Title: Extra Scene Seven : Heroes & Gods
Description: Hyn and Kolox presents~~
Kolox - January 25, 2008 09:16 PM (GMT)
The three man came to slay the great beast. The beast with 3 head, each spurted different poison, lethal and deadly.
But the heroes weren't scared. They fought bravely yet most of their attempts were futile. Each of them, incredibly strong. Each of them, incredibly fast. Each of them, incredibly brave. Yet powerless...
Yet with great reasoning and bravery, the monster was brought down
The monster jaw opened and said
"Even thought you defeated me, this land will bear another gods, this land cannot live without the god and those people need it"
Upon hearing those words, the great heroes stayed in this land and continued to fight new obstacles, new enemy, new GODS.
And even thought they fought bravely for all the years, even thought they returned individually every time they were needed, they have fallen to the GODS.
And the GODS are angry - and the GODS carve for blood, for their patronage is not free...------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission Briefing :
You are to locate three claymores which disappeared in the secluded village called "Ribb". If you are to find them alive, make sure they will return with their reports - they have yet to be announced 'renegades'. If you are to find them dead, find the reason that killed them and terminate it. You have supplies hidden in a cart outside the village.
Be careful, the village have little tolerance towards strangers, they also have not requested anything from us so they might not tolerate your presence there, yet you might need to enter it for information gathering.
God Speed.
OCC : 5~6 players can join. The starting point is next to the cart, 150 meters outside the village.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Sun shone overhead, scorching the skins of any humans who dared to stay out for too long. The lone cart did not seem to be lonely out in the wild for it was accompanied by lush greeneries, the many trees and bushes rustled slightly. There, the troops were to gather and to infiltrate the village that was in the distance. Glancing afar, the village seemed to be at peace with nature for it embraced it totally. The brownish brick walls could almost be mistaken as the trunks of the many tall trees that were found in the woods. The lone settlement was not to be undermined for it stood tall and strong, just like the surrounding trees and they reached out to the cloudless blue skies. The walls surrounding the village were not exactly tall and would have failed to keep out curious glances of travelers. Though so, the walls looked sturdy, just like the various architectures found in the village. Even from a distance, none would have failed to notice a watch tower that was in the village for it stood out rather awkwardly in the center, thus, becoming the center of focus.
However, all was silent for not a single person was in sight. Save for the sounds of nature like the creaking of insects and the rustling of bushes, not the voice of a single soul was heard. It was silent, a little way too quiet to be true...
Bluedragon77 - January 25, 2008 09:48 PM (GMT)
The grass crunched under the heavy footsteps of a large metal boot. Out from behind a couple of trees a tall man carrying a large sword came into view. With his long blonde hair swaying gently in the winds, the man looked out with both eyes at his surrounding area. The first to arrive was Siegfried Schtauffen.
Siegfried had recievd this mission yesterday afternoon. He spent all night travelling to the village of Ribb. Arriving on the outside of the village where the supply cart for the mission was, Siegfried looked around in the small clearing for any signs of his teammates. It appeared he was the first one there.
Looking a little surprised that he had been early for once, Siegfried decided to sit down and relax for a bit. Pulling his sword out, Siegfried found a decent spot next to the cart and set his blade into the ground. Crossing his arms Siegfried sat down and decided to rest and wait for his teammates to show up. As Siegfried rested he made sure to keep a wary sense on his surroundings. Though Siegfried was a little cautious, he couldn't help but listen to the sound of nature around him. It was comforting and it helped him greatly to relax. It was really soothing to the point Siegfried almost fell asleep.
Asura - January 26, 2008 12:24 AM (GMT)
Cheri looked the scenery before her; dry, patched grounds with no vegetation. She was glad that she ate before she started traveling (even though it was a piece of watermelon, Claymore though didn't need a lot of nutrition). Cheri felt a little drowsy, for who wouldn't at the neverchanging brown ground that seemed to stretch on for hours. Her bubbly attitude kept her awake, and she kept a good pace to her desination.
She hummed a comforting tune she heard once when she was little from a wandering bard that happened to come to their village. It was a lively song that origionally (with words) was about a man going to sea and leaving his beloved behind. People at the village didn't know what sea was, and neither did Cheri, but now she did. It was a glistening pool that had no end. It sparkled with a hundred diamonds and wanted her to play in its depth.
