March 25, 2008 12:57 PM (GMT)
.:Alerian:.
Knowing that he is assigned to watch over trainees in their training mission Alerian just let out slight yawn. They were to eliminate any yoma inside the eerie mansion's forested grounds and aid any humans they find into safety. He stretched out a little to remove his boredom and wake himself up before reporting to Rabant. Salutes to Rabant before speaking, "Number 37 Alerian reporting for duty. I would like to know which trainee I'm have to watch over."
Nesomachilis - March 25, 2008 02:57 PM (GMT)
-Demian-
“My, seems like they are far tougher, than I thought” – Demian scratched his head – “All right, no more questions”. He checked the claymore on his back one more time and grinned: “Anyway, I trust this baby more than anything else! Thanks for advice, commander”
With these words he turned away from Rabant and looked at the huntress again, before determined to call her: “Hey, lady, sorry for disturbing you, but I think it’s nice time for introducing to each other” – he smiled: she was hierarchically higher than him and more skilled, so acting in this way could cause some troubles.
“My name is Demian, and can I know yours?” – he asked, not hoping to hear any answer however that might be.
Reinard-fox - March 26, 2008 07:44 AM (GMT)
-Lina-
He was here, her personal meat shield. Looking like a child of forest, and requesting a bow to that - it wasn't hard to conclude that he was originally a hunter. Great, maybe he will be useful. Or not, looking at how he seems to be extremely careless. "This attitude may be dangerous in a hunt, being so relaxed. Hopefully, this will not bring troubles upon me, his life or death does not matter to me anyways. I just do not want to receive extra portion of problems because of someone like him. "Hey, Lady", huh.... well, at least it wasn't hey baby... As if it matters."
"I'm number 41, Lina. We'll wait for others to arrive and then engage, once Rabant tells us to. Remember, you will be the only to have the most action, I'm here just to make sure that mission is a success, so I'll help you only if mission is in danger. Your personal results are not of my concern." Hopefully, he would get the message. Or else this mission will he the last one for him.
Nesomachilis - March 26, 2008 04:25 PM (GMT)
-Demian-
“Cool” – concluded Demian to himself with just one word, including all his thoughts at that moment in it. So, the real fight, not another flea hunt, was coming (as there was a skilled huntress with him) and he was to use all the abilities of yoma flesh and his own resourcefulness to survive – hard object for the one, who was going to hunt “forest gods”.
“I’ve understood” – he said to Lina, trying to be more official - “I’ll do the best that I can”.
He raised his head, looking into the darkening ocean of sky. The night would be gorgeous despite it might be full of pain, and Demian felt it by each cell of his body, both human’s and yoma’s. “What a pity that it’s so cloudy and I can’t see you...” – he smiled and hemmed once more: “Man, I’m becoming too sentimental. It’s something to do with it”.
His main task for that moment was to concentrate and put himself together, because one’s thoughts and mind are worse weapons against the hungry yoma than the sharp-cut sword, nevertheless it was too hard not to think about so harsh beauty of this place, taking a piece of one’s mind…
He stepped back and looked thoughtfully at the sky.
“By the way, what the hell are humans doing there?” – he asked himself, but he had no idea about what had they forgot in such a “nice place”. Lina didn't look like she was going to chat so he continued his contemplation of the sky.
Rakshasha - April 14, 2008 05:08 PM (GMT)
- Madallaine -
A bloody sky again...hmpf...great. It's usually my luck. Well if I get out of here with my head attached to my shoulders I'll do my best to get drunk.
The trainee's thoughts raced like this on and on as she walked down the path towards the looming gate ahead.
As she arrived, the sight of other people for once, was somehow...comforting.
It still didn't matter.
Introductions will come later on, for now things had to be done. All her thoughts were focused on one thing only and that was getting out of here alive.
After listening to the instructor's words, she stood before him. With a slight nod she continued in a serious manor;
"My name is Madallaine, and I request a very big sword and wish to know who will watch over me."
kenjmg - April 14, 2008 05:56 PM (GMT)
Arc
He watch the approach of the another trainee. "This one is female by the looks of things. Will be me or Alerian who ends up watching this one? Since it matter not who was assigned to be team up with me since it is a unknown what the abilities of these trainees are so, you can't really judge how useful they will be." Arc wounder as he just watch and waited for Rabant to inform him of which case this will be.
