Mafia (well how I play it), is a card game where everyone gets a card. The card symbolizes a person that lives in a village. Yet, if you get a card with a Queen (like Queen of Hearts) you are a Mafia member. It takes two Mafia members to kill a villager, and they do this at night when the villagers are sleeping (you all have to be sleeping).

In the morning when everyone wakes up, they will discover discover a dead body or no one dead depending on if the Mafia members aren't able to kill anyone. Then the go to the village square when they decide who is the Mafia member and argue among themselves. Then they lynch the suspicious person. This person can either be a poor villager who looks guilty or the real Mafia member. Also, everyday you MUST lynch someone. This is mandatory.

Rules:

-if you want to play, PM me and I'll give you what card you are.
-if you are a Mafia member, you must PM at night and tell me who you want to kill
-I will announce when it is day or night
-you have to PM me if you're a Mafia member
-also, please don't PM others asking if they are a villager and Mafia member. Imagine if you're a Mafia member and you PM your best friend asking if they're a Mafia member, it'll easily make you look suspicious.

We'll start with two Mafia members because there's not a lot of people. Also, it is never too late to join, just PM me and I'll give you a card and you'll just 'move' into the village.

Also the person who dies (either form getting killed or lynched) afterwards just posts a reply on this thread telling what card they have.

Before a person gets lynched, they can also tell the reason why they're innocent, and the villagers get to argue again about if they're innocent or guilty. No one posts at night (except me and the Mafia members PM me with the person they want to kill). In the daytime, when you argue about who's getting lynched, YOU MUST ARGUE ON THE THREAD, AND NOT IN PRIVATE MESSAGES).

And you can make up a fake name for your villager like Harry Potter or Ronald McDOnald or Britney Spears. Just mention who your villager is in the first post.

Indeed - on the settings I played we had one detective when we had 7 players. On other we had a three way - 1 mafioso, 1 werewolf and 3 citizens with one priest included.

But from as far as I knew, there had to be a medic in the town who could save citizens. He would chose one villager and if the mafia members would hit him he would be found by the medic in the morning and he would be saved.

Hmm is the Medic also known as the Doctor? For the version that I've played, there's only detectives, doctor, mafia and civilians. I'm unsure what are the duties of the other characters though. /wah

Mafia - Mafia can kill at night, their objective is to kill as many innocent as possible. They win when mafia has more players than innocent

Village Idiot - An innocent on mafia side, if detective invesgates him, he comes out as "TOWNIE"

Townie - Unroled player. As all the players, he can vote at day to lynch someone

Doctor - Can save someone from dying if he is attacked by mafia, but only if at night he visits this person house. Saves from unprotected sex.

Prostitute - Spreads out aids. Prostitute can decide whatever she is on side of innocent or mafia.

Sayan - Sayan can kill someone with his KAMEHAMEHA, but at cost of his own life

Detective - Can investigate each night one player and see what his role is