The desert was much like the ocean, only instead of brimming like teardrops, it brimmed with dust. Her armor had speckles of it everywhere and so did her face. She didn't mind that however, Claymore were able to stand up to the elements.
Finally she spotted a cart with a person standing by it. The person had a yoki, and even from the distance she noticed the silver armor.
"Yoohhhoo!" she called up, waving one of her arms. She stopped the steady pace she was going and began to run towards the cart and the mysterious person by it.

There was nothing in the air. There wasn't a single sound, not even of that of a crow or even the rustling of a insect. Artemis felt a little sad, there was no life around her or anything. She like sounds of nature, anything like that. It gave her satisfication that she wasn't alone. A river, a songbird, even stars illuminating in the dark sky gave her satisfaction. Her feet trampled on the lush green grass and Artemis began to eye it as she walked. At least grass was alive. It was her companion, a quiet companion, but a companion nevertheless.
Artemis's armor shimmered in the sun, it was a hot sun, hot enough to burn human flesh if they stayed out for too long. Artemis gave a sigh, she wasn't tired of traveling-she never was tired, but of course walking by yourself for two nights and one day did take its toll on you. She began to see the outlines of a little village and some rocks in the distance. A weird thing about the rocks was that one of them had a yoki.
A Claymore?, she thought expectantly, it was familiar, and she definitely know she sensed it somewhere. Before she had time to react she sense another yoki, coming near her, and gettign stronger and stronger.
"Yoohhhoo!" a voice called, lively and full of mirth. An iron armor clad girl with a mane of yellow hair passed her. Artemis couldn't identify her at all, but the voice and yoki were familiar too. It seemed like Cheri, a Claymroe she knew with a hyped up attitude.
The others have arrived, Artemis thought. The person who gave her the quest told her that she wasn't goign to be alone, but she only thought of one companion, not two. Or maybe there were more to come.

Arc had been given mission after mission recently and now it is time for him to go on this mission to Ribb. "This is getting bothersome." Arc thought as he approached the yoki of fellow warrior he felt. One male warrior was resting against his sword waiting. A female warrior was running up to the male warrior calling out "Yoohhhoo!" and a third one was silently approaching from a slightly different direction. And is that someone else coming but still out sight. Arc approached to join quietly as well but, broke the silence when he could see the faces of the three other warriors clearly he called out, "Greeting! Could I get your name? I am Arc."
Bluedragon77 - January 26, 2008 07:49 AM (GMT)
"Yoohhhoo!" came a loud call from one of the yoki's Siegfried sensed. Siegfried slowly got up as he sensed several yoki's heading towards him. The three closest one right now was coming into view. Spotting a young girl running towards the cart, Siegfried made sure he was presentable by wiping away any dust or stray dirt on him before he greeted the girl.
"Good day miss." Siegfried made a slight bow in the girls direction. Getting back up Siegfried studied the girl. She wore the standard warrior's suit and armor, and carried on her back the signature sword of their group; the claymore. Though she acts fairly cheeful and was rather small in comparison to himself, he could still sense her hidden strength behind that smile.
Siegfried turned to a rustling and found another female claymore with the standard suit and armor. She was looked like any other warrior, except her hair is the color black. Siegfried decided not to dwell on that matter now. "Good day miss." Siegfried made a slight bow before her.
"Greeting! Could I get your name? I am Arc." Turning around to a another voice, Siegfried stood to his full height to see the uncoming Arc as he was walking towards them.
"Good day sir Arc. I am Siegfried Schtauffen." After saying his greeting to Arc, Siegfried intoduced himself and made another bow to go along with his introduction. 'Best to be polite, than be considered rude. It looks like there will be plenty of strong warriors on this mission.'thought Siegfried as he stood back up waiting for a response from his comrades.

Though Alerian was not sure about why he was sent to this mission made him a little confused but he didn't question the orders given to him so he just followed. The beautiful surrounding forest made Alerian sleepy and comfortable while he was waiting for some of his fellow to come. So he slept for awhile near a tree just outside the forest "A nice and pleasant short rest wouldn't mind since I'm waiting for the others to come might indulged myself a little on it."