Kolox - April 14, 2008 05:59 PM (GMT)
- Rabant -
"Bah, your claymore sword is not enough ? If you really want to get yourself killed and fight with really big sword, that's fine by me. Tell me what kind of sword you have in mind and I will get the request as fast as possible - your watcher is that man over there" and with that words Rabant points at Arc.
Rakshasha - April 14, 2008 07:57 PM (GMT)
- Madalleine -
To where the handler pointed, Madalleine turned. She didn't care to much, but it would have been a lot nicer day if it wasn't a male. Oh, well. No reason to be picky.
I have a feeling this character will be annoying...oh well...
"Yes, thank you, I'll need a longsword if you can arrange for that."
With a smile and a farewell-for-the-moment nod, she turned and walked a few steps away from the handler, not paying much attention to the man that will be accompanying her.
kenjmg - April 14, 2008 09:11 PM (GMT)
Arc
"Oh so I am teaming up with this trainee. I wounder why she'd want a longsword which are smaller and lighter then our claymores when she requested a bigger sword. Zweihänder or some other two-handed blade would have fit what she had requested better. I guess I should introduce myself to the one I am working with." Arc thought as he slowly made his approach toward the trainee he was assigned to watch.
Arc despite the fact she was ignoring him made his introduction stepping partially in front of her, "I am number 38 Arc. I will be the one watching over you. We will wait until the final trainee arrives. Oh, and if you have any questions feel free to ask but, don't expect any answers."
Rakshasha - April 15, 2008 05:16 PM (GMT)
- Madalleine -
As Arc spoke, Madalleine turned towards him.
With an apologetic smile and nod, she continued;
"Forgive my manners. I had the impression you didn't wish to be bothered hiding in the shadows. My name is Madalleine. I have no questions. I only wish to get this over with quickly and if I get out with all limbs attached, have a drink. "
With a small grin she leaned on the wall, clearly enjoying the notion of drinking again.
kenjmg - April 16, 2008 06:07 AM (GMT)
Arc
"That unusual most warrior don't really have a taste for drinks. But that matter not this is person I am working with. I hope she proves useful." Arc thought as she introduced herself to him and then replied, "I guess a drink would be good after the mission." Arc paused for a moment before continuing, "Though if the next trainee takes too long we will just leave on the mission. Just prepare for the worst and hope for the best that all anyone can ever do." Arc then lean back on the wall about a meter away from Madalleine and waited for the final trainee or until Arc think he should start otherwise.
Kolox - April 16, 2008 11:25 AM (GMT)
OCC : The other trainee will be NPCed for now - sorry Kaiser
- Rabant -
Rabant came and sent all the requested weapons to all hunters and huntress.
"I will be protecting the inside, you should know the drill. Lina takes south west part of mansion wall, Arc takes south east. Alerian will take the gate, north. Don't dissapoint me"
With that said, Rabant went through the gate and was slowly dissapearing going towards great mansion. The mansion was quite, one could think what was there to protect.
Lina has 4 daggers, 30 cenitmeter long blade. Can be thrown as handle is quite light
Madelleine got additional long-sword, lenght 1.5 meter : blade : 1.2 meter weight 4 kg. Double edged.
- Demian and Lina -
A simple stake out at the edge of the mansion was quite a boring experience for both trainee and already ranked claymore as for next two hours nothing happened at all. Yet the boredom was about to end as a signiature of yoki already appeared.
10,12..14. That's about how many yoki signiatures Demian could feel..or at least he thought he did, as it was first time he felt so many of them and felt rather confused. Also pinpointing their location was quite hard for him, he believed only that nothing is closer to them than 150 meters from the position they were and all spread out in arc of 120 degree from him. Whatever they were approaching mansion or not, it was rather unclear.
As Lina already felt the yoki, she did not react before to them, but she felt something strange. Apparently all the yoma were formed in groups of 5 and 4, which was quite plausible strategy but something a yoma aren't doing so often. There were 15 signiatures of yoki, and one of it was not a yoma. A yoki that was approaching fast but was about to be narrowed by the team of yoma, almost surrounding it.
Also it seemed it was about to rain.
