"Upon what happened, I wouldn't be surprised if none of you got a rank" said Rabant strictly. All claymores besides Alerian and Mara were next to Rabant, scolded. The two mentioned were few meters behind, lying on specially prepared mats, having their wounds treated professionally ,so they can easily regenerate.

"You got fooled, you got sidetracked - you were weak ! Honestly, I don't remember a time watchers were so needed before"

One of the trainees Claymore which weren't fighting with meagre said "If it wasn't for them to defeat the yoma, I could have.." but the young trainee was interupted by rabant continued rant

"Could Have - Should Have - DIDN'T !" shouted Rabant, adding some expression of irony in his speech.

"Stay here and await for results - some of you already know that you won't be ranked Rabant looked at the claymore's who didn't find Meagre "But some of you still have a pitiful chance - good for you, it's not me who makes the ranks.."

With that said, Rabant left to join other ranked warriors, discussing todays action

When Alerian hears Rabant scolding the others he was very uneasy and kinda disappointed with the actions he did so he contemplates on it. "If only that I wasn't naive and just kill that renegade on sight like what was ordered this wouldn't have happened no one would have been seriously injured. Never again I will show mercy to a target in a mission never." and the he looks at Mara who is also injured like him he couldn't start a conversation with the others since he was bothered by the missions outcome so he just keeps quiet, watches the other trainees and tries to hear what they are saying. But he was most worried that he might not receive a rank again because of his failure in the mission.

Although she wasn't yet fully recovered, Mara lay on her back listening to the torrent of abuse that was Rabant's displeasure at the botched mission and knew that it was directed as much against her as the others - she was not blameless by any stretch of the imagination. Her eyes flickered towards Alerian for a second and caught his pensive expression and her lips tightened, forming into a grim smile as she stared up at nothing in particular. She wondered if he had not come to the same conclusions about why the mission had met with such disaster - after all, it was she who had found the traitor first, hadn't she? Duty demanded that she carry out her orders and bring her in dead or alive and what she did was dereliction of duty. It was as simple as that. Well, if it was all the same to the Organisation, then Mara preferred dead - at least then they didn't struggle.

Continuing to stare up into space, she was left with little besides her own thoughts.

Rabant came out with some kind of list and faced all the trainees. He looked strict, he looked displeased and he looked disappointed..disappointed with the results.

"The names and ranks are about to read are the decission we made over all, after a great discussion - you have no rights to complain, you have no rights to discuss it with us - with some people I will talk seperately "



"Thanks to Arc and Lindy assistance, we promoted their ranks to the one there were empty - congratulation - all that passed, be proud"

Rabant went to Mara and Siegfried.

"You two have a different case - Mara, your rank is too high for what you accomplished, but your survival had made us very interested in your skill - we want you to participate in another mission as a watcher too see if you really are worthy of that rank..in my eyes, you and Siegfried should share the same rank.."

He turned his eyes at Siegfried and said coldly

"You also are asked to come to the second mission, so we can revise your rank more - for now, you got the lowest avaible rank but with your further actions, you can change it - if you won't agree on that, you will remain with what you got..unless your satisfied you got a rank..

Rabant then shouted so everyone could hear.

You are dismissed, each of you will be in contact with a handler, spread out

Arc thought as he went to lean against a tree, "Hmm... So I am now Number 38 well I guess it was bound to raised eventually due all the missions I have been participating in. Well I guess I should relax for a bit since I don't know when the next time I will have to get to relax. And looks like there are four new warriors added to our ranks. That is good I am glad that some had attained ranks though I wished it were more."

Rabant's tone suggested that he would brook no refusal and in any case, Mara was not about to give any such thing. She would prove that she was truly worthy of her rank, one way or another.

She saluted sharply, "If that is the Organisation's command."

Not many got a second chance.

Siegfried stood at attention to Rabant's reprimanding at the trainee's present. Siegfried stood there in deep thought wondering how he could have been so easily fooled by a Yoma.

When Alerian received his rank he was very surprised and unsure if he was worthy of the rank given. "Number 42 eh not quite bad but I'm still not sure of it oh well I must make sure that I won't commit the same mistakes again. Hmmm it seems that Siegfried and Mara will be participating in another mission what is it? But it is better not ask any questions about the matter." Alerian removes the knot that keep his long hair fixed in it position and now it flow down almost reaching his ankle and then sits down to be more comfortable while grooming them.