A few hour later when Alerian was taking a short nap the sound of someone saying "Yoohhhooo" he woke up because he is a light sleeper and alway on guard for any danger. "Hmmm someone calling? Maybe the others have come yawns oh well just when I'm enjoying my little break. Might as as well warm up a little." Alerian searches for a small tree that has it trunk the same size as Alerian's waists then he tries to cut it with Swallow Slash before going to where the others are.
kenjmg - January 26, 2008 05:53 PM (GMT)
"How about the other three who are here? What are your name?" Arc called out.
Kolox - January 27, 2008 02:38 PM (GMT)
- GAME MASTER COMMENTARY -
After saying hello, kissing on the cheecks and hugging and having a drinking party, you should decide on plan.
First - choose the leader of the group - he will decide for the direction of going.
Second - your next to the cart with equipment - check it out and choose neccesary equipment for your character
Third - if anyone wants to go solo - fine by me - decide on that as quickly as possible
Fourth - if you want to seperate in teams, that's fine too - decide on more than one leader then.
Have fun.
Kaiserkreuz - January 27, 2008 02:48 PM (GMT)
After warming up a little by cutting down a small tree Alerian goes to where the other warriors gathered. Sound of a falling tree, seeing some familiar faces "Good day I'm Alerian I'll bet helping you in this mission yawns a little" waits for the others reply.
Rabbit - January 27, 2008 10:37 PM (GMT)
Mara approached the gathering quietly, being one of the last to arrive, and didn't speak until she was near everyone else. She surveyed the assembled warriors before introducing herself, "I'm Mara. Good to see you all. Shall we begin?"
.:LemonTea:. - January 27, 2008 10:53 PM (GMT)
Artemis came to the vast group of Claymores. She was one of the last to arrive and the other warriors were all chatting when she arrived. She heard one of the silver eyed witches say she was Mara, and the girl who shouted out 'Yoohoo' in the beginning was Cheri-another warrior in her class.
"I'm Artemis," she began, "Let's start, but I think in order for this to begin we need to be organized." She gazed at her fellow comrades, all of the armor they had gleamed in the bright sun in the sky and their handles shimmered underneath the warm gaze, "We should probably have some leaders or something, just in case the yoma try to split us up. Also six warriors going into a village will cause uneasiness with the locals. And from information I have from my handler, they don't like Claymores."
kenjmg - January 28, 2008 05:44 AM (GMT)
"I can help us with dealing with locals. I have been on quite a few covert operations lately and still have some yoki restraining pills left and some travelers garbs. Though I don't have enough for everybody. But first as you say before we do anything we should decide on a leader. So any volunteers or nominations?" Arc said after hearing all the introduction and what the female warrior Mara said then waited for a reply.
Kaiserkreuz - January 28, 2008 03:09 PM (GMT)
Hmm if you ask me I'll nominate you Arc since we're from the same class and you have been sent to many mission so it is most likely to pick the one who has the most experience.
Bluedragon77 - January 28, 2008 09:17 PM (GMT)
"One leader isn't going to be enough. While I agree that Sir Arc should be the leader, we should have others as well. I'm afraid going in as a group is tactically disadvantageous for us. Large groups are harder to command, though I am not undermining the leadership skills of sir Arc. Single units will not work either as this will lead to chaos on the battlefield. I'm sorry if I offended anyone, but moving by yourself is going to be quite chaotic since we cannot keep track of each member nor can we lend aid to one another should the situation call for it. Might I suggest we move in small groups of two's or three's? If we move in small groups we would be able to move freely and sir Arc wouldn't have to worry as much, plus it would be easier for him to command small units instead of each individual. Small groups can also lend aid to one another. Tactically I believe small groups would be the best but we should elect a leader for all of us so as to keep order and peace amongst us." Siegfried said and stood there watching each member to see what their reaction to his plan was.
"Oh before I forget to mention. If you are looking for a leader might I suggest everyone else but me. You see leadership isn't my forte. So If you don't mind, leave me out of the leader selections." Siegfried took a step back and waited for the groups answer. Siegfried really did not think choosing him would be a wise choice. In fact it would be downright foolish to pick him. Surely his comrades had more sense than that.
Rabbit - January 28, 2008 10:57 PM (GMT)
"I mean no offense to anyone, but I tend to work better alone. Don't worry, though, I know how to be quiet and I won't cause trouble for the rest of you."
Mara shrugged and began rummaging through the supply cache.
"Oh, and I will be there when you need me. I am not in the habit of running off and abandoning my comrades."