- Arc and Madalleine -
Both of them were waiting patiently for any action yet they could not feel or see anything for next 2 hours. The quite peaceful surroundings, although quite scary and suggesting that hides dreadful mysteries, was destroyed by approaching yoki.
Three yoki signiatures, each coming at front of them, but with distance. If silver hunters were well educated in math, they would say that the signiatures were making an angle of 22.5 degree between each other, while they were the root of arc.
Left, middle and right - three yoki signiatures approaching with quite immpressive speed - Impressive, thought Arc, as the forest look rather dense and decieving and moving fast in it would be incredibly hard, yet the yoma's, as they were sure to be yoma, were moving fast.
It was for them to decide whatever they would be first to approach them or remain near the wall, as the distance between them was 200 meter few seconds ago but now it's only 150 meters.
And the sky was getting dark and yells of thunder could be heard from afar - it was about to rain.
kenjmg - April 16, 2008 01:11 PM (GMT)
Arc
The moment he sense the yoki signals took a few steps forward Arc then ready himself as he said, "Get ready we are about to have some company in a little bit. Three coming from the north-west. Let's see what you can do." Arc with claymore unsheathed prepared for the fight ahead. He planned to face off against two of the approaching yoki's leaving one for Madalleine. Though if she seem able to handle more Arc will allow her a chance to deal with more if he doesn't kill his opponents to quickly that is.
Rakshasha - April 16, 2008 02:53 PM (GMT)
- Madallaine -
At Arc's call, Madalleine showed her claymore ready to fight. The longsword was still in it's sheath..for now.
She started to release small amounts of Yoki for a simple power boost. She could feel the Yoki as well, but didn't know it with pin-point accuracy.
They were coming in fast of that she was sure.
"Eh, these are fast buggers. Any special advice on you, you're willing to share? Appart from prepare for the worst?"
She gave him a cynical look, almost hoping he had something laughable or stupid to say. She returned back to preparing for the fight ahead.
Kaiserkreuz - April 16, 2008 03:44 PM (GMT)
.:Alerian:.
"Ok I'll be staying here at the north gate watching anything trying to get in or out of the place." Then Alerian leans on the wall closes his eyes and hones his senses on sensing anyone with or without yoki trying to approach the north gate.
kenjmg - April 16, 2008 06:16 PM (GMT)
Arc
Arc replied calmly watching the three approaching yoki, "Didn't think you would need it yet. Besides completing the mission this is also about seeing what you can do. But if you want advice play your strengths. Though I don't what that is for you so, I can't really explain how you would go about that."
Nesomachilis - April 18, 2008 05:27 PM (GMT)
-Demian-
Demian stepped back, trying to locate the source of the yoki signal. Here he is… And another… “Oh, rats! There are too many of them!” – he whispered and curved like a cat. It was like foes were combing out through the forest, looking for the Claymores to hunt the down the hunters.
There was no point to fight mindlessly in such conditions, so Demian decided to investigate the enemy first. He put all his body together and rapidly jumped on the nearest and lowest tree branch, trying to make no noise. It was better to try hunting the creatures one by one anyway (but how? – he hadn’t planned it yet).
“By the way, can they feel us like we are doing now?” – he asked Lina and squatted down – “If it isn’t so, then we can split up and try to chase them for some time…Mind if I check?” – he smirked and prepared to climb up waiting only for Lina’s answer. 14 enemies - that was not rather funny joke for the beginner.
He really hoped his childhood’s talent of tree climbing and moving through the forest by them (he used to do it like another squirrel, a big noisy heavy squirrel) wouldn’t let him down, besides he had the yoma power inside him, letting him to use this talent in a useful way, as he thought.
Reinard-fox - April 18, 2008 07:50 PM (GMT)
-Lina-
Rookie was suggesting something.... Maybe she would have agree if she was sure in his powers, but for no info was there to measure his powers she decided to decline. "Whatever happens, I do not wish to deal with 14 fuckers all alone. Hopefully he will take out at least a couple of the before dying, I can't let him to there and lose a head without doing at least something useful."
"No, you better not. It is way easier for me to trace their Yoki signatures then to play James Bond here. We'll simply wait for them here. It would be good if you camouflaged yourself up their and tried to suppress your Yoki as much as possible. I'll position myself 3 meters behind you and release some yoki, so that my signature would cover yours. If you are able to suppress it well it may work out. Once they came near me you are to attack their backs from that tree of yours. And don't die to fast - take out at least one or two before you do."
