The Law

While I am happy to announce that we wish to run a forum where freedom is the key word that describes us I also believe I need to make some ground rules as a guideline for you all. Some of you might already be familiar with the basic ettiquette when it comes to joining a forum and taking part in one.

1st Law
You will be allowed to swear on the forums. Swear at will and I encourage the freedom of speech propaganda however, should a member file in a report telling us that you were responsible for swearing at another in a harsh way that we deem it was uncalled for then you will be quietly asked by a mod to apologize to the person should we find sufficient evidence that you were responsible for the claimed actions. Should harassment continue we will not hesitate to inform you to change otherwise face instant ban. While I have no issues with swearing in general I do not wish to have to see members swearing at one another over trivial matters from internet nor do I want anyone who thinks they can swear at anyone just because I've decided to be more lenient than I should. Don't disappoint me for your best of interests.

2nd Law
Sexual and Obscene materials will be closely watched by the mods and should they find a content disrespectful and/or disturbing in anyway I will question the person in question and you will be warned not to post such content on these forums unless with good reason as to why. While I wish to be lenient on this as well, I do not want such childish behaviours to reflect on us as a community and so without a discussion should you happen to post illegal/disturbing contents that I or the other mods find disrespectful and disturbing, you will only be warned once in a gentle manner and there won't be a second warning.

3rd Law
Should a problem arise amongst the community and you wish to seek mediation approach me with a pm. I, above all else wish to settle things fair and possibly in a just manner. As is such, should you have a problem with another member of our community do not be afraid to seek me through pm or through other moderation team. I will open a court and view your story and listen to the defendent's side of the tale before coming to a judgement. I am a harsh task master and even harsher when it comes to be fair, whether they be my right hand people or moderation crew matters little and should you find a mod or even an admin who dared to cross the line or should you find one abusing their powers you are welcome to come to me for a fair hearing. Do not hesitate to seek a admin to talk to even if you have problems with me.

4th Law
Now in regards to RP. For the sake of fairness of it all, I will not be choosing favorites hence this means neither the mods or the normal rpers have a chance at jumping ranks unlike many other RPs where the mods have assumed the position of leadership for the sake of being mods. I will treat all equally and thus I expect all of whom participate in the RP to start from the very bottom ranks. All actions you make must be ready by the RP mods and they will write a brief conclusion to each actions. A RP mod will also be in charge of controlling the npc's ranging from awakened beings, yoma, and townsfolks to interact with the RPers. Each RP mod is expected to be able to have creativity to create their own little side missions and have the RPer's assign themselves to the missions themselves. A RP mod who created his/her side mission is then responsible to carry out the mission and write conclusions for each RPer's actions (This would idealistically be within Combat mainly and some key interactions RPers make with the key NPCs the RP mods have come up with). Rp-Mods have many responsibilities unlike many other forums where RP mods assume the higher ranks and do nothing I expect them to work hard to maintain their title lest they wish to lose it. Should you feel that you are a capable candidate to apply for this task feel free to read the tasks you are expected to perform here and contact me through pm. I will test those who wish to take on the responsibility.

5th Law
Within each RP side quests I expect the RPer's to fully respect the conclusions and decisions made by the RP-Mods. Should there be a conflict and it requires my intervention address the problem to my PM box detailing how you felt you've been wronged and why. If I find it plausible that you have been severely wronged there will be some dire consequences. Respect the decision of a RP mod however do not feel pressured to speak up. This is a free country and I expect conflicts to take place. Feel free to address the issue to me at any given time unless I appoint another individual who can take up the task.

6th Law
Now the general procedure to those who did break the rules. Those of you found guilty of breaking any of the rules set for this forum will immediately be notified through all the staff and we will keep a close watch on your behaviour and actions. We will also forward you a pm (one of us will eventually) and expect you to have understood the messege. Failure to recgonize you had a pm from us and not checking is not of our concern and will be treated as such. Should you fail to understand our first warning we won't hesitate to consider banning you. Your RP character will be assumed dead in service and will not be recovered by any of the staff lest we want formal complaints from you saying we stole your work. We will only hand out a warning once and on some occassions twice but in general should you be approached by us with one warning, for your convenience and sake please do not expect a second warning if at all. You are responsible for your own actions at your own discretion.