Asura - January 28, 2008 11:13 PM (GMT)
Cheri listened to the other Claymores introduce themselves. The raven-haired witch Artemis finally spoke up about groups, and soon others were responding.
"I don't care who is my leader," Cheri said. "As long as it is someone who has proper leadership skills and doesn't matter about people messing up. I prefer to work in a group, it will be easier to kill yoma and somehow it makes me feel safer in a sense." She gave a merry laugh and then smiled.
OOC: Blue, Cheri is almost as tall as Clare, Miria, and the rest of them, so she isn't exactly child-sized. She kind of acts like a child though...
kenjmg - January 29, 2008 05:55 AM (GMT)
"Well I guess I will act as leader of this group then. That mean I just give task for everyone to do that they can achieve individually or in a group. Since are mission is to located or at least find out what happened to three fellow warriors who disappeared in the region we can divide are selfs into two separate tasks. Some of us will go into the village to gather information I think two warriors should be enough for this. The rest of us will be investigating the outskirts of town." Arc said and then paused for a moment before continuing, "I also would like the two group to meet up again to find out what we have learned let say at noon tomorrow. If you don't show up those who remain will assume that something has happened to you and you will be added to the list of warriors we need to find out what happened too. Now I will hear your preferences before assigning tasks. Now any questions?" Arc asked the present warriors after giving his plan for this mission.
Kolox - January 29, 2008 06:23 AM (GMT)
- Mara -
She went alone to the cart while others were talking. There was a lot of useful equipment inside - a lot of clothings, six travelling cloaks, 10 restraining pills, one hand axe, 5 daggers for close combat, 5 daggers for throwing, a crossbow (it was first time seeing one for Mara, it was a really expensive equipment) with 10 bolts and 3 torches with self-ignition device. Also a little box with some medical substances like pain killers and some tablets Mara didn't knew what could be used for.
There was also a very vague map of village.
EDIT: belts to bolts
Bluedragon77 - January 29, 2008 07:16 AM (GMT)
Siegfried stood there with a slight frown adorning his face as he watched the other warriors converse. Though he didn't like the idea of people going off alone, he really had no say in it. Arc voiced his plan than asked the remaining warriors what their preference was, and if there were any questions.
"..." Siegfried thought of replying but decided against it, instead he remained silent. Nodding to having no questions, Siegfried awaited his assigned task.
Rabbit - January 30, 2008 12:20 PM (GMT)
Mara's eyes passed over the equipment in the stash quickly, isolating what would be most useful. She then reached in and took two Yoki Suppression Pills, a travelling cloak, and a torch for her investigations. If nothing else, it would be useful for sticking into the face of anyone who tried to threaten her. Fastening the cloak securely around her neck, she took one last look at the crossbow - a wondrous weapon to be sure, though not completely unexpected given the vast resources of the Organisation and the amount humans were willing to pay to have a Yoma killed. She took time to observe the craftsmanship, how the weapon was put together. It was so unlike the bow and arrow that many human soldiers were trained to use, but at the same time she wondered if it would have enough power to cause damage to the enhanced flesh of a Yoma.
She decided she didn't need it. Best to travel light.
Then, she stopped and turned back to the cache, having forgotten to examine the map for information of the surrounding area.
Hynavian - January 31, 2008 10:52 AM (GMT)
.::Mara::.
The map unfolds and Mara noticed that it is a combination of symbols; circles, rectangles, squares, triangles, lines etc. The symbols are drawn in various proportions and the map is incomplete for it does not show what lies beyond the forest. However, for this mission, it will be adequate.
.::Surrounding The Town::.
The town is only but a portion of the map for it is surrounded by symbols that resemble that of a tree. The many tree symbols made the town look less impressive for it is a small part of the surrounding. To the North of the town, there are mountains, as symbolized by triangle symbols. To the South of the town, there is a river. The river flows either from the East to West or West to East for it is represented by two horizontal lines. Also the word "River" is written on the map, pointing out the obvious. To the East of the town, there are multiple tree symbols. To the West of the town, there are also multiple tree symbols.
.::The Town::.
The town has only an entrance/exit and it's located in the South. The most prominent landmark in town would have been a symbol that looks like that of a tower for it's right in the center of town and the symbol is the largest.
Near the Southern entrance/exit of town, there is a horse symbol.