"I'm yet to see a monkey-style claymore. How will this turn out...." Not noticing this herself, Lina became quit curious and interested in this battle, mainly because of trainee. She expected to observe something fun, something unusual to save her from boredom, and this was s good opportunity to fulfill that wish. Hopefully, it will work out. In bot survival and entertainment meanings.
Nesomachilis - April 19, 2008 12:08 PM (GMT)
-Demian-
Demian hemmed, and then, after thinking a little, turned his head to the huntress:
- Lady, I like this idea of yours, but I haven't practice with yoma-inside surpressing a lot, hope this nice trick shall work. Ha, anyway you know them better than me.
Demian put the idea of climbing away and looked around. After some seconds passed he chose the optimal place to conceal and tried to concentrate.
It was still quiet, too quet for imaging the 14 pairs of jaws heading in your direction to taste your flesh, leaving you without your own dinner.
Demian sat on the branch, hidden by the leaves, then put his hand on his knee, relaxed and tried to surpress his yoki as Lina suggested. Hm, harder than it seemed, but not impossible. (Easy, man, it's not the time yet, I'll feed you later - he sad to the Yoma inside and as it was expected, he didn't get the answer)
Demian also prepared his sword - it would be no time to do it when those critters come. He was exited by each of his cells, but tied to hide it - he wasn't going to meet the end here, in the forgotten land.
"Who is that James Bond? A Yoma? Ah, the hell with him" - that were his only thoughts before the coming silence in his head.
Kolox - April 19, 2008 03:57 PM (GMT)
OCC : I guess Lina really has some extraordinary knowledge - James Bond is previus rank 007 Claymore but died of aids.
- Madallaine -
The yoki was approaching fast..and it was already visible - 2 figures which were closing it's distance to her. Not far from each other.
Normally they wouldn't be able to see anyone from distance of 50 meters in this forest - this case was different, those figures weren't coming out from forest - they were above the forest. The two winged yoma's were flying with moderate speed towards the villa - seems they had no interest in both Arc and Madallaine.
The yoma were approximately 6 meters above the ground, above most small trees and avoiding the bigger ones who could go to 8 meters height.
With them being next to wall, it would take the yoma's about 2 minutes to approach the wall and get on the other side.
- Demian -
The yoki were moving around funny - the moved and concentrated somewhere in the center, probably 200 meters from them. The 15th yoki that could be felt clearly by both Lina and Demian was surrounded but...it went through. It went through and it was coming to them with great speed.
There was only 12 yoki of yoma left now - whatever happened, it was for those two to deduce. The 12 yoki split in 4 groups of 3. 2 of those groups stayed behind, two of them went ahead.
The 15th yoki was approaching quickly, 100 meters..50 meters..yet through darkness no one could see anything.
From Demian and Lina part of wall, the water drops started to fall...
- Alerian -
Freaking cold.
Kaiserkreuz - April 19, 2008 04:44 PM (GMT)
.:Alerian:.
"DAMN! IT'S COLD HERE AND BORING!" Alerian murmured.
kenjmg - April 19, 2008 05:42 PM (GMT)
Arc
"Looks like two flying Yoma and they are heading towards the villa. Now should we intercept them or follow them? Either way is okay by me but... wait a second where is the source of the third yoki signal. Keep on guard." Arc said trying to decide how he should he go about this. Weather he should focus on the defense against the unknown opponent or go on the offensive against the two flying yomas.
Then Arc continued as he made his decision, "I will leave the decision on what to do about the two flyer's to you as I deal with the unknown opponent. I just have a feeling that you got something that maybe useful for dealing with that. I will be there to help you as soon as I am done."
Arc then figuring that that he couldn't see the opponent in the sky or on the ground that only left one place that it could be. However that location is no some place he could strike easily. So he headed in direction of the third yoki and prepared for attacks from the ground. As he only used his yoki sense to watch Madallaine and the yoma in the air.

- Madalleine -
Before an 'I object' could come, Arc was gone, and the two flying Yoma were left to her.
Gods, I really hate men...well it's now or never to get rid of my fear of heights...doooh...
