Good answer, now you chose the riddle.
Zyel - March 1, 2008 02:34 PM (GMT)
Black I am and much admired,
men seek me until they're tired.
When they find me, they break my head,
and take from me my resting bed.
What am I?

A very popular and stupid riddle :
Romeo and Juliet are found dead on the floor in a bedroom. When they were discovered, there were pieces of glass and some water on the floor. The only furniture in the room is a shelf and a bed. The house in is a remote location, away from everything except for the nearby railway track. What caused the death of Romeo and Juliet?
Elcura - March 4, 2008 08:19 AM (GMT)
R&J are fish, the bowl was knocked over by a train as it rumbled by the house.
Kolox - March 4, 2008 03:34 PM (GMT)
Indeed. Elcura gives a riddle.
Zyel - March 5, 2008 02:08 PM (GMT)
The last one was a bit off course... Riddles whould be about an object or so.
MoonWhisper - March 5, 2008 07:51 PM (GMT)
Well if Elcura doesn't come back that's an issue.
Ah w/e I'll give one just to see who'll get it.
----------
I went into the forest and got it.
I sat down to seek it.
I brought it home because I couldn't find it.
What was it?
Rabbit - March 5, 2008 07:59 PM (GMT)
Elcura - March 5, 2008 08:03 PM (GMT)
A splinter?
Edit: DAMMIT RABBIT, posted before me.
Edit 2: randomly posting up a riddle. Easy one, though it's been a while so sorry if I got it wrong.
We all have one, you remove a letter a bit still remains.
You remove another one, bit still remains.
You try so hard, if you're willing enough you can remove another letter, but it still remains.
It certainly dies hard.
Another for shits and giggles
I am hard yet soft, I am coloured yet clear, I am fruity and sweet. I am Jelly.
WHAT AM I?!
Rabbit - March 7, 2008 12:43 PM (GMT)
Well the first one is a habit. I have no idea what the answer to the second one is :P
Elcura - March 7, 2008 06:36 PM (GMT)
Hah correct.
And the answer to #2 is JELLY. As if you didn't know >D

Pretend you're a bus driver. You start in New York, pick up 10 people. You then drive to Connecticut, drop off 5 people and pick up 15 people. You then drive to New Jersey, drop off 20 people and pick up 27. You then drive to Tennessee, drop off 2 people and pick up 8. You then drive to Texas, drop off 9 people, and pick up 10. Halfway up to Oklahoma, you stop for fuel and 3 people decide to get off. Once you get there 11 people get off and 29 more get on.
What colour was the bus driver's hair and why?
Kolox - March 10, 2008 06:20 AM (GMT)
He was dark blond because I am the bus driver.
Zyel - March 10, 2008 08:37 PM (GMT)
My turn. This one is very tricky and very short so don't complain.
What eats but never drinks?
Elcura - March 10, 2008 11:33 PM (GMT)
Zyel - March 11, 2008 05:25 AM (GMT)
Elcura - March 11, 2008 08:10 AM (GMT)

Rabbit - March 14, 2008 01:50 PM (GMT)
Old riddles are always the most fun.
There's something in my pocket but there's nothing in my pocket. What's in my pocket?

Zyel - March 15, 2008 02:33 PM (GMT)
Hynavian - June 26, 2008 12:00 PM (GMT)
Can we have the answer to the last question please, Rabbit? Meanwhile, here's a riddle from me.
The man who invented it doesn't want it. The man who bought it doesn't need it. The man who needs it doesn't know it. What is it?
Hynavian - July 4, 2008 01:23 PM (GMT)
No one guessing? Alrighty, here's the answer then.
Coffin
Here's another riddle; What goes around the world but stays in a corner?
Bluedragon77 - July 7, 2008 11:43 PM (GMT)
That little "X" in the corner of the internet browser. It can traverse the world but it will forever be at the corner.
Hynavian - July 8, 2008 05:11 AM (GMT)
That's not the answer that I have in mind but it's also quite accurate. Hood job Bluedragon77! (: Behold my answer below!
Stamp. It travels around the world but always stay in the corner of an envelope.
Here's the next riddle; I am weightless, but you can see me. Put me in a bucket, and I'll make it lighter. What am I?
Bluedragon77 - July 8, 2008 05:27 AM (GMT)
A Balloon? Like one of those Hot Air Balloons?
kenjmg - July 10, 2008 11:19 PM (GMT)
It is a hole.
How about this I am at the being of end, the end of life and occur twice in a eternity. What am I?
Bluedragon77 - July 11, 2008 09:05 AM (GMT)
kenjmg - July 11, 2008 12:36 PM (GMT)
Writing that down made that riddle too easy. Here is another classic riddle.
How far can you go into a forest?
Bluedragon77 - July 11, 2008 07:22 PM (GMT)
Until you reach Red Riding Hood's Grandmother's cottage. That or until you reach the other side.
kenjmg - July 11, 2008 07:49 PM (GMT)
That is wrong I am going give someone else a chance to answer before a post it. Here is another riddle. This one shouldn't be too hard.
If you see me you are blind. If you hear me you are deaf. If you eat me you will starve. If you live for me you might as well be dead. What am I?
Bluedragon77 - July 14, 2008 05:31 AM (GMT)
kenjmg - July 14, 2008 01:31 PM (GMT)
Wrong try again and the answer to riddle before that is :
Halfway, any farther into the forest and you are going out of the forest.
Hynavian - July 19, 2008 05:45 AM (GMT)
That's a nice one Arc! XD
Here's a riddle.
What is it that, after you take away the whole, some still remains?
kenjmg - July 21, 2008 06:43 AM (GMT)
It is "Wholesome".
What is something if you take some away you end up with more?