The Eastern part of town is a cluster of symbols. A sword symbol, an apple symbol, and a shirt symbol. All the symbols are small and they are all clustered the East.
The Western part of town are multiple rectangles, each of them all bigger than any of the symbols found in the Eastern part of the town if they are to be pit 1 on 1 when it comes to size. Also with the many rectangles are 2 symbols; a symbol of a tea cup and a symbol of a bed.
To the North are multiple squarish symbols of different sizes. All the squarish symbols are more or less of the same size but there is a particular squarish symbol that is bigger than the others.

OOC: Feel free to ask any questions and to discuss all plans in the OOC. Rabbit, keep up the good job. :)

Seeing everyone blank faces Arc then sighed and started deciding in his head who goes where but not mention it when he said, "Since no responded I will then assign who goes where. But before that let's get a map." Arc went to the wagon and grabbed a map. It was a copy of the exact same map that Mara had gotten for herself. After spreading it out and looking over the map Arc continued, "It looks like I will be the only one heading into town unless some one decides they want to join me. And the rest will be doing a search of the area. I would have preferred to stay with the group for the entire time however, we need someone to get information from the village to focus the search and gain valuable insight into the areas we are exploring and it is a waste of resources if everyone goes."
Arc then paused for moment before selecting who would act as leader of the group in his absences, "I will selected Alerian as leader of the group until my return because of his tracking skills and slight edge in experience over the others here. I would recommend you start your search from the river and work your way from there since that area has the least chance of requiring the information I require from town but, I will leave where you go up to you. Okay the meeting point for us to gather tomorrow will be here. Now if anyone wants to come with me tell me while we are at the cart." Arc said then turned around and headed to cart to grab anything he will need to go into town.
Rabbit - February 2, 2008 02:08 AM (GMT)
Mara simply nodded and indicated that she would be going with Alerian's team to investigate the surrounding area. She was not typically good at dealing with humans as they always seemed to sense something odd in her mannerisms or speech; it was typically better if she didn't say anything at all. She had no opinion on the team leader himself - Arc was the ranking warrior and he had trusted him so that was enough for her. She waited to see who else was joining and prepared to leave.
Bluedragon77 - February 2, 2008 01:13 PM (GMT)
Siegfried silently nodded at the orders Arc gave. So Alerian is to be the leader until Arc returns. So be it.
Walking over to the cart, Siegfried quickly scanned over the items present. Siegfried immediately went over and grabbed a travelling cloak, 1 close combat dagger, a few clothing, a copy of the map, two yoki restraining pills, and some of the medical tablets and a few pain killers.
Taking his items over to the side Siegfried made a makeshift bag out of the few clothing and placed the medical tablets, the pain killers, and the yoki restraining pills inside. Siegfried attached the makeshift 'bag' with medical supplies over to his left hip as well as the dagger. Siegfried than took the cloak and wrapped it around himself.
Siegfried stood off to the side and prepared his own equipment. Once he was done he stood up and studied the map while waiting for the others.
Kaiserkreuz - February 2, 2008 03:07 PM (GMT)
When Arc selected Alerian as the leader of the team that will search the surrounding area he just nod and said. "Very well since you have nominated me as a substitute leader I'll do my best. Well I guess that Siegfried and Mara will be coming with me but what about the others?. Alerian when to the cart to get some equipments he needed a travelling cloak, and some small piece of clothing that he customized into a small bag which he put 2 yoki restraining pills and 10 pain killers and tablets.
"We'll be going to check the river after you guys finished getting the equipments you needed. I have a question how do we signal one another is some trouble arises? Just to make sure." Alerian ask Arc about it.
kenjmg - February 2, 2008 05:23 PM (GMT)
As Arc was about to searching through the cart Alerian asked Arc "We'll be going to check the river after you guys finished getting the equipments you needed. I have a question how do we signal one another is some trouble arises? Just to make sure." To which Arc replied, "The method that can be done in most situation by all present is a larger then normal yoki release for a duration longer then a 1 minute should suffice. It should be great enough that all with in the range of the search area should be able to notice it also, any situation which you need to release that amount of yoki for that long would suggest you were in danger."
As Arc was searching through the cart he grabbed three yoki restraining pills, a traveler cloak, some of the cloths to wear and some to sell in town, 10 bolts and the crossbow. Arc plans on selling the crossbow and bolts since it should give me enough money to help in his information gathering.