Running as fast as her Yoki empowered legs would allow her, Madalleine managed to beat the Yoma a few feat from the wall.
The following strategy was simple;
Release 10 % Yoki, jump up in the air, unsheathe the longsword, and before the Yoma even realize what in hells name is going on, start Howling, scare them, and then start slashing.
Hmpf... 'would have been crazy enough to do that a few years ago...no...nonono...can't go like that.
Ok, so a while ago, they were speeding, and now they taking a joy ride...don't make sense, unless the villa was the primary concern...
. . .
Maybe they want to open a hotel?
. . .
Gods no...the world isn't that mad...or is it?
She shook her head violently to get back on track;
Concentrate damnit! Ok, let's try to remember things...alright, we were told to bring back any secured humans, so that would mean...ok, so that makes sense. There's a storm coming up it'll gather up here soon. They'll have to land...but they'll reach the villa by then already...
No time to check for any higher ground or cover...there's a tree near the villa...that's at least 7 feet tall, and it looks like it could hold my weight. This better work.
She raced towards it, in hopes she would beat the Yoma. Madalleine raced up the tree, and suppressed Yoki as much as possible, hopping to strike them from ambush.
Now, if all goes well, I should be able to...hmm...this will get a lot of attention, bith Yoma, Claymore and human...I only hope the humans don't start scattering if any are near by...*sigh* I wasn't dragged here to be a cattle rancher...bah!
Now grumbling to herself, she awaited the Yoma patiently, unsheathing her longsword quietly.

- Arc -
Upon going ahead, Arc wisely pinpointed the next yoki - it indeed dissapeared below them, but it was not trying to ambush him as it was simply going towards the wall.
What was the reason of this ? This is unbelievable, for a yoma food is more important than getting to some mansion.
Arc needed to go about 50 meters from the wall to find the yoki, the yoki was about 1.5 meter below him and it was moving really slow. Ground itself didn't shown where he was but Arc didn't need that to pinpoint his location.
Trees around him might be the reason why the yoma below him has trouble digging, as although those weren't the highest trees, they rooots went deep.
There was a great howl...
..and rain started to fall..
- Maddalleine -
OCC : Is there any way to call it shorter, one day or another I will misspell her name and you will hate me for that ;p
The race begun and seems that with target seen, the yoma speed up. She climbed the tree with her yoki released, as the distance wasn't big, so the climbing was done by Maddalleine effortlessly, yet the yoma was already passed her..
..but that didn't matter. As Maddalleine, as planned, used her howl at the yoma who were turned back at her and she unsheathed her longsword.
One yoma, closest to her, tried to stop in mid-air - pitiful attempt that made him fall backwards towards Maddalleine and making his back in reach of her claymore sword.
The other yoma, a little further from her - about 3 metres, was a little less affected but the shock made him lose balance too - he attempted to land on ground as he couldn't control his flight any more.
..also for disadvantage of the yoma, rain started to fall...

Arc
"Looks like this yoma isn't going to surface unless I force it to the surface. Let see is there anything that I could stick into the ground with enough force to reach it. Looks like it will start the rain that may help later but, not until the ground becomes soak." Arc thought as he quickly looked for anything like a pole or a long straight branch or anything that he put into the ground that could get this creatures attention.

- Mad. -
OOC: How's that? :P Besides, you already misspelled it :D
IC:
YES!
Having the Yoma startled, and having rain made this one good opportunity. The first to fall down, was the closest airborne Yoma, the one who met the blade end of Madalleine's claymore. The other one's face would meet her longsword's blade being stuck in it's face. As all three fell down, Madalleine grabbed one of the branches to try and soften the fall. She watched the beasts from the safety of the branch, only the fabled yellow eyes starring from the darkness.
I managed to hit...if they're dead or not is a different matter entirely...let's wait and see

OCC: Mad are you planning to kill any of the yoma. Since one is making a attempt to landed on the ground, while the other is loosing balanced right by you is the situation. Personally I don't like leaving an opportunity to finish off an enemy but, I guess that is your choice after all.
Could some one move this post to the Brama lounge.