Rabbit - February 3, 2008 02:24 AM (GMT)
"Hey, Arc!" Mara called, suddenly remembering, "take these. Give them to whoever needs them - I have a feeling I won't have any use where I am going."
She tossed the two yoki suppressants she had taken to Arc - who was going to question her in the wilderness anyway? At least, no one that mattered.
kenjmg - February 3, 2008 02:42 AM (GMT)
"Thank you!" Arc replied as he caught the yoki suppressants pills. Pausing for a moment then Arc said, "Just remember to release your yoki for over a minute and the others will come to help you. And best of luck on your investigation in the surroundings."
Hynavian - February 4, 2008 09:18 AM (GMT)
OOC: I’ll assume that Arc took a pill before entering the village.
.::Arc::.
IC:
The horses swayed their tails sideways, they moved like paper fans that humans held to cool themselves when they were frantically swung from the left to right, up to down. The horses were trying to keep themselves cool though they were well shaded in stables. The skies were clear and the Sun shone brightly overhead, the heat shimmering above ground.
Strangely, none stood near the lone entrance of town and the stable was the most prominent architecture there. It was humongous to begin with for it held stallions of different breeds. They contrasted each other; a variation of colors, but there were some that looked more kempt than the others. The majestic-looking stallions stood out even more from the normal mares for there were decorations of some sort tied to their heads and the bodies. The majestic stallions were too obvious to be missed.
All neighed energetically when they noticed a cloak figure approaching and entering town. They neighed and kicked dust into the air, breaking the very silence in the Southern part of town but none came to welcome him, not even a sole was in sight in broad daylight.
.::Alerian, Mara, Siegfried::.
With the aid of the map(s), the trio set off and head South, towards the river. The trees were thick, tall and shades were everywhere. The shadow of trees, the shadow of trunks, and the many shadows kept the rays out and it was more cooled in the woods as compared to the village. The main path was well utilized for wagon tracks, horse hooves and prints of boots were imprinted on it. The trio was half-way there but that was when their sharp senses alerted them of something approaching…the creaking of wagon wheels was heard.
***
“Hmph…need more…need more…not enough…we need more”
He looked at them. They were wheeling the wagons of woods, returning to the Village. The wagon wheels creaked under the load of the firewood – noisily. However, it was not enough. They needed more, they needed much more of them. He left the pack and head into the forest with his hand axe.
Kaiserkreuz - February 4, 2008 09:40 AM (GMT)
When Alerian noticed the people wheeling some fire he told Mara and Siegfried to halt and don't make their presence fell by the people. "Wait I heard someone talking over there and hide our selves for the mean time we don't want those humans to know that there are claymores watching the area because they might get suspicious and ruin our investigation on the missing warriors."
When he noticed one of the humans separated from the group to get more firewood in the forest. "I need one of you to follow that man and know what they are up to with those firewoods." he told the others.
Rabbit - February 4, 2008 12:24 PM (GMT)
Mara's face assumed a mysterious, almost fey expression when the need for stealth and secrecy was called for. It was an odd thing and rather disconcerting for those who did not know her for very long.
"Out of all of us", she said softly, "I would like to think that I am best suited to such a task and if no one else objects, I'm quite happy to take it."
Almost too happy, in fact. There was a sort of glee she got from the irony of the situation - many humans found the Organisation's warriors terrifying but they had yet to meet one who could come close enough to hear them talking without even realising it. Not that she could, of course, her skill was still unrefined but she felt confident enough to stalk a single human through a reasonably dense forest.
Kaiserkreuz - February 4, 2008 01:35 PM (GMT)
When Alerian heard that Mara volunteered in following the human who went back to the forest. "Ok I'll leave that to you Mara just make sure he doesn't sense you following him and if you encounter any trouble you know what to do just release some of your yoki and we'll trace it. Why would they need that much fire wood anyway. still watching the humans who are near the river bank.
Hynavian - February 4, 2008 01:52 PM (GMT)
OOC: State/describe your hiding preference in next post, Kaiser & Bluedragon.
Kaiser, you're half-way and not at the river bank yet. Hence, you shouldn't be able to see the men at the bank at all..::Alerian, Siegfried::.
IC:Both warriors hid themselves somehow.
Slowly they came into view. There were 5 of them and were all armed with axes. 4 of them were pushing wagons loaded with firewood. Other than the creaking of wheels and the sounds of nature, the men never spoke. The team merely pushed on silently towards the village. Their figures became smaller and smaller as they moved out of sight of the two warriors.
.::Mara::.Mara successfully followed the man without him realizing it.
The man sloopily made his way around the woods. He passed one, and then another, and then another. And soon enough they were everywhere. Tree stumps of all sorts littered the area that he was in. He was in a clearing of some sort and he worked on a tree, sunlight reflected from the gleams of sweat that rolled down his brows.
The area felled is too large to be the masterpiece of the man and his team. It had to be done over a few days or a substantial amount of wood cutters would be needed. Moving any closer would compromise her position for there were not many trees to cover her.
Rabbit - February 4, 2008 03:14 PM (GMT)
He seemed to be an ordinary enough woodsman, but she would keep watch for as long as possible, just to see what he was up to. Those were her orders after all, and if it all proved to be for naught, then at least she had a better understanding of the terrain and was able to practice the more stealthy approach to the hunt. Mara moved slowly and quietly, trying to circle around for a better view. She kept away from the treeline, so as to not be seen, but she would continue to observe until detected or until something interesting happened.

"Let see first I need to sell the crossbow and bolts that would mean heading to the eastern part of town towards the sword symbol on the map. The I will need to head to west to inn to aquire a room then during the night head to the pub. This should do for a plan." Arc thought as he headed to the weapon shop.

Hiding behind one of the big trees in the area while Alerian and Siegfried watched the people pushing a cart fully loaded with firewood until they where out of their sight. "Where would they use that huge amount of fire wood anyway it's more than enough for them to use for a single day whats going on inside the town anyway? We'll got to wait for Mara until she returns from watching that human who went back in the forest hope she doesn't encounter any trouble and them we will continue in surveying the areas near the town. he told Siegfried.

Siegfried just followed Alerian silently. Hiding behind the large trees Alerian and Siegfried watched the men as they were carting off the large amount of wood. Siegfried turned to look at Alerian and spoke quietly so as to avoid any unneccesary attention "Could they be gathering all those wood for some sort of festival, or event?" Siegfried turned a questioning glance in the direction the men went in, than turned back to look at Alerian.

.::Mara::.
A tree fell and the wood cutter continued to work on it while maintaining his silence throughout. His axe did not stop, neither did he stop for a break at any point. He was obsessed, obsessed with wood cutting for all his focus was on the axe and the wood. Only the sound of metal against wood could be heard against the melodic sounds of nature.
Something glittered and caught the attention of Mara. It was in the woods and away from the wood cutter. Approximately 30 meters away. Mara could not identify what it was from her spot. Save for the long grass that gently danced in the breeze, nothing else moved.
.::Arc::.
Arc head to the Eastern part of town, to the point where the sword symbol was. It was a weapons shop. A handful of villagers were patronizing the various stalls found in the Eastern region. Most glared at Arc when he passed, a few others stared so hard at him and their eyeballs looked as if they would pop out soon. None approached Arc to welcome him. While making his way to the blacksmith, Arc identified the "apple symbol" to be a fruits stall while the "shirt symbol" to be the clothes shop.
The weapons shop was small but it held weapons of all lengths and sizes. The blacksmith said nothing when Arc entered and he merely watched Arc when he state his business. Arc noticed that the shop did not have any crossbow on sale for only sturdy-looking wooden bows were found. Each wooden bow was prized at 10 Beras while the arrow was 1 Bera each.
There were a few moment of silence as the blacksmith studied and scrutinized it.
"20 Beras for the crossbow and the 10 bolts," he offered while flipping the bow string to test it's sturdiness. The blacksmith awaits Arc's reply.
.::Alerian, Siegfried::.
Both hid behind the trees but all was relatively peaceful. The team of men were afar and their shadows had already disappeared in the distance. The silence was broken when a loud groan was heard coming from the deep woods that were behind the duo. The loud groan could only be heard by Alerian and Siegfried for Mara was nowhere near them.

When Alerian heard the loud groan coming from the forest. "Siegfried did you heard that load groan coming from the forest. What do you think it is better go check it out if its a yoma or something else and we'll look for Mara after we finished inspecting what it is. Let hide our yoki for now and search from where it came form. waits for Siegfried's reply before proceeding to where the sound came from.