-Lina-
Something happened in the forest. Something strange, for some of Yoki, three to be exact, have dissapeared. For Lina was hardly great in Yoki reading she could not tell what exactly have happened there, she could only use her logic to assume it, and that logic told her that a battle might have occurred there. A fight that resulted in deaths of three Yoma that surrounded the victim, which was now running in their direction. Pretty rapidly to that.
It was time to make a decision that could be based only on her logic and a miserable number of facts. Obviously, Lina couldn't afford to try anything risky, to little info was in her possession for that, so she decided to stay put for now. She lowered her Yoki as much as possible, trying to hide it completely so that stranger who is approaching them would not notice her, and went near the closest tree. She positioned herself behind it, so that stranger would not see her until gets past the tree at his very fast speed, thus not being able to pay too much attention to the surroundings which will allow Lina to get past his back as he runs past her position.. he planned to make a surprise appearance after that, attacking him or not despite on who he turnes out to be, comrade or Yoma.
Hopefully her companion will act according to plan, not showing himself until situation calls for it.

-Demian-
Something was rapidly approaching their position, but Demian couldn't understand what it was. It's yoki... It was very strange - a little different from the others. Now he could feel it. He wasn't really keen in yoki reading, but he could bet the others were hunting their guest. He just felt it. Some auras seemed to disappear... Or it's just some kind of noise?
A comrade? May it be someone of the trainees? Impossible, their positions were quite far from their.
Than, a Yoma? Do Yoma hunt each other? - who knows. Demian didn't know how many kinds of Yoma existed, it might be some other species or something, but he wasn't sure. It might be Rabant, but he didn't seem to be - he had stayed by the gate... (If only they hadn't chased him right in this direction)
Demian saw Lina changing her position - she might had felt something. But it was the worst time to ask - they might hear.
Yoma appeared to regroup (if he could feel it right), so he had a chance to hunt them as he planned. But what is Lina doing? She should lure them, but it seemed that something went not according to their plan. Did she really feel something strange as he did? Well, it was better to see the approaching being first before sticking sword into it.
He hid himself as he could and stared into darkness, covering their guest by it's black mantle, also looking up sometimes.
So close... Damn, where is he? I can't see anybody...

- Arc -
Apparently what one could call a pole wasn't really that hard to find, as there were many fallen trees of various weight and lenght, but each of them was at least 3 to 4 meters long. Some were thick, some not but all had one problem - they weren't really sharp. Sticking them into the ground could be quite a trick as the pressure of quite solid ground would be great. Although the ground was slowly becoming a little softer thanks to the rain.
Yet it was not yet the level which would ease the inpaling, although thanks to the softening Arc could see in what direction Yoma went thanks to the cracks on the ground while he was digging..although it was unnecesary information for him as his yoki sensing ability already gave out his enemy position
- Mad -
Mad pulled out her claymore sword and struck down the nearest yoma who was completely unprepared for an attack and most likely - deaf. The sword went like a knive through butter, cutting the enemy in half. The enemy made an ugly sound of agony, despite his throat being completely cut.
The other enemy was already alarmed, as he new that "Something" caused that yell, he acted like a panicked animal who didn't even want to encounter the enemy. A wise decison on behalf of the yoma was yet not enough to completely dodge Madelleine attack.
As she jumped off using branches as "securment" for her fall, the yoma hit the air with his wings to go up again. Aiming for his head, Mad hit right wing of the yoma and her longsword gut stuck in leather like wings. Mad kept the longsword hardly in her hand and instictively had her claymore prepared, but the yoma, despite the pain, ripped his right wing in half because of the longsword stuck in the wing, with the help of his left wing still hitting the invisible air and distancing himself from Mad for 4 meters.
- Lina and Demian -
The figure approached, no - it was 4 figures but from only one yoki could be beamed. 3 cloaked persons and one with a claymore sword and Javelin at his back.
"Rabant you asshole" was the only comment the approaching warrior with blue hair said. The man had not noticed both Lina and Demian and the yoki of the yoma was approaching them quickly.
The enemy was approaching quickly, Demian and Lina could feel the rest of the yoma being roughly 60 meters from them, yet the darkness of forest and rain made it rather hard to get the visual contact. The yoma were going around diagonally, from tree to tree. Rather unusual tactic for such creatures.
- Alerian -
The splash of water afar, someone was approaching yet no yoki could be felt. The figure of, most likely, a man.
